Aarmau: You're afraid to differentiate from canon, even if it might not be the most interesting option. Either that or you REALLY have a thing for tall myterious dudes with tragic backstories who are kind of a dick to you. "I can fix him" energy. It's not going to work.

Garmau: You're into the classics. And hey, we've already spent about three quarters of the series dealing with this man's Daddy Issues, we might as well get something out of it.

Laurmau: You get mad when people miss the 'u' in the name. You notice the details of the story, and you're a sucker for beauty-and-the-beast type narritives. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it's yours. And you're way less annoying about it than a lot of the others. Possibly a multishipper?

Zanmau: What the fuck is wrong with you. You either have a rape fetish, or you think he'd somehow come around to being a good guy in this story, which was never set up to happen. Big possiblity that you liked Game of Thrones for all the wrong reasons.

(Couldn't think of what the ship name for this one is but Cadenza and Aphmau): You care a lot about the storyline value of each character, and think that no matter what a couple should support eachother. You also overlap a surprising amount with Aphlyn shippers.

Aphlyn: You have a thing for hot warrior ladies, and honestly good for you. You like the stoic, tortured soul vibes Garroth gives, but don't like how the fandom treats him as an incorruptable knight in shining armour, even if that's inaccurate. Or you just wanted it to be gay.

does mcd aarmau feel iffy for you? idk theyre sweet in mys but in mcd, everyones saying they were lovers(lucinda said aaron was aphmau's beloved and stuff) but it feels more like they were comfort buddies and had sex that one time. The whole "aphmau having a secret but passionate romance" feels like the other's projecting that their lady aphmau is too pure and beyond having sexual desires and their want for their lord to settle down over her. being a person.

I agree with aaron being her comfort buddy with a side of sex that one time. Frankly, I'd even say the banging of sir aaron by aphmau was a result of aph feeling distressed by the romantic pressures laurance and garroth were putting on, stress in general and yknow when you have a impluse thought that leads to bad decisions? Bam!Pregnancy of Alina.Honestly maybe aarmau had the potential but the whiplash of their romance going from point a (friendship, solidarity) to point b (romance, sexual relationship) was such a step jump rather than a climb, i feel like the fandom who watched mcd are still healing from their sprained necks. All of Aph romance options were bad outside like Katelyn but we all know Katie wasnt a legit, just a bone tossed to us who starved for some wlw-- just like how Travmau and Vyladmau were shams. Aarmau was technically the best route but the writing crippled itself because Aarmau works better as healing relationship aka slow burn.But maybe that's the intention. We're suppose to see the fault in Aph and this season is about Aph separating herself from the pedestal others create. She doesn't want to be a goddess, she doesn't want to be some sort of savior.The plot is trying to legitimized aarmau as a Sound and Intentional romance but I feel like Jess should keep up the idea of it was rushed and so snap judgement even Aphmau doesn't know if it was a good decision.See? Much more fancisnating imho than the love triangle drama. Even if the intention was so muddled idek what angle she's going for, at least I can contextualize it and write metas and think "What the Hell Going On Y'all".I like it.

Well I joked before it's because Vylad is gay and doesn't find interest in women, so why y'all keep up with Vylad x female characters. But an actual canon reason why is that they have 0 chemistry and I just feel like mutually? They don't care about each other enough to warrant romantic feelings. They're friends (barely), but I think about the times Vylad pretty much waited before stepping in when Aph in a fighting situation and their first time they actually met each other & aph lied to him, saying that Garroth was dead despite she could tell how distressed vylad was about him... and Vylad broke down crying.They're not a good romantic match in MCD. Beside, Aaron is the best love interest for Aphmau and like anon, I'm going to honest-- everybody kinda pales in comparison and in vylad case it's "hahaha us? In a relationship? I'm. Good."He might like to watch drama but be a part of this pentagon of love Aph gots? Vylad is good out here. preferably good with going after Laurance 👀👀👀👀👀
