I felt with Sal so much. The feeling of not being good enough, not being able to live up to certain expectations. Although the expectations are more my own where Sal's is his father's.

Also can we all get a mirror to bring us to a different place? Please? I love the idea so much the chance to bring two people together who have to live up to very different but high expectations. Having each other open their eyes to how they are the right one's for their jobs while falling in love. I literally felt the comfort that both must feel for each other.

If you may not like it just read it for the art. The flowers everywhere and the flower arrangement at the end. Beautiful. Also yes please to dark skin characters while also being respectful about their culture. I have a few other reccomendation with intercultural/interracial relationships so look forward to them.
