Thoughts I had during TGCF Season 1 the Recap!

Basically, I recap the First Season of TGCF with my reactions, before my Season 2 binge watch!

Ep 1

-Don’t go out there… don’t go out there… don’t go out there… don’t go out there… *Bride gets snatched* Okay, maybe you should’ve gone out there.

-Right after XL ascends, Lan Hai and Qing Tao then go, “Huh, Who is that?”  Then everybody yells at them, “PRINCE XIE LIAN!”

-So much Property Damage…

-Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!

-Fu Yao, *Is sarcastic and rolls his eyes* Basically me: He’s just like me fr!!!

-Hehehehehehe Dick joke XD

-Sees Bride!XL: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I’m Sorry XD!

-Yeah right a few alterations, she totally fixed his make up calling it.

-*Sees Bridesmaids NF and FY like* W H E E E Z E XD XD XD XD

-So that’s how he was able to last longer than the previous bride

-Pass me the Aux cord!  You better not be playing mainstream garbage! *Turns on One Flower and One Sword and vibes like there’s no tomorrow*!

-Honey, He looks a little too good looking to be the Ghost groom

-That temple looks abandoned, and the animation camera for walking inside

-Hehe Xie Lian’s aggressive kindness

-When the mob scooched away from Bride!Lian I freaking lost it XDXDXDXD

-I love that when San Lang scared the Ghosts shitless they ended up running like no tomorrow, Ghost 1: Book it guys our lives depend on it!  Ghost 2:  But we’re already dead! Ghost 1:  Well it’s just an expression!

-And there was only one bed.  Oh my gods there was only one bed!!!

-Aw he caught him staring

Ep 6

-Woah, that old man is traumatized

-Of course being a martial god, he has experience in combat.  Have you seen him in a sword dual at Yinian bridge? (Subtle Phineas and Ferb quote)

-Yep called it, and the gong noise when the door opened!

-“How did we get out here in the middle of the ocean???”

-Awww look at San Lang’s emo hoodie!

-You know what’s better than one evil Daoist?  Two evil Daoists!

-And he drank the whole thing like a boss

-Now Nan Feng’s acting like an NPC from a fantasy video game

-The woman in the teal cloak saw him

-He’s touched starved again!

-Best chemistry ever!

-And after Rouye grabs San Lang and Xie Lian says, “I didn’t mean San Lang”. Rouye goes: “Really? Ok!”  And then lets him go, that’s just the hypothetical dialogue I’ve got for the silk band

Ep 7

-It’s official!  Xie Lian is shorter than San Lang people! 

-I’ve heard of a close knit unit but this is just insane!

-There’s so many people

-Ooooohhh That poor poor general

-SO MANY COBRAS!

-Oh no and 4’s an unlucky number in China

-He is sucking the venom out like a G!  Get yourself a man like San Lang people!

-You know we’re all thinking what Xie Lian’s thinking about how he’s going to clean San Lang’s bloodied lips (I’ll let you share your answers in the comment section)

-And Fu Yao’s stuck with merchant sitting

-Really lovely desert travel music!

-Yeah he does know an awful lot

-Uh oh the woman in the black cloak spotted them

Ep 8

-Thank you San Lang for protecting your man like a champ!

-Ooooh cool more Ban Yue lore!

-Ooooh his poor, poor head

-And San Lang’s expression, is worried if he hurt him, but it worked!

-Yeah but our faces don’t stick out of the ground like a fresh tater!

-Aw no they’re gonna need sacrifices

-Zhao’s fight response kicked in

-“Sully not thine honor on innocent blood” That almost sounded like a bible quote…?

-He’s gonna jump into the pit, he’s jumping into the pit, he jumped into the

-Xie Lian’s like: Well I am going down there, but I won’t go down alone!

-The pit’s entrance is sealed!

-Trust fall!  TRUST FALL!  

-He touched his throat!

-There’s your answer Xie Lian

-Dance fight!  Dance fight!

-You’re just gonna excuse the mass murder San Lang committed in the pit?????

-Let me just find somewhere that isn’t covered in blood

-Oh yeah you’re grateful for San Lang carrying you

-The faces they made when he called them out for jumping into the pit XD Xie Lian’s eyes are wide and blank while San Lan has a cat face! XDXDXDXDXD

-She saw Xie Lian and San Lang

-So many fallen Ban Yue soldiers

-I wasn’t kidding when I said Fu Yao isn’t great at crowd control

-Here’s why Fu Yao left early, as they healed Uncle Jiang he contacted Nan Feng through the telepathic array and Fu Yao’s reason is:  Come on, you know how horrifying his highness’ cooking can be.  This is just my theory, and I’d love to hear your possible ones in the comments!

-And the way Hua Cheng moved in closer and just preferred to be called ‘San Lang’ my freaking heart!!!

Ep 12

-We are back in Puqi village folks

-I freaking love how Xie Lian says ‘The Crimson Rain Sought Flower’ Howard Wang’s voice could act as my new sleeping aid

-Oh yeah San Lang does treasure you dude

-Ban Yue deserves all the head pats!!!!

-Ban Yue, I think you should keep living despite all the mistakes you’ve made… other than that I also don’t know the answer like Xie Lian

-Aww Xie Lian will love him no matter if he’s hideous or a monster he really does have the best standards!

-Awwww He’s hot when he’s mad!

-Another Reason why Hualian works so well is that San Lang also Respects!  Xie Lian’s!  Boundaries (Yep still not getting involved with the Helluva Boss drama folks)

Well looks like the whole Disney TVA series for Disney Channel/XD having a three season limit cause of the poor reception of Star vs season 4 has been debunked by Big City Greens being confirmed to get a fourth season (plus a musical movie). At least there's one Disney TVA show that we know isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Okay so first things first: Disney keeping it's shows to either 52 episodes or two or three seasons.. isn't new. While they've eased up on the exact episode count DIsney has always wnated to keep shows within a certain length or cut good shows down suddenly because it made them 12 cents richer. As for Big City Greens getting a fourth season and a movie, first off congradulations. While I fell baddly behind in keeping up with season 2 and need to binge that after finshing season 2 of venture brothers, I'm VERY happy it's getting another season.

That said while Fourth Seasons for animatoin are rare they have happened.. ti's just only happened about four times (possibly more) in the networks history (not counting preschool shows): Kim Possible, Phineas and Ferb, Star Vs and now Big City Greens. They CAN do it.. they just don't wanna half the time. I STILl dont' know how star pulled it off given it's the only heavily seralized show they've let get a fourth season.

This is why Owl House planned for three.. before getting fucked over and having the season 3 order cut to ribons and why amphibia did the same, as well as why despite a rewnewal seemingly being a slam dunk, Ducktales did a big finale just in case.. and turned out to be properly paranoid because disney is stupid. What i'm saying is while Star Season 4 was bad... it was NEVER the reason Disney keeps thigns to three seasons. I don't know the reason. Maybe they like to keep it cheap. I don't know. It ONLY seems to be animated shows not for preschoolers they have this werid issue with letting run long. They are a deeply weirdly run and deeply stupid network and i'm happy at least one show managed to get not only a season past them but a full on film. Good for them!

I’m sure you’ve answered this before, but why do you like “Night of the Living Pharmacists” so much? I don’t know your profile says you like me and it kinda freaks me out so just curious.

I actually haven’t answered this before, which is why when I saw this in my inbox, I stared at it for a few minutes and exit my browser because wow, where do I even begin with this one? This is going to be an unnecessarily long post, but because I am a kind and benevolent blogger, I’ll put a Keep Reading here so y’all don’t have to scroll through five years of excited rambling from yours truly.

Honestly, off the top of my head, I don’t really know why Night of the Living Pharmacists resonated with me. I just know that the first time I watched it, probably about 10 hours into a Phineas and Ferb binge on Disney+ because that’s basically my life at this point -- I was absolutely captivated from the beginning. I thought about it for a couple days, and I came up with a couple reasons.

First of all, I love Candace and Vanessa’s friendship. Candace goes Full Lesbian™ from the moment she sees Vanessa at the store until she realizes they’re actually surrounded by dumbasses. I love that she has no problem taking charge in the presence of these “cool older girls,” and even calls them out for kinda being idiots. And, to be honest, what’s better than Candace and Vanessa bonding over the fact that weird shit happens to them all the time while they’re dealing with even weirder shit? 

The other big thing I like is Perry’s part in all this. He’s basically in the background the whole time, but he’s arguably the most important player in the game.  I’m such a sucker for Perry protecting the boys (I’m looking at you, at2d), and seeing him standing on a rooftop with his binoculars, knowing damn well that the whole city is in danger but giving no fucks about anyone but his boys warms my heart every time. 

Part of the reason it took me a week to respond to this ask though is that I watch Phineas and Ferb on the treadmill everyday, and notlp was coming up in the rotation, so I figured I might as well watch it again before I answered this for a scene or two to reference in my answer, right? Except I realized as I was watching it that a lot of my favorite jokes in the series are in this episode, so, once again, welcome to gifapalooza!

I don’t even have a description for this like Buford hears that they’re making a rubberization ray and his first thought it...

Bonus: Phineas’s reaction

And then there’s Perry looking like he stepped straight out of club penguin

This might be my favorite trap? He’s a fucking disco ball? They’re doing the fucking disco? How can you not love it?

They have a pillowfight? Is this not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?

The songs are all really good but the “Who’s that Guy?” one and the “Lots of Me!” remix are my shit. Look how happy he is!

I just love how chill she is like I know this is fairly normal for a Doofenshmirtz but she’s like “huh, weird” and moves on with her life

Also, Stacy’s whole plotline is fucking hilarious but this part takes the cake

These dudes talking about how the whole zombie pharmacist thing doesn’t make any sense were funniest the first time but it feels like the whole joke goes on too long and it gets boring UNTIL the line “are you insinuating that my clothes are alive?” and that never fails to make me laugh

This might be my favorite joke in the whole thing just because of the cut from “LOTS OF ME” to “LESS OF ME” 

Perry’s face when Heinz says it’s his first time flying a helicopter has major Drusselstein Driving Test Waltz vibes and tbh I can’t blame him

Candace: ah shit zombies -_-

Perry, always two steps ahead:

I’m still bitter that the only times Phineas and Heinz get to bond over building are the Other-Dimensionator that kinda gets glossed over for the sake of the actual plot and this scene that happens during a musical montage but this part’s pretty good I’m not even gonna lie

Also I was too lazy to gif these ones but these are also funny:

“OW! THIS IS HOT! Did that just come out of the oven?” “Well, my hands are metal!”

“It’s a callback to something I didn’t even hear!! IN YOUR FACE, LOGIC!” (and the fact that he makes another callback to something he didn’t even hear later in the episode which makes it a callback to what he didn’t hear and a callback to this callback makes it even better)

“Was is worth the time it took to make the scale model?” 

Heinz calling the zombies “pharmacist freaks” after complaining for the millionth time that people assumed he was a pharmacist

Okay, you get the point. It’s a funny fucking episode. But I think what sets it apart from the rest of the show is it manages to stay really funny while also keeping the stakes really high, and I think that’s why it’s my favorite. And, to illustrate my point, here’s my absolute favorite part of the episode, and this one’s not one of the funny parts (except “I used to be Carl” that was funny but shhhh)

I think it’s pretty freaking obvious throughout the show that Perry is always two seconds away from strangling Monogram, and that OWCA pisses him off to no end. But it’s still his home. It’s been his home presumably his entire life -- since before the Flynn-Fletchers adopted him and everything. It’s been around since long before he was born, and you have to assume he’d always thought it would outlive him by centuries. If anything went wrong, OWCA would be there, no matter what. He just watched the downfall of his entire organization in the midst of a literal apocalypse.

But it gets worse. OWCA has withstood years and years of fighting evil and poor management. it was probably stronger than anything else. If OWCA couldn’t withstand the zombie apocalypse, what were the odds that Perry could? What were the odds that the kids could? He had to be petrified, and I’m sure anyone else would have given up, but he doesn’t. He sets out looking for Phineas and Ferb, determined to help them make it through this if it’s the last thing he does.

1. Avatar the last airbender (or s3-4 of legend of korra) -> my coping mechanism when life slowly starts to lose all meaning, it happens so little by little that you feel unsettled but you can't yet understand why, nothing is supposed to be as it is, that or you really have lost touch with yourself and reality, these times you need sth to remind you of who you were and are or that it is okay if you don't know where you're going in life, it is okay, everything will be okay, you will understand again why the world is the way it is, hope for a clear mind and soul will come again, a good life can be a peaceful life (autumn vibes, it is the season when you can feel change coming, you feel it in the wind and all around you, sth new is starting, you will finally have a routine again, also huge nostalgia)

2. Parks and Recreation -> comfort show, feelgood show, it is great for a quick escape from the world when you feel too anxious or at the edge of your seat, after a few eps you feel like it starts repeating itself and you're able to snap out of it before hours of binge watching pointlessly, you smile, remember to not take life too seriously (early summer vibes, exactly when the season is changing and you, for the love of god, need the end of the school year to come and sleep for a month straight, but it gets hot a little too soon and you feel like the days are starting to blend into each other but you're safe and content, a simple life can be a good life)

3. The Haunting of the Hill House -> it is 1 am and it is very cold, you're cuddled up with your favourite blanket and stuffed animal, you have nowhere else to be but your bed and nothing else to do, no responsibilities whatsoever, it is 2 am and you don't want to sleep, you could stay up all night if you wanted to and you do, no-one can tell you you can't, everything is perfectly still, silent, it is 3 am and the world is sleeping, the ghosts are keeping you company, the more episodes you watch the more sleepy you become and the more ghosts are at your bedside, they like your stuffed animal, they are protecting you, it is 4 am and you slowly drift off, the ghosts stay, they are chatting amongst themselves, they feel like home, it is 5 am and they feel dread, they have to leave, they don't know if they ever will be back together again, you don't get a chance to say goodbye, you are alone (winter vibes)

4. She ra and the princesses of power -> comfort show, everyone has a million things to do and it has been so long from the last time you rested that you can't remember a day that you weren't productive, you need a break but no-one is there cause everyone is caught up in their own lives and responsibilities and you can't blame them, you are not alone, actually you are surrounded by people, but you feel really lonely, you need love and you need to be seen, you need a day in Etheria, in Brightmoon, or the Crimson Waste, or in Plumeria, or in Mystacor, you need to find your people and just be present with them, love is around you, love is strength (spring vibes, you're finally getting vitamin D after winter, you cry cause you've been in need of it for a long time but denial creeped into your brain)

5. Harley Quinn the animated series s1 -> fuck this shit, you're tired and angry and sick of people not taking you seriously, you want to smash a window or to drive a car into a lake or just yell and pop a lung open, i get it, you want to clench and unclench your fists, you feel tingles starting from your feet, up your legs, behind your knees, all the way up your spine till your nape, you want to start running but like you can't bring yourself to because you have spent years mastering how to limit yourself and you feel like you're going crazy, honestly you need a break from being nice, take a day off, be angry and salty, who fucking cares anyways (november/february vibes, just decide man, you wanna be autumn or winter? winter or spring? make a fucking decision)

Our Do Nothing Day

A/N: Hi! I am back with a new one, and this is inspired by the legendary show ‘Phineas and Ferb!’ I loved that show so much, and I decide to use one of the songs from the show as an inspo! (I am actually binging P&F songs at the moment lol). I had a pretty rough day with everything that is happening in my life, and...writing really helps a lot and.. writing Bryce especially made a girl happy :) . I hope all of you enjoy it!

 A day off is rare for both of the doctors since they aren’t used to a free day without emergencies surrounding them. They decide to have the day for the two of them since, with Louis being born and their hectic shifts, they haven’t gotten to chance to have much alone time with one another. 

The day was early, as the knock on the door was heard. Casey happily opened the door to be greeted with her friends, and a smiling Keiki waiting outside their door. All of her friends made their way inside to the apartment, as they settled in. 

‘All of them agreed on watching Louis, as Keiki wanting to spend more time with her nephew. Louis is growing every day, and Keiki had vowed on not wanting to miss a thing after he was born. 

Bryce walks into the living room, with 2-year-old Louis fresh out of the bath. He is smiling happily at the sight of the company, especially when Keiki holds her arms out to hold him. Louis accepted her arms happily, as the two of them bond away. 

Casey smiles at the sight of them, as her friends are trying to entertain Louis with the help of Keiki. Bryce took a cup of coffee that was made, as his eyes follow her direction.

‘We are really lucky to have them.’ 

Casey nods, as she took a sip of the coffee once more before she placed it in the dishwasher. 

‘We do. Your sister is something else, Bryce.’ 

A smile appears on his face, as his eyes followed Keiki who is singing along to the nursery rhymes on the television with Louis happily clapping his hands. Sienna and Elijah were singing in harmony whilst Jackie just let out a sigh followed by a laugh at the commotion in front of her.

Bryce and Casey said goodbye to Louis and the others, as they started their date for the day. Casey pulls out her phone, as she examined each plan she had for the day while he shook her head at her.

‘They say if you plan. Life tends to end up pretty badly y’ know.’ Bryce stated as he placed an arm around his wife.

Casey shook her head, as she leaned into his touch.

‘Nope, not true! I have lived my life to plan everything, and… it went by perfectly.’ Casey stutters a bit as she walks faster with Bryce besides her who just nodded at her argument.

They made their way to a local theme park she found on the web. She did a few research as she wanted to make this day perfect, for both herself and Bryce. Casey felt herself being optimistic, as she scatters on forward only to be stopped by the long line in front of them. 

‘Wha-? How?! I saw the posts, they said people won’t be coming today!’ Casey lets out a sigh as the line in front of them was very very long.

‘Hey, it’s okay. We can do something else, as long as we are together okay?’ Bryce reassures her, as Casey felt a bit better. They left the theme park, as Casey pulled up the list once more to their next destination. The theatre, and unfortunately. All the tickets were sold out as well. She is still standing tall, as Bryce giving her thumbs up in a supporting manner. Moving on to the next destination, the city aquarium. As they said, third time’s a charm, right? But… little did they know, the aquarium was closed for renovations as they arrived at the entrance. 

Casey smiles falter as the sign says, ‘Closed for renovations.’ Bryce stopped in his tracks at the sign, as he glances at Casey who is looking disappointed. Casey felt given up, as she sat on the sidewalk. Bryce followed suit, as he sat beside her. 

‘You are right as always, ugh!’ Casey lets out a groan and she buried her face in her hands. 

Bryce rubs her back slowly before he could say anything. Both of their phones beep in unison, as they took it out at the same time. 

Both of them receive a message from their friend’s group chat and Keiki, with various pics of Louis playing with his toys and happily smiling from the pics. One of the pics that stood out to them is the one with Keiki holding Louis in her arms, as he is smiling widely. There was a video attached to the group chat, as Casey played it.

Sienna’s voice could be heard, as she is holding the phone.

‘Hi, Louis, smile for the camera honey!’ Sienna called out to him, as he jumps happily in Keiki’s arms.

Louis was facing the camera, as he jumped happily. Keiki is holding his arm, as a small attempt to wave at the camera. 

‘Louis said, have fun to mommy and daddy!’ She said as Louis moves his little arms slowly as an attempt of waving to the camera before the screen fades. 

Casey felt a smile appear on her face, as she played the video once more. Bryce did the same, as he pulled her into his arms as they stood silently on the pavement. 

‘It’s not your fault Cas, you didn’t know.’ He rubbed her back as she leaned her head on his shoulders.

‘I know… I wanted today to be perfect for us.’ Casey’s voice is small as she lets out a sigh.

‘It’s already perfect with you here okay?’ He reassures her once more as her smiles appear once more.

Bryce’s face lit up as an idea dawned on him. He stood up, as she followed suit. 

‘I have an idea, let’s go.’ 

They drive for half an hour, as they finally arrived at the spot. It was already evening, as they reached the destination. There were parents and kids are having fun, vendors were selling food, and they even had a stage set for performing along with a projector where the kids were watching Phineas and Ferb happily. The place has its charms as Casey’s eyes went wide at the beauty of the whole place.

‘How did you find this place?’ 

Bryce shrugs as they started to walk towards the entrance. The places weren’t as packed as the theme park, but… the sight of it had made her smile as her eyes traveled through the whole landscape of the place. 

Casey was mesmerized by the whole place that she left Bryce behind, as she stopped as smelled the flowers. There was a variety of them, as she took a couple of photos for future-keeping. She turns around, as she felt a tap on her shoulder.

Her head turns, to be meet with Bryce who was holding a picnic basket and a bundle of flowers in his hands. Casey felt her eyes widen at it all.

‘How did this get here?!’ Casey asked in disbelief gesturing to the basket and the flowers. He passed the flowers towards Casey, as she accept it happily. 

‘I magically appear it on my own.’ Bryce replies happily as Casey groans at him. He shakes his head, as he walks forward leaving her behind. She immediately runs towards his direction, as he leads them to an empty spot a few feet away from the projector area where the kids were happily watching the show.

The spot was empty, as Bryce pulls out a blanket from the basket. He places it down the grass, as they sat down happily. The sight of it all made Casey happy. The kids running around, as bubbles were floating into the sky. It somehow felt like it was taken from a movie.

Bryce lays out the food, as Casey glances at him with gentleness in her eyes. 

‘You are amazing, you know that?’ Casey said as she took a bite from the deliciousness in front of her.

‘Hey, I did what I can. We deserved this, and it feels amazing to just… settled down for a while.’ Bryce said happily as they sat continue eating. After the food is done, Casey lays her head on his shoulders as they watched Phineas and Ferb as the park was doing a marathon of old episodes. She smiled at the sight of the classic show, which is one of her favorites growing up.

‘I remember every detail about this episode!’ Casey said as she is reminiscing her whole childhood through that one episode.

‘Is that so? Tell me what happens next.’ Bryce challenges her, like the scene where the dinosaur slide that Candace is building starts to fly away. 

‘Alright, the dinosaur would land at the town’s fair where Candace’s boyfriend, Jeremy, and his band are performing there.’ Casey said with full confidence as she observes the scene closely and, lets out a whoop as she nailed it.

‘Fine, fine. Never underestimate the one and only Casey Lahela.’ He said as he kissed her cheek. 

They sat in silence as the song started to play from the episode, which is one of Casey’s favorite song from the whole series. Honestly, all of the songs from the show are amazing, like… good. But, this one stood out to her today somehow, as she is having a good and relaxing day-off with the love of her life as Jeremy sings the lyrics that describe their day perfectly.

The episode ends with the credits, as the song was played once more. Casey sang along to the lyrics as she reminisces the day they had today… she would learn a thing a two of living in the moment with Bryce. She didn’t worry much as they have a whole lifetime together to enjoy the ride. But, right now. 

She took a glance at him, as the world around them fades. 

‘This is the best day ever.’ She whispered to him, as he lets out a small laugh at the statement.

‘Are you sure? What about our wedding day? Or… the day Louis is born?’ He raised an eyebrow as an attempt to play with her.

‘It’s in the top-five list alright!’ She lays her foot down with that statement as they are finally ready to call it a day.

The sun is setting, as they made their way back home. It wasn’t the perfect date she had planned out instead, its something entirely different. It was their do-nothing-day and, Casey looks forward to more days like this with her family in the future.

We Bare Bears: The Movie

“We Bare Bears: The Movie” ends up not being unbearable and instead stays true to the show while delivering a story on a grander scale.

Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear are three brother bears that have grown to be quite annoying to the people of the San Francisco Bay Area. The three try to become popular by creating a viral video and sending it to every device in the city. This causes all these devices to short-circuit, effectively making them useless. With the whole city against the bears, a man named, Agent Trout calls for the removal of these bears from society. The three bears flee, hoping to start a new life in Canada, where they’ll be accepted for who they are. The problem is, Agent Trout wants to see these bears put behind bars permanently.

“We Bare Bears” was a show that I didn’t get to watch when I was younger because it was around the time I stopped keeping up with cartoons on television. I was recently recommended this movie by my cousins and I’ve binged this whole show in a couple of days. It’s an easily digestible show with short episodes that are charming and entertaining. This show is good at portraying diverse people from different races, religions, sexualities, and backgrounds in normal ways. My biggest gripe with the television series is the way it ended. There wasn’t a farewell or goodbye to the show. It ended on a lackluster, normal episode and I think this movie was a good way to have one last adventure with the bears. Although it doesn’t tie up any loose ends from the show, it does deliver a story that is bigger than anything the show had to offer. The movie captures the essence of the show perfectly, which is something other movies fail to do after a long hiatus. The music was very derivative of other famous songs, but not jarring enough to throw me off. I guess the studio didn’t want to pay licensing rights to the more famous songs. The voice of baby Grizz threw me off slightly because it was noticeably deeper than in the show. I just wish they would’ve modified it slightly so it would be more consistent with the show since all the flashbacks take place while the brothers first meet each other. I think the only big thing this movie missed the mark on was the little scene with all the famous animals. They’re all meant to be meme references, but I think this whole section of the movie could’ve been cut out and it wouldn’t have made a difference. Initially, it was a little fun calling out which meme each animal was referencing, but I immediately found it to date the movie in a way that would age badly as time goes on. This movie is nothing groundbreaking but does the job it was meant to. The recent “Phineas And Ferb” movie felt like a normal episode that was dragged on for too long. This movie feels just right in terms of the scale of the story and never overstays its welcome. All in all, I think this is a great movie for fans of the show to watch. If you haven’t watched the show, you should before watching this movie.
