Named after the historical marker that signifies the end of Route 66, the End of the Trail Music Festival is a celebration of music, art, and the turn of the season. Typically celebrated during the first weekend in April -- The festival takes place over Easter weekend. This annual event is at the Santa Monica Pier, and surrounding beach. Between the Park Pacific Amusement Park, restaurants along the pier and Ocean Ave, the entirety of Santa Monica joins in on the celebration. Along with the carnival rides and games, various stages are set up along the pier and beach to showcase local talent and big name musicians throughout the weekend. All music lovers are welcome to attend, but must have purchased a ticket.
It's opening event time!! The End of the Trail Music Festival is held April 8th, in game. OOC wise, this event will begin on APRIL 8TH at 6 PM CST, and go on until APRIL 15TH at 11:59 PM CST, that way everyone is able to participate regardless of time zones and schedules. Any starters for the event should be tagged #AHQ:EVENT1!

not to be back with another admin post but the results are in ! we’ve finally set an opening date and time for interactions. based on the responses, we’ll be opening on THURSDAY, SEPT 1 @ 4 PM PST / 7 PM EST !! so definitely expect an opening post for when we do open ! super excited for what’s to come. for any tag lurkers out there, come join in on the fun ! Exciting news, y'all! Since so many apps have come in in such a short amount of time, I've decided to move the opening/acceptance date for the RP up! Rather than opening on April 15th, the first round of acceptance and opening of the RP will be SATURDAY, APRIL 8TH at 6 PM CST. Once acceptance is posted, the group will officially be open for interaction! Information regarding the opening event will be posted Friday evening.

PICKING UP MULTIPLE MUSES. if you plan to pick up multiple muses, please make sure to review the diversity umbrella section of our guidelines. again, ensuring this group is a diverse place is of the utmost importance.
ROOMMATES. as mentioned before, if you’re applying for a new muse and have a plotted roommate connection with an existing muse, please note that in your application. and for new members who plan to join together and would like their muses to be roommates, please also note that in your application ( ie. 'muse 1 will be roommates with muse 2′ )

hi everyone ! apologies for the lengthy post but this is both an announcement + quick guidelines update ( RE: indefinite pause for muses under 30 ) so please be sure to read the ENTIRETY of this post as it contains some pertinent information. additionally, please LIKE THIS POST to acknowledge that you’ve read and agree to these terms. thanks for your time ! more information can be found below the cut.
INDEFINITE PAUSE FOR MUSES UNDER 30. after careful consideration, the indefinite pause for muses under 30 has been LIFTED ! however, please keep in mind that this pause can be reinstated at any time if muses over the age of 30 are lacking.
GUIDELINES UPDATE. bolded is what has been updated !
more information can be found under the BLOGS AND CHARACTERS section of our guidelines
001. your muse should not be more than three years older or younger than the faceclaim portraying them. since this group is for muses 25+, this means the youngest your fc can be is 22. no exceptions.
we know. it shouldn’t have to be said but this is just a friendly reminder! please try to be realistic when it comes to your character’s age, occupation & living situation ( e.g. established doctors/surgeons being 35+, lawyers being 27+, etc. )

002. we operate on an alternating system. for every cis white character you play, you must play a character who is one of the following:
a character of color
plus-sized
non-binary
transgender
a character with disabilities
a character that is 30+ years of age
003. in addition to this umbrella — if you are picking up two characters at once, we ask that at least one is a character of color ( e.g. if your first character has a white fc, your second character must have a fc of color and so forth. )
furthermore, if your first two characters are under the age of 30 ( 25 – 29 ), we ask that the next character you pick up be 30+ years of age whilst still following the one white, one fcoc rule.

001. ANONYMOUS HATE. any anonymous hate sent to the main WILL NOT be acknowledged nor will it be tolerated. as a reminder, our rules state:
... anyone caught sending anonymous hate to other members or the main will promptly be removed and banned from joining this group.
002. WANTED CONNECTIONS. despite the indefinite pause, we will still ACCEPT applications for muses under 30 if they fill a wanted connection. therefore members are still allowed to their submit wanted connections for muses under 30 without waiting for the pause to be lifted.

hi everyone ! after reviewing our pages, i’ve made the executive decision to put an INDEFINITE PAUSE ON ACCEPTING MUSES AGED 25 – 29 ( barring the already existing apps in the inbox ). amorelux is a rp for muses aged TWENTY-FIVE AND UP therefore, i hope this will encourage prospective applicants to app for muses 30+. ensuring that the group is a diverse space is of the utmost importance to me so i hope prospective applicants will understand this decision.
with that being said, we will be establishing an opening date soon and would love to see more older muses ! if our opening is successful and this does in fact encourage people to app for older muses, i will reconsider potentially lifting the indefinite pause. again, thank you for understanding 💖
