Hey, Luta. Regarding your answer to the last ask about Porsche entering sub head space — the other time you're talking about, is it when he rolls his head back and leans against the window after telling Kinn to admit that he likes him? If so, why do you think he went under (is that the right term) that early on? Is it because he got his got Kinn's answer/admission to liking him via his arousal?

Sorry for the cascade of questions lol I just find their D/s dynamic fascinating and you explain it so well.

I'm going to try my best to guide you guys in what I'm seeing. Please forgive me if this gets confusing. Hopefully at some point I can get gif for these scenes but at this point I'm just not finding them. So I'm just gonna point you guys in the direction and try to detail. I have a feeling this is going to get long. I'm so sorry!!!

Lets start this analyzes together at 49:02 on iQIYI episode 4

At this point Porsche is acting drugged. The reason I use the word acting is because we've established Porsche is a chameleon and will hide what he is truly feeling behind chaos. So it's going to take watching to really see but we've already seen that he is drugged because we saw through his eyes and they were hazy. However, he was very much coherent enough to fight Vegas off. Remember, Porsche is no novice to alcohol and drugs.

Okay at 49:13 he asks Kinn "you like me, don't you?" You guys this isn't a drunken/drugged question, at least not in my opinion. He is asking the exact same thing Kinn asked him. He just isn't being as straight forward about it as Kinn.

At 49:19 is when he starts acting like a brat sub. Again, I know that a bunch of you are going "He is drugged Luta!" ahhh, but watch. His smile consistently gets bigger as he sees he is breaking down Kinn's wall with his brattiness.

At 49:49 you see Kinn caress Porsches neck and Porsche roll his eyes up to the gesture with a smirk. Then Kinn kisses him, watch Porsche's face, watch Porsche's face! Apo acted his ass off in this scene, he really did. You can literally see the calculation on Porsche's face before he grabs Kinn and kisses him. Then Porsche goes "ahhhhhh" because he thinks it's back fired. Then he sees Kinn is hard and he is still in the game, that smile is back. Watch guys watch and I get that it's a hard watch because you are probably thinking he is drugged but I fucking slowed this shit down and went frame by frame. Porsche is not continuously smiling, it is based on what he is getting from Kinn.

You guys, I almost feel sorry for Kinn. He never stood a chance. Again, I could be completely wrong. I'm only human. Don't come at me. Please watch and decide for yourself.

At 51:00 Porsche goes "just admit you like me, otherwise why would you kiss me at the pier" and it's at this point that Kinn is pushed over the edge. Porsche remembers the kiss. 51:09 Porsche hits a bratt mental high because he knows he has won. Deep breath sigh and smile. Then he is already opening his mouth to accept Kinn because he knows he is coming.

52:08 and Porsche is in submissive head space. I literally called two of my friends from the Kink community and made them watch. One of them goes "wait.. are they really having sex.. how is he doing that" So I know I'm not totally crazy in what I'm seeing.

in kpts, almost everyone in the mafia is trapped there. a good half of them clearly want out.

porsche vehemently doesn't even want in. he resists to the best of his ability, and even once he's in, he still dreams of that bar on the beach. chay would drop the mafia in a heartbeat, if he felt that it was possible. kim's already got one foot out the door. kinn wishes he could have even half of what kim has, but he's been thoroughly convinced he's never allowed to have it.

so despite all these characters who would love to be let loose, who would kill for a chance at true freedom — would run off into the sunset and never look back — it's interesting that the narrative gives the slightest promise of freedom to the two characters who didn't know it was possible, who never even thought to dream of it. vegas and pete do not understand the value of what they've been handed.

will they ever understand? will they ever see that freedom as a gift instead of a curse?

After reading the 'what we know about Kim' thread I just wanna know what he was thinking. We know he went on a movie date with Chay (the ticket stub was there and what not). But he kept on insisting that whatever he does with Chay was just to extract information about Porsche. So I just wanna know his logic while he was on the movie date. I can just imagine him sitting beside Chay, holding a popcorn, and thinking, "I'm going to get so much information during this movie."

I can't stop thinking about how long Vegas' game is. Like, this episode established that he and Tawan have been working together (or rather, Tawan has been unknowingly working for him) at least since episode 8, but we all know this has been going on longer than that: my question is how long. Did Vegas find him after he got shot the first time and take him into custody, manipulate him into thinking he had a chance with him, and then release him onto Kinn and Porsche once he felt the time was right? Or has this been going on even longer? Was Tawan feeding Vegas information the whole time he was dating Kinn--we know he was selling his family secrets to the Italians, but we also know that Vegas has been working with/manipulating the Italians as well, so was he really selling secrets to Vegas? Is it a step too far to wonder whether Tawan dating Kinn in the first place was all part of the plan?

Like, holy shit. And this is only one part of Vegas' plan to bring down the main family. How long has he been planning this?

Also please forgive me if this is long. I don't know about others but when a blog gets too long, I wonder about the validity of reading it. Yet, I'm guilty. Here we go anyways. THERE BE SPOILERS

Tawan is Kinn's ex and he wants Kinn back. He is very conniving. It's also important to note that while the wheel is still turning, the hamster is dead. Meaning he is bat shit crazy and not like me, I have some morals. He shouldn't show up until after the great wilderness adventure though. Which I have given you an example of below.

When I saw the teaser for the next episode, I went stupid. Just ask my bestie @victooooorious who had to console me as I screamed "This is not like the book!" Not that I mind them deviating from the book. Like, thank you director gods for deviating from the rape scene. However, I don't like the idea that Mafia Daddy aka Mr. Korn is anything other than supportive of Kinn and Porsche. Because that's what I adored about him in the book. Plus, I now have to guess like everyone else on what's going to happen next. 🤣🤣🤣

Alright, lets start off with how the book says this should roll. The morning after, Porsche in the book, has a crisis for a lot of reasons. He takes a break to recoup, goes out on the town with his guy friends and tries to hook up with a girl, can't. Kinn comes to the rescue, which is where we get the very hot picture in the *this shall not be mentioned* previous trailer. Oops, I mentioned it.

They are frotting together. I will scream, cry, and throw things if this is taken out of the series. Not only because it's hot but because I'm sick of everything being strictly anal sex. There are other sexual things that two guys can do that don't involve the ass..... Okay, moving along, I warned you this would get long. Porsche then goes to Mafia Daddy and tries to quit and Daddy goes "What? Why! What did Kinn do!? Fuck that, you are going to take a break and we'll talk about this in seven days." Kinn finds out and loses his shit. Because book Kinn became addicted to Porsche from the very first minute of their first real kiss. He will do anything and everything for Porsche but let him go. So he chases Porsche to his house and that's about the time of their great wilderness adventure. This is also when KimChe meet, unlike in the series.

Instead we have Porsche getting beaten up by Big and Ken. We have Kinn having a talk with Mafia Daddy about Big and Ken's feelings.... So what the fuck is going to happen? Okay, so I feel that series Porsche is a confident bisexual, though I will repeat that I think Kinn was likely his first guy. This is just my guess, I don't think Porsche would have had a chance to really explore that side of himself. Even so I don't think we are going to see an existential crisis because he comes off as a confident bi. I think the crisis is going to come from him being beaten up by other guards and I don't think it will be just Big and Ken. I had to really think about this because, would it push him over the edge unless Kinn didn't help him but that would really be changing the core of who Kinn is. When it comes to Porsche, Kinn will make an exception every time.

So lets rotate back around. I do think that Kinn might have a slight crisis and distance himself from Porsche. Which leaves Porsche wide open for bullying. I also think he will be fucking hurt as hell by Kinn distancing himself. Which is the catalyst to make Porsche say "fuck this" and goes to Mafia Daddy to quit. I still refuse to believe that Mafia Daddy has changed that much from his core character. I think he still tells Porsche to think it over. In the meantime Porsche heads back to his old life, including his old bar job. Kinn finds out and has a talk with Mafia Daddy, which is when he finds out about Porsche being bullied and Daddy breaking it down to him. Kinn goes fuck this shit and goes after his man. He finds Porsche at the bar, where we hopefully have frotting and then Kinn asks him to be his bodyguard again.

There is also this and it is completely different from the book. I have no guesses. I like Kim but I can't get past the age gap to even want to look at what will happen with KimChe. I'm honestly hoping they've decided to take their romance out. Which is sad because I loved book KimChe beyond words.

Okay well there you have it. You now know who Tawan is and you now know what my guesses for the next episode are. Please people for the love of all that is holy (pinkmilk) don't come at me. Idk I feel like Nampheung isn't Porsche and Porschay's mom.

Like it may sound weird bc we saw her in a flashback, but maybe she was a foster mom or something, because it just feels so weird how she reacts everytime Porsche or Porschay calls her "mom" oe say they are "a family" or when Korn is so insistant on her being Porsche's mom and his sister and Porsche being his nephew like. Idk it's so weird.

And like. Gun was shot trying to say "the truth that Nampheung is-" and he got shot and died on the spot. And at first i was like "what if she is Vegas' mom??" which at first seemed to make so much sense but then I rememberd how Gun talked about Vegas' mom and said Vegas was "as useless as [her]" and it just doesntfit with how he treats and talks about Nampheung so yeah

But like cutting him mid sentence might be a trap because everyone will think "what was she?? A sister? A mom? A lover?" but what if the real question was "What is she not?"

And again, Korn being so insitant on family links, the way Gun talks about her is ambiguous because he could love her the most as a sister but also as a lover?? So it would mean she is the related to them at all? And since Korn half confessed she was a "Foster sister" to him, i mean the whole "not blood related" thing would make sense

+ her being visibly uncomfortable around Porsche and Chay

+ Her having most her memory and Korn being the only person to know about her surviving (how convenient... To be the only person able to shape the mind and influence the way this woman who lost her memory thinks...really convenaient if you ask me)

So yeah. It's just a lot of little things adding up that makes me wonder if she truly is Porsche's and Chay's mom, or if it is just yet another lie from Korn.

+ Gun never called her "sister" or never mentioned her as "Posche's mom" or whatever. It's really only Korn creating these links and Porsche following his lead because he is so desperate to believe his mom is alive that I think it's easy to have him following Korn's words without too much questionning.

I for one do not trust Korn about anything. The more he talks the less I am willing to believe whatever he says.

this sits as very biased meta but the problem is i don’t think for a second that vegas was going to shoot. he wasn’t going to shoot kinn and he definitely wasn’t going to shoot porsche and i think, for all their surface level hatred of each other, kinn knew it.

he still yelled in desperation when vegas pointed that gun at porsche but that’s because kinn can’t keep himself sane when it comes to porsche, can't bear the possibility of his lover being threatened, especially with an opponent as fierce as vegas.

but coming back to the point: vegas was never, for a moment, going to shoot kinn.

and it’s not like he doesn’t have plenty of chances to. right here:

instead of his evil little monologue

or here:

instead of just yelling kinn's name and running after him when there’s a fully functional gun in his hands.

i think someone could argue he wanted to do his lil villain monologue. that he didn’t want to shoot kinn carelessly, wanted the other to see him and understand what he was feeling and kill him while looking him dead in the eyes.

and you know what that’s valid, maybe that is why vegas didn’t shoot and maybe i’m completely off the mark. 

but in the universe where i am not insane, this set of expressions:

just looks like two brothers standing at the end of a very twisted road. vegas looks angry but kinn looks almost calm, which goes against everything we're led to believe about them.

because i am nothing if not a hopeless goner for optimistic tragedies, i think maybe there was a point when kinn and vegas didn’t hate each other. when they were younger and vegas was just a kid and kinn was his cool older cousin. long before gun started to poison vegas’ life, both of them young and, by virtue of being somewhere near in age, close. 

i think a lot of vegas’ anger towards kinn also seems tinged with resentment. it feels very reminiscent of someone who was betrayed or whose expectations were defied and his heart broken and he’s never since recovered, not fully. i think the minute they started growing up even a little and korn’s focus shifted from tankhun to kinn as his heir (because that’s all they are to him, replaceable weapons), the little possibility of peace humming between the families in the form of the kinnvegas bond had to be wiped out.

that whole spiel in the hospital where kinn says there is a major and minor family to foster competition feels so rehearsed and deliberately planted i have a hard time believing they're not korn’s words. and gun, of course, hardly helped matters.

my bet is this: something happens when they’re young – tankhun gets kidnapped one time too many and korn realises he’s useless to him now – and kinn is picked to be the heir-in-training. gun wastes no time tearing his son away and both fathers start their little circles of abuse but vegas has it rougher. he’s forced into worse situations with a physically abusive dad whereas korn’s manipulation is soft but unwavering. from the outside, he looks indulgent. as vegas gets sucked into the dirtier rings of the minor family life, he sees kinn in the lap of luxury, being spoiled and it breaks something in him. i think he loved kinn once, as a younger brother, and he can’t stand that he was forgotten. 

because kinn did forget him. kinn was so busy being papa’s perfect little boy he started to do exactly what he never would have wanted and became mean and firm and obedient like korn demanded. sentimentality had to be cut out and kinn was suddenly no longer the person who vegas could approach with a stinging cheek or when his duties suffocated him.

all it takes, then, to cut the thread loose is vegas coming to him, one last time, hoping secretly they can still go back, and kinn scornful as he throws his father’s words in his cousin’s face.

i think it’s what makes vegas snap. 

he sinks and sinks and kinn watches him, above water, and the bitterness could swallow vegas whole but he doesn’t let it. he promises to be better for macau, to never let anybody have his full faith like that again, to never place himself in anyone’s hands like that.
