I read “An Invincible Summer” by ShanaStoryteller on AO3 awhile back and fell in love with the idea of a genderfluid Naruto. So this is my take on a genderfluid Naruto hiding his identity from Konoha. Her alias is Kidō Narumi and I have a fic about her in the works that will probably never see the light of day, but I had fun drawing this little scene from one of my outline points. This is by far the most complicated background I have ever drawn before and I both love and hate it.

Bonus:

After spending like 32+ hours on the original background, my brain short circuited and decided that a simpler background of lines and colours would be more appropriate and now I can’t decide which one I like more so here’s that one too I guess 🙃
