Outed
What happened to Porsche in Ep 11 is basically a forced self-outing. He was forced to disclose and/or confirm things publicly (about himself and his relationship) that he doesn’t seem ready to disclose.
[Now please note that at no point am I blaming Kinn for anything. All he said was that he loved Porsche, how everything else played out from there is all on Korn and how he set the scenario up.]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Porsche is forced to reveal these deeply personal things in front of the father of the man he loves, said father’s right-hand man (with a gun?!), the brother of the man he loves (a known emotional wildcard), and a corridor full of bodyguards (current colleagues and some friends). And none of this is on his own terms. How scary that must be. The intrusion and violation and vulnerability he must be feeling. Zero control.
There are many ways to interpret his hesitance to answer but I’ve decided upon reluctance rooted in fear. It's his first relationship. It's the first person he's ever (romantically) loved. It's also (appears to be) his first sexual and romantic entanglement with a man. It's threefold. He does not want to expose these special feelings, these important firsts, to others. To give them up, put them out there and have others pass judgement. The set-up does not imply safety at all, these precious things could be taken away from him, and he could even be met with violence (there's a gun right there). All these answers are being drawn out of him reluctantly.
I've been publicly outed before and received a positive reaction too so I know it's bittersweet. Yes, there's relief (that the reaction was good and you were accepted) but there's also that feeling of exposure and vulnerability with everything ripped from your control. It wasn't on your terms.
Tumblr media
We see this exactly in Porsche's reaction. His reaction is not one of immediate relief and I’m not surprised. You can see he’s unsure of what to feel, of what just happened and why it happened, how he's supposed to react. He was not ready or prepared for it to be revealed in such a manner. There's a tiny smile at the end, the acknowledgement that yes indeed they were accepted but it's definitely not pure relief or jubilation. He's happy at the acceptance but he’s also probably feeling that exposure and vulnerability despite gaining consent from Korn and support from Khun and the other bodyguards.
This is why I find what Kinn does afterwards so perfect and beautiful.
Kinn sees and hears Porsche’s vulnerability; P: "I'm so not used to this room [...] when I don't have to hide it from anyone". So Kinn, in turn, exposes an emotional vulnerability of his own by revealing parts of his childhood; K: "When I was little, my mom used to blow dry my hair like this". He recognises Porsche is feeling exposed (after being outed) and so he exposes parts of himself too, he gives Porsche a part of his past. A sharing of vulnerabilities and reassurance.
After that public outing their relationship is no longer the special, safe place it once was as the world with just the two of them - 'outsiders' are involved now. And then it happens again:
Tumblr media
A seemingly safe space for them to exist just the two of them (in bed) has been invaded and their relationship is exposed to yet more 'outsiders' (Time and Tay). He's clearly uncomfortable and tries to leave. However, he only verbally (and then again physically) tries to leave after they start discussing personal details of his relationship.
Kinn acknowledges Porsche's feelings of exposure and vulnerability (in the manner of "shyness", I guess) and reassures him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just like in Ep 8 when Porsche feels exposed/vulnerable and tries to withdraw, Kinn pulls him back. He lets Porsche know he's present and together in this with him; that Porsche doesn’t have to deal with this alone. Encourages him that it's alright and normal and good for them to exist together visibly and publicly now. But he doesn't just stop there, he goes so much further.
When they go to celebrate, Kinn takes them to Hum Bar (Yok’s bar). I think this is a very specific, intentional choice on Kinn's part. He brings Porsche back to his own home ground — somewhere he feels secure and familiar with, somewhere he can regain confidence and comfort while navigating this new relationship exposure.
Kinn has been to Hum Bar before and knows there is a chance Porsche's friends (Jom, Tem, and his old bartending buddies) might be there, and Yok is definitely going to be there. So with this choice of venue, he delivers Porsche to his support network (in this case Yok), so he can surround himself with support.
Tumblr media
We can see Porsche is reassured around Yok, reaching out with his typical physical affection.
Finally, Kinn proudly and loudly states his love looking directly at Porsche despite being shy himself. The ultimate reassurance.
Tumblr media
Porsche might not have been ready to be outed and might still be feeling vulnerable about it but Kinn is sure as hell not going to let him feel bad about this situation. He’s going to turn this into a positive for Porsche. To remind him that even if the manner of being outed might have been bad, being out and visible isn't bad.

Not these stale takes on Vegas again
I was reading a thread on reddit and someone was saying that Vegas is a chronic loser, that he always loses out to Kinn, that even Porsche with his one braincell knows all Vegas deserves is a hard pass. And then they had the gall to add "and he ended up with a fucking bodyguard". I've seen the post yesterday and I am still fuming. It bothered me so much that there's people who see Vegas as a loser and it made me think. While I was watching the series, I felt that for Vegas to be a credible villain, he should have gotten with Porsche FIRST, before Kinn, a la Dangerous Liaisons, but then I realised that if he had done that, sure it would have one-upped Kinn, but it would have made Vegas petty and short-sighted in his pursuits. And I like to tell myself that Porsche does find Vegas attractive, but the little self-preservation he has is begging him not to fuck around and find out because sure, Vegas is appealing and he promises a lot, but danger follows him wherever he goes and Porsche would like to live to see Chay graduate ( *cough* if Chay sees fit to get his shit together at some point *cough*). Calling Vegas a loser is looking at him through his father's eyes and choosing to ignore the fact that he is hands-on, competent, brings the skills needed to lead and is respected (and feared) by his henchmen. Kinn sits on his ass and does what daddy tells him, and when shit doesn't go his way he flashes his ring like he's in a Green Lantern movie. He wins just by showing up. On a level, I also think Vegas was sabotaging his attempts to get with Porsche just to stick it to Kinn because I can't imagine he approved of the plan since it came from his bitch-ass dad and it was in poor taste. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine that Vegas, perceptive and good at reading people Vegas, failed to see that his sad meow-meow cursed prince act would not work on Porsche, who loves to be the princess in every scenario and who is looking for a hero with big firm tiddies he can dramatically faint on. I also don't think Vegas is a loser AT ALL. Sure, he didn't beat Kinn at... *checks notes* being trapped in the mafia and under Korn's foot? And he "ended up" with the best, most interesting and hottest character on the show, who also happens to be compatible with him and loves him back... wow, such tragedy (that I would also like to experience)!
Tumblr media
Look how in love he is. Pete is the best thing that happened to him, at the right time too. That's not losing and going home with scraps to me.

Kinnporsche Notes and thoughts Episode 12
This started out as a way for me to keep notes. Something to look back on when writing my posts. One day I was going to skip writing them and I got messages. I realized that this was something personal and special that we bonded over. Thank you for your friendship and support 💜💜💜
We start off with Porsche dropping Chay off at school. It's a beautiful moment. I am surprised that Porsche is missing something is wrong. Though likely putting it down to a new school.
Chay is every break up MOOD. Have we not all been there at least once. Okay maybe not all of us but a majority. Emotional over load, run away, and change hair. There is a check list I'm sure.
I love how Pol still treats Porsche like Porsche but the new guy treats him like he is the boss.
Where is Kinn? Kinn didn't take bodyguards? Then he is up to something he doesn't want the to know about. I do think some of this is motivated by concern.
"Arm, code red" Arm immediately stands up and goes away. Remember when I said that the main bodyguards started treating Porsche more as a boss long ago. They are completely loyal to him. Kinn knows it too. That's why he trusts these guards the most too.
"Kinn, Are you cheating on me" Kinn would cut a nut before he cheated on Porsche. It's sad that Tawan has caused these insecurities. Though, I truly believe the big motivation is more concern.
His button has a mic. Hahaha. I put money on that being Porsche's doing.
Look at the dude flirting with Kinn. Kinn immediately looks uncomfortable and his eyes shift quickly. He knows either Porsche is listening or that someone who will report to Porsche is!
Smart man Kinn. He's like, we just not gonna say shit.
I love the coconuts. They have codes and their not afraid to use them!
Look at Kinn's face when Porsche is brought up. He has made sure its blank, with only a little anger showing through.
But then he inhales through his nose and swallows. This is the moment he has to deal with this and book it home.
Kinn made a half ass excuse backed with authority and booked it.
First thing to notice is that Pete searched the room to find that book. So he had to see those bolt cutters right? I sent the picture to the electrician who verified that it does in fact look like a bolt cutter.. The only reason he gave me for why Pete wouldn't use them "hell, he is a glutton for punishment, clearly"
We are about to deep dive into some multi-layers. "Where did you get that" and Pete replies with sass "I went to buy it." Once Vegas lost his anger, Pete once again became himself. What's more Vegas is amused and plays back "That book doesn't suit an idiot like you"
Look at Pete though, he is not appreciative of this comment at all. "Idiot, that's you" Again Pete is just being himself with Vegas. Back to their normal selves.
I am not going to go too deep into the blood types here. As @biochemjess has pointed out here. It's just sugar on the blood. I do think what's important to the conversation to know that Pete is O and Vegas is AB. One can give and the other can receive. The other can't receive what the other can give.
Vegas is staring at the hedgehog. When Pete calls his name, Vegas immediately shifts his body to face Pete. "What's your blood type" "AB" and Pete smiles and goes, "that's so cool, I wish I were AB" why? He hasn't yet read about AB but he wants to be it? Because he wished that could be the same? That they could equally give and receive?
Vegas finds Pete amusing because he doesn't get it yet. Then he asks Pete what his blood type is and it's O.
We find out that AB is peculiar, he looks open on the outside but is actually closed on the inside. Also difficult to understand emotionally. Volatile. And Pete says "this is so accurate" which amuses Vegas.
Pete knows Vegas. Do you really think he would know him so well, in such a short period of time, if not paying attention?
After Pete points out the book is Vegas' we see Vegas staring at the hedgehog. This is when we can see a change in his body language.
He leans forward to look closer in the cage. Vegas gets pissed at sensitive. Why? He has been calm and humorous up to this point. He says "whose weak" He is worried about his pet and is afraid to show it. Pete says "sensitive not weak, you are in need of love"
Vegas says "fucking leave it alone" and kicks the book. Why the mood change? Several reasons. His pet, one of only a few things he loves is not well. The other is Pete and Pete is simply on vacation.
Vegas has left bolt cutters you guys. He is simultaneously waiting 9n Pete's escape at the same time he is dreading it.
Pete is confused. He's looking around to see where the change is coming from. We see Vegas looking at the hedgehog. Pete looks at Vegas then the hedgehog, narrows his eyes and tilts his head as if thinking.
Porsche waiting at the window in his bodyguard uniform. Kinn is approaching hesitantly. His face already showing concern. He is unsurprised to be pushed away. He is clearly upset when he asks what's wrong. He already knows. Otherwise he would react with confusion and anger but instead he is trying to give off calm.
He's a man walking a tight rope and knows it. "Do I look like a fool" "What are you thinking" are you seeing it. He's being calm and soothing cause Porsche is a ticking Bomb he can't let go off.
Let me just say that Kinn IS nailing the Dominant right here. He is in the wrong and he is owning it. He is letting Porsche vent and communicate but he is walking him back, enclosing him. While keeping his tone controlled and moderate. It says, I am confident. I fucked up but I'm still here, I still have you, and I'm confident I can fix this.
Chan only addresses Mr. Kinn. And blocks Porsche. This makes me nervous guys. Something about this seems not right.
Tricking Porsche to work there and he knows about the car crash. Kinn is nervous.
The story doesn't add up. You put Porsche in a dangerous job to care for him and his brother? He might make more money but how are they having a better life... Doesn't add up daddy.
Kinn puts a hand on Porsche to remind him who he is talking to. Porsche pushes back, saying he knows but he will say his peace.
Kin sees how angry Porsche is. "I think you went to far" also reminder I'm on your side Porsche. Korn "Yes, I think so too" code for I didn't know my son's would get so attached.
Porsche tells daddy to shove it. Kinn tries to stop him. Daddy tells Kinn to go.
Once again when hurting Vegas heads to Pete. Pete though hurt doesn't hesitate to sit up and help. He isn't surprised the hedgehog is sick.
There have been so many guards but now there are none? Why? Vegas could be lying but he hasn't been lying to Pete since everything changed.
Now follow me. Last time Vegas was really upset he left a belt but he was waiting for Pete because he realized he left the belt. So do you really think he doesn't know he left a key. He also told Pete there are no guards. Who he probably sent somewhere so that Pete could escape. He's familiar with Hedgehogs and knows a vet isn't going to help at this point. Probably realized it earlier in the day. He is giving Pete the opportunity to escape. Maybe he thought he hadn't used the cutters because of the guards?
And maybe he was right because why else has Pete not used the cutters but now uses the keys?
Reminder. Again. Pete is not a super sweet nice guy. He only gives a shit about the select people he cares about. If you keep making him sweet, you are going to miss the real significance if Pete. He loves Vegas.
Vegas is not surprised that Pete is free. Only that Pete is coming to his side. "He is dead"
Pete inches closer and then puts his hand on Vegas' leg. Offering support and it breaks Vegas. I swear that I think that night when Vegas removed his last mask , that he well and truly removed them. Vegas is just him with Pete. Again, being vulnerable does not strip Vegas of his Dom status. I am vulnerable with my subs and none of them have ever thought less of me. That is not what makes me a Dom.
I love that when Vegas cries, Pete tears up. Their pain is shared. Then Vegas looks at Pete, really soul deep looks. For a moment everything is quiet like the pain is forgotten and then suddenly Vegas' face is etched with intense pain. Like he just realized something.
When Pete hands Vegas the flower. We can see they are sitting much closer together.
Vegas stands and waits on Pete. When he walks away, he has no doubt Pete will follow... Pete is on vacation. He isn't here forever but in this moment he chose to be there.
"Why didn't you run away" and Pete lies "I don't even know"
My dad had me take care of the Hedgehogs since little. One by one they all died until one left. "He still left me too" "I didn't even get to name him" why? He should have had time. This is a statement of regret. He thought by not naming him he would be less attached and he realizes he was wrong. He tried not to get close but he did anyway. Are you guys catching the double meanings here???
Pete says "If you're feeling sad, that means it's important" Vegas cries more and then says, "Everything I've loved, leaves me"
There is a very fine line between sadomastic and self harm. The difference should be the pursuit of endorphins versus a desire to be punished. For us though; feelings, emotions, and pain are all tied together. And a break the camels back situation can lead to blurred lines. Usually there is a support system to guide you back. Or lead you to safer, saner ways. What support system does Vegas have though?
Vegas proves that he sees Pete too. "But you like me like this, when I'm moody" you see the real me and it excites you. Just admit it.
Vegas "I know exactly what I want" he's had regrets. He knows hiding from it won't fix it. "How about you, Pete" "How do you like it" admit you want me as badly as I want you. "You're Psycho" to which Vegas only smiles and doesn't deny.
"But a guy like you, it's no fun if you don't give in" It isn't worth it if you don't choose me. This is honestly explained so well by my dear friend @ellaspore here
And Pete realizes what Vegas is saying and takes this moment for himself. Vegas surprised quickly slides into so fucking happy.
I love the fucking hair grab. Pete started it but Vegas has control.
Pete licking his own arm. Is a classic sign of being gone gone. You're so high in the endorphins that everything is pinging and instinct is telling you to savor it all. Everything is heightened. Smell, taste, sound and it's just driving you higher.
Fuckkkkkkk. Vegas and that ass.
Make know bones about what Pete is saying by handing over the rope. He is absolutely and unquvically submitting.
Okay that knot is gorgeous. You are seeing the tighten but that type of not has you initially tye with two fingers within the rope then you tighten after lapping. It's secure enough to not have touch give for too much wiggle but lax enough to have longer before nerve concerns. That particular rope is damn good rope, it's not rough and it's thick which will distribute better.
The kiss of the hands. He is recognizing and appreciating the submission.
Honestly I'm more worried about how his ankles are bound. That could cut off circulation. You got about twenty minutes give or take before we have issues.
Omg.. how passive Pete is. Sgfggfh
Vegas is treating him good. Damnn. Those little kiss. This is love making not fucking.
This is the real Pete. That smile. Their smile.
Sweet brother moment.
Bread product placement.
I love how we've come full circle of you live is mine to your life means the most.
I love this talk. Omg. How much they love each other. Kinn just wants Porsche. And Porsche just wants Kinn happy.
So domestic. How comfortable are we saying that Kinn knows he walked away from the life???
Daddy Dearest. I don't trust you. What are you trying to cover up by giving that picture.
Mafia boyfriends. I'll support you if you want to kill him. Do you want me to help you kill him. I'm glad you didn't kill him because it would have hurt you.
I l9ve how Porsche doesn't hesitate to ask for support. He just pulls him in.
Back where it started! Refresh and renew! I love yous!
All that green around the uncle. The question is who sent him?? Otherwise how did he know shit.
And what is daddy trying to cover up?
There you have it. My thoughts. You don't have to agree with me, but know this took hours not minutes. I don't watch the whole thing and give my opinion. I freeze frame and detail. I rewind over and over. Which is a labor of love for myself and my friends. I hope you enjoy 💜💜💜
Before you reblog my post or send an ASK talking about Stockholm Syndrome. Please take the time to read this by someone who actually knows what the fuck they are talking about. Thank you @akitbeast

Kim & Chay - Emotional Turmoil
The perks of having a layered show, we were presented with the spectrum of events with the complexity of the characters, which we can't easily compartmentalize. Some parts might be appealing to some, while different parts more to others. In episode 11, I found my attention snatched by Kim-Chay's emerging conflict amidst the heavy focus on Vegas-Pete arcs and Kinn-Porsche's post-family-approval honeymoon phase. The episode signified peak emotional turmoil for both Kim and Chay, each for different reasons, with some intersecting points yet to be revealed.
After the "rejection" scene, I first couldn't fully grasp how I actually felt about these two boys. On automatic response, though, my heart breaks for both of them. This excellent meta post by @luckydragon10 about Kim and isolation very well explained my thoughts on Kim and why he behaved and reacted the way he did. After reading the post, I was motivated to dive more into my thoughts about Kim-Chay.
Fair warning: this will mostly based on my perspective and interpretation of their scenes and acting. While I don't intend to draw on the theory of MBTI, I need to say up front that I will use a 'feeler' spectrum hat in trying to see things from both Kim's and Chay's positions. They might not conform to any projection on how these characters should or should not be presented in the show.
=========================
Chay's Breakdown
Let's start with Chay. The boy definitely has too much on his plate to digest. First, being kidnapped when seconds ago he just happily prepared a meal for Kim at home after snuggling all night (was it really, or was it a short nap only?). Second, right after being saved (not knowing it's by Kim himself), he finally learned about his brother's involvement in a mafia world related to his kidnapping. Third, with a sudden move into the Theerapanyakul estate, he needs to also enter the mafia family himself. Fourth, the shock from learning about Kim being the youngest of the Theerapanyakul brothers. Fifth (I'm speculating on this one), the realization of the motives behind Kim's guitar tutoring now seems to be not as genuine as Chay would like. And sixth, that straightforward "Have you ever loved me?" "I'm sorry."
When I first saw Chay standing at the edge of the swimming pool, waiting for Porsche, my heart sunk a little. This was Chay's first appearance in the episode, and I think we all can see the stark difference in Chay's facial expression from the previous episodes. The usual cheerfulness and awkward innocence were wiped off.
Tumblr media
I appreciate the dialogue between him and Porsche addressing Porsche's decision to take the bodyguard job first. I noticed a slight tension between them, and while I personally did not take Porsche reassurance really well, Chay definitely did or at least tried hard to. I also love seeing Porsche ask Chay for permission to take care of both him and Kinn and that he can't leave anyone behind. And Chay, being usually straightforward with his feeling and reaction, answered with a hug and an "I miss you, brother" instead of a yes/no. Their hug at the end supposedly offered warmth, but the missing smile from Chay made my heart sink a little deeper. Well, okay, he slightly smiled but didn't quite reach the eyes as one during their hug in episode 1.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now jump into Kim's place, where Chay confronted him about everything. Okay, I was a mess here. So let's cut things to where Kim left the crying Chay behind: the boy is heartbroken. Chay sure knows what does it means to answer a yes/no question with anything but a yes or no, with letting go a hand instead of giving a hug. But who really knows what's inside Kim's fortress (as many people called it).
That's it. And do I not want to smack Kim with Tankhun's tray? Out of the question. But it can wait. No picture of crying Chay here, I'm not sorry.
Kim's Back Down
Now we look into Kim. The meta post I mentioned at the beginning perfectly outlined the reasons behind Kim's actions toward Chay, to all of which I couldn't agree more. So I just wanted to add my personal take on him.
First, out of all the six main characters of KP, I must say Kim is the hardest to read. With their minimal screen-time, I must say it's easier to read Chay. But maybe this' factoring to how Chay is presented: expressive, honest, and straightforward. Most of the time, Kim was presented with cool/cold, nonchalance mannerism which always ended up in me asking, "what the hell is this guy thinking?" But then we had these two opposite sides of him: the softest and the (not so) grimmest. Both related to Chay: when Chay hugged him and when Chay was kidnapped. This might not be enough to signify Chay's importance to Kim, but I'd take all of that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Second, now the reason why he 'i'm sorry'-ed Chay, I'm speculating it has something to do with the investigation that he's been conducting. Before the swimming pool scene between Porsche and Chay, we were shown that Kim had a hand in the case of the Kittisawasd parents' accident. So it might trigger him to finally cut things off with Chay, something he should've done earlier. But of course, he couldn't resist Chay. If my assumption is correct, he's already felt guilty for letting himself get involved too far with Chay. Tutoring and approaching him while digging for information about Porsche already felt bad enough. He couldn't imagine what staying in whatever he had with Chay while investigating the possible connection between Chay's parent's death and his own father would do any good.
Third, this is where I wanted to come back to the discussion of Kim and isolation. So far, the show only told about Kim's physical distance from the main family but never told us why he chose be away. Did something bad happen to him before, just like Tankhun's kidnapping? Not that the show had mentioned. Did he catch something off about his father or the rivalry between the main and minor families early on? And if so, how? This, I could see as the possible reason for him to isolate himself from his own family. Maybe to give him more 'space' and freedom to investigate everything? Like Tankhun said, Kim's nosy. He might be away from the family but still care enough about them in his own way. I would like to believe so.
As someone within a rather extreme introversion spectrum, I can say that being too used to (self) isolation, once confronted with anything related to feelings, it is possible to automatically shut yourself away from the people you need to confront the feelings with. You've unconsciously trained yourselves to avoid making deeper connections with people, and as a result, you would develop constant reluctance and fear of being in a close relationship. You would end up rejecting or pushing people away despite longing for the connection, and longing for the person themselves. I could sense the awkwardness and tension behind Kim's cold, nonchalance front that he put on while backing down from Chay implied all of these. Or maybe it's just me. I've prepared to be wrong.
=========================
So, will there be any reconciliation? At this point, I'm not so sure. Chay needs his time to process his acceptance of having his full plate. Confronting Kim again soon might have a reverse effect on this process. As for Kim, I couldn't imagine him not coming back to his family and taking the matters involving his family and the Kittisawasd's incident into his own hands than fully entrusting the case to his brother(s). Dealing with whatever (feelings) he has for Chay right now will only distract him more than support his mission.
Yes, I wanted Kim to apologize to Chay. Yes, I wanted Chay to not too easily forgive Kim. Yes, I wanted the older brothers to give Kim a hard time for hurting Chay, and I wanted them to defend Chay with all their might. But I don't think that's how their dynamics work. There are 'works' to be done in their respective space before any apology and forgiveness could meet. And I will stop here.
=========================
KP consistently provides us with layered and complex characters, including Kim and Chay. Trying to empathize with each of them within their given bubble gave me a sense of understanding of why they behaved or reacted in certain ways. This is not to justify any wrongdoings from real-life perspectives, no matter how lightly it seems. It's more to understand how these imperfect characters within this fictional boundary will be played back into the show's central themes: a story of romance and crime in a mafia setting. And please remember (not to spoil any fun, but it's proven through the episodes): plot twists do happen.
Kim and Chay might be the least favorite pairing at this point, but I can't help letting these pent-up feels out of my chest. Of course, I had no intention to go this long, but now they were all out, I am relieved. For my possible incoherence, please do let me know if there're somethings that I might miss to pick up from the dynamics of this pairing.

Maybe it’s a bit far stretched but here’s a thought on Kim's scene (ep. 13) :
Up until now, aside his times with Porchay, every time we saw Kim he was investigating something (aka Kimlock Holmes). With all his photos, theories and hypothesis, connecting A to B, coming to conclusions, …
And then we have this scene. Kim with Porchay photos. Kim remembering all the times he spent with Porchay. Kim remembering what he felt during those times. Connecting, like he always do, all of the facts he has in front of him. Kim coming to a conclusion. Kim realising he’s in love. Kim realising he’s in love for quite a while now. Kim realising how badly he fucked up.
He processed his feelings the same way he would have process an investigation.

Episode 14 Speculation
So.... I’ve been thinking about the final episode of KinnPorsche (because honestly, what else are we meant to do for the next week?) and how the big shootout is going to go.
Now, Vegas has an emotional connection to Pete, pretty much insinuated to his father that he doesn't want to be his son anymore (because of how he treats him), teamed up with Porsche (yes, Pete was a very big factor for this) but he teamed up with him nevertheless and didn't abandon him when Kinn and Pete turned up and actively called out to him with worry when the Uncle was shot, and in fact defended Kinn not once but twice to Porsche!
Because of this, I am finding it hard to believe Vegas would willingly turn up at the big battle on his father’s side and start shooting at the Main Family when he has the aforementioned reasons to want to protect them? Also, I noticed this:
Tumblr media
Both Vegas and Porsche have big ass guns with what I could make out as red laser thingybobbies attached to them.
Tumblr media
(Porsche’s BigassGun also has a sniper thing to look through)
BUT ... B-U-T-
Don't they look very similar - almost like Porsche and Vegas aren't enemies in this shootout but allies and Vegas/Porsche supplied the weapons to each other to go get their men and protect them?
Tumblr media
Also, is this Vegas? I assume so because his gun has that red laser thing and because I’d recognize that beauty from a mile off. Doesn't exactly look like he’s trying to shoot Kinn/Porsche and when KP is doing their gun/tango thing, Porsche doesn't point his gun in Vegas’s direction?
Because by this point, Porsche and Vegas aren't on the main family’s side/second family’s side, they’re on Kinn/Pete’s side?
Please tell me I have a chance of being right because I realllllly want the younger generation to team up and put the oldies in their place!

Ok meta time
1.
In ep 2 when porsche said maybe vegas was looking at pete why did pete smile like that?
I keep thinking about it. Like he knows what a ruthless guy vegas is so why would pete be happy that Vegas noticed him. Maybe his subconscious self liked him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2.
In ep 6. While following vegas he says he would definitely do a better job than vegas' bodyguard. I first thought it as him just being proud of his *nonexistent* skills. But look at that damn smile. He definitely imagined himself as vegas' bodyguard.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3.
Why would vegas choose to go to a fucking sermon? He isn't religious at all. Maybe he noticed pete praying to his mother's shrine and so he wanted to approach pete in a environment he's familiar with. This seems like dom behavior @lutawolf I'm asking your opinion on this.
And then the butt grabbing. It's just vegas way of making a move.
Tumblr media
In conclusion
Both of them wanted to fuck each other but their duties got in the way.

just some Things™ I need to say about the ending scene that have been driving me crazy (that I haven't rly seen mentioned yet)
mile's goddamn face after he cages porsche against the mirror - man, this dude can act. how each emotion expresses so painfully true with every shift of his features. he shows kinn's pain and fear, his regret and guilt and frustration with himself, his plea to porsche - all of it, without even showing us most of his face. It was all so well done. nothing even needed to be said, just those two words sold the agony and tenderness in the scene perfectly
the moment shared after porsche turns around as they face each other. kinn looks practically reverent staring at porsche, and porsche, yee gods that face. just stab me in the heart
how porsche's hands cup kinn's face when he undoes porsche's fly. the gentleness in his touch as he cradles kinn's head, almost like he's comforting him, it makes the horniness sweet, goddamn
kinn saying porsche's name twice - he whispers it like a warning, like a plea, as he's grabbing the back of porsche's neck. it shows just what porsche does to him, so easily, so fast
their shared smiles I can't even begin to-
mile makes some porno noises in this scene, but apo is just as bad. After watching for the nth time I've discerned when we hear porsche's moans amongst kinn's breathy gasps. he sounds breathless, his voice rough and he moans long and drawn out, a low rumble under his breath. and he fucking does it as he pulls kinn in closer when they embrace at the end. gah. it kills me

Macau and Chay = murder besties
Correct me if I'm wrong but I've yet to read a fic with Macau and Chay deciding to murder Korn.
(Which is why I'm currently writing this one shot.)
Chay and Macau have the greatest motivation, after canon, to get the job done.
For Chay : Korn is the root of all his current problems - from his mom being imprisoned/held hostage, his brother being in the mafia, Kim being... well... Kim. I also think Chay would empathize with Tankhun and take on the anger of Tankhun never getting the help he needs after his kidnapping.
For Macau : I'd say it's less about Korn killing his father and more about Korn taking away his brother's birthright aka the minor family. By extension, I could see Korn's hand in having Vegas shot (with the intention of killing him). Macau isn't shown enough in canon but given Vegas' intelligence, it's not far off to imagine he'd be smart and able to figure this out.
Everyone else seems too close to the source - Kinn, Vegas, Porsche, Kim, Tankhun, Pete.
Kim doesn't have the resources at his disposal - he doesn't have enough ties with his family. Kinn is a daddy's boy and very much under Korn's thumb. Porsche is scared for his mother. Vegas? Too injured/recovering. And lack of resources, similar to Kim. Tankhun might be the closest possibility but there's not much in canon to justify him being pissed enough to murder his own father. Pete might do it as well but he has a lot to risk if things go badly.
Chay doesn't have much to lose anymore. He's lost Kim, he's practically lost his brother, and his mother doesn't mean much to him. Macau, on the other hand, would do it to protect. He'd want Vegas and Pete to have their happy ending, after all that happened with their father, and he knows Korn is the one person that can threaten their peace.
Chay and Macau are used to being underestimated, which is why they're the perfect choice.

Kinnporsche is great, 10/10, would recommend. Emotional rollercoaster.
Kinn and Porsche are idiots; Thankhun - the best, everyone's mood, the sane one in this family; Vegas and Pete? Somehow they managed to break each other. I don't know how, don't even ask me. I am surprised too, but good for them? I guess?; Kim has all the brain cells (minus 2. Big and Pete share them. Well, shared). i think he is adopted. Porchay a little confused, but he got the spirit.
Now I will have to go back to reality. Damn. I need the book.

rewatching the episodes and now I’m even more convinced that Pol is only allowed to keep his job because he’s actually employed as a friend. He’s not even trusted to regularly carry a gun it seems.
Tumblr media
Like my guy please what is this 😂 what are you doing 😂 how is that helping 😂 why don’t you have a gun like everyone else?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Absolutely zero danger awareness. Doesn’t dodge any of it. Highly trained bodyguard where?
Tumblr media
Best friend vibes only. Look at that snuggle.

Spoiler alert - KP Ep 11
This show is giving me whiplash,
from flinching at Pete’s scenes
to thinking how hot his tattoo (and Bible’s english is)
to going awwww at sweet cuddles and how Kinn is so sharp
to laughing at how Korn and Khun doubleteamed his confession and how Khun looked over the moon and Korn looked so done
to thinking how the main family needs to hire more bodyguards when these bunch are aunties in a market
to thinking how Korn is bipolar
to hiding my face at more torture
to thinking how gorgeous Tay looked when drinking with buddies
to even more torture
to being proud that I was right on how Pete would know how to free himself
to once again being amazed how Kim needed 2 tasers to bring him down
to thinking these people are idiots for asking Porsche to choose Kinn’s new bodyguards - he basically found a circus troop instead
to cursing at another pool scene (they’re just playing us now)
to me wanting to punch Kan for slapping Vegas
to hell yes at Khun adopting Chay as a new project
to me thinking awww when Vegas patched up Pete
to thinking well Pete must be rethinking the whole “you only kiss people you like” - they could be feeding you medicine too
to thinking Pete was really deep during the HTHT (and how VP are like light and darkness - with their similar backgrounds)
to me wanting to punch Kim in the face
to freaking “turbulence”
to laughing at the ramen scene
to thinking how sweet VP seems
all in 54:58 minutes
p.s. who is that gangster in the trailer - dude looks familiar and OMFG VP

My opinion on VegasPete's development in the series
                                        ⚠️ Novel spoilers ⚠️
I'm going to be really honest here...
I'm really disappointed in the way they developed VegasPete story on the show. Of course, in terms of the torture and the sex, I liked the series version a lot more, without a doubt, but the rest of their story... all the development was lacking!!
Anyone who hasn't read the novel will think that their relationship is totally focused on torture, daddy issues, sex, choking and suddenly they're in love??!!
It doesn't make any sense, where are the crucial moments in the novel that made the two of them get closer? Where's the scene where they see the movie "Coco" hugging each other? (I WAS DYING TO SEE THIS SCENE THE MOST) Where's the scene with Pete helping Vegas with his reports and Vegas patting his head?? Where’s the sweet kiss they had in the bathroom?  Where is the scene where Vegas shaves Pete’s beard? Them eating together and Pete making Vegas eat spicy food even though he doesnt like it??!! okay im gonna stop or i will start crying
Another very important thing they took away was that when Vegas loves, he's never able to hurt that person and all of a sudden they have him grabbing Pete's neck and threatening to kill him again??! it just didnt make any sense at that point.
They took away a lot of important stuff from the novel and totally screwed up on the development of their love and I'm really disappointed. When I saw that their story started so late in the series, I already expected that they wouldn't put everything but I had hopes that they would at least put scenes that in the novel are crucial to their story.
But I want to point out that even though I don't like how their story is being represented, I have to congratulate Build and Bible because they are doing an amazing job representing VegasPete and I can't imagine anyone else doing that so well except them.
Anyways... this is my opinion and I want to know yours! Tell me what are you thinking about their story?

Since Korn came by to visit Porsche's family, did he ever take his sons with him? Have Kinn and Porsche met before when they were kids? Has Tankhun been at Porsche's house? Have any of them? Maybe Namphueng was on good terms with Korn and Gun's wives, did she ever come to visit them at the manors? See their children? Has Vegas played with Porsche? Has Porsche held Kim? Did Porsche's parents help raise the other kids? Did these families even intertwine at all or were they kept strictly separated? How much did these families see each other I need to know

The need to wear a white shirt with the word 'human' clearly spelled out tells Kim's desire to be heard. Because, unlike Pete, who can shout, "I'm a human. I have feelings." to Vegas, Kim doesn't really have anyone to pour whatever he had inside. He is the isolated one with a defensive wall now on the brinks of collapse.
Tumblr media
He carefully took all of those genuine feelings that Chay offered one by one. Like an addiction that he can't say no to, so Chay could eventually stop giving and prevent his heart from breaking. But no, Kim felt the need to have them all for himself safely tucked away in the corner of his heart. With no exchange in a similar sense, regardless of how much his heart is willing to give.
Tumblr media
+ Pairing-wise, KimChay might not be my ultimate ship. But character-wise, individually, they mean so much. Both are interesting characters with a level of complexity that speaks a lot to a part of me. I will be happy enough to have them sit together and talk their heart out by the end of this season. 🖤

i see ppl calling vegas a "consent king" and other similar stuff and here's my two cents: u can enjoy a piece of media/a character/character dynamic w/o trying to make it look moral and right . it's rlly ok ! erasing vegas' past as someone who didn't treat consent seriously before is not the best move . i don't get this whole obsession w trying to redeem vegas only bc the series showed his vulnerable and weak sides . like it's absolutely normal to be intrigued by a character bc they r so different from u ! that's natural to be fascinated by a dynamic such as vegaspete but y ignore the clear power imbalance (yes they have it even if pete consented) and try to moralize everything and erase vegas' past ? relatability/likability approach to media isn't the only one. they r a bit dead dove and they r both fucked up and complicated and it's interesting to watch
