So...I have no internet at home for now (I'm using hotspot from every person can gimme a lil of internet, my father, my grandma 💀) so... since I know there will be days when I won't have internet from anyone, I downloaded Alt Veronaville by Dreadpirate (btw I love it, the lots are STUNNING)

But there is a problem: here Albany is trans and his...wait, her, new name is Rosalind.

I L O V E the fact she have even a feminine voice! But I don't have feminine clothes for mans.

Advice for where I can download clothes for trans sims? It bothers me that she is dressed as a man

i usually avoid large families at all costs but i cant help but love the chaos caused by the Summerdreams. We have a throuple (Oberon, Titania and R0-10), Puck, coffee lover Bottom and the little Mustardseed. I think they’re having conflict since Titania and Ro want more kids and Oberon was fine with just Puck, Bottom and Mustardseed. Well 2/1 so we have to adopt a kid rn 💀

Just finished recreating a German house from 1980 :)

I might place this somewhere on the Monty side of my altnerative Veronaville since I want to decorate it with post-WW2 style houses instead of Italian villae (the Monty ranch is the only Italian villa).

I forgot to add gutter pipes, and I need to find/create white plastered recolors of those gray wall-height fences

Update

Not feeling so hot and I'm not going to do anything impulsive at 8PM on a Friday evening but

here is a link to a sfs folder with ALL of my content that's currently only hosted on patreon.

I want to add individual sfs links to the tumblr posts but that's a lot and I'm now regretting never adding alt dl links this whole time... and sorry I don't think the downloads in the sfs folder are in order... it also might be some other things, like fixed meshes or stuff. tbh I just added everything I've made after April 3rd 2023 since that was the last time I uploaded anything to sfs.

I guess while I'm here... I was going to wait until after I finish up the last of my active requests (probably by Monday, I'm almost done) but I desperately need a break from CC. I sent a group message on the 17th to my $4 and $6 patrons encouraging them to cancel, but I know not everybody knows patreon even has dms so maybe you'll see this post and I'll reach out again in the coming days so nobody is wasting their money. I am so immensely burnt out and I need to not create for a while. This is completely my own fault, nobody made me work on CC for 8-10 hours 5 days a week for the last several months and I fully knew it wasn't sustainable ages ago but I kept doing it because it made me feel good, until it didn't. Quite honestly, even before I sent the group message the instant wave of relief I felt just having made the decision to take a break... that caught me off guard but just confirmed I need this. I do feel really awful about it because I feel like I'm letting people down but at the same time I don't want to hate creating which was already happening. That being said, I don't know how long the lull in CC is going to be, and if you're only following me strictly for CC I apologize. As said I am still finishing up one request I still had, I'm about 75% done with that as of this post. But that's gonna be it for a while.

There is a part of me that wants to stop using patreon completely and unpublish my creator page (which is what I'm not going to impulsively do tonight without properly thinking it through...since there are positives like how easy it is to download files and whatnot) but I'd again encourage not only those who joined the $4 and $6 tiers but also the $2 tier to cancel so that you aren't wasting your money. If I did do this I would definitely do the individual sfs links on everything first. I'd not just leave you guys unable to download my stuff.

So, what does that mean for this blog? I'll spare ye, impatient readers, who have already read a lot because I ramble⬇️

Well, as of posting this I still have THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FOUR Strangetown posts in my queue. And I'm not tired of playing that.

I'm looking forward to having an opportunity to do all of the things I've been neglecting. I'm finally going to go through the subfolder within my downloads of everything I'm downloaded the last few months and decide if I wanna keep it in my game or not. And finish default replacing everything. And all my other various little projects I haven't been doing.

Also, I want to start playing Veronaville 😮I've already started downloading lots from kattaty to replace the in-game ones, and I found a cool replacement for the neighborhood map. I am leaning towards making a new sub-blog for this so that you don't have to try and follow Strangetown/LFT posts and Veronaville/ALT posts at the same time. I've only ever played the Veronaville sims for like one day as part of a super failed megahood years ago so I'd like to get to know them.

So basically, I guess I'm a gameplay blog for now? Until I want to create anything again anyways, but I don't know when that will be.

I don't know how to end this post... I'm sorry for the disappointment, but thank you so much for enjoying my stuff 💛💛

Veronaview - Veronaville but reimagined!

SUL SUL! For a while now I wanted to make a version of Veronaville and Pleasantview combined, and seeing as I love Veronaville I thought I would give it some love. So I made a new hood full to the brim of community lots, decorations, CC and hidden community lots. This hood is very decorated and has used optimized lot imposters. NOTE - This is EMPTY as the sims I have used are on an ALT timeline, and uses CC from MANY different creators.

Riverbanks / Bridge / Streetlights all light up at night without the BETTERNIGHTLIFE mod

DISCLAIMERS - seeing as I made this for me I wont be going around to change the lot imposters back from optimized to normal, consider this your warning that this is a very resource heavy hood.

Some lots require your sims to walk there, as the cars will clip with hood deco, such as the teen hangout, its somewhat written in the community lots description if sims can drive there or not.

This hood requires a bunch of CC, in order for ease for everyone else I have compiled a Veronaville collection download folder and included the CC that I did not make that am allowed to share (If I understood their TOU correctly) with the hood, so make sure to look for duplicates.

The CC that is not included, is majority of the walls I used for this project are from my 4T2 Defaulted Walls Collection. The new Tudor walls are included in these files. AND The floors are not included either, sadly I have no way to track which floors I used for this project, so instead of including 900+ floors in the main folder, I figured I would least let people decide if they want that or not, however, not having them in game, would mean there will be the default wood floor in all lots.

Please also note, that this is an EMPTY version of the hood, this is so that I can add and remove sims for future projects. To have Veronaville and Pleasantview sims in this hood, add them as a subhood and then remove said subhoods, all families will be put into the bin.

Veronaville/Académie Le Tour Makeovers

I'm finally sharing my Veronaville/ALT stuff! Hi, if you're just finding me I'm Moyo. Here's my primary blog, where you can see my Strangetown/LFT gameplay as well as where my CC and everything else is. But I didn't want Veronaville stuff to be mixed in and be confusing. So here we are. Anyways, ⬇️

Consort, Tybalt, Juliette and Hermia. Yes, I'm keeping Tybalt's mask.

Patrizio, Isabella, Mercutio and Romeo. Idk how Mercutio ended up so adorable.

Oberon, Titania, Puck and Bottom. I did make them fairies and gave them wings after I took this screenshot. I went back and forth whether I liked the wings or not for a long time but decided yes while playing them.

Albany, Goneril, Miranda, Hal, Desdemona and Ariel. I kept Desdemona's facepaint because it's kinda cute.

Cornwall, Regan, and Kent. I've heard a lot of people have Kent be asexual and/or aromantic so I gave him both traits. But his in-game preference is men so that'll be fun.

Antonio, Beatrice and Benedick. Benedick's blue eyes threw me for a loop and I spent far too long looking all over the wiki to see where he got them from.

Bianca.

Max Flexor and Mitch Indie.

Delilah O'Feefe. I've been waiting for a reason to use those glasses for ages.

Roxie Sharpe, Edwin Sharpe and Jonah Powers. I might change Jonah's hair because I've since downloaded one that I might like better idunno.

And then to save myself households to play I've just lumped the bin young adults into one dorm all together so Tom Freshe, Emily Lee, Phineaus Furley, Chaz Whippler, Ellen Frost and Marla Biggs.

At the moment I've played the Veronaville households all for their 1 day of summer. I've not played the ALT households yet. Now to start filling up my queue.

Getting Schooled at ALT - Annie

Annie chose Academie Le Tour. She lived at Boggs Hall Dorms with eleven other students.

She spent as much time making friends and hanging out as she did studying. She even found someone to love - Thomas Schehl.

Annie "wanted" to get high points influencing other Sims to do stuff. What better way to get back at those coaches always barking in our Sims faces to work out, than to make them work out over a filthy toilet?

Annie made it through all four college years with great grades.

Annie had a graduation party with George, Naenae, and Delilah for guests. Delilah spent the whole party upstairs in Beth's dorm room staring at a dresser with Beth. I have no idea why. And, for the first time ever, one of my Sims had a "Fantastic" party. Wahoo!

Annie's off to Veronaville. I'm thinking of changing the name of that sub-hood but haven't thought of anything I particularly like.

augh. the gonerrrr and kent ! i think theyre both funsies but ive been rotating miss goneril around in my head especially hard recently so she gets a few bonus checks. i think she had a hand (either directly or indirectly) in her sister's death and feels an immense amount of guilt about it... however. i think if there was ever a situation in which she discovered cordelia was still alive (not going to happen. she's dead as fuck. sorry.) she would immediately pull a hanzo overwatch and WITHOUT HESITATION try to kill her again. it's fine. she's really, um. normal.

also even though my design for her is VERYYY different from the maxis design (actually im pretty heavily influenced by @veronavillequiltingbee's alt veronaville design for goneril — CHECK OUT ALT VV IF YOURE A VERONAVILLEHEAD BTW ITS SO GOOD) i still have a fondness for her awesome tiger dress its so cool.

i love kent and his bald head (this is how he got the solid design check. lol) but i need to spin him around a little more and get some characterization i like for him going... it's a little hard though because so much of my characterization of the capps is based on the family business which he Does Not Care About. i think he's fun though. mr. clean if he was gay.

Things i want to do in Veronaville:

- Bring back Claudio and Olivia and make her pregnancy come to term (undecided on the name for the baby but I would assume it would be a boy)

- Contessa Capp is alive, she was meant to be playable originally which we can see from her bio

- I may bring Cordelia and Caliban back too just because IMO VV has too many unnecessarily dead sims. Sure I guess there is the fued but it makes VV seem very empty with all these random dead sims

- Hero Monty deserved better and honestly I might bring her back pregnant just because

- Bring Viola Monty back as a teenager

- Give Viola an identical male twin (Sebastian)

- Potentially keep Viola and Sebastian living in the shadows of Romeo and Mercutio to create some sibling rivalry? Maybe they’re forced to live in the family house with Claudio & Olivia while Romeo & Mercutio live with the grandparents as potential heirs?

- Somehow rename Benedick and Beatrice Monty without taking away from Viola who is already established as a VV character (I hate that they give these names to twins but I don’t like renaming B&B to Viola and Sebastian since the discovery of Viola Monty’s existence)… I was thinking of naming them after Shakespeare’s real life twin children Hamnet and Judith but I’m not sure. The other option is Robson & Crane from Comedy of Errors but I don’t think either of those names sound particularly feminine for Beatrice…

- Create Benvolio and Rosaline from R&J but give them their own separate families so that we don’t just have three families in VV (maybe one of them could be the child of Puck’s bio parents for a twist which would technically make them Puck’s bio sibling?)

- The usual Romeo & Juliet storyline will play out but with more characters alive for the feud i think it would add deeper dynamics (i.e. Cordelia was neutral from Contessa’s bio)

- Tybalt and Mercutio will eventually be a couple… their enemies to lovers storyline is just *chefs kiss*

- I would also like to recreate Puck’s biological parents and potentially Bottom’s too since we’ve had confirmation from the storytelling images and game files that these sims were most definitely deleted

- Hal Capp’s face must be fixed!!! I would also like Miranda to have more involvement - maybe she falls for Benvolio or Rosaline instead of typically getting involved with Mercutio?

- Kent Capp is 100% gay there is no doubt in my mind I’m sorry to those who ship him with Bianca they are just besties

I mayyyy look at the alt VV by dreadpirate and also the more historically accurate VV i’ve seen on MTS and take some inspiration from both of these too but these are the general ideas that I have for an almost ultimate good end VV??

Family feuds and salacious secrets abound while the influence of the fae hangs in the spring air. Either true love blossoms - or lies rain on the town parade...

Portia was on her computer working on her paranormal themed novel when she received a phone call. It was Bianca Monty, a friend of hers.

Bianca invited her for an outing in the city; perhaps this would be a nice opportunity for Portia to unwind from the stress of daily living.

Naturally, they headed to downtown in Portia's automobile. The party also comprised Mercutio, Bianca's nephew, and her two younger brothers, Antonio and Claudio.

They arrived at Downtown, and as soon as they arrived, Bianca approached Portia and said,

"I'd like for you to meet my brother.”  "I heard you required a beta reader, or whatever the phrase was, but I know he's the only one who can become engaged in these things rapidly," she continued.

Portia was usually ecstatic when she met someone new.

"I had no idea you worked with that Capp wench at the law firm, Miss Venice!" " Bianca gasped loudly when she learned that Portia works at the same law firm where Regan Capp currently works.

ma’am what are you suggesting right now 😭 

They are now giving a toast to Bianca for organising this lovely get-up. Mercutio didn’t appreciate it sadly.

Portia just took the initiative to interact with Antonio after dinner and asked him a few things. such as his current employment, financial situation, and desires. She was doing her best to appear amiable, perhaps hoping to get promoted at the law firm she was working for.

The two decided to go to the booth and possibly take pictures for the memories, or perhaps even worse than that, so it's possible that Portia just went a little too far on the friendly part.

Mercutio may be the bozo of the Monty Clan, but he didn't enjoy what he was just hearing. Perhaps it's just his aunt's awful piano playing.

Portia and Antonio emerged from the booth as if nothing had happened, and Bianca noticed them right away. The brunette woman got up from the piano and asked the two what has just happened.

“What the hell were you two doing earlier? Mercutio told me that he’s hearing weird stuff earlier." Portia answered with a smile on her face, "Presumably taking pictures."
