So now that I've figured out why Hira might go for Astarion ... I am now struggling to figure out why Astarion would go for them in the long run. she was surprisingly hard to find

it was pretty boring

there was like one interesting part where a guy bumped into a woman serving food and some guys yelled at him

pretty funny

majority of the train ride you were finding dead bodies and watching the same people walk around

soon the amount of passengers started getting smaller and smaller each stop

it was somewhat peaceful until literally everything went to shit

soon it was only the horror, the father, the prince, the ladybug and the fruits on the train

you had already realized some sketchy shit was going on once you had found the wolf and hornet early on

from then on your new mission was to find the other hitmen on the train and turn them in, instead

obviously that plan went to shit

you ended up finding lemon before tangerine had, along with yuichi

you hadn't really gotten to know either of them, you just saw them passing on the train

you were with ladybug when tangerine found out prince was a diesel

you were very iffy of her bc of her white girl tears yk

eventually you proved to be correct once the elder showed up

you kinda just got up slowly from your seat and went to sit with the elder while the prince ran down the train

it was a silent ride until the boys started arguing

you hair was fucked up, you had already taken off your heels bc what the fuck, and now these 3 grown ass men were fighting like hooligans

the elder got them to shut up

but it was pretty funny when yuichi jumped on lemons back ngl

you let out a little snort, yuichi glanced up at you

lemon handled the front, ladybug was the distraction, the elder would wait for the white death, while you and yuichi would wait in the middle

you made small talk to pass the time until you arrived in kyoto

you could imagine he was pretty tired, so he gave very short answers

he had a spear he made with ducttape while u had the piece of metal sharp and bent at the end

you established he was gonna hide near the bar while you hid under table

everyone was pretty much fine

you both worked very well together ans got to the front of the train towards the elder

both yuichi and you were on the verge of passing out and throwing up from exhaustion

the train had began to move very VERY fast

yuichi was bleeding ALOT

then he chucked a waterbottle at the white deaths head and the elder got him

then the train got ripped apart while you all were fuckin spinning in the air

you were holding onto a bar attached to seat

yuichi hands started to weaken and he let go of what he was holding onto

tbh he thought he was fucked until you grabbed his wrist

he was holding onto you for dear fuckin life

once the train stopped moving everything was pretty much fucked

everyone was bleeding, bruised and beaten badly

yuichi pulled you out from the rubble and helped you to your feet

you thought everything was fine, since the white death accidently killed himself

then the prince showed up and delivered her monologue

you were pretty much over it and leaning on yuichi shoulder

then she got hit by a truck

"well hot damn"

ladybug left with his handler, and you said your goodbyes to the unlucky guy

your handler unfortunately was still in tokyo

you decided to go home with the elder and father

you would only have to walk a bit until your handler could come get you

"thank you.. for grabbing my hand"

"it was no problem, we are kind of bonded for life now that we've killed hitmen on a bullet train together"

he let out a small chuckle at that

he admired how you could still joke after what had just happened

unbeknownst to the father, the elder gave him a small smile, knowing his son all too well

Alright good people I have seen Fast X! Thoughts will be under the cut for spoilers. It gets pretty long.

First and foremost! I absolutely loved how the stakes managed to top F9; I didn’t think they could outdo going into space but they did it! Holy crap son!

Dante motherloving Reyes! At first I was gonna say that is all but that will not do him justice. Dante is hands down the best freaking villain this franchise ever had. Jason Momoa understood the assignment and cemented himself a fav. My dude was so hammy and absolutely took over every scene he was in. And his villainy, the way he deconstructed the power of family, how he got everyone on his side? *Chef’s kiss*

Aimes, this dude. I will give the writing for this dude props. When you go into the Fast movies you usually expect whatever government person (like Brian, Hobbs, Palindrome in Spy Racers) to side with Dom and his crew. This dude did not, deadass pulled a Riley and I should’ve peeped he was a bad guy the moment he vehemently said he hates barbeques and family. Who hurt you dude? Anyhoo when he shot down the plane with Tej, Ramsey, Han, and Roman had me sit up in the movie theater. I later burst out laughing after finding out the guy who plays Aimes also played Aquaman on Smallville.

Speaking of Roman; that dude finally got some character development! The plane scene with him and Tej almost (mind you almost) made me scream in the movie theater. I honestly did not think that he would, I was to used to homeboy being just mostly comic relief.

We need to talk about Jakob. You do NOT give me fun uncle Jake and then do THAT. Nope, no, that’s just disrespectful. In a series known for bringing back dead people he better had, I don’t care how convoluted, lived.

So ngl I was surfing Google on my phone and got spoiled TWICE OVER about Gisele and Luke. Honestly I shouldn’t be surprised about Gisele because like I just said regarding Jakob, people don’t truly die in this franchise. Also if Owen can somehow survive what happened to him, Gisele can survive being shot and falling out of that hummer on to the tarmac. The Rock coming back? Now that was a surprise. Because of the infamous hostility between him and Vin Diesel, I really didn’t see him coming back. Maybe to do Hobbs and Shaw 2 but that’s it.

I remember back in like 2013/2014 there was mentioning of a female lead Fast movie. With the way this movie was set up I can now see the players for this. You got Letty, Gisele, Cipher (as the obviously token evil teammate), possibly Tess and possibly Isabel for this team. I also say bring in Ms. Nowhere from Spy Racers due to the fact that one of the Agency members who declined to go after Dom was a female. It could’ve been her and it would make a nice connection with Spy Racers.

Anyway I am definitely waiting for Fast 11 because I need to see how this all ends. That cliffhanger they left us with? Had me on the edge of my seat. There’s really no one possibly save for Hobbs who can help them and he’s somewhere else. Ramsey and the crew are severely injured, Letty is in Antarctica while Cipher, Jakob’s possibly dead, and Mia is...somewhere. Deckard is off to help his mother. The stakes have truly been raised for the coming end of this franchise.

@grbambi63's theory really made me peek into Daimler's 2018, 2019, and 2023 annual report to see the difference between Zetsche's management to Kallenius' management.

Zetsche's objective:

Kallenius had a similar objective on that too but I won't include it for today because we're not talking about the similarity but... the one thing Kallenius had that Zetsche didn't.

2019 & 2023's Kallenius-term annual report objectives:

Lower cost base. Reduction of (...) costs.

This isn't just some move that Kallenius added just because he loved saving some pennies but it might be due to the chaos that happens in his first year as a CEO. I am going to highlight two major events here.

1) Diesel Emission Scandal

In the beginning of 2018 (Zetsche's term), Daimler was accused of having shit devices on their control software for their US products but they denied this allegations. Then it was reported that the US authorities were investigating them for diesel emission cheating scandals.

In June 2019, Daimler had to recall 60,000 Mercedes diesel powered cars in Germany, the model affected is the Mercedes-Benz GLK 220 SUV produced between 2012 and 2015, the car is fitted with software aimed at distorting emissions tests. And during the same year, Daimler was fined 870 million euros in Germany for "negligent violation of supervisory duties" in relation to not fully complying with emissions regulations. In 2020, they had to pay $2.2B in settlement.

The scandal got serious actually as "The Daimler boss is also putting the german federal government in trouble. It has its back against the wall internationally because of the fraud committed by its flagship industry. US President Donald Trump has targeted Daimler in the trade dispute and threatened that he no longer wants to see Mercedes cars on Fifth Avenue in New York" source

This crisis ironically started at Zetsche's management but the peak of the case was handled during Kallenius' early stage of leadership 💀💀💀 (I FELT BAD FOR HIM NGL LMAOOO)

2) COVID 19

Do you think Kallenius' trials decrease after his first year? No. COVID-19 happens. They still profit as they are THEE Mercedes but sales were slow at one point. Kallenius and other executives had to take pay cuts due to COVID and even before, COVID he also had to struggle with Daimler's stocks dropping drastically while having to deal with the lawsuit and satisfying the investors. Looking at how they have interesting differences as CEO. Kallenius is definitely all about cost efficient and maybe this was due to the crisis he felt in 2021 and as a preparation for Daimler's future ventures in focusing more about EQs

Just a personal thought from me, but what if the reason Kallenius was pissed at LH in 2021 is caused by all these financial wrecks Mercedes are in during these years? They were hit again and again. To add that, Kallenius is very adamant on his cost efficient and cost reduction objectives after these hardships. And at that time, just after 2020, LH demands a raise. A raise from a company who is literally in the trenches fighting for a surplus and good result from all the legal battles they're in and COVID that caused the board members and employees to get paid cuts. Maybe this was what pissed Kallenius off? Because at that time, Mercedes wasn't doing so well and suddenly, LH asked for pay raise to a guy who is very set and clear about saving every pennies 😭😭 That must've pissed the hell out of him. I'm not saying Lewis is wrong but kinda 💀💀 to think that the butterfly effect from that moment of their contract negotiation in 2021 to what is happening rn in 2024 💀💀.

If that is true then Zetsche is the catalyst for the butterfly effect happening rn:

Hey,remember Thomas and the Magic Railroad? That movie with the Thomas the Tank Engine,an evil diesel with a claw and a bunch of humans? Yeah,I like that movie. I mean, of course,it has a lot of flaws,and it definitely wasn't the best thing that came out of the franchise,but even so,it's kind of hard for me to dislike this movie.

And today,it's apparently been 22 years since that movie came out. I don't have anything prepared but,also by chance,I remembered that I put this in my drafts.....for some reason. Maybe it's a good time to post now. (Btw, this drawing is also a little old. From 2 years ago to be specific)

I don't remember exactly how I got this idea from,but you can see that it has something to do with some of the...peculiar scenes,that this movie has. Like that scene at Tidmouth Sheds,where Mr. Conductor is talking to a ball and a bat...for some reason. (And yes, I know the bolt and bat don’t talk/aren’t alive in the movie,I just thought it would be funnier that way)

Or that scene where he gets a note from... a rabbit? That doesn't even appear in the movie??? And the two micro-scenes where a tumbleweed speaks.

This film is a trip. But I still adore it.

Ngl,it would be nice to do something with this idea. Maybe some comics where they get into everyday misadventures. But this is something the present self is not really able to do at the moment. Maybe something for the future me? Idk. Will see.
