it's weird... being as sore as i am right now. sore in places i've never felt sore before. but it's good. somehow. dunno how or if i'll be strong enough for tomorrow's class, but i also feel like i've already made real progress. broken new ground in a meaningful way. i'm hyperaware of my body but in a way that feels like i'm alive, not a rotting, walking corpse. like i usually do when i hurt...

and i realized. in all the soreness and tension. my neck doesn't hurt today.

At work (Employee Housing Janitor) we’re at the end of the winter season and a bunch of the assholes moving out just left all their shit for me to clean up All Over The Place

And I packed it all up and took it down like 4 levels to the dumpster all on my own >:)

Like Fuck the literal 3 people who did this bc the entire common area was this bad, BUT I CARRIED ALL OF IT! AND GOT IT ABOVE MY HEAD INTO THE DUMPSTER!! ON MY OWN!!! Manual labor is something that can truly be so fulfilling

#I should mention: 90% of it was covered in Meat Juice. like they left frozen meat all over too that just Leaked Everywhere #so this was all p much a hazard cleaning all because 3 dudes didn’t want to take care of their own shit #I did almost get stabbed by a kitchen knife slicing through the garbage bag when I was heaving it into the dumpster #but god I do love my job #but also My Poor Arms #muscles Sore Already #clownboy decree #irl

It took me like a day to realize why I feel so exhausted

#i wasn't feeling too well yesterday but went out and socialized #the ac at the McDonald's destroyed my sinuses #and while i had fun outside I was so tired by the end of the day #my batteries were definitely not charged enough for several hours of chatting #again i had fun but i felt ill all day lol #ended up being lazy with stuffy nose and muscle soreness

A testament to how fucking Awful my post-hiking soreness has been. I got out of bed & had a moment of like "Wow! That wasn't verging on agonizing to do! My muscles Must be getting better!"

Then as I walked to the bathroom, I had a moment of "... 🤨 you're still limping, though."

#speculation nation #yes the muscle soreness has been bad enough ive been limping the past two days hfkdhfjd #that and the blisters. 1 main one and 2 lil ones. all three hurt like a Bitch after my shower yesterday so i had them in bandaids #same foot. poor thing was just bandaid smattered. #but yea my legs have been Kind Of Agonizing. they were Aaaaching last night even just lying down #but ive been eating a lot of protein & theyre definitely getting better #they still hurt. but it's not like. total fuckin agony to move. #tho my left leg kept trying to give out today at work hfkshf same as yesterday #(it's my left foot that's fucked up. not directly related to the leg trying to give out but it sure isnt helping) #that kind of thing of me putting weight on my left leg in a way that makes it start to Buckle. #and then i catch myself with my right leg. why my left leg is worse than my right i couldnt tell U. #and i have worked 10 hours on these bitch ass legs already. Cringe lmao. #i have tomorrow(today) off thankfully so im hoping my legs r more recovered by my next shift. #it's kind of miserable lol #i do NOT regret it in the slightest!!!!!!! hiking was SO much fun and i would do it again in a heartbeat. frolicking and all. #just. sometimes. u have a little too much fun for 3 hours and ur body pays for it for days. rip. #at least my legs r getting even stronger bc of it lollll

replacing the switches in my keyboard was a huge success. it sounds so good. it sounds almost creamy. god...,

This week felt like boot camp

#literally been running every day entirely on 3-4 hours of sleep and pure stress #like genuinely school related anxiety is what pushed me through every day #i have had a nonstop headache and all of the muscles around my mouth are sore from clenching my jaw #it hurts to open my mouth too wide #i am so excited to sleep #sometimes opal says stuff

I just tried rollerskating outside again for the first time since last year and oooof it's so bad, I'm so bad at it, the pain is so bad, everything about it is very very bad

#somehow it was worse than I remembered!! #it's not even that I'm too scared now. that's better thanks to the meds. #it's mostly that my body fucking sucks. I guess it should be obvious that if walking for 10 minutes hurts a lot. rollerskating would hurt #even more. #but somehow it still surprises me every time! I'm in so. much. pain. #and no it's not just regular sore muscles. I know what that feels like. no it's so much worse. sore muscles never felt like this. #I know because my body was fine-ish until I was like 20 so I know what that felt like. #anyway I'm in pain and I'm lying on the couch now and won't get up for a long time 🙃 #and last year it didn't get better either. it hurt the same or even more every single time #I've tried all the advice I could find. I did exercises to get my muscles used to those specific motions. it didn't help #soooo I'm thinking I just.. shouldn't try this year. it feels so bad because I really want to get better at it but I don't think the pain #is worth it... #I'm willing to be in pain after I paint or write or whatever... that brings me so much joy that I can live with the pain... #but so far rollerskating doesn't do that. without the pain it could. but it's pretty much instant. sooo I don't think I should try again #for a while at least... #😭😭 #personal
