for a variety of reasons i heavily associate dion with cats (graceful yet still a dumbass, quality time as a love language, good balance, etc) and one of the reasons my brain made this association is that dion aquato seems very much like the kind of person to jump high into the air when she's startled. like how raz and tala will automatically scale the nearest tall object, or queepie will punch it, or frazie will throw the nearest available object, but dion just. shouts loudly and jumps. then denies that she was ever startled in the first place.

dion is literally just a cat. shows affection by co-existing with you or facing away, seems rude or standoffish and probably is a little bit but is not nearly as antagonistic as people say. would totally swipe a glass of water off the counter for attention. needs to be in my arms for comfort purposes.
