Teen Wolf S5 becomes a million times more hilarious once you imagine that the Chimera Pack all still go to Beacon Hills alongside the McCall pack. They go through lessons together. I bet Theo forces the Chimeras to all sit with him at one table while the puppy pack sits sat at the polar opposite side of lunch hall. I bet they gang up against each other during Gym. I bet the classmates/teachers assume they’re just rival cliques

me: im gonna share with the fandom this silly little headcanon :)
also me: *writes too many paragraphs*
anywayss.......
after the fight at the hospital, once things go back to normal (as much as they can with monroe still on the run), the pack finds out about theo's living situation. since he's technically liam's responsibility and liam is the 'alpha' now that scott and the others are going to college (and also, since liam's parents know about the supernatural now), the pack basically forces theo to move in with liam.
scott says it's for his own good since it's dangerous out there ("i have fangs and claws" "yeah but this is still beacon hills"), others (like stiles, malia, argent and derek) say it's better for everyone if theo is being watched at all times, some members remain neutral about all of this (melissa, corey, lydia, mason), and liam says "i don't care. im not gonna make you do anything. you're free to do whatever you want. i'd rather not have you sleeping in a sleeping bag on my bedroom floor every night tho. but... it's your choice, i guess". and theo "no, liam, you can't make me do anything. none of you can. in fact, im only going to agree to this if you guarantee that as soon as i have the money to get an apartment, not a single one of you is gonna get in my way or try to follow me or watch my every move"
so he moves in.
it's not a sleeping bag, but an air mattress on liam's bedroom floor where he ends up sleeping every night. well, if you really can call 'pretending to sleep but staying awake all night so you don't get nightmares' sleeping. but one night, after a month living with liam and his family, he falls asleep.
he spent the entire day with liam on the preserve. not running from any evil creature or anything, just..... they're kind of friends now. liam and him. so after liam had a bad day at school and lacrosse practice (senior year and having to leave for college next year are making him really anxious. and the ied episode during lacrosse didn't help), theo bought some food and drove them to the preserve. he had fun. after they ate and liam was feeling better, they went for a walk and found a small lake. liam pushed theo in but before he could panic and think about what he had actually done, theo came out, grabbed liam, and jumped into the lake with him.
it was nice, actually. associating water with a nice memory now. a really nice memory, since eventually liam took his wet shirt off, which theo enjoyed because hey, he has eyes (liam has eyes too, that allowed him to see theo checking him out).
but yeah, now he's really tired. so even if he fights it, he sleeps.
and the nightmare comes.
it's the same as always. the morgue, tara, his heart, her heart.
the morgue, tara, his heart.
the morgue, tara, his heart.
the morgue, tara-
she stops.
she has her hand raised, about to take her heart back. but she's not moving, which is somehow worse. theo just wants it to be over and wake up.
"what are you waiting for? it's yours, take it" she doesn't move. this is definitely worse. "you know you don't have to stop" nothing, no movement.
"c'mon, get it over with!" theo's desperate now. he grabs her wrist and squeezes, trying to get a reaction. "do it. do it now, tara" still nothing, so he shuts his eyes and pulls her hand to his chest. "c'mon!"
but when he feels warm fingers instead of cold sharp ones pressed against him, he opens his eyes. tara's gone. liam's there. he's now holding liam's wrist.
"...liam? what-" liam does react. he moves his hand until he is the one holding theo's wrist, and slowly brings it to his chest, placing it on top of his heart. letting theo feel it beat.
and that's how theo wakes up.
he sits up on the air mattress, sweating and breathing hard. liam is kneeling on the floor next to him, trying to calm him down. theo then notices that one of his hands is trapped between liam's chest and liam's hand. his heartbeat is steady and theo tries to match it.
"yeah, that's it, theo. focus on me. you're safe, you're fine, just focus-" "shut up. i need you to shut up right now" and for the first time ever, liam does.
after a few minutes, theo can finally breathe normally, but he doesn't let go of liam yet.
"you okay?" "sorry i woke you up" "are you- what the fuck, theo. im not. im glad you woke me up so i could help you" "how did you know what to do?" "i don't... i didn't know. i was trying to wake you up but you wouldn't listen. so i thought that maybe if you felt something real, something not on the nightmare, you would... come back? i don't know. it worked tho" "yeah, it did. thank you" "you still haven't answered me. are you okay?" theo pauses for a second, glancing down at their joined hands still on liam's chest. "i am now"
that night theo realizes liam is his anchor. liam doesn't.
he thinks what helped theo was just being able to focus on something outside of the nightmare. so the next night he gives theo his phone and earphones and "here" "what's this for?" "so you don't... you know, have bad dreams? i don't wanna hear you complaining about my 'shitty music taste', just focus on the songs and.... yeah. you're welcome" "what are you... liam, i-" "i'll help you make a spotify acc tomorrow, im too tired now. maybe you can make music your anchor and hey, make playlists for different situations" "liam" "like... 'anchor music against nightmares' and 'music that keeps me from killing people' and-"
"it was you"
"what?"
"it is you. my anchor. i don't need music, i just need you"
oh
"oh..." "ugh, don't get weird" "im not!" "right. forgot you are weird" "okay, just- i mean- how- im- i mean, i don't-" "yeah, im gonna go" they are both sitting on theo's bed and liam jumps on top of theo before he can get up. he's panicking, okay?
"im going to kill you" "why?" "'why?' because right now you are-" "no! i mean why am i your anchor" "i don't know, liam. do you know why your anchor is your anchor?" and now would be a good time to let theo know that he's liam's anchor too, but.... "no..." "exactly. i guess you just..." "yeah?" theo sighs, trying not to look at liam, which is impossible because he's basically pinning theo to the air mattress and he's too close so he's all theo can see right now. "you make me feel safe. and i trust you" he says quietly. "i trust you too" liam says just as quietly. "yeah?" "yeah" "good. now can you get off me? your knee is practically on my dick and not in a fun way"
aaaaaaaand just like that the moment is over.
"'fun way'?! what do you mean?" "you're so red right now" "so are you!" "yeah, well, you're gonna wake your parents up if you keep yelling" "you're an asshole" "and you're still on top of me" "push me off then!" "nah, you get up" "dude shut up!" "make me"
did he just-
"are you- what- that is so- i-" "yeah, i love how your brain and mouth work" "i hate you so much. that was awful" "but are you going to?" "going to what?" "shut me- god, liam, never mind" and theo kisses him. and liam kisses him back, obviously.
they will definitely talk about theo being liam's anchor later. and about whatever this is, too. but making out is the most important thing at the moment. well, actually, theo's hands on his hair and his back are the most important thing to liam right now.
wait, no. the way theo is smiling against liam's lips is the Most Important Thing ever.

A New Home (Part 2) - Theo Raeken
Summary: Part 2 to A New Home. You help find Theo a place to stay after you found out he had been sleeping in his car, but you start developing feelings.
Word Count: 2,274
Author’s Note: I’m really happy with the way this one turned out. Theo is a little nicer in this compared to how he’s been in 6B. He’s way less hesitant to stay and help because of the reader. I’m posting a Derek Hale imagine later today!
Masterlist
Tumblr media
The next night you came to Derek’s Loft with a bag in tow. Theo heard your car door slam when you arrived, so he knew you were on your way up. You slid the loft door open, spotting Theo on the couch. You held up the bag in your hand, “I come baring gifts.”
Theo took a whiff of the air and replied, “Spaghetti and garlic bread.”
“Darn you werewolves and your super senses.” You sat the bag down on the coffee table and began pulling the food out.
“And what did I do to deserve this meal and your presents,” Theo asked bending down to reach the food on the table.
“I just thought you’d be hungry. You’ve got a place to stay now but nothing to eat.”
You pulled out some plates then handed one to Theo. He filled his plate up with the spaghetti and grabbed some bread. After just one bite, Theo mumbled as he chewed, “this is delicious.”
You laughed watching him stuff his mouth with your food. “You’re just saying that because you haven’t had a real meal in months. It’s not all that.”
“You gotta start giving yourself credit, Y/N,” he spoke in between chews. “This is really good.”
Smiling up at the werewolf you thanked him before you began eating your own food. The rest of the evening was spent laughing and telling stories. It was a little weird for you to be sitting there with Theo. Back when you thought he was trying to join Scott’s pack, you two never really hung out. Just the occasional conversation here and there in the hallways. He was actually pretty nice. It may had something to do with him getting dragged to God knows where. That kind of stuff has an effect on a person. But sitting here, right now with Theo, you could tell a friendship was growing.
You knocked on large metal door. It was late so you didn’t think it alright for you to just barge in, even though it technically wasn’t Theo’s place. You wiped another tear from your face, then crossed your arms over your chest. Shaking your head, you turned away from the door thinking this was a bad idea.
Suddenly, the door slid open but you were still turned away.
“Y/N?” Theo asked confused why you were there so late. “What’s going on? What’s wrong?”
“I-it’s nothing, Theo,” you shook your head. “I shouldn’t have come here. I-I should-“
Theo reached out to turn you around to face him. “It’s fine, Y/N.” When you turned around he saw your red eyes and the tears running down your face. “Why are you crying?”
“I had nowhere else to go. I couldn’t go home. I can’t talk to my Mom, she doesn’t know about supernatural creatures,” you laughed to yourself. “But how can she not? The whole town should know by now. Everyone is just in denial. There all going to know now though.”
“What are you talking about? Come in and tell me about it.”
You followed Theo into the loft. His arm was wrapped around your shoulder trying to comfort you. That’s when you started taking in your surroundings. Theo was barefoot wearing some grey sweatpants and a white tank. There were sheets spread out on the couch and pillows stacked up on the couch arm. A duffle bag full of clothes was on the floor next to the table. Theo pushed the sheets back so you could have room to sit. His other arm was still wrapped around you as you sat down.
“Okay, now tell me what happened.”
“They’re gone,” you said looking off into space. A blank, sad look covering your face.
“Who’s gone?”
“They killed them. We got there too late.”
Theo’s eyes searched yours for answers. “Who did they kill?”
“B-Brett and Lori. They didn’t even do anything,” you sniffled. “All the supernatural crap we’ve went through and everyone we’ve fought, and they come after two teenagers who only helped us.”
Theo just rubbed his hand up and down your back. You lost two people tonight and he knew nothing he said would be able to fix that.
“And- and Liam. God, he…,” you stopped your sentence short, dragging your hands down your face.
“What happened to Liam,” Theo asked scooting closer to you worried.
“He revealed himself in front of a whole street of people. Everyone is going to know tomorrow. And Corey,” you said a little louder looking up at Theo, “everyone at the school is going to be asking how he healed so quickly. Some little prick stabbed him with a pencil. Everything is falling apart.”
“No it’s not, Y/N. You guys have been through too much. Somehow it always works out. Scott will find a way.”
“I don’t know if he will, Theo,” you said shaking your head. “My friends are getting exposed as supernatural creatures. Hunters are back. People are dying.” You looked straight into Theo’s eyes before you said your next sentence. “You need to leave.”
“What,” Theo asked surprised. “Leave for what?”
“They already killed Brett and he was literally minding his own business. They don’t care if you’re hurting anyone or not. If they did that to him, there’s no telling what they’ll do to you.”
“I’m not leaving.”
“Why not? There’s nothing here for you. I’m the only person who’s talking to you. You were living out of your car a few days ago. It won’t be a big deal if you leave town and do it again.”
“You guys need my help. You need my help. I’m not leaving.”
“Don’t be stupid, Theo. It’s not worth it,” you shook you head again. You couldn’t understand why he didn’t want to leave. Even before you told him about the hunters, you didn’t understand why he stayed in Beacon Hills after the ghost riders left. There was nothing here for him. Most people would have left.
Theo reached up placing his hand on your face stopping you from shaking your head. “I’m not going to run, Y/N.”
The two of you just stared at each other for a few moments before you leaned in capturing Theo’s lips with your own. Theo kissed you back, then quickly moved away.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that.” You were so embarrassed. Here you were, early in the morning, throwing yourself at Theo and he didn’t even want you.
“No, yes, I mean,” Theo tried to explain but he was flustered. “I want to kiss you, I really do believe me. Just not like this. Your friends just died. You’re upset. When you kiss me, I want it to be because you want too. Not because you’re hurting and I’m comforting you.”
A small smile graced your lips. There were a lot of guys who would have just kept kissing you. Theo just kept surprising you.
“So you want to kiss me, huh?”
Scott, Lydia, Malia, and Theo were standing in front of you. If you hadn’t been there for yourself, you wouldn’t have believed it. It must be bad if the pack is letting Theo hang around.
“Uh… what’s going on guys?”
“We’re here to say bye, Y/N,” Scott answered.
Your eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. “Bye? What do you mean bye?”
Lydia walked up to you and grabbed your hands. “You’re going to leave for school tomorrow.”
“What,” you asked a little upset. Was this some sort of intervention to get you to leave for school?
“Y/N, you’ve got a scholarship. You have to go or else you’re going to lose it.”
“I’m not leaving you guys,” you responded shaking your head. “You need my help. And none of you are leaving, so why should I?”
“MIT can miss me for a little while. I’m already starting as a junior, so it’s not a big deal.”
“Scott’s not leaving either,” you pointed out.
Lydia dropped one of your hands as Scott moved in closer to speak. “I’m the alpha. I can’t leave my pack.”
“I’m part of the pack, too,” you argued annoyed. They couldn’t just make you go. “I can’t leave when people are dying.”
Now it was Theo’s turn to talk. “No one is saying you can’t help. You can just help on the weekends you drive back from school.”
“Y/N, we’re doing this because we care,” Scott said placing a hand on your shoulder. “College is a big deal. Me and Lydia are already missing it right now, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out, too. We promise, if anything huge happens we’ll call you and we won’t stop you from coming back. Stiles is training for the FBI. You should be at school, too.”
You leaned your head against Scott’s chest and mumbled, “I hate you guys.”
Scott chuckled as he placed his hand on the back of your head smoothing your hair down. “I know. We love you too, Y/N.”
You pulled away from Scott, then hugged Lydia and Malia next.
“Go to school and live a normal life for me,” Malia said hugging you tightly.
“If there are any French exchange students, I’ll let you know,” you giggled squeezing her back.
You didn’t have to leave for school until tomorrow. Thank God, it was only an hour and a half drive, so if things went for the worse at home you could be back in no time. It still wouldn’t be the same as you being there. But the pack was right. You needed to go to school.
You were packing up the last of your clothes, when there was a tap on your window. Setting your clothes down, you walked over to the window and peaked through the blinds. A smiling Theo Raeken was looking back at you. You smiled in return, sliding the window up so Theo could hop in.
“What are you doing here, Theo?”
“I didn’t really get to say a proper goodbye with the others.”
“It’s not really a goodbye. I’ll be back on Friday since I don’t have any classes that day.”
“Well, it won’t be the same. You’ll still be gone. I won’t have any home cooked meals for a few days.”
You giggled then said, “So you’re only going to miss my cooking. Good to know.” You turned and went back to packing the rest of your shirts.
“You know I’m going to miss more than your food, Y/N.”
“Oh really,” you replied folding a shirt and placing it in your suitcase. “And what exactly are you going to miss?”
“I’m going to miss hanging out with you in the loft,” Theo answered, watching your back. “And those stories you tell.”
“I do tell good stories.”
“I’m also going to miss your laugh. Not necessarily when you laugh at me, but I still like the sound of it.”
You smiled at Theo’s answer. “Anything else?”
“I’m going to miss how sweet you are,” the replied moving in closer. “Not everyone would let a stray in their house,” he chuckled and you laughed too.
“I’m going to miss how you look at me when you think I don’t notice.” You stopped placing clothes in your bag after he made that last statement. Your heartrate speeding up a little, and Theo was listening to every beat.
“You,” Theo said as he reached out and turned you around. “I’m going to miss you.”
Now, there was only a small space in between you and Theo. You were close enough to be able to count every lash on his eyelids if you wanted to. Your breathing slowed down and so did Theo’s. You were staring in his eyes, admiring how much better they looked up close. You watched as Theo’s eyes flickered from yours down to your lips, then right back up. You smirked as courage took over your body making you ask Theo, “So are you going to kiss me or what?”
A smile graced Theo’s lips before he leaned down and closed the space in between you two. Your hand reached up to run your fingers through the chimera’s hair. Theo’s arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you in closer to him. Theo’s soft lips melted against yours causing a soft moan to leave your lips. It was so good you wished you could keep kissing him forever. But your lungs screaming for oxygen caused you to pull away.
“It’s pretty late. I should probably go. You’re gonna have a long day tomorrow moving all your stuff.”
Your fingers were running through Theo’s hair, your eyes never leaving his. “Don’t remind me,” you said then sighed.
“Try to stay focused while you’re there. Me and the pack will handle things here.”
“Don’t you go doing anything stupid trying to be a hero and prove you’re a good guy. If something is coming for you, run.”
“Y/N, I-“
“Promise me, Theo. Don’t try to redeem yourself for the pack so they’ll accept you. I love those guys, but don’t be an idiot. Be here when I get back.”
Theo smirked down at you, “If I didn’t know any better I’d start to think you cared about me?”
You punched his shoulder and he laughed. “Well if me letting you stay in my house and me bringing you food everyday didn’t say I care, then I don’t know what will.”
Theo smiled and pushed a piece of your hair behind your ear. “I’m really gonna miss you, Y/N.”
You grinned back up at Theo. “It’s just four days, Raeken. I think you’ll survive.”
“This is Beacon Hills, baby. No one makes it out alive.”
