Suggestion and Offer
In the second week of english lesson, we study Suggestion and offer. AT the introduction od this topic, I already got excited because it’s very important for me to transfer my sugggestion to people properly trhough orals or letters. So this is one of study that i expected very much.
There is three ways to express suggestion the first is asking suggestion, The example of asking suggestion are "Do you have any question?" or "Would you mind giving me your suggestion?". The second is giving suggestion you always have to use V1, the example are "You should study!" or "I suggest you to read this book". The last one is responding suggestion, there is two kind of responding suggestion they are accepting suggestion the example are  "Ok. Yes, let's"  and refusing suggestion the example are "No, let's not".
I hope now, bacause i have study thia topic, i can seggest prople and give them offers accorsing to my own thoughts properly.

This is a work of a random student who tried to make a good novel (or story at least). It may contain some bad grammar, cheesiness and could give you the feels(of boredom). This is fictional and based on topics we learned in English class. May it will help in any sort of way.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aleigh was never the type of person to run out of ideas. She always had her mind wandering all over the place when it comes to making stories, especially fanfictions. Actually, that was her specialty. Her love for making fanfictions was on top of her priority list. She would stay up until late at midnight just for the satisfaction of making it.
Dramione was her most famous fanfiction. She had thousands of viewers read her creation every single day, she controlled every action of her otp in her story and made uncountable viewers spread the feels of joy and sadness at the same time. It was enjoyable and tiring, but was very worth.
Now, she’s sitting alone at her school bench, waiting for her inspirations to come but never did. Aleigh just sat there, frustrated , not to mention the couple that was sitting a bench away from her being too attached to each other that made her struggle to concentrate.
“Hey sociopath, why so gloomy?”
Aleigh looked up to a pair of curious eyes that twinkled in the bright sunlight. She squinted her eyes to see that the one who was talking was her friend, Isla.
“Well, same as always. Struggling on how Draco should confess to Hermione about his feelings.”
Isla rolled her eyes and sat down beside Aleigh, “How fascinating, why did I even asked? Anyways, enough about the fanfic, are you doing anything tonight?”
Aleigh thought for a moment, “Not exactly. Just going to stay in my room and hibernate for a long period of time. Perhaps, continue my typing between those hours. Why?”
“Let’s do something tonight! You know, like a girl’s night out. I’m super free and bored so I thought that we should do something fun.”
“How many people are gonna be there?”
“Only the two of us. What do you think?” Isla said, her voice full of hope.
“I don’t know…”
“We could watch Netflix at my house.”
“I can’t leave my fanfic alone. I feel like I’ve done a crime when I don’t continue Dramione.”
“What about watching Netflix and type as well? You could bring your laptop with you, but don’t go too deep into your typing though. I hate it when you do that, the movie is less exciting than it’s supposed to be.”
“Agreed,” Aleigh said smiling.
“Good. One more thing, we might want to leave now. They look like they could take it to the next level and it might not be a good scene to look at.”
Aleigh looked at the couple at the other bench passionately kissing with each other like hungry animals. Aleigh shuddered and stood up.
“Let’s.”

Week 2
On the second week of English class, I wasn’t there often because I was busy doing my job as KPU for the student council. It is actually useful joining the KPU because I could fill it on my CV when I need it. I was responsible for documenting the process of the student council election. I documented the student council debate, the voting, and documenting the process of counting the votes of student council.
I only joined English class once on the second week, which is on Thursday. It should be twice in one week, on Wednesday and on Thursday. All I remembered was that I learnt about suggestion and offer on the second week.
Ms. Fajri had a presentation and explained to us about it. We tried to make sentences about suggestion and about offer. I learnt that suggestion is used when we are giving advice to someone, while offer is used when we are offering something or offering help for someone.
My teacher gave us a project; we were divided into groups, which consists of about 4 people. With the group we did a project, making a display about the subject, which contains the examples of them. We were also asked to present the display in front of the class.
On this week, it wasn’t that hectic. It went good and fine. I didn’t remember that much of that weekend.

Suggestion and Offer
This was the second week of english lesson, and we learned about suggestion and offer. We have english lesson with Bu Fajri every Wednesday noon and Thursday morning. That day, on Wednesday, where we had our third meeting, I felt so lazy because I just had lunch and was feeling very sleepy, so I didn’t manage to study properly. I did some studies at home, though. Here are what I’ve got from studying suggestion and offer:
- Suggestion is defined as an expression of giving an idea for someone to do something, in which we can give, accept, or refuse the suggestion.
- Offer is defined as an expression of willingness to do something, in which we can give, accept or refuse the offer.
There are some types of way to give a suggestion. It’s either by giving it with ‘could’, ‘let's’, ‘why don't’, or ‘shall’.
- Could is sometimes used for giving a suggestion towards one. E.g. You could talk with her.
- Let’s is used for giving a suggestion for ‘us’ (for a group in which you also contributed in.) e.g Let’s watch the movie tomorrow.
- Why don’t is used to refuse an idea, but is expressed as giving a suggestion for the better choice, to give more polite and friendly effect. E.g. Why don’t we go tomorrow since I have some assignments to do?
- Shall is used to ask for an agreement of ones by giving a suggestion. E.g. Shall I open the door?
We can respond to a suggestion by either accepting it or refusing it. Some expressions of accepting a suggestion are, for example, “Yes, I would like to.” “Okay, let’s go.”. The expressions of refusing it are, for example, “Let’s not.” “I can’t.”
Giving an offer can be formal or informal. Formal offers use polite word and register (would, could, shall, etc.) e.g. “Would you like to..?”. While the informal ones use more friendly register, e.g. “Won’t you go to my house?”
Responding an offer is almost the same as suggestion, we can either accept it or refuse it. Accepting an offer can use a phrase like, “Yes, thank you.” And refusing an offer can use, “No, thanks.”
Those are what I have learnt about suggestion and offer. I hope by learning this, I can understand about it thoroughly and use it in such a proper way.

I should’ve done this by now
November 01, 2015
This is my English assignment, well it used to be when we thought the teacher already have forgotten it by now, but naah she just waiting for us at the edge of the room facing the window while grooming a cat like that cliché villain scene. Well here we are making a weekly blog about our day in school or just our day in general. Be warned there will be English education related topics that I NEED to fill in just because we have to. So exciting isn't my first ever blog... this will not go well for me.
Someday in the past
I will start with my first day at the edge of my chair waiting the school bell to ring almost in every session, because I haven't found any interest on those topics YET. Well yeah I learned stuff, just enough for me to not get totally lost in the situation, but not enough for me to understand fully what's being questioned.
WARNING: SCHOOL CONTENT
It was the second week of grade 11, and we were learning SUGGESTION AND OFFER. I know English is easy for us that have been on the internet for a long time especially when you watched YouTube videos or reading a Blog, etc.. But what I learned today is suggestion can come in a various of ways, like how we suggests to how we answer those suggestions. Same with offers for me those two is similar, like before this I may not know the differences, but there are.. and a lot
Well that's enough for my English teaching, oh yeah and class was eh fun because I like how the situation is just THAT... nothing more and nothing less. The rest of the day was just EH... again nothing more and nothing less, I guess that's my life in a nutshell (Nothing more and Nothing less). I hope it can changed, well we all hope for the better. Rest of the week has been kinda the same old stuff and on weekends maybe I watched a movie or something.
November 01, 2015
That's it for that week, its all a blur in my head but what can you do, I SHOULD’VE DONE THIS BY NOW.

Week 2(suggestion and offer)
on this week (week 2) I was having the same classes as usual week. Physics, chemistry, english, and citizenship and the last but not leas, the most fun class on tuesday EXCUL!
But the english class was quite fun. We studied about suggestion and offer. Ate first I though suggestion and offer is just the same. But they actually not. Well not totaly different. From the information i got from my teacher about suggestion, suggestion has 3 types of expression: Giving, asking and responding suggestions.
when you’re giving a suggestion you may use: Ought, should, I suggest you to...and etc. When you’re asking people to give you suggestion, you can asked them like: Do you have any suggestion? can you tell me what should i do? or What am i suppose to do? or anything else.
But when your giving an offer there’s only formal and non-formal expression. The example of formal expression: Would you like something? or Should I get something for you? but when you say it in formal way it’s more comforatable like: You want me to get something? or maybe something more informal.
You know what tumblr? I thought this tuesday english class will be quite boring. But it’s not really that boring, now i know how to give people suggestions or offer. and that’s quite fun.

Hi there!
As an English assignment, I must write a blog post every 7 days to summarize the things I had done that week. So here you go, my first ever blog post. I hope you find my regular-and-not-so-interesting-life entertaining!
The first day of actual learning in school wasn't what I expected. I thought I would dread myself as I walk down the halls but it's exactly the opposite of what I thought it would be! For a Monday, school was fun. I mean it when I say fun because we started the day by learning physics- a subject that I can't seem to find the point of learning it up until now- in the morning- I am also not a morning person-.
In midweek, I was pretty caught up preparing for the upcoming election as i was in the KPUS, which stands for Komisi Pemilihan Umum Sekolah. It is basically a committee that is in charge of the election for the new student council. We learned about  suggestion and offer in english class. Phrases like “What do you think about....” and “Do you want to....” are often used during this lesson. I find it to be easy and this lesson somehow also teaches us about manners and being polite.
On Saturday, I went to Kelapa Gading for my piano lesson. For somebody who lives in Cibubur, Kelapa Gading is pretty far away. Although the distance might be an issue at times, I still take my piano lesson there because I have gotten so used to my teacher as I had been taking my piano lesson with her since the 2nd grade.
Overall, it was a normal week for me. Nothing particularly stands out in my week but it was a pretty good week afterall.
Catch me next time on the next week!

English Journal 19-08-2015
Hello everyone :). I’m Faris from 11S. Today I’m gonna tell you about the activities in English Class.
In English Class today, my class are playing the scoring game. The boys: @100 pts and the girls: @50 pts. So, I must find the pair (boys-girls) that Ms. Fajri said, Ex: 150 pts. So, I must find my pair (girl) that has 150 pts. As well as onwards. The game was fun.
After the game, I’m pairing with Vira. Ms. Fajri give us a task (including me and Vira) to write our problems then write the suggestions about the problems. Me and Vira write our problems in small color paper. After we write it, we find the problem, then we write the suggestion. Vira write the suggestion about the problem: the price of the food is unstable and I write the suggestion about the problem: the rules are not flexible. I write it on the blank paper. After we write the suggestions about our problem, we presented the suggestions about our problem.
After that, my class are playing games again, but this time, we played 1-7 game. So we count 1-7 but we must get fast and don’t lose our concentration. It was fun. Then at, 12 PM, I go to the MPH to have pray Dzuhur.
That was my journal for today and I hope you really like it. Thanks for all and byebye~

English Journal 11-08-2015
Hello everyone:). My name is Faris. I’m grade 11S. Today, I’m gonna tell you about the lesson in English Class.
In English Class today, I learn about Expression of Giving Suggetion/Offer.
Suggestion is an idea about what someone should do or how someone should behave. Expression of Suggestion divided into three: 1. Asking Suggestion 2. Giving Suggestion 3. Responding Suggestion
The first one is Asking Suggestion. There is a way to asking suggestion: Example: 1. Do you have any suggestions for me? 2. Would you mind giving me your suggestion? 3. Can you tell me what should I do? 4. What should I do?
The second one is Giving Suggestion. When you giving suggestion, you should add: 1. You could + V1 2. Let’s + V1 3. Why don’t you + V1 4. Shall I + V1 There is a way to giving suggestion: Example: 1. You could talk to your teacher 2. Let’s go to Disneyland Japan 3. Why don’t you come to the class on time? 4. Shall I open the window?
And the last one is Responding Suggestion. Responding Suggestion is divided into two: 1. Accepting Suggestion 2. Refusing Suggestion
The first one is Accepting Suggestion. The example are: 1. What a good idea 2. Yes, with pleasure 3. Yes, I’d like to, 4. That’s a good/nice/wonderful idea
And the last one is Refusing Suggestion. The example are: 1. No, I’d rather not 2. I don’t feel like it 3. It’s a bad idea 4. No, I don’t think so
Things to remember about suggestion: 1. The verb “suggest” can be followed by either: A. Should + Verb = I suggest (that) we should go to the theater B. A verb (in the subjunctive form) = I suggest (that) we go to the movies 2. “That” is optional: “I suggest that we should visit Paris.” “I suggest we should visit Paris.”
Offer (in English Language) is to propose or put forward for consideration. Expression of Offer divided into two: 1. Formal 2. Non Formal
The first one is formal. The example are: 1. Would you like something to…? 2. Would you like to….? 3. Could I offer you….? 4. Would you mind….? 5. Shall I get you….?
And the last one is non formal. The example are: 1. What can I get for you? 2. Won’t you have….? 3. Something? 4. Have some….? 5. Are you up for….?
After I learn the Expression of Giving Suggestion and Offer, I play games. I play how to arrange sentences & text into a good sentences and text with my group. After that, I am going to have pray Dzuhur in MPH.
That was my journal for today and I hope you enjoy it. Byebye…
