If you don't ship MadoHomu nor KyouSaya, then which other couples do you ship?

MadoSaya and KyouMami.

Madoka and Sayaka have been friends for a long time prior to meeting Homura. Sayaka jokes about having Madoka as her future bride in the first episode. Sayaka would always jump to Madoka's defense when Homura is all cryptic and intimidating. Hitomi described their relationship as "forbidden love" when feeling out of loop. When Madoka ascends to godhood, she appoints Sayaka as her most trusted agent ("her personal secretary", as told by Sayaka). When Homura rewrites the universe, Sayaka is the only one who confronts her.

Kyouko and Mami have known eachother prior to meeting Madoka and Sayaka. Mami knew Kyouko's family (and took care of her after the Sakura Family tragedy). Kyouko was Mami's pupil back when she was still a newbie Puella Magi. Mami says that Kyouko was "her very first friend" (Akairo-san, one of Candeloro's Familiars, look like Kyouko, btw). Kyouko confronts Mami when she descends into despair, and both are seen together again in the Afterlife. And don't get me started on Magia Record (the game, not the anime).

It's been 10+ years already. Maybe it's time to come to the realization that MadoHomu and KyouSaya are forever doomed by the narrative. That's no reason to despair, for we have other options that aren't too shabby.

Also, the reason why I didn't paired Homura up with anyone is because I headcanon her to be asexual.

So you kind of got one for each of my OCs.

Akairo's favorite season would be spring. Her real name, Akina, means spring flower. Her and Hatori kind of play into the whole spring after winter thing.

Aquarela would 100% have dreams about the beach because she misses it so much. Undergrad in Iowa and Grad school at northwestern? FINALLY! In San Diego away from the cold.

Kessho would probably use tea tree oil shampoo. She also coats herself in mud when she's going on intelligence gathering missions to help conceal her scent. Rolls around in the grass/moss/dirt of the forest floor too.

A reminder that Candeloro has familiars that are identical to Kyoko and Madoka in the game she appears in and they are just as powerful as the real deal. Imagine everyone in the household having familiar dopplegangers after she witches out, all of whom look close enough to the real deal that a quick glance can’t tell if they are real or fake.

The Kyoko and Madoka familiars are named Akairo-san and Momoiro-san respectively btw.

People in the neighborhood suddenly see how one of them leaves only to walk out of the house again five minutes later without having returned.... its becoming an issue 😔
