One of my old texts from YouTube arguments about Astarion endings

I am not that invested in this discourse nowadays because I lost hope to change anyone's opinion and also, I am simply tired from dealing with toxic bs that I am getting as a response to some of my old comments on YT to this day. My favourites are those who will reply to my every comment to say how delulu I am and I probably just dreaming about being in a toxic relationships myself, while being unable to understand that people have their own ways to heal through art and that throwing poison on people like that is not helpful at all.

I will leave it there and funny enough, I am not even so much of AA fan, I just don't like people being ignorant and rude.

And I like writing essays, so here it is.

So, what this dark romance fantasy is about for me personally,(even though i prefer spawn romance, i absolutely understand the appeal of asc Astarion because honestly, i was all about this kind of romance during my childhood and teenage years, hardocore the Phantom of the Opera girl is here, inside your head 💀), and why it's also healing route for some players,and no, it's not about kinky vampiric banging.

1)A lot of people feel extremely worthless and insecure, lonely, like no one really cares for them at all. It's a very deep wound that hurts and it's difficult to overcome even in perfectly loving, healthy and supportive relationship with a good partner,and even with therapy. So fantasy about a vampire, being obsessed with you so much that he is ready to do absolutely anything just to be with you for forever is really comforting. Also,you don't have to think too much about your imperfections, because for him you like a center of his vampire heart.

Besides, you sympathise with him - it's like a selfcomfort mirror, i love this monster despite everything, so in a way, i accept myself despite any flaws i see in me.

2) Safety. When the world around you feel like a wilderness, full of monsters, it feels like only the most terrifying loving monster can protect you from it. He is powerful and protective, and i am so precious to him, that he will set the world on fire just so i would be safe.

3) Responsibility. As you may see, this kind of relationship have daddy issues vibes and codependency, and in real life, you can't just fully submit safely to anyone, I don't think i have to explain why it's a dangerous idea to seek this kind of relationships in real life. You have to stay a grown up independent person and seek safety for yourself without expecting someone to come and heal all your wounds. But this is fantasy, so finally you can use this as a comfort fantasy with no fear about being taking advantage of, without shame to be called childish and etc.

4) Independence. Spawn ending is very terrifying for anyone who has issues with feeling safe and independent, because some of us prefer violent power fantasies over "we have each other and that's all that matters", second of all, this ending also has some shady co-dependency undertone to it that can be triggering for some people. I love Spawn Astarion a little bit more more than Asc and yet my heart stayed absolutely broken after running away from the sun scene, and i hate that he is so dependent on Tav. Larian owes me some emotional refund after this.

5)SA trauma: it wasn't even seen as a possibility for healing way by writer, but it is for some.Asc Astarion feels like he is the most powerful creature in the world,and he is fully controlling everything that happens between him and Tav,so finally, it's a kind of situation where there is no chance of him being abused again. It's one of the reasons why some people become Doms in BDSM dynamic relationships: finally, full control of the process and a partner, who trusts then enough to fully submit, trust issues is also big deal in Astarion story of healing. I find idea that that only Subs can enjoy Asc Astarion a little bit naive. Because,well, some news for you: Doms like it too because they understand why he is so eager to be a top :D

Unrealistic, not the healthiest way? Probably! But this man and this love is not real anyway.

Yes, i think many of us, especially folks who went through therapy and a lot of self reflecting are already aware that it's basically romanticized version of narcissistic obsession and in real life this is creepy, but it's not real, it's a fantasy. People use BDSM to heal, romance books and all other forms of art to deal with their inner demons and it's absolutely normal. Even if someone is blind to see what is wrong with Asc Astarion, I highly doubt that toxic bucket of shame and aggression are able to help see anyone problematic side of things. Do you know who is usually up to romanticize toxic dynamic in romance? Victims of abuse. In real life, if you just scream and yell at any poor girl/boy/whatever about how stupid they are for believing that their abusive partner really loves them, people will either break down and cry or tell you to f#ck off and they will have every right to do so, but they won't see what's wrong with their partner,in whom quite often victims of abuse see their only source of love and safety in life.

Hells, I am so sick and tired from this "white cloak knight saviour from cycle of abuse" toxic flood in this fandom. If you really want to educate people - do it with extreme care and compassion. Real life healing is not working like it's with Astarion in the game,few right dialogs and boom, dude is on the right path.

It takes enormous amount of patience and love, be kind to one another, and stay safe, darlings. Being toxic on Asc fans you are not helping anyone, you just hitting your superiority complex button in your ass.

Keeps a steady and level-headed front despite often being anxious and full of doubt towards herself. It pours out when things get truly rough, with dismay and desperation.

Tends to overwork herself and struggles with self-care. She has the incentive to wind down but the guilt would take over her and lock her back into her lab. It is even implied to manifest as an illusory monster that stalks her down.

She held considerably little value towards aesthetics or cleanliness, prioritizing practicality above all. She easily brushed off rat feces in her lab this woman won the idgaf war. She cares more about research routines than things like that, or even more, rules imposed to her.

She may be enabling Kumar... She knows when Kumar is wrong or when Kumar is trying to mess with her but she doesn't necessarily call her out on it. Yes she is very observant towards stuff related to research and the arcane, but can be fooled/lead on otherwise. She may know it but she won't voice it.

She talks and contemplates to herself a lot. Probably a pace-around-the-room-lost-in-thought enjoyer.

Based on her past, she has a tendency to be rebellious and turn her back on certain systems despite being dependent on one herself

For some time, she is quite dependent on Kumar's presence and guidance. She puts a lot of trust in Kumar despite the many questionable things she did to her and the people around her.

(My Insanity) Her tendency to conserve, paired by her predisposition to methodical routines makes it difficult for her to move on from Kumar. And she struggles to properly open up about it or confront it. Kumar left her mark in her way of doing things. The constant nature of her approaches in work/life makes the echoes of Kumar also constant. She would love to break free from the cycle of remembering Kumar by doing things differently, or taking a long deserved break from work... But at the same time, she feels like throwing herself off this 'orbit' is unreasonable, unproductive, and unbecoming of her. So it Rots.

She probably keeps Kumar's glasses, Kumar's bullet, what else? :))

Martyn fancies himself a schemer, someone who's not afraid to play the game the way it's intended. If that means earning a powerful ally's trust only to shatter it then he was going to do it. Only, Martyn's bark is worse than his bite, and every night he spends in lying awake in those soft, warm sheets that Ren had laid out just for him (freshly washed too, he might add. Smelled like sunshine) he wonders if he can do it. He can, of course. (he can't. he won't. he's too soft. soft and useless.) He'd cut his head off already. (he wants to vomit) (this is why no one needs you. wants you. loves you) Who cares about other people anyway? He is the only one who really matters. (the thought of being alone makes him want to cry) Ren, on the other hand, is a capable leader. The definition of loyal and dependable, if not a bit dramatic. He struggles with self-worth, being good enough, useful enough, powerful enough. But to others, he's the opposite, caring and protective of any who would ask for his aid. After all, every citizen deserves to live in safety and comfort, and providing that is what a good King would do. ~ Martyn's not as sneaky as he thinks he is. Ren knows. Ren sees the signs. It's a death game for a reason. But he doesn't let Martyn know. He doesn't even hold it against him. He doesn't see the bloodthirst anymore, only the broken pieces lying underneath. ~ or the King's Hand, it was the thrill of feeling Useful, Powerful, Feared (loved). He was going to miss it after he betrayed him, the high of bloodlust, the smell in the air as he charged into battle. (the way his hands held him so gently) For the King himself, deep down he knew it was never to be. He had met a monster, but he hoped his efforts calmed the storm ever so slightly. i'm on my once upon a time rewatch and spoiler alert, this one character became the author. as an author, you're given two options : record history as it happens or write it yourself. which means either let fate run its course or change it to your liking. so of course i'm here to write shit that goes against netflix's wednesday. someone, i won't name who but they know who they are, has inspired me to think beyond what the show offered us. so here we go.

what if all that we see on the show happens because wednesday has written about this before? we see 3 psychics in the show that uses their powers (xavier, rowan and wednesday) and we are mentioned two more (rowan's mother and morticia). so far xavier's the only one that can manipulate what he draws, rowan had telekinetic powers, rowan's mother did draw and predict the future. but what did wednesday and morticia do? for morticia, we're yet to see. but for wednesday, besides some random flashes, her powers are nonexistent. and i can't go with the fact her only superpower is being plagued by visions and not even on her own accord. even goody addams did more, even as a ghost.

so my thought is, the addamses women can see in the past, predict the future and most importantly, weave a future. we know wednesday wants to become an author. but let's be honest, not many novels do get sold if they're not interesting, with more intrigue than it should and so on so forth. which brings me back to viper (wednesday) and dominica (morticia). maybe one of the responses she got was that the main character had a perfect family and she must change that bc it's not realistic (ginny and georgia anyone?). so when she did, that's when her own feelings and thoughts towards her mother had become different. literally the only thing that's making sense beside wednesday pulling a ginny on tish.

as her drafts progressed, she had to create a monster, after all, so did mary shelley. so she did write about one, the only problem was that she didn't know what it was or who it was. but as every protagonist ever, viper had to find out in the end, by the time the last battle commences. it's basic storytelling, right? which concomitantly is exactly when the hyde is revealed to be tyler, the person she trusted the most.

and if we dig deeper (i am hanging by the thinnest thread to my sanity), doesn't the name jericho sounds familiar? if you didn't grow in a religious setting, you may have heard of iniko's jericho song which goes like jericho, jericho walls come down. according to this one biblical site, the israelites marched around jericho for 7 days and conquer the city when its walls miraculously fell down. israel destroys the city and everything in it, except for rahab and her family. which could mean that wednesday might unknowingly (or otherwise) bring jericho to destruction. to nothingness. whoever she spared is up to debate. if she wrote the imminent destruction of jericho, then there must be a reason. who broke my goth child so badly??? and why?????

but yeah, i think i'm going to make this a headcanon. it's the only thing that makes sense to me. the town being named jericho, wednesday being a writer that can write the present and the future, her relationship with her mother during season 1. let me be delulu, okay?

Well, I also have huge brainrot about polyamorous fic with ot8 for three months right now, and it's kind of magic reality AU, where fem!reader is STAY and have unusual powers, so to say. Not like she is Wonder Woman or Hermione, but more on urban witch and urban fairytales side.

The story begins at New Year Night (because I'm a sucker for winter holidays miracles). Reader is in relationships with another urban wizard, who shares with her with his abilities as a gift, but a new appearance and powers are her choice and hers only and unlimited money, because it's self insert Mary Sue, basically, and who I am to deny it and also it's always been her lifetime desire, dirty secret and guilty pleasure.

She sleeps and has a dream...like in "Inception", with changing reality and such. It's her favourite place in the city, winter night, a beautiful snowfall, she finally gets what she has dreamt about and finally in peace with herself, and suddenly hears Chan's voice cautiously but curiously asking who she is. She turns around and here are our kids, all of them, looking at her with huge shock and surprise. And here it is, the second holiday miracle.🎄🎆

Edit: I started writing this like ages ago but I don't see my own point with this writting and I'm editing it after reading @nini14 's Ackerman breaking the cycle analysis and I feel like both of these go hand in hand. So without further ado:

Triangles

Let's see as we all are made aware that aot significantly revolves around trios of friends such as the following :

Although these are the main trios that is noticeable, other trios can be made out by taking some characters from their original trios to make trios based on looks / character and dynamics. And this is where my argument comes in with this trio:

Their dynamic has always been mother father and son. Now let me explain, idk if anyone has heard about the drama triangle but here

These terms can be applied to MLE trio, Levi being the persecutor, Mikasa is the rescuer and the victim being Eren. In the first 3 seasons at least, Eren was being taken away and his decisions constently put him in danger, Levi being the persecutor who always gives Eren what he deserves for being a pain the ass and Mikasa being the rescuer always siding with Eren and protecting him no matter what. Do you see it?

This is Mikasa to a T.

The following is an example of the dad being the rescuer and the son "junior" being a victim, and much like Eren, could possibly refuse the hand that is helping him.

So that being said now that we have an understanding of their dynamics in the relationship, let's get back to understanding a triangle. Did you know triangles are one of the strongest shape because it has three sides that rely on each other hence shifting their energies on to each side and it makes the perfect shape for a bridge, architectures favourite. Why am I tell you this?

Because these dynamics that every trio is made up of in aot is because they have strong relationships.

Someone mentioned isayama loves putting move triangles and I couldn't help but agree, look at how many times he has placed Eren historia and an angry Mikasa? And subtly he has always ( to me at least) hinted the love triangle between Levi Mikasa and Eren, outside of their father-mother-son dynamic. Personally this makes sense to me the most, fueled by mikasa's dream. A choice was there to make and she unknowingly chose Levi.

Now this brings me to the death of all the trios Levi has been part of, from Isabel & Farlan to hanjo & Erwin to where we are now. Our situation before S4 was EMA+Levi = 4 people but we all know that a square isn't as strong as a triangle so something shifted. Eren, even with him in it Armin and him were more connected as for Levi and Mikasa as a pair it was more obvious. Especially in the conversation EMA had in that stare place as depicted on @gilly-bj 's analysis on similarities between rivamika and Mika's parents. Not only was Mikasa placed directly next to Levi although being feets apart in reality but her lines "another conversation only you two understand" it. Visually and verbally divided Mikasa from Eren and Armin and connected her to Levi. Both alone.

Yet another triangle placed by isayama intentionally or not is Armin Mikasa and Levi.

Because a triangle represents the process of recycle and reuse it also represent the cycle of life, an on going thing that doesn't stop, a history that repeats itself. And going back to Ackerman finally breaking this cycle of tragic fate, will they?

The fact that the whole manga series start at chapter 0 is very suspicious in it self. Why does it isyamaa? A 0, a circle that comes back around? A 0 which represents both the ending and the beginning? Why is the 1st chapter called "to you, 2000 years from now"? ( That's such a fucking impactful chapter name gives me chills )

Before my theory start I just wanna add that the story started from a narrative perspective makes me wanna believe in rivamika even more. Did eldians share the same fate in 2000 years? Who knows, but I know for sure Erens and mikasa's dynamic as the impulsive hotheaded doer and their protective calm but strong friend thinker will continue forever just like the never ending triangles.

The main dude who heavily resembles Mikasa even tho he is a man, has a incredible power just like the Ackerman's as a human AND he can shift into a titan???? Last time I checked weren't Ackerman's the bio product of titans? Remember is science is on a ongoing journey and forever progressing towards the impossible ;)

The little girl who resembles Gabi, who has the same dynamic as Eren, the girl also looks up to his inhumanly powers, a little too much alike Eren's idolisation of Levi ( and looking up to Mikasa's strength I think )?

Lastly, chapter 0 makes me believe it was set in the future. Look at the buildings, 2 story buildings I don't remember seeing buildings like this in the pre time skip era have you? I could be wrong tho.

If Isayama is as smart as we think he is then he might have related this chapter to the whole plot of aot. 🤷 Or it could mean something. And here's where my theory comes in and it may not be the most favourable for eldians. Let me start with the good part tho, the guy who looked like Mikasa is could be a descendant from the Ackerman clan, but he isn't half and half like Mikasa and Levi, he's full blooded. Which might be why he has the power to shift ( idk this kinda don't make sense since Mikasa and Levi can't buy hush )

So let's say rivamika got married had a family they always wanted and had the peaceful life and 2000 years from then this guy^ existed. Oddly familiar to great great great grammakasa 💀💀.

The cycle never ended for eldians, the whole world could still be mad at them for Erens action and has the prejudice against them for a long time. And the fact that they can shift is never going to change even 2000 years in the future. And the guy ( omg I keep calling him the guy cause I literally can not be bothered figuring out his name ) who lives in a far more developed society with richer civilization within the wall. It could be possible that Ymir or someone erased the eldians memories ONCE AGAIN after the rumbling ended. Because Mikasa levi weren't effected they probably were excused and got to live as they pleased. This dude is also the reason why I believe isayama does not consider the Ackerman's as side characters at all. In the end the story might have actually started with them, alluding to "the ending is just the beginning" as said by kingsama himself. ( Wtf am I saying lol )

So yeah in conclusion as I said yes story is weirdly really influenced by a large amount of triangles and loops. And yes ackerman probably would break the cycle of death after all living through hell fighting hell all for what? If not recreating into a heaven, giving it new life. I do believe in rivamika living the life they are destined for with each other but eldians fate might just be too tragic for me to see them as truly free people who gets to roam around outside the walls as they please.

I guess my point is that everything that goes around will come around, that will bring good karma for the Ackerman's and maybe a repeation of the past for the rest of the world. 😩😩 I think I fully somehow believe Eren is gone for good. Unless isayama draws him waking up from a long dream on his bed then 💀👀👀 I will throw myself away.

Y'all I had a dream.

It's so crazy, it would only be compared to a Hopping High Mad Hatter.

OMFG.

This dream starts out okay like I'm with my friends and holy shit, we looked amazing. (Like why can't I be this gorgeous irl!?) I think we all got a glow up. You guys were there too! Y'all were in the front desk and we're wearing suits.(You definitely could have snagged your bais's in even with out the suits. Just saying.) You two also have to halfs of a crown. Like a gold Laurel wreath tucked behind A and B's right and left ear respectively.(I can tell you apart cuz A had a lip ring!)

And holy shit we are transported to this beautiful gymnasium that's was decorated with these whimsical balls of glitter and the ribbons seemed to dance on their own. Good God, I want to go there just for the scenery.

Then the dream flashbacks to yesterday. Omg that gymnasium was suddenly the most disgusting thing I had ever seen. We were called in to clean. And apparently so was BTS. Intersting. We are seperated into a girl's and boys line. And BTS is obviously, in the other line. Mr.K, one of my teachers from America, comes and grabs Tae. But something's is wrong. He's really....small? Like he's a traniee again! What!? But I could not even read a book when that happened. Then I realised, somehow, I really don't know how, I screwed with the time line. I was having a mental breakdown, cuz I wasn't supposed to do that. It's as if I already knew I made a mistake but did it any way. I could see all the members. They were all teens and so was I. Jungkook was still so small and Namjoon had blond hair. Jimin was taller that Jk but we all know how long that lasted. Yoongi was very skinny and kinda pale and had a bandana tied to his head. Jin was still prettier that me as a teenager. Hobi still had a smile that could generate solar energy. And Tae was still an alein with a boxy smile.

We finish decorating and the boy's come over to hand us all an ice cream, and poor jungkook had to go to the girls line. We were all distracted by screen, but not me. When kookie came to give me mine, I did a litte bow and said (네, 감사합니다) which means (Yes, Thank you.) He was surprised I said thank you, and I was surprised that he was surprised (inseption). And he goes over to call his hyungs. They all walk over to me and me along with them are transported to a room whose only noteworthy point is white. Literally. It's so boring it's giving me anxiety. All the boys are now adults and so am I since I screwed with the time line.(Good job🤦) And holy mother of God. Not to brag or anything but adult me...she is hot as hell.

But they insist and I'm way to curious for may own good so dream teleported we are to this beautiful palace where we are....

A few kids run to my and I swear they look exactly like replicas of BTS. But the Rap line were all girls. So three nieces and four nephews come running toward me and omg, these are the strongest kids I have ever seen. They literally tackle me to the ground in giggles and I give them each a giant candy bar like the not-a-parent-yet aunt I am. Then as we were walking into the throne room (I knew it was the throne room cuz of the very obvious and large THRONES in the room) For the king's the thrones formed a semi circle and they sat age wise so Namjoon was the center.

You two sat on a throne couch right below him and I sat right in between you 2 and joon.

Then I woke up to write this at 3:37 am so I am very delusional and trying to remember what joon told me cuz I only know basic Korean. Also side note I ate more sugar the I should have the evening before.

(P.s-I heard drinking a glass of apple juice should help give you vivid dreams B. Also this is written in my doc's and titled "Holy Fuck" fitting name if you ask me!)

I haven't had a bts dream in so long. I(B) did have a crazy vivid nightmare the night before last: the entire dream took place in the day time and vampires were everywhere. They were chasing me and going to kill me and I was able to kill a few by stabbing them in the neck with ballpoint pens but there were these 4 hot vampire guys that I was terrified of because they were like super powerful(and so fucking hot) but I remember hiding under a table in a Mexican restaurant hoping they couldn't smell me and then at one point I escape and I'm running outside in this super crowded area like a fair/amusement park and I'm trying to call the police but I realize I'm in Italy and I don't know how to get the police and I'm crying telling people there are vampires and no one believes me and the hot vampires catch me and I know they're going to kill me and one slices my wrist in public and starts licking my blood and my blood was so hot and sticky and I felt sick and then I woke up.

Dreams are insane and you are so lucky to be able to dream about BTS and being their sister princess.
