#The manga is kinda the best X incarnation
Text
A Pacifist’s Fury and Grief
The one of the things, I absolutely love about the Iwamoto manga, is the demostration of X’s grief and Fury in the wars.
This Fury was first shown to us in the final chapters of the X3 Manga
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Keep that in mind he never acted like this in the final chapters in the X1 and X2 Mangas. The way he acts like this shows that he’s at his limit. It doesn’t show it that often but fuck I love how it demonstrates, that he is not okay and how he views himself. How much he wants sigma dead so the wars can stop. He stopped him so the world is saved and everything is restoring itself so things are going to be okay!
Then the Replaforce mess happens and well…during a mission Blizzard Buffalo against Ice Walrus. Sacrificing himself to save X and look what happened…
Tumblr media
His friend died cause he was weak and helpless to stop walrus.
His mind and his heart where damaged convincing himself that…he needs to be stronger to stop this madness (Hi double for that speech 💥💥) going on a Rampage of grief and Fury. Going on a war path of destruction
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Enter the ultimate armor and if anyone read the manga knows what happens next…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
X was lost in the war that he nearly lost himself because of that grief and fury. To the point that he aims his weapon at Zero, his best friend. How his heart was so wounded from the battles that he nearly forgot who he was…thankfully he was reminded of his heart by General gently embracing him and sacrificing himself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Allowing himself to let go of his hatred and rage, and attempted to be better, embracing the blast. Cause of his heart that ultimate armor purifies it self.
Tumblr media
The Moral of the lesson here kids is to never invoke the Pacifist Fury.
Aka don’t piss of X or murk his loved ones.

Hey man! I’m interested in playing Guilty gear X/XX for the story, arcade endings and playing casually. Is there a specific version of both I can play that has all of the content/characters and arcade endings instead of playing all of them? (Also has there ever been a reason as to why the X games have complicated names (X,XX, Reload Accent Core, Plus, R) It’s one of those things that is a tad stupid but at the same time kinda awesome and cool as well! Thanks as always man! Keep on rocking bro!
If you just want a recap, you would do well to read Sumeragi's Manga.
But if you have plans on revisiting all the games strictly for the story, here's about what you might expect:
GGTML(GG1): Best bet is a Steam/PS4 version of the port.
GGXPlus: Has a story but it's Japanese and PS2 exclusive, you might want a PS2 emulator for this one.  Otherwise just read the GGX Script that Ed Chang wrote ages ago.
GGXX: I get the PS2 version simply because it has a prototype of Robo-Ky, otherwise, again PS2 emulation is your best bet.  This is the vanilla unpatched version of Reload, but it has the original Story Mode, but if you want to compare it with Reload, at least get the best version of Korean Reload (again PS2 emulation).
GGXXAccentCorePlusR: PC GGPO version is currently the best incarnation, it has Accent Core Plus' original story included, so you're not missing anything from earlier versions and you can even switch back to vanilla Accent Core Plus in the game's options.
GG2Overture: again, best version is on PC/Steam.  Story is tricky to clear, but if you're diligent you'll get a good experience.  The actual story is a bit different from the Manga adaptation, so keep that in mind.
GGVastEdge: Japanese iOS Pachislot game, only collectors would bother with this one, it barely has a story to speak of, and is strictly Japanese.  Not worth it if you ask me, even compared to GG2.  I wrote a summary of it a while ago, and Xrd Sign talks about it briefly anyhow.
GGXrdSign: Get it for the English Dub and the unique stages.  Get it for over-powered Bedman as well.  It has its own story and is different from Rev2 by a lot.  PC version is best, don't bother with the PS3 version, but PS4 if you can't find another way to get the game.
GGXrdRevelator/Rev2: Latest game in the series, do I need to tell you to get this?  PC version is probably the best incarnation.
GGStrive: Not out yet, but get the PC version anyway.
There's also three novels, 2 manga, and several drama CDs, they're mostly side content, so you don't really NEED to know them, but I have tags for each, read my GGTags tag.  There’s also Isuka, Judgement, and Dust Strikers, but those are side stories too.
As for why the games have their respective subtitle names... it's a reference to several bands and terminology in music.  Read the GG+Titles tag for more on that subject.

Prince of Tennis (2019) meme
Tagged by @hardworkingprocrastinator - Thank youuuu~! :D
You already tagged all the POT blogs that I reblog all the time, so I’m just gonna say that I look forward to reading everyone’s answers, haha!
1. Favorite character(s)? Tezuka
2. Favorite school team(s)? Seigaku, Fudomine (during my first watch over a decade ago, they were my #1 fav, LOL
3. Favorite coach(es)? Ryuzaki-sensei
4. Favorite supporting cast member(s)? Hmmmmm. None, I guess? I don’t mind Nanjiroh but I kind of fast-forward through his bits, LOL.
5. Favorite original character(s) in the adaptation? Tezuka, always, in every incarnation
6. Who do you think enacted their role best?
All of them were 100%, TBH. At first I was skeptical when I saw the first scene with all the regulars walking towards the camera because some were so dissimilar in looks from their anime counterparts that I couldn’t tell who was who. But then they started talking/acting and I realized that they were perfect for their roles. The ones I was most skeptical about were Momo, Fuji, and Oishi, just because their hairstyles were different from the anime and I couldn’t figure out who they were. But THEN they started talking and I was like... okay. Shut up, these guys are perfect. XD
I do feel like some of the rival schools could have had actors who were a better physical fit: Sanada and Tachibana should have both been taller, just because they’re such imposing characters, and watching Kamio dwarf/idolize Kippei was kinda funny at first... but I’m torn because the actor for Kippei especially brought such a different side to the character that I really enjoyed, and I actually like this different-but-same version of him in the C-drama. Just wish he was taller. XD
7. Favorite singles match?
Tezuka vs. Ryoma, even though it’s not an official match. They were my favorite ship back in the day because there were always so god damned dramatic, but there was also a squick factor for me (even though I was a teen at the time), because of the visuals (i.e. Ryoma looks too young, Tezuka looks too old, etc.) Anyway, I was really pleased when the C-drama moved them all up to high school, and that Ryoma didn’t look so young anymore. (When I found out that his actor was OLDER than Tezuka’s actor, I ~cackled).
But yeah, I love the original anime’s secret match scene a whole lot, but the C-drama really nailed it out of the park for me. I’m never gonna forget that they took a scene that was barely there in the manga, improved it from the anime, and just perfected it through and through. A+++ Pillar Pair content!
8. Favorite doubles match?
Funny enough, I enjoyed the Fuji and Kawamura match with Fudomine! I barely noticed this one from the anime, but I really like how it played out in the C-drama. Kawamura and Fuji’s actors were on point here, and of all the awesome GP matches, somehow, this little doubles match is the one that hit me the hardest.
9. Favorite story arc?
I liked the bonding training thing on the mountain, if only because it felt like new content. I don’t remember much of the anime’s filler eps anymore so I don’t remember if it was there, but it felt new when I watched it, and it was hilarious. XD
10. Most amusing tenipuri scene(s)/moment(s)/running joke(s)?
INUI JUICE. Not even Tezuka is impervious!
11. What did you like most about the adaptation?
The actors, the polish of the effects, and the tightening of certain plots. Because there have been so many adaptations, they had so much to work with and could build on past interpretations. Of all the POT things I have watched, this felt the most polished. The cast was also perfectly chosen, and because POT is a LOT of character drama/interactions, it was so important that the actors worked well... and they DID. It’s like someone took my favorite anime from my teen years and made it into the perfect LA show, honestly. I can’t see any way to improve it (and this comes from someone who is not a fan of Ryoma x Sakuno: it says a lot that I didn’t even mind her in the C-drama).
12. What do you think the adaptation could have improved on?
Aside from some superficial stuff like the height of certain actors, none!
13. Any other thoughts you want to share?
Thanks for tagging me, thinking about POT was a lot of fun!

Fanfic meme (or my opinions about some fanfic tropes)
Thanks to @flo-nelja, I lost like one hour and half to do this post, you know my weakness for long ass meme. ❤️ on you, it was pretty entertaining.
So...let’s go
1. Slowburn or Love at First Sight: I’m never satisfied with the slow burn I read (or write, for what it's worth). Theorically I prefer slow burn, but it’s never slow enough, or BURN enough. I mean, for me, the slow burn involves some pining/longing, like they are accointances, then friends, then PINING/LONGING happens, then lovers. Probably the reason I love one sided love, because the feelings have time to grow, there is the pining/longing, with a pinch of angst ?
aNyWaY I love a Love at first sight too, I don’t like it in rom-com, because it’s often without any background, but in fanfic, when you know the characters, you have implicitely the background, so it feels like fate they will be together, because you went to read this fic for your OTP, so it feels right they fall in love at first sight, because you know they are good together (even if they don’t know it yet in the fanfiction). Again, it’s the reason I love soulmate au.
Tumblr media
2. Fake Dating or Secretly Dating: It’s the last one I answered because it needs lof of thinking. Fake or secretly dating ? Hmmmm. I’m not often interested by the “dating” part, and more in the “feelings realization” and all the “confession part”. So Fake dating, I guess ? Like, they start dating and fall in love after ? And it can be funny, like quiproquo and clumsiness ?
Tumblr media
3. Enemies to Lovers or Best Friends to Lovers: love shipping rivals and antagonistic relationships
4. “Oh no, there’s Only One Bed” or Long Distance Correspondence: I’m a pure victorian bitch
5. Hurt/Comfort or Amnesia
6. Fantasy AU or Modern AU
7. Mutual Pining or Domestic Bliss: Domestic is boring to me
8. Smut or Fluff: Not a big fan of fluff. I like some cheesy tropes (like Love at First Sight) but I’m tired really quick of fluff, so it needs to be a fic with other elements. And not tooth-rooting fluff.
9. Canon-Compliant/Missing Scenes or Fix-It
10. Alternate Universe or Future Fic: love the AUs. ALL THE FUCKING SUPER WEIRD AUs !!!
11. One Shot or Multi-chapter: It’s very rare a fic manages to stay good (like , interesting and/or coherent with the canon) during a long time, so if the fanfic is 34 chapters, for me, it’s a repellant, because it probably means the chapters are meaningless or the author loses themselves in their universe and forgot totally the canon. In my opinion, a good fanfic (I mean, ideally) has like 3 or 4 chapters, 1000 words at least for each one. So, I love one shot, it’s less risky to be disappointed.
Tumblr media
12. Kid Fic or Road trip Fic: I deeply hate kid fic, omg, I hate it with my guts, for me it’s the incarnation of the patriarcal and heterocentric injonctions
13. Reincarnation or Character Death: Again, I hate character death (I mean, major character death - except if it’s canon ?)
14. Arranged Marriage or Accidental Marriage or NEITHER: Hmmmmm I didn’t read a lot of “accidental marriage”. I’m not really fan of “arranged marriage” neither.
In fact, I recently read a Reddie fanfic (1000 nights), it was in Las Vegas, Richie and Eddie were...plastered and Eddie pushed Richie in the chapel of a casino and they got married by a drag queen priest. Does it still count like an Accidental Marriage ? Because it was pretty funny.
Tumblr media
15. High School Romance or Middle-Aged Romance: I feel so old when I read High School Romance fanfiction lol but even when I was 16 I didn’t like it. I like the characters in their own age, so SOMETIMES they are in high school but...hmmm it’s rare I read fanfiction taking place IN a school, it feels weird and more, it feels boring, because school is almost the same for everyone, I mean it’s a totes cliché genre. Also I don’t really like to imagine these fantasy characters becoming boring teenagers with boring occupations, sorry not sorry (but it’s the same with College AU, guys, I will kill someone if I see another art student pining for the annoying fratboy)
(I still read highschool BL mangas btw)
Tumblr media
16. Time Travel or Isolated Together: Time travel give me headache. OH GOD I HAVE ONE RIGHT NOW !
17. Neighbours or Roommates
18. Sci Fi AU or Magic AU: aaaah a good supernatural au, like vampire au, werewolves au, demon/angel au, fairy tale au, hpverse au, incubus au or any other ideas. I love how it’s creative, I love how it can be super original, I love the potential in these idea, because magic AUs are very rich in themes, you can play on the medieval fantasy genre, the urban fantasy, the alternative timeline or the past (like victorian vampire AU 👌)
Tumblr media
19. Body swap or Gender change: I don’t like Gender change anymore because first, gender is a spectrum, these fanfics are about binary genders, it’s a little bit cringy (but it’s not the real factor I don’t like it), second, (the real reason), it’s often male characters becoming female, and it often to make it “femslash”, so the femslash tags are FULL of gender bending stuffs about male characters, and not actual real femslash with the female characters, it...erases femslash and even if I’m not a reader of femslash, I think it’s sad, because it deserves its own space in the fandom, not everything has to be about the male characters (even the ones I love a lot).
You can say it’s more a choice driven by my opinions and not my preferences, but it’s kinda the same thing isn’t it ?
Tumblr media
20. Angst or Crack: Dude, it’s not a hard choice because I don’t really like crack in fanfic. I like it in fanarts, but you take more times to read a fanfic, and I don’t like crack during a long time. Crack is more a thing you enjoy quickly, it’s something who make you smile for a second then you scroll (or share it if it’s really funny or inventive). But crack in fanfic, it’s like a too long joke.
I don’t talk about crack ships, because crack ships can be interesting. Sometimes, I don’t see WHY you ship it (like Gavin x RK900 in Detroit: become human, or Lestrade x Mycroft in Sherlock BBC), sometimes I TOTALLY see it, but it still fun to see the explanations to put them together, the meta, the fan theories...
In the other hand, about angst...I like the drama, I like the horror genre (if you know my blog, you know I’m currently in the IT fandom, you know, the eating-kids clown thing), I like tears and blood, but...when it’s too much, it’s too much. I don’t like...I don’t know explain it : sometimes, you feel like the author had to get out some dark things they feel, it’s therapeutic for them but you feel kinda uneasy to read it, because it’s so DARK, man, it’s not even about the canon, it’s all about the writer’s feelings, and really, it’s okay, myself, I happen to cope like that. But as a reader, I don’t like it.
So I like some angst, when i’m in the mood, but it needs to have positive things in it too. Or to be short.
Tumblr media
21. Apocalyptic or Mundane: At first, I chose Mundane, but now I ask myself. I like the post apo genre, but I don’t like angst too much, like I said in the previous question.. But I still like it a little so...hmmmm it’s tricky. What is meaning mundane, by the way ? Mundane Lord of the Rings fanfiction, what is it ? What is MUNDANE in kids learning to fight with their quirks in a superheroes school ?
I will chose Apocalyptic because I love a good survival (and they have to cuddle to stay warm and save each other and cry by thinking the other is dead but in fact they are not and find a way to cure the zombie plague/find a safe place/kill the aliens XD)
Tumblr media
Now, the tagging part (sorry if you were tagged by someone else, and of course feel free to ignore it if you are not interested : @calimera62, @wilwywaylan aaaaand....I don’t know fucking people on this hellsite anymore. Maybe @sleeping-potatoe ?

Fall Anime 2018 Watchlist
We’re about halfway into the season so this is probably kinda pointless by now, but here’s a quick rundown of the stuff I’m watching this season.
Dropped
Jingaisan no Yome: This is a 3 minute show and I won’t spend longer than that writing about it (I’m timing myself). I didn’t know it was a short going in. I’m not really into shorts, Saiki kun being the only exception and the story was less MahoYome and more... i don’t even have an apt comparison, it just was maybe more serious about the “marriage” thing than something with a giant floofball character should be.
Tokyo Ghoul: Re 2: It’s simple. I watched episode 1 and realized I had no fucking clue of how any of this related to the ending of the first season, no idea of who half the characters were and where did they allegiances lie and what is Kaneki even trying to do. Although not loyal to the manga, the first two seasons of Tokyo Ghoul had a story that could be followed and made sense, this, however, is just jumping over plot points with no rhyme or reason and there’s nothing but confusion.
Bloom Into You: There’s nothing actually wrong with this show and I was kind of looking forward to a yuri romance that wasn’t rapey or incesty bullshit, but something about this one just didn’t click with me. Like Touko fell in love with Yuu too quickly, and given Yuu’s ace/aro identity, it would feel weird for her to do a 180 and suddenly fall in love with Touko. I kind of want more fun and emotions in my romance stories and this one didn’t have much of either.
Chopping Block
Given a few things the past two weeks that didn’t go according to plan, I fell behind on my anime watching after keeping it in control for the first third of the season and i’m quite annoyed. And because of this, and my upcoming research trip to Japan at the end of the month, I might end up having to drop a couple of series.
Bakumatsu: Objectively speaking, this show is really bad. The production values are poop, the story is a wacky mess that takes itself a bit too seriously and the characters are flat and uninteresting, the villain is egregiously boring. This show also has Matsuo Basho as a secret tive traveling ninja, and that puts me at quite the predicament. I want to see more of this utterly bonkers historical reinterpretation, but boy do I wish they could make it more exciting.
Tumblr media
SAO Alicization:  The only reason I, a notorious SAO hater, is watching SAO is because I hate myself. With that out of the way, boy is this SAO boring. We’re four episodes in and the only thing that’s happened is they cut an old tree because nothing can stop Kirito and his new friend, Yellow Kirito. This show needs to start getting offensive and/or stupid soon or i’ll die of boredom.
Tumblr media
Karakuri Circus: I hear this one’s from the same mangaka as UshiTora? I love UshiTora and I can see the resemblance between giant guy whose name I can’t remember and Tora. His character and his schtick are so far the most interesting thing to me, with the kuudere puppet girl whose main purpose seems to be to get paired with him  having yet to make an impression on me. I’m also still not really certain what the overall plot is. I do love stories about found families, so hopefully I can stick with this one
Tumblr media
Hinomaru Sumou: If my watching schedule were normal, this wouldn’t be in this section. Whilst not the best sports show of the season, and chock full of some of the most eyeroll worthy aspects of sports shonen *cough cough* toxic *cough cough* masculinity *cough cough*, Hinomaru Sumou has the fire and passion for an underrepresented sport that’s usually enough to hook me. I just don’t have time, and if push comes to shove, I’ll prioritize other shows over this one.
Tumblr media
Banana Fish: Yo, okay, before you lynch me for being a hater or whatever, let me tell you I have zero issues with Banana Fish. I don’t hate it, I don’t think it’s Bad Representation(TM) whatever the fuck that means, I definitely don’t think it’s fujobait or just another BL. It just doesn’t make me happy. This probably doesn’t make a lot of sense, but I’ve never been a fan of tragedy. It’s also part of the reason I’m dropping Tokyo Ghoul. I don’t like hopeless stories and tragic romances. I’m somewhat spoiled on how the manga ends and each time I find myself less and less inclined to watch the newer episodes because the descent into misery is just not enjoyable for me. It’s not the show’s wrongdoing, it’s just not the kind of story I like. I’m probably too far along to drop it at this point, but also I kinda wish I could drop it because I get so little joy out of it. Also, my main hook is of course Ash and Eiji’s relationship, but 15 episodes in (I’m behind, as is evident) the time they’ve spent together is so minimal, I can’t even appreciate that a whole lot.
Tumblr media
I guess I’m watching this?
Dakaichi: Me: Man I really want a yuri anime without rapey bullshit. Also me: watches BL anime with rapey bullshit. I have literally no excuse. I think the basic setup lends itself really well for a romcom and Takato is a very likable character, it’s a shame it’s the same old rapey bullshit. In my defense, episode two was really sweet and I’ve been hoping for more stories along that line, even though the show has failed to deliver them since. Episode 5 may have pushed the line even beyond what I’m willing to tolerate, but it’s unclear. I might end up unexpectedly dropping it after episode 6. HEY JAPAN WOULD IT KILL YOU TO MAKE A BL ANIME THAT WASN’T RAPEY BULLSHIT? JUST ONE?
Tumblr media
(honestly, Takato deserves better)
wao episode 6 was maji disgusting i might drop it after all
Fairy Tail Final: I just want closure man. This adaptation retains all the worst attributes of the previous season, terribly slow pacing (what for?! the manga is over!!) minimal animation, recapalooza. The color palette is slightly brighter than before, which I appreciate. Fairy Tail’s last arc wasn’t as bad as Bleach’s, but it was still pretty bad in the manga; still I hope seeing it animated will make it feel less messy and slightly more coherent. The FT anime has also in the past filled in some blanks that existed in the manga, so hopefully they can make the best out of it here.
Tumblr media
(Erza is still my wife)
Tsurune: No, this isn’t the best sports anime of this season either. Although that’s hard to judge given how it’s barely on its second (third, i’m behind) episode. Technically, I feel more compelled to drop this than Hinomaru, but also I want to give it a fair chance. That said, the first episode was.... profoundly underwhelming and borderline upsetting, with how everyone put Minato on the spot in spite of his having an actual psychologic condition that drove him away from kyudo. I’m all in for stories about growing and surpassing your own obstacles, but I hope they go about it in a less mean-spirited way. Also, the characters feel pretty shallow so far. I’m not even gonna pretend the main reason I want to keep watching isn’t gorgeous guy with the ponytail-san, because I’m now old enough that I immediately gravitate towards the senseis rather than the teenage protags.
Tumblr media
i am so weak to long hair  _(:3」∠)_
welp he cut his hair right next episode, thanks for nothing kyoani
In spite of everything, Anime is, in fact, Good
Golden Kamuy: Like with many split-cours, there’s nothing much to say beyond “if you liked the first one, you’ll like this one”. The production values are still tragic, but I think the pace has improved, and the dynamics between the different factions are so fluid and constantly changing they make the story very enthralling. It also continues to have the Best Reaction Faces.
Tumblr media
Gakuen Basara: Listen, listen. You all knew I was gonna watch this. And I love Basara so much I still think this show is a masterpiece even when it’s objectively atrocious. I do not reccommend it to anyone who isn’t already a fan (and I mean a blind fan willing to consume anything from this franchise, even in its cheapest, dumbest, worst looking incarnation). That said there are a couple of interesting things, namely the power rivalry between Hideyoshi and Nobunaga, this never happened in the original series because Nobunaga died before Hideyoshi was introduced. Anyway, just shoot that Masamune x Kojuuro fanservice straight into my veins please and thank you
Tumblr media
Zombieland Saga: One of the two biggest surprises of the season and one that was nowhere near my radar. An original production by studio MAPPA with perhaps the wildest premiere episode of the season that’s somehow making me like idols?! It’s also giving us the most Miyano Mamoru has ever Miyano’d and it’s amazing and histerical. The characters are also very charming, specially bikegang leader Saki and the always legendary Yamada Tae and the show isn’t scared of letting its cute idols get gross and silly and dirty. There’s also a feeling of mystery that I find very appealing. Definitely didn’t expect this one to be one of the highlights of my week, yet here we are.
Tumblr media
SSSS Gridman: Just when I’d vowed a giant fuck you to Studio Trigger, in they come with one of their most quiet productions yet, with characters that speak their lines in soft, leveled voices, tragedies that feel palpable, emotionally climactic battle scenes and a sense of tension and mystery that makes it impossible to take your eyes away. It does have the caveat of oversexualizing the female characters, specially the villain, and not giving Rikka virtually anything to do, but past that, it’s been a very pleasant and intriguing surprise. Also of note, I have no background knowledge of the Gridman tokusatsu series but that hasn’t really been an impediment to enjoy this series.
Tumblr media
Double Decker: Doug & Kirill: A spinoff to the 2010 superhero hit Tiger & Bunny, we have a less superpowery buddycop comedy with a cool and diverse cast, whose main character wants to BRING DOWN CAPITALISM, okay, put an end to economic inequality and classes, but that’s basically the same thing. The show is pretty far along because it premiered early for some reason, and so far it’s been mostly one-shot stories very thinly connected to the distribution of the illegal drug Anthem, with our main plot having only come up two episodes ago with the fantastic Zabel and Bamboo Man twist. The dynamics between the main duo are great and Kirill is a riot as a protagonist.
Tumblr media
Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru: Or Run with the Wind. Now THIS is the best sports anime of the season. Brought to you by the studio behind Haikyu, based on a novel by the author of Fune wo Amu. Firstly I love that it’s set in university, because it gives the cast a lot more variety in their interests, ages and personalities, their goals, their baggage, and it makes the process of bringing this team of misfits together even more interesting to watch. The characters feel very human in the way they speak, their worries, their relationships, their actions. The show’s done a great job so far in building the characters and making them worth cheering for. Also Ouji is my spirit animal. If you ever wanted a show to motivate you into running, this is what you’ve been waiting for! Another great surprise of this season for sure.
Tumblr media
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo: Finally part Five is here! And in it we get perhaps the most interesting Jojo protagonist right off the bat, with troubled Giorno and his difficult past and his wonderful Stand ability. His new set of allies is also quite eccentric and interesting and every scene and dialogue has that special Jojo flavor of crazy and ridiculous and always a load of fun. This one will have 39 episodes, so we’re barely getting started and I’m already loving all of it.
Tumblr media
Thunderbolt Fantasy 2: Urobutcher’s favorite puppets are back with a vengeance! Every bit as fun, insane, cool and over-the-top as the first season, with the added value of the rapport between the characters, evidenced by how brilliant the few scenes in which Shang and Lin share the screen are. With a brand new story that expands the world of our favorite puppets, and even more new gorgeous puppets added to the mix to make Shang’s life a mess, this show is definitely my favorite this season and potentially of the year. Let Urobuchi keep doing puppets for as long as he wants!
Tumblr media
ooof i’m finally done. It’s midseason so probably nobody cares but do hmu with your favorite shows of the season and if there’s anything worth hatewatching that I may be missing ;)
