Entertainment Spotlight: Adam Huber, Dynasty

From drama to comedy, Adam Huber has quickly made a name for himself in the entertainment industry through the dynamic and charismatic characters he has brought to life on screen. You may know him as Liam Ridley from The CW’s Dynasty, and he’s guest starred on New Girl, The Good Place, Animal Kingdom, and more. When he isn't on set you can find Adam spending time with his girlfriend and their dogs, Cowboy and Danger. Adam took the time to answer some of our questions. Check it out:

If you had the funds of the Carringtons and the Colbys from Dynasty, what would you spend them on?

I would probably donate a lot of it to different charities. I would travel a lot. Probably buy a lot of property all over the world. Make sure my entire family is out of debt and financially comfortable. I honestly don’t know. I don’t have expensive taste. I’m not like an expensive clothes or fancy car kind of guy. I just like to travel and play golf and snowboard. Mainly I would just have proprieties with land for all my dogs.

What do you geek out about? 

Hmmmm... Really good movies or tv shows. Animals. Sunsets. Beautiful views like when you’re traveling. When the moon looks really cool. Pretty much anything golf related. 

If Dynasty could do a crossover with any other show, which one would you pick? 

Current show......”Better Call Saul”....past the “Brady Brunch”.

If you could take a masterclass on any subject, what would you learn and who would you want to teach you?

Cooking with Bobby Flay or Gordon Ramsay.

What type of scripts and characters are you drawn to?

To be honest I don’t know. My career I feel is just kind of now starting. But I like stuff that is a little more gritty and real. Like when you’re watching it you feel like you shouldn’t be there. Like you’re watching an actual moment in someone’s life. I love people that have had some real shit happen to them. A reason for fighting. A pain behind them. I love a good comedy though. Anything that can make you laugh and bring you joy and move you is a win in my book.

Which of the characters that you’ve played in the past do you think would get along best with the character you play on Dynasty?

I really haven’t played that many characters yet....so I would say that Trey from my Lifetime movie “The Killer Trainer” would get along with Liam best.  

What’s your favorite character arc or storyline on Dynasty? 

I love my Uncle Max’s arch. It was so much fun working with C. Thomas Howell. I love Sam Underwood’s “Adam Carrington” storyline. 

If Dynasty was a musical, what songs would be your character’s big number?

I don’t know, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” 

If you were to come up with an alternate title for Dynasty, what would it be?

Instead of “Dynasty” it would be “House of Lies”....that’s already done though.

Anything memorable about the story of how you got your role on Dynasty?

I was in Joshua Tree with my friends hiking. Drove 2 hours there. Said the F word during my audition. The casting director, Sandi Logan, (who I adore) asked me to please not use that word. I left thinking there’s another audition I didn’t get. Drove 4 hours in rush hour traffic back to Joshua Tree. Was in Mexico filming a beer commercial on the beach watching the sun go down when my phone rang. And it was the only service I got that whole trip. And it was my agent and manager telling me I booked the role of Liam on “Dynasty.” 20 some episodes later and they still can’t kill me off ;)

Skater, model, and now actor--in a movie called Cereal killer--Andrew is super talented and seems funny and sweet. He has a nice singing voice too! He was on the cover of Merciless for instance.

Rhett Wellington

Model and actor, he also seems funny and nice. He’s the life of a party if his pictures are any clue. I haven’t yet read a book with him on the cover, but I’ve been obsessed with Wish by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff since I received signed bookmarks from her, and now that the book is released, I bought a copy.

Grigorii Maltsev

I admit, he’s a bit of a mystery. Doesn’t post much on Instagram. He seems Russian, that’s all I can say. He’s on the covers of all Librarian’s vampire assistant books (like here).
