It's Oleander's first day of school and he already kinda hates it.

Back at home, Jenna's finally making friends with her in-laws in between fixing the car. She's a sort of woman that takes forever to get along with, which is unlike the Montys who walk by almost every single day. Romeo became friends with her.

AWWW Willow wanted to become best friends with Harmony Tinker so she invited her over and she brought Rosalind :) she's really trying her best to help her friends all get along... she's so nice

The television broke AGAIN. The school unlocked a few business perks that all went into the financial reward but I'm going to have to remodel the school soon if we're getting all these new students, otherwise I'd just buy a new better television right away.

So Many Capps

Goddammit, I closed the page without saving again. Time to type up the final Capp household! Again!

Last time, I managed to cram the whole family into a shoebox, so Albany immediately pumped Goneril full of quads, just to spite me. They’ll be growing up this round, so I moved them into a bigger house.

Albany: Time to fill this one up with EVEN MORE BABIES. Miranda: Please stop pulling that face.

Mercutio: A PLAGUE UPON YOUR HOUSE. That’s not how the quote goes. Mercutio: Yeah, I’m not stupid enough to curse my own family this time.

Anyway, Ariel enjoys playing ponies while she recuperates.

And Miranda rests by reading stories to Phoebe and Hermione.

I have no idea why Ariel dumped her homework in the attic, but Hal gave her a hand with it anyway.

Anyway, it’s the weekend, so I had Albany take all the children out for the day.

Hal: Never gonna give you up~

Desdemona: Yes, my ass is truly magical. Phoebe: You should be arrested for that pun alone.

Rosalind: -And I still haven’t seen any aliens yet, but I’m gonna keep looking. Cornwall: Excellent work, Rosalind. Stay vigilant. You never know when they might be working with Montys.

Hermione: What’s that? Nerissa: Is it real? Hermione: I don’t think so. Townie: I can hear you, you know.

Promotions all round!

Goneril: OK kids, be good for your dad, see you in a week!

And the week ends with Goneril temporarily moving out to go stay in the main Capp house for the next round! Because I suspect Consort won’t last the whole week, and Juliette will be off to college, and Hermia and Tybalt aren’t due to graduate until the round after, so Goneril will be housesitting. Goneril: Just out of curiosity, what are the squatting laws again? Haha! Funny joke! Until next time!

Introducing my Veronaville playthrough!

Let me introduce you my Veronaville playthrough. Last week I came across veronavillequiltingbee's alternative version of Veronaville and I was completely hooked up by it (if you're interested and you want to download it you can find it HERE)! I always thought VV was a very boring and bland neighborhood and the fact that it only had 3 families already moved in didn't help. However, the changes they made made me want to play it and I thought to share it with you guys!

That being said, this is the play order I'll follow in my playthrough (at least during the first rounds 'til I add more families to the rotation):

Cordelia Capp's household

Juliette Capp has fallen for Romeo, golden child of the rival Monty clan. With Cordelia now at the helm, can the Capps set aside their grudges and put Juliette's happiness first? Or will the family secrets and infighting bring the once powerful empire to its knees?

2. Claudio Monty's household

Claudio Monty's determined to make his now-departed parents proud with his lovely wife Olivia and wonderful children. But will he be able to reconcile his son's romance with his family's sworn enemy?

3. Summerdream household

The Summerdreams' kindly nature and zest for life have cast a romantic spell over Veronaville's youth. But will there be any magic left for Puck? Will Oberon and Titania's plan to end the feud succeed once and for all? Or have the bitten more than they could?

4. Goneril Capp's household

Goneril's wife Rosalind wanted a big family, and she got it. Will their offspring carry on the Capp traditions, or smash the establishment to smithereens? And can Goneril finally take control of the family business they kept afloat this whole time? Or will "mysterious circumstances" force them to forge their own path?

5. Antonio Monty's household

Recently widowed, Antonio must either give up his job at the family restaurant and use his savings to raise his twins Viola and Sebastian, or hire help and keep the job he loves. What will be his role in the family feud that may have cost him his wife?

6. Regan Capp's household

Regan and her husband Cornwall are preoccupied with their careers, but Bianca Monty's affections for Regan's brother Kent have the household on alert. How can Kent get in their heads that nothing's happening between him and Bianca and they just happen to really be gay best friends? And will Regan and Cornwall ever talk about the elephant in the room?

7. Bianca Monty

Bianca Monty is happy to be out on her own living the gay cottagecore dream, but can she find someone to start a family with?

Summerdream Family

At the beginning of fall Titania found out she was pregnant with her and Oberon’s first biological child, daughter Rosalind. Even tough Oberon has been a wonderful father and always stood by Titania’s side, she just didn´t feel the same about him as she once did.  Titania have however found that love she´s been searching for in Goneril Capp and as soon as Titania came clean about her feelings Oberon decided it was time to pack up his things and let Titania pursuit her happiness.  Bottom sadly had to celebrate her birthday without her father, but she will always have her mother and brother by her side.

It’s shot from the very front row of the stalls at the side so, although this causes a lot of problems for the brave person who filmed it, we DO get many nice close-ups and a chance to see the show from quite an unusual angle at times! Very clear sound throughout.

VeronaHills, Round Six: Capp (B)

Rosalind couldn't recall the exact day it happened. One morning, all four of her children poured their own cereal and made their own tea.

It must have been somewhere around Ariel's transition from tween to teen; Rosalind supposed she should have prepared for the en masse independence of her offspring, but was a parent ever truly prepared? Granted, Goneril seemed to easily adjust, as they donned comfy jeans and less severe blazers for the school run. Again, Ariel in particular was a catalyst for change, as Goneril enjoyed the engaging conversation of their clever youngest (already the proud recipient of a culinary arts scholarship).

Any opportunity for chaos completely dissipated with the departure of Miranda for university.

Rosalind stood in the kitchen and missed the mess. She thought of Cordelia, adopting a boy when Hermia moved out. She thought of other children, waiting for a hand to take theirs.

"A girl," Goneril said, after considering Rosalind's proposal. "We'll adopt a girl."

A tactical agreement in a matriarchal family - now that, Rosalind was prepared for.

VeronaHills, Round Six: Capp (A)

The thought of an empty nest did not sit well with Cordelia.

True, she wanted all her children to go to university and illustrate the Capp name's effortless entry into academia - but the consequence was an empty house (save Duncan the cat). When Hermia laced up her gothic boots, gave a goodbye hug, and promised to call once she's arrived on campus, Cordelia felt a chapter closing against her will. So, one afternoon, she invited her sister-in-law Rosalind to appraise the selection of toys in the den.

"These toys are lovely." Rosalind nodded with approval. "Nathaniel will enjoy them when Regan comes to visit."

"Oh!" uttered Cordelia. "Of course, Nathaniel. Yes, I really must invite them for tea sometime. But no, these toys are for Gavin."

Rosalind blinked. "Who is Gavin?"

Cordelia's smile jostled a glimmer into her grey eyes. "My son. I've adopted a boy."

"Boy" was the key word - Cordelia had no interest in upsetting the Capp cart by introducing another potential heiress, especially when her eldest daughter had that honour. She hand-picked Gavin from the orphanage for his kind demeanour, as the other orphans seemed to look up to him. It didn't hurt that his eyes were the colour of stone. Perhaps that would make it easier for him to carve his own legacy while carrying the Capp name.

VeronaHills, Round Four: Roth

Stella had to give Morty credit - he'd brought as much moneyed refinery as he reasonably could to their new home in the countryside.

Evening guests were summoned to candlelit dining areas to be regaled with tales of the city, and when Morty stood and announced a tour of his private art and artifact collection, they moved along with excited murmurs. One such night, Stella remained at the outdoor setting with Rosalind, a fellow lady from Cordelia Capp's breakfasts.

"I feel I've left this far too long, but I must apologise for previous conduct," Stella said, pulling from rehearsed words in the mirror.

Rosalind lowered her fork and - snorted! "Couldn't hold your wine at breakfast?" She sent forth a dry chuckle. "Dear - you could have at least changed out of your bathers before attending the table."

Stella snapped her agape mouth shut. Neurons frantically fired as she searched for the words: "Next time, I can assure you, I will steer clear of the bottle, and the spa-"

"It's not me you need to impress," Rosalind said suddenly. Her green gaze met Stella's, filled with intensity. "I like you. Looking back, I found your behaviour amusing. But Cordelia? Well..." Her eyes dropped to her plate. "Let's just say, it's a good thing your husband focuses on appearances."

This indictment was enough for Stella to wish Rosalind a good night and retire to bed early. She met Xander in the upstairs hallway. Her little darling boy was now a teenager, and he lamented that he was outgrowing his Grand Prix-themed bedroom decor (and literally outgrowing his racecar bed). Stella agreed to a renovation.

Appearances had to match expectations, after all.

VeronaHills, Round Four: Monty (Uni)

A Mission University open day drew some familiar faces to campus. Mercutio relished in greeting them on his turf.

Any reservations about moving out of the family home were cast to the wind when it became clear that Mission University had no Monty or Capp history. Mercutio was the first Monty to set foot in these lecture halls (he frequented the arts building for his major). This was his opportunity to clear a path for future generations to explore their identities outside of the microcosm of bad blood that was Riverblossom Hills.

Perhaps it was too much to expect the older generation to recognise the tides of change - Claudio specifically approved of Mercutio's date to the MU mixer because she wasn't a Capp. Roxie politely nodded along with the observation but Merc saw the question in her eyes. Seasons could change as much as they liked but explaining the feud to outsiders was going to be a constant conversation... for now.

Rosalind really brought Mall directly home from school just so they could fight even more. the sadistic little beasts. anyways, the party was a disaster. everyone had a bad time. life was miserable.

VeronaHills, Round Three: Capp (B)

In lieu of close connections in her own household, Rosalind strikes up a friendship with her nephew Tybalt.

The eldest boy of the new Capp generation has always worn his destiny on his sleeve. He's fiercely protective of his sisters in a way that Rosalind wishes Hal could be (her own boy is rather indifferent to the Capp traditions). Marrying into the Capps was an inherent agreement with matrilineal inheritance - being born into it didn't come with the benefit of choice. But as Tybalt confided in her over coffee at the market, Rosalind realised that he was relieved to not be the heir. The pressure was on someone else's shoulders to uphold the family line and the values of the company, leaving him to explore his identity in peace. Rosalind was glad for him.

If only Rosalind knew Miranda was exploring alternative avenues to being an upstanding Capp representative by sneaking out with common folk like Jules O'Mackey. If Miranda gets her way, her parents will never find out... but she'd secretly love it if they did, just for the looks on their faces.

Goneril had the day off. Ariel brought her friend over and then ignored him to be forced to watch cartoons with her mom.

I think the only person who is capable of this that she's been with lately is Ashley Fucking Pitts. God fucking damn it. He's been trying to squirm his way into the Capp family for so long now. I feel like the Capps would look down on babies born out of wedlock, so looks like there's yet another Capp wedding on the horizon (unless she sends the baby out for adoption).

Rosalind is a fucking menace and Mall Goth uses her much more powerful influence to turn the whole town against her. This is her villian origin story.
