I really enjoyed the first issue on the whole but Primal’s new characterization just bugs me. Not least, admittedly, because it makes me wary of what his dynamic with Dinobot will be like... Honestly, I have a similar concern about Rhinox and his dynamic with Rattrap, though Rhinox is less of a departure. I’m sure I’ll be able to get more into it as we get a better idea of what the character and relationship arcs will be like but for now, it’s a major disappointment.
