After watching how booktok is making people fall for overconsumerism with book hauls and such, it was nice to go to my local library. They even put how much I'm saving, and I wonder if other libraries do that too! Please let me know!

#my (now former I guess) library does that too #one time when my niece was there with me she saw it and it was like 300€ #she was really shocked because she thought that's what we had to pay #😂

Nothing gives the same kind of random ego boost like managing to finally clean up your home and making it nice. Like ooh look at me, I'm living like people do, I made myself iced tea and I am eating my snack from a real plate. I got floors and shit.

the thing that I knew would happen when my mother-in-law gave us a vacuum cleaner with a battery has happened: the battery is dead and apparently we have lost the charging cable.

#I mean I suppose that kind of thing is to be expected while you're moving #but there's also a lot of dirt when you're moving #so the vacuum cleaner has been really useful! #except now it will be entirely useless until we find the damn cable (if we find it that is. a replacement is 20€. I'm not paying 20€ for a #fucking charging cable for a vacuum cleaner!!! this is why I would've just bought a corded one 🙃) #like it's a nice vacuum cleaner. it's light. it's efficient. it's not too loud on the lower settings. the charge of the battery lasted quite #a while! #but now we need to keep track of one more cable and remember to charge one more thing and also the battery will die completely one day and #it will probably be either impossible or insanely expensive to have it replaced #I'm not a fan. #personal
