Weird Horsegirl Ganondorf fun fact of today is that in Ocarina of Time Ganondorf rides without a bridle! Even in the concept art his horse lacks any bit or reigns (as does Epona, and every other horse).
What it mainly means is that the N64 didn't have the power to mess with an unnecessary complex item to render -- but what it could be interpreted to mean for the sake of fandom fun is that the horses are raised and trained to be ridden bridleless.
Not to be up my own headcanons about horses being a big thing in Gerudo Valley and Malon's mom being Gerudo and there being a reason that Gan's horse is specified as a pure black Gerudo Stallion because other Gerudo horses don't look like that but -- have you seen the dressings on the other horses?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All of them, even Zelda's horse, have a call to Gerudo patterning. Except for Epona, who was only able to be approached, touched, and ridden by Link and presumably Malon herself.
It's no secret that the Gerudo are more or less pulled from African and Arabic cultures, but fun fact about Arabian horses, they used to be given as prized gifts to royalty and important political figures.
So if they are inspired by Arabian horse history --
Although the specific area of the Arabian Peninsula where the breed originated can’t be pinpointed, it is widely accepted that around 2500 B.C., the Bedouin people were responsible for developing the desert horses that became the ancestors of the Arabian horse. The nomads’ keen horse sense and meticulous attention to proper care and breeding created an animal that could withstand the harsh environment of the desert, surviving extreme heat and cold with little water and the food they shared with their handlers. A life of travel also required horses with great lung capacity, endurance and stamina. (x)
It's very possible that all of the horses in OoT have ancestry in Gerudo Valley!

Ohhh! Can Mary's conversation with young farmer Anthony?
Ohhh what did Mary say to Anthony??? you can't leave us hanging like this, please?
We can see just a little from mary's point of view
Mary Sharma was not a foolish woman, no matter what her mother and father would have liked to be believed. she had sensed her daughters slight apprehension, when they'd come to London to make her debut. Even as Mary's own mother had sighed,
"She is a very pretty girl, though. One can only hope she makes better choices than you did."
"I'm very happy, with the choices I've made Mama." She'd sighed, watching Kate across the from, her brow furrowed as she spoke with a Mr Brandson, Mary thought he might have been, Kate's eyes rolling as she walked away.
She watched Kate grow more and more dissatisfied, paying less and less interest, and then she saw it. The first real, genuine smile she'd seen since they arrived in London. Right there as Kate stood on the street, talking to a working class man, a farmer from his broad chest and the sun on his skin. His horse meant for work, not riding for pleasure. And there was something so beautiful about the smile on kate's face, she felt guilty for pulling her away.
"Kate? Darling, come along, Appa and Edwina are expecting us for tea."
Kate had smiled again as they's walked away, kept smiling the whole way home, looking back over her shoulder as though she might see the handsome young man standing there still.
"How was the duke today?" Edwina asked curiously as they sat down to tea her head tilted
"Who?" Kate asked a little distractedly.
"The man you met when you left the house, Kate." Edwina sighed far too exasperatedly for a girl of just ten.
"Oh, he was lovely." the same tiny smile on kate's face as she looked away that Mary was certain wasn't for the duke of sunderland.
And she saw it again as they sat down to break their fasts the next morning, the hem of her dress muddy from the morning rides Mary was saw Kate thought no one knew about. A secret smile on her face that Mary was sure was for the man they'd met that afternoon.
Mary felt guilty, of course she did for rising early, watching from the window as Kate disappeared with her hair flying out behind her and a small smile on Mary's own face as she watched her come back, happier and happier every day. Mary would watch as Kate would run outside, the handsome young man already waiting for her by the gate, a smile on his face as he caught her around the waist, spinning her around in the light rain, their lips meeting in a tender kiss and a sigh built in Mary's chest. The memory rising in her of when she'd been the debutante, a diamond of the first water who'd mistaken a former clerk, a widower, for the Earl of Davenport and been half in love with him before her Mama had appeared at her shoulder tugging her away to introduce her to the real Earl.
And she'd sworn, she'd sworn to herself when she'd stood in the church and married the love of her life that her daughters wouldn't have to threaten to runaway and they wouldn't have to make the choice she did when she'd finally stood in front of her father with tears in her eyes and spat at him You can't send him away papa. I won't marry that earl and I'm pregnant. What will you do with my bastard then?! They would be free to choose. And she'd made the same promise when they'd left Somerset and she made it again, to herself as she watched Kate stand in that courtyard with tears in her eyes and her fingers twisting through his hair. Right there in the rain, her voice aching.
"Let me talk to my Appa. Let me talk to him, tell him I want to marry you and if he won't let us I'll run away with you anyway because I love you and I want to be your wife, Anthony."
And as Kate walked away Mary made her choice. Truly, she'd made it years ago, and perhaps it was different than almost every woman of the ton would have made. But Mary had never been them.
"Just a moment, young man."
The man, Anthony, Kate had called him, banged right into the stable door on the way to his horse, scrambling in the mud in an effort to find his feet, his eyes wide, terrified.
"I-I-I'm sorry, my Lady, I took a wrong turn, I thought."
"No you didn't." Mary said softly, holding out her hand to help him up. "You know who I am?"
The man's hand shook, as he took her hand, getting to his feet, squaring his shoulders, tilting his chin proudly. "Lady Mary Sharma."
She hummed, "Yes, the mother of the girl who's been sneaking our to see you Mr-?"
"Bridgerton, Anthony Bridgerton, ma'am." He clenched his jaw for a moment, so young with his hair falling in his eyes.
"And you are how old?"
"I'll be Nineteen this September, Ma'am." So Young.
"You are not from London, Mr Bridgerton. What is your occupation?"
He cleared his throat, "I'm from Aubrey in Kent. My family owns a farm there and I work the land with my father."
Mary hummed, "You are not a gentleman."
He took a deep breath. "I am not, and I realise I have asked no permission to court your daughter but I cannot find it in me to apologise for doing such." There was kindness in him, she could see, had seen it in his smile every day when he looked at Kate, Pride as well as he stood in front of her ready to face the consequences. "I love her, Lady Mary, I've asked her to be my wife and Kate means to accept."
Mary's heart hammered in her chest, aching for her daughter, falling in love without her, too scared to tell her. "Are you a good man, sir?"
His jaw clenched. "I like to think so, Ma'am. I work hard, and I don't have much but anything I have I will give to her. She loves me, and I love her, if you send me away I will-"
Mary cleared her throat, smiling gently. "You misunderstand me, Mr Bridgerton. I don't mean to do anything but help you."
"Lady Mary I-"
"I was young once as well, Mr Bridgerton. Young and in love with a man whom no one wanted for me. My daughter will not make the choices I made, and she won't even know it."
His chest was heaving, stood in the courtyard, his eyes wide, a little hopeful. "I'm not sure how you can help."
Mary sighed, picking his cap up from the ground for him. "Mr Bridgerton, you are a very sweet boy, but you will learn, a smart man listens to his wife. Have you any money?"
"Yes ma'am, I-"
"My husband will arrange for you to come in three days time. Got to the Tailor's next to the tea shop across from the far end of the park, give him my name and he will make you a morning coat. If you've not enough money tell him I will settle the remainder of you bill."
He stared at her, this boy who'd been so handsome he'd carried off her daughter without even meaning to, hardly daring to hope. "Lady Mary, I don't know how to thank you."
"You will be a good husband to my daughter. That is how you will thank me."
"I will. I will make her a good husband, I promise. I'll make you glad you helped me. I promise."
Mary sighed, "Good, now be off with you."
"Sweet boy." Mary sighed as she looked at her future son in law, scrambling onto his horse and she went inside and got to work
"The Duke of Sunderland has asked for Kate's hand." Tharman sighed as they settled to bed that night, the candles burning low around him. "I've no idea what to do. I don't even think she likes him."
"She doesn't." Mary sighed, setting her book aside. "I'm going to tell you something and you are going to remember that your second daughter was very nearly born the wrong side of the blanket."
Tharman froze, barely breathing as he said "Put me out of my Misery then."
"Kate is going to come to you tomorrow and tell you she's been meeting a young man in secret and-"
"She's been what?!"
Mary sighed, "Yes, Darling, when she goes out riding in the morning."
"When she-?"
"Goes out riding, Tharman, keep up. His name is Anthony, Mr Bridgerton, He's a Farmer from Kent and she's accepted his proposal."
Her husband stared at her open mouthed in shock, his mind taking a moment to catch up. "I'm not sure what I'm-?"
"You're going to give her a little bit of a hard time and then give in rather easily. Darling. She loves him, and that's the end."
"Do I have a choice?"
"No, Darling." She kissed his cheek "He'll be calling in a few days time."
"Am I at least allowed to ask what he's like?" He sighed exasperatedly.
"He's very handsome, I can see why he's turned her head."
"I don't want to hear anymore, actually." He grumbled. "God, this is just like Kate. She's so strong willed."
"Rather. we did quite well with her."
"Yes, we did."

Zorroku and Peaches Part 3- Original
Tumblr media
Because like an IDIOT, I just DELETED the old one instead of just...leaving it for reference. So, here is the old part 3- restored to how it originally was before the rewrite.
Zorroku and Peaches
 Part 3
When you finally arrived in the Thunder Herd Clan village which consisted mainly of vast and beautiful, luxurious tents, which to you looked very movable. It caused you fear that you wouldn't be able to plant the seeds and be there long enough to see them sprout plants and there were people still putting up tents which made you think that they had just moved here because while there were hundreds of corrals set up. And dozens of horses in each one
Crowthu went around the village introducing you and to your surprise, everyone seemed happy and excited to meet you. Especially when Crowthu simply introduced you as the new member of his family- 'Marfu Daughter- Peaches'. You expected them to sneer at that idea, having a human as a member of the warchief's family but instead they simply nodded in understanding and agreement and smiled warmly at you. Which unsettled you a bit and made you feel like at any moment the floor was going to drop and that at any moment all this pleasantness was going to vanish. This shouldn't be happening, every account you had ever heard about the Thunder Herd Clan said that they were vicious and horrible, even among other orcs. The only way they would be this nice to you is if they knew your secret and this filled you with dread.
Then you were taken to the warchief's family's personal, but very vast and super luxurious tent where incense was burning, filling the tent with the most heavenly aroma and lit up by gorgeous lanterns throughout making the rich colors of the tent ceilings and walls seem even richer where an old woman orc dressed very well and a younger woman orc by comparison, who by the way her hair was braided and the way she was completely decked out in finery, led you to believe she was the warchieftess but she looked very familiar to you because you knew who she was but she looked at you in disgust before glaring at her husband who followed in behind you who quickly seemed to assure her something in Pregu that you could still barely grasp. It seemed to be along the lines of- 'she isn't for me, she's for our sons' before she seemed to be appeased by that but still held you with a critical gaze before she seemed to weigh and measure you by just looking at you before the older woman hit her arm and say something else to her in Pregu before the older woman turned to address you.
"Welcome home." The older woman greeted you warmly in the common tongue and the warchieftess seemed reluctant and wary if not very resentful to offer you the same greeting but judging by the way she finally offered one very begrudgingly, after looking away from her husband who was still planted like a tree directly behind you and glaring at her to greet you properly, told you she wasn't happy you were there at all and you knew why she would hate you, but until she learned the truth in her own time there was little you could do- you still needed to mind your manners and tried to make your first time meeting them go as smoothly as possible.
"Thank you, it's good to be home." You offered meekly so as not to offend the older woman, avoiding the warchieftess' gaze and kept your gaze on the older woman, offering her a small but brave smile as the older woman introduced herself as Mama Arob, Crowthu's mother and the warchieftess Yotul.
"Come, put your eagle on this perch and drink tea with me," Arob beckoned you and you quickly went over to the 'perch' which was a heavy branch pushed into the ground, but it was surprisingly solid and Razor took to the branch and stayed put but still watched over you as you came over to her and sat down on the cushions that surrounded the fire as close to the older woman as you physically could by the fire, sensing she would protect you the best before she poured you a cup of tea and you gratefully took it before she offered you a jar of honey and you took it and quickly added some to the tea before you took a stirrer and stirred it in and took a sip, a grin spreading on your lips because this was delicious tea, really some of the best tea you've ever had the pleasure of drinking and you quickly drank half the cup before she refilled it for you, the warm liquid soothing you as the incense relaxed you before the sons left and came back a few moments later, Zorroku himself served you and his grandmother a very large roast of what you assumed was horse. Already sliced into bite size pieces and flat bread that was a bit hard and stiff with some roasted onions and you ate after the old woman invited you to and started eating too from the same plate and so you did as she did, taking off a layer of soft, roasted onion and using it wrap around the cube of horse meat. To your surprise, the roasted horse was similar to beef, but it wasn't spiced hardly at all, except for the same pink salt from the mountains, which was normal for most orcs in the interior of the continent and so you reached into your satchel and got out a dried pepper and started to crush it and rip it, careful to save the seeds before the warchieftess got up and stomped over to you as Razor suddenly spooked, screamed and quickly swooped down to your shoulder to scream at Yotul but she ignored him as you quickly grabbed his feet and put him on the other side of you, between yourself and Arob to protect him from her as she took all the crushed pepper you had prepared and retreated again to eat it with her own meal, your whole body going tense as you braced yourself for her to hit you and closed your eyes, fearing the worst as her husband and other sons glared at her as she did so but she ignored them. You peeked open your eyes a moment later and relaxed as you watched her retreat again before you purred and chirped to Razor, giving him a bite of horse to eat on his perch as you pointed back to it as he obeyed you and took the piece of meat very carefully from your fingers and jumped up and quickly flapped his wings to get back on his perch before you looked to the older woman who looked at you very apologetically as she herself looked quite embarrassed as did her son and her grandsons, Zorroku palming his face in embarrassment before you tried to figure out a way to turn that rudeness around, you had almost gotten used to the really gentle and respectful way Crowthu and Zorroku and even Nar were treating you but Yotul reminded you of the very real reality of this situation. Yotul had not been there to agree to the alliance or the terms pertaining to you, so you assumed she didn't know anything of it and therefore had not agreed to it herself. At least she didn't actually strike you as she took your crushed pepper.
"Would anyone else like some crushed pepper with their meal?" You asked as you finally looked up and looked out over the rest of the family who had gathered opposite you to eat their own dinner and watch you as you finally made eye contact with them again. The ones who had been critical before were now eyeing you curiously if not very apologetically themselves before they all nodded yes and you nodded back before you reached into your food satchel again, pulling out more peppers and spices and your pestle and mortar and began to crush it all together. The warchieftess looked offended that you had seemed to be holding out from her but a firm hand on her arm by Crowthu himself and a dirty warning glare kept her right where she was- to protect you- was all that was needed. Once you were done, you gave Arob the first taste, dipping the roasted horse into it and offering it to her respectfully, since she was clearly the only elder present, her status as former warchieftess and mother to the current warchief made her the highest ranking person there, even if she was a woman, which she was greatly pleased with.
"What does it lack My Lady?" You asked her respectfully, not wanting to use her name just yet, not unless she corrected you to use her name as she chewed and was blown away by the taste and the explosion of flavors in her mouth.
"Nothing, and call me Mama Arob, Peaches, I said you were home, no need for that formality here." She answered reassuringly and soothingly rubbed your back affectionately before you nodded in understanding but you could practically feel the hostility rolling off of Yotul and you had never felt further from home, you were an unwelcome guest at best- a scourge and a pest at worst, there was no way Yotul would ever let you feel at home. So then you tasted it yourself, looking into the mortar and tilting your head as you considered the flavor of it all before you reached back into your bag and produced an orange before you crushed the insides by rolling it on the floor before you cut it in half and juiced it into the mortar and pounded that into it before you did it again, the warchief's family continuing to watch you curiously before you repeated the process, Arob literally moaned when she tasted it again before you used the pestle to get some of the spiced sauce onto your own shared roast as the whole family seemed to quickly stand up and come over to you from their spots on the cushions other side of the large fire in the middle of the tent.
"Oh! I would have come over there..." You tried to say as you tried to find your feet but Arob gently stopped you with her hand coming to touch your arm and softly moved you to sit down again as Crowthu sat on the other side of you protectively while his wife sat on the other side of him as you offered him the mortar before he used the pestle to get some of it out over his own roast before his wife took it and got it before she handed it to all her sons who were now behind you, Zorroku and Nar literally pushed each other to try to sit directly behind you but had to split the space so that all you had to do was turn your head to the left and you could see Nar behind your left shoulder while Zorroku was behind your right, all of them making the same moaning keens the old woman had made which made you happy that they obviously liked it, Mama Arob and her son smiling at each other at the sight of your shy smile to yourself.
"What will you need to do this again?" Crowthu asked, happy and pleased at how much you were already improving things despite his wife nearly ruining it all.
"A garden, this fruit grows on a tree that will last generations but takes years to grow and develop." You explained as you held up the remainder of the orange for him. "And these peppers and things grow on plants that must be cultivated within a growing season." You answered. "But if the clan moves often to keep up with the grazing of herds, I don't know if that's possible." You added softly as you ducked your head again, not knowing if that was the right answer before Arob got you another cup of tea, a different kind this time and added a big dollop of honey to mask the bitter taste and as you continued to drink it, you felt your whole body grow heavier and heavier as sleep clouded your brain before you finally fell asleep, your head falling to rest on Arob's shoulder and once you did, she put a hand over your ear before she began to bark orders at everyone who quickly found their feet again and did as they were told by their paternal grandmother while Razor damn near had a fit and swooped in to try to fight everyone off.
"She's fine! She's fine, she's sleeping!" Mama Arob tried to soothe the bird as she helped you lie down, putting a pillow beneath your head and a blanket over your body to keep you warm on the cushions as everything was prepared and her cauldron was brought in from the adjoining kitchen tent as Razor got on your chest and chirped at you and tried to nuzzle your face, neck and chest with his beak to get you to wake up before finally just laying down on your chest and hissing, screaming and trying to bite anyone who came close to you.
"Goodness gracious, we won't hurt her! Calm down! You're worse than an overprotective guard dog!" Arob chided the eagle who simply glared at her return. "Now, let's see what this sweet peach is really made of." Arob grinned as she began to ceremoniously put things into a cauldron over the fire that would reveal all your secrets as well as your full potential as her son, his wife and her grandsons gathered around to look at the surface of the cauldron where everything would be shone while her granddaughters stayed in the kitchen to care for their little ones.
"Just like you said, she made the best meal we had ever had, spiced the goats extremely well and had a peach in her pocket and she's just as sweet as the peaches themselves." Zorroku informed his grandmother proudly.
"And it was worse than prying any stone from a crown trying to get her out of there, the whole clan took offense to us, Khagra's sons almost broke the alliance off and beheaded us at the table once Khagra agreed to it, he shouldn't of, his wife and his whole family was pissed at him and neither he or his sons will get bedded until we return her safe and unharmed Yotul. Do you have any idea how you just fucked us all over with that little stunt trying to prove you're the biggest bitch in the room? Do you know what I had to agree to- to bring her here? I swore an oath for me and this whole household, this whole damn clan, damn near a blood oath, I was ready for it, that no one would harm her, no one would touch her and that she will be inspected from head to toe and will be interviewed privately when she gets back and if there was any harm done to her at all, in any way shape or form, even a bad or mean word said to her, the alliance is off and there will be war at our village, the crows from the clan followed us all the way home, the whole clan has connections with the land and animals themselves, her relationship to that bird is not unique in the Black Wolf White Rock Clan, they all own wolves for crying out loud. That's how special she is Yotul and you have shamed and dishonored this whole family today by disrespecting her and having no manners. I will demote you from being warchieftess and find another wife if you so much as look at her wrong from now on. What is your problem?! She has done nothing to you, she is as innocent and guileless as the day is long on the summer solstice and you have absolutely no reason or any right at all to treat her the way you have and yet, she proved herself better than you by keeping her own cool head and her own composure and not taken offense even when you maliciously meant to give it. She has more grace in the tips of her pinkies than you've ever had in your life in your whole being. I know you weren't there for the alliance but you will become aware of it and if you can not be nice to her, you will not be around her at all until you learn to respect her as much as I do which is a hell of a lot, way more than I do you right now." Crowthu leveled at Yotul and Yotul stared at her husband in horrified shock, her own tears glazing her eyes before he turned to his mother to continue his story.
"The guards at the gate even accused us of putting a knife to her back so she wouldn't cry out for help and I thought they were going to slaughter us right then and there, but you were right, once the jewel was out of it's socket, she was the one that made sure we got out of there safe and unscathed. I was so proud of her. She's smart as a whip and that eagle of hers is something else, the more you're around her the more you appreciate just how much of a special gem she is, surely the biggest and most brilliant gemstone I've ever had the pleasure of being in the presence of. She speaks in riddles for the fun of it, she climbs mountains to get eagle eggs, she kills deer and wolves with perfect accuracy, she has a depth of her character that is deeper than the mountains are tall, just give her a little bit of kindness and compassion and she warms up like literal sunshine, in fact that's what she's known as back home, Sunshine, and she lives up to it, her smiles themselves could light up whole caves, the two meals she's made for me have been the best meals I've ever had in my life so far." Crowthu explained.
"Good, surprised she was human huh?" Arob teased them all.
"Yes," they all answered.
"You said she was family though." Yalak one of the sons recalled, maybe that was why his mother hated you. Since his mother was so bitter about her own past and her own family and never talked about it.
"Oh she'll reveal how she is when she wakes up, don't you worry because she's already figured that out because she's smarter than anyone we've ever met before. But we must all treat her with the same loving kindness we do each other, if not more so because she is obviously very, very special, precious, to be treasured as your father has already figured out." Arob insisted before the cauldron began to reveal your mind.
"Oh no! Yotul! She was expecting you to hit her! She was expecting you to kill her bird and she chose to protect the bird before herself. She has manners and you were rude and very disrespectful, you are loosing your worth more and more and she will be your only means redemption, so be nice! She can't feel at ease and at home until you treat her as such. You are what stands between us and glory." Arob, barked at her daughter in law who scoffed at the reprimand.
"She's still just a human." Yotul growled darkly, she hated that her whole family seemed to turning against her.
"So? I was still right, she is still worth her weight in gold and is a treasure greater than your comprehension, you need to be more kind and gentle and of course respectful." Arob insisted as the cauldron showed you as if you were made out of gold and gemstones, your eyes like shimmering sapphires while your teeth were like pearls with your hair brilliant like rose gold and your skin out of ivory and dressed in splendor itself with a large horde of treasure behind you with an even bigger, literal mountain of food behind that, showing that you were not just a treasure yourself but would lead to treasure and prosperity and obviously more food than the whole clan could possibly eat before she moved to your past to see why you were so fearful.
"And you five!" Arob growled at five of her grandsons. "You two scare the shit out of her, she thinks you'll rape her the second your father's back is turned because you keep leering at her." She accused Silag and Winug who both looked away guiltily once Crowthu glared at them.
"Because she's beautiful!" They tried to justify.
"You two are not to be anywhere near her until you learn to respect her." Crowthu commanded.
"Yes father." They grumbled.
"And you three, she thinks you all hate her and she took you not greeting her back and not talking to her at all the whole way here as if she's too lowly to be talked to, great going." Arob growled sarcastically at the other three grandsons with another heated glare as Crowthu slapped his palm to his face, here he had gone out of his way to get you, to do the work of actually prying this super fine and very precious gemstone out of the crown of Khagra which is what the visions his mother had shown him and to offer it to his sons and they along with his wife were already fucking it up. You were important and vital to the clan damn it.
"But you two, you two did good, you remind her of her best friend Nar so she likes you already, but she's more attracted to you Zorroku and is leaning your way the most because you've actually made an effort with her, so very well done." Arob praised Nar and Zorroku who both beamed along with Crowthu who blew out a breath of relief, ok, so it wasn't all for naught, there was still hope.
"Could you please show them how she took down three bucks and several wolves please?" Zorroku requested.
"She what?" Yotul blinked in surprise.
"Oh hell yeah, so here she is, dipping the arrowheads of all the warchief family's arrows in cyanide and a lovely little concoction of other poisons and venoms, holy shit, look at her handling that snake! Oh she would make one hell of a sorceress, she has so much raw talent and capability and then here we find her climbing her tree and talking with Razor and here she goes, three bucks, one draw of her arrow" Arob showed it as if was a movie on the cauldron's surface.
"Wow, she's flexible." Silug clicked his teeth with a wag of his eyebrows.
"Yeah and she's a virgin and you won't be touching her at all." Arob answered as the whole family gasped softly and fought not to whistle lowly.
"Wow," they all whispered to themselves. That was an unusual rarity of a beautiful woman such as yourself, especially since you were almost 18.
"But if she's a virgin now, that meant that she will be expected to return as one in a month's time, so you boys better be on your best behavior and keep to yourselves physically." Crowthu commanded.
"Yes father." They all murmured, disappointed that they at least couldn't prove their affections for you physically, hoping that if they could compete by getting you to your release to prove that they were at least competent lovers that that would help you decide too and that had been the one and only way they had all agreed on- on the way home and now they were back to square one on how to compete for you.
"I thought for sure Shuzug would have been fucking her by the way he went after and came back ready to behead us right there at the table." Zorroku admitted.
"No, she sees him as a little brother and a friend, it would be really hard for her to see him romantically." Arob countered before the 'movie' progressed to show you taking down all the wolves.
"Shit, she's a better archer than I am, what the fuck. Look at that accuracy! Look at how she knew right where to sink those arrows and lead her target so that by the time the arrow would hit, it would hit perfectly. Wow, yeah, gemstone, she's a literal gemstone. How the fuck did we get her away from Khagra?! If I had been him, I never would have agreed to it, I would have started another war to keep her." Yalak gasped softly as he made it go backwards to watch it all again in amazement.
"She knows why he agreed to it. Once she's comfortable with us, she'll tell us why. She was trying to save him and trying to save his family. Something must be wrong if she's doing that. For a gem to protect the crown and the wearer, to sacrifice itself like that, that's loyalty you can not buy, but once we've earned her trust, she'll show us the same loyalty. So we need to be good to her. We need to show her that we treasure her even more than Khagra ever did because she's already seen orcs without honor, look at that." Arob sighed sadly as she watched through your memories of even orcs in your own village treat humans very badly. "No wonder she fears all of us are this way, no wonder she fears for her life and so desperate not to take offense or make a wrong move. We need to prove to her that she is safe and cared for with us, otherwise she will never fully bless our clan." Arob realized before she added in other herbs to show what it would take for you to feel safe and cared for as the warchief and all his sons eagerly watched themselves be kind, gentle and respectful with you and watched as your smiles became more frequent and truer and how your whole being seemed light up when you would see them and how you could be so fun and funny and entertaining because you could sing, play some musical instruments, play fun games, knew more stories than most elders did and could tell them better than most and you were so loving and thoughtful and wise and fantastic with kids and how with Arob's blessings, you could plant anything and make it grow and have a garden that would be larger than your parent's garden and enormous enough and produce enough for the whole clan to never have to move again, all that would be needed would be to rotate the herds in the surrounding fields but that their tents would turn into real houses because they would be permanent, something that the clan had never had before because in the clan's infancy it was always chased off by the other clans and in order to stay together- moving was part of it's necessity, but when it grew to be bigger and had earned it's place in orc-dom, it had now grown to accustomed to moving so much and had staked down it's winter and summer grounds.
"So who should she marry?" Zorroku, the eldest of Crowthu's sons from his first wife asked eagerly, hoping it would be himself before his grandmother added a handful of dust and the cauldron's surface split into seven mini orbs in front of each son while his parents could continue to look at the cauldron's surface, showing what would happen depending on who you chose to marry and to everyone's astonishment, they all had the same exact outcome, whoever you chose, would be the next warchief and the whole clan would always prosper and your children, more sons than you had fingers, would all be devastatingly handsome and unbelievably smart and clever and not weakend at all because of you, if anything they were stronger and had better ability because of you, how every warchief's daughter would instantly not want war but peace if it meant fucking them while your daughters would the most beautiful orc halflings ever thanks to you and how none of them would ever be sold, all of them having their picks of whoever and whatever they wanted, a great treasured luxury indeed. But it all came with a catch, you would only be happy and the maximum blessings would only come if you were the only beloved and treasured wife and that seemed to be a deal breaker for half of the warchief's sons, the middle ones who knew they wouldn't necessarily ever get to be warchief, who were looking forward to having at least a few wives and had gotten used to fucking their conquests when they raided or who already had a wife or two since you would not be completely happy with sharing them- they mentally bowed out and swiped at their spheres to make them disappear while Zorroku, Yalak, Nar and Winug kept their orbs. Winug considered giving up raping his conquests only because in his orb, once he respected you and proved how he wouldn't rape you, you would freely and very frequently give yourself to him and it would be the best sex of his life and he'd have more sons than he had brothers and you'd get him to be warchief and once he was warchief, he could take on more wives and run his nuts dry from fucking everyone and have dozens of sons. Hell yeah, sign him the fuck up for that.
Nar saw how you would always be his best friend first, lover second and how you'd help him to be just as clever as Shuzug if not more so, to be smarter than all his brothers, how you'd help him use cunning to get anything and everything he ever wanted and how you'd help him beat out his own brothers to make him warchief, something he always thought impossible to attain, with many sons and daughters and you would help him to become great. Which is all he wanted. And the price was to love you unconditionally and respect you and listen to you when you advised him, were things he'd readily pay to achieve all that.
Zorroku though, saw all he needed to see, he had already been impressed with your cooking skills and your vast intellect and your intuition and just your own falconry skills blew him away and obviously your great beauty which you had not realized you possessed along with your graciousness in the face of fear and disrespect which was a strength of the mind rather than the body which was of greater value to him and a great rarity for him to ever find. Even the fact that you protected him and saved his life while still letting him get the honor of a wolf kill impressed him so much, and if all it would take is loving you and caring for you and protecting you and making you happy and pleasing you and giving you every pleasure and satisfaction he could, he would get more sons than he had siblings and more daughters than he had sisters, a wife who would really love him and care for him and treat him with the highest respect and honor befitting of a king but not because he was warchief, but because you would actually love him, on his own, without his title or prestige in addition to taking care of his first and only daughter that he had at the moment, who's mother, his previous and only wife, had died in childbirth back in the winter and had since been nursed by his sister in law- who would grow to know you as her mother and how you would care for her and love her as your own in addition to making sure every meal he had, even when he was away from you was delicious and when he returned to you, you would welcome him home with such fervor and passion, he'd spend at least a whole day just fucking you raw as you did the same because you missed each other so much and you both would be the great loves of each other's lives, how he would never even get tempted to look for sexual satisfaction anywhere else other than you and he was so happy and thrilled and content with that and you would never act haughty or selfishly like his own adopted mother Yotul tended to after she gave birth to his half brothers and became warchieftess after his own mother, the former warchieftess had died in childbirth, how you would keep him alive well into his seventies and he would live to see three generations of his children, a rare and great honor indeed, which for an orc, especially a male one, was almost unheard of, because your intuition would never steer you or him wrong, he was ready to marry you that instant, but for that glorious future, he would be patient, gentle and kind now. Things he was all too willing to do.
"She's mine." Zorroku insisted as he looked over at your sleeping form, quite liking the idea of waking up to that sight every day.
"No she's mine." Yalak insisted, he was the third born of Yotul and was already married with a son, he was very ambitious and he wanted you if it meant he would be warchief instead of his brothers. But to become warchief, he'd happily remove himself from his wife and make you his first and primary wife and give you the lip service and adoration you obviously needed until you helped him become warchief and once there, he'd re-promote his current wife and make you a secondary and then a third because you were human after all.
"But she would only make you warchief if you really loved her, all you want is the prize, not the fight as do you Winag." Arob criticized, not wanting you to go to Yalak or Winag at all, Zorroku was your best option because he would love you and treat you right until his dying day although the youngest could offer you something similar but because he was younger than you while Zorroku was a year older than you, you would find it easier to be submissive to Zorroku but they would both treat you as their equal, if not the more precious half of themselves which was your own ideal and what you really wanted.
"Her only human pussy is too high a price, even for warchief. That's the best part of raids." Silug, the second born of Crowthu argued.
"I agree," Yotul agreed with her eldest son.
"So she's better off, being mine, because I'll be happy and content with just her." Zorroku insisted.
"You get to be warchief no matter what because you're the first born, you don't need her." Yalak countered.
"But I want her, which is more important to her, she thinks you hate her, good luck changing her mind from that, besides she would actually love me for me, not because of that. Any girl, no matter their breed would always only want to be mine because she could be warchieftess, that doesn't matter to her. If you were worth your iron, you'd know how fucking rare that is!" Zorroku snarled, ready to battle his brothers for you in that instant which got you to stir and Razor to scream again before Arob hushed everyone before you settled back into sleep and Razor settled as well.
"And if you were worth yours you'd know how rare it is that a woman, despite being human would make whoever she'd choose warchief. That kind of cleverness is what's rare." Yalak growled in a snarl lowly so as not to wake you.
"If the only reason you want her is because she will make you warchief, then take that right – right here and now, she deserves better than to be used just for that purpose, besides, look at how unhappy she is once you become warchief and take on more wives and demote her before emotionally abandoning her- same thing with you Winag, she would give you the best of herself and would fuck you better than any girl could ever fuck you and it's never enough, neither of you will ever be satisfied and that'll destroy her. Just because she's human, doesn't mean she deserves to be miserable." Zorroku pointed out as he gestured to his brothers' orbs, saddened by what he saw there because he had already started to care for you. Had fallen for you when he first tasted your food then fell even harder when he saw you and got to be around you. A beautiful woman who could also cook as well as she was clever and fucking gifted was an extreme rarity and something he was blessed to find in his lifetime, usually some the best cooks were fucking ugly. But you were obviously gorgeous and in addition to everything else, he was beyond sold.
"Zorroku, go make peace with all your sisters and sisters in law, for it is through them and their insights on all of you that she will choose you." Arob advised before she added something else that made all the magic in the cauldron disappear and the orbs collapse but moved the magic to your head, blessing you with the sweet visions it offered of Zorroku as well as the peace, ease and comfort that comes to the heart and soul when one is home and to know that they were all genuinely happy to have you there and to feel the welcoming spirit they were trying to impart to you and to believe them when they spoke the truth to you instead of being wary, distrusting and disbelieving of everyone and to help you trust them and put faith in them that you were really a true member of this family and that you would never get mistreated or disrespected ever again, that you were safe, a fact that you would know and believe and trust as Zorroku beamed proudly and victoriously at his brothers and parents before he left to go into the kitchen where his sisters and sisters in law had been making the food and watching their little ones- where he did indeed beg and plead to only have good things to say about him when you would ask before they were brought out and got to see you for themselves.
"Holy shit she's a falconer! With a golden eagle? Seriously?" Glasha nearly squealed as she left to get a scrap of meat for the eagle and came forward and offered Razor a scrap of horse meat which he graciously took from her and ate it as she respectfully backed away.
"She's human." Grat frowned in confusion with her toddler on her hip.
"Yeah but she makes this." Zorroku said as he got the pestle and offered it to his sisters, half sisters and sisters in law who took the remaining slices of roast and wiped the pestle and the mortar clean with it, all of them gasping at how good it was.
"How? How did she do that?" Grat demanded, hungry for more.
"She'll show you, let her sleep a little longer and she'll help make the midnight meal. She's sweeter than honey and the peaches that came with her and nicer than the summer breezes, but smarter than any fox or wolf and she's the newest member of this family and we need to treat her as such." Crowthu urged his daughters who blinked in surprise, that was the highest praise they had ever heard their father say about anyone, let alone a human but they knew you were the jewel stone of Khagra's crown, they supposed it was only fitting.
"Why do I feel you'd bed her if you could?" Yotul accused her husband angrily which got Crowthu to huff a laugh.
"Because I would, her attitude and personality are more beautiful than yours." Crowthu answered, hoping that would help Yotul get her own attitude in check which got everyone to gasp as Arob snickered a deep belly laugh.
"But you won't right?" Zorroku asked nervously.
"No, she's yours, you and I know and share the same feelings of being liked for yourself." Crowthu answered with a pointed look to his wife who only bristled further.
"Not if I steal her away first," Yalak, Nar and Winug mumbled to themselves under their breath.
"How about you boys go set up a tent for her, put it next to Glasha's tent, they'll be the closest to sisters and make sure you put everything that was gifted to her by the Black Wolf White Rock Clan gets in there too, all of that solely belongs to her. The first step in showing her respect- is to respect what's hers and make sure you put a perch for Razor in there too." Arob urged the boys who left and got to work, Zorroku getting the best tent he could get his hands on as his brothers pillaged the spoils for the best beds and things to fill your tent with along with all the belongings that came with you, breaking tradition because usually all of that would go into the spoils but they wanted to honor that which was yours as yours too and not the whole clans while all the food that came with you got put into the kitchen tent, Crowthu's daughters and daughters in law finally getting to taste these famed peaches which you were affectionately named after. Zorroku had insisted that they save the pits which they had and had even put them in their own bag so that you would plant them or even use the seeds for cyanide once they were done.
By a miracle Glasha was able to get the glove on herself and baited Razor with a big hunk of horse meat to come off of you and onto her arm and kept him as close to you as she could as her father Crowthu picked you up himself, knowing most of his sons were not to be trusted with doing such a thing and marveling at how little you were compared to himself, how light you were and how you curled up to his chest as the thought of going back on his word and claiming you himself came to mind but he had honor and would therefore not go back on it. Besides, he had a really good feeling about you and knew you'd be worth any and all trouble in obtaining you and had expected Khagra to put up a much bigger fight for you but instead that fight had luckily only come from his sons...and then the rest of the village. He hadn't known you were a Borgan and half expected to give up at finding that out and had thought he would have to beg and plead to convince you yourself which would have been an even bigger feat but it was like the spirit of his mother was maneuvering him, pushing him to say just the right thing in just the right way.
"You're safe now daughter." Crowthu cooed to you as he set you in bed and made sure you were covered in a heavy fur and comfortable before he left you as his daughter Glasha put Razor and the slab of meat on the perch right next to your bed in the bedroom section of the tent.
When you awoke an hour later you blinked in surprise and sat up in bed before you realized you were in a different tent, one with it's own fire pit that was making it quite warm and bathing it in a wonderful light along with lanterns around it vastness, Razor on a different perch and still eating, all your things carefully put around the tent along with even more beautiful and very fine things. You were clearly in a bedroom like section of the tent and above your head was a lantern that also had an incense burner in it and you had a raised metal fire pit at the foot of the bed to keep the bedroom portion warm and you had a stand for your clothes and stack of fabric next to it, half the fabrics were gifted you from your clan and the others were obviously from here and a fur cloak but it was obviously made for a larger orc and you were pretty sure you'd drown in it if you tried to wear it. The bed you were on was big and solid and extremely comfortable, having an extra soft mattress, covered by all kinds of blankets, soft silky ones, wool ones and fur ones along with a soft silky sheets too, freshly laundered and free of fleas or any other bugs. It was the most comfortable bed ever, even Shuzug's bed had never been this soft and luxurious, next to the bed was a little table where it had a candle in a candle holder and tins of incense with a set of little set of spoons. You looked out into the rest of the tent and it was just as amazing, a wonderful and comfortable sitting area with low couches piled with cushions and little throw blankets, two tea sets on a beautiful lacquered table and a wonderful assortments of teas and coffee too and you couldn't help but smile fondly at it all. Then you realized you had fallen asleep in front of the warchief's family. Oh gods, you probably offended them by being so weak as to fall asleep with only two cups of tea in you, not even wine or ale and you couldn't help but cry before Razor started chirping comforting to you, easily swooping down to land in your lap as you started petting him reassuringly.
"Bella? Peaches?" Glasha called out when she heard you from the next tent over before she came into your tent and gave you the brightest smile ever.
"Yes?" You asked as you wiped your eyes with your sleeves and tried to stop yourself from crying as you chirped and purred to Razor and pointed back to the perch as he leaped up and got back on it but still watched over you.
"Hi, I'm Glasha, Crowthu's firstborn daughter from the first warchieftess, Sharn, you're Bella, or Peaches as we've taken to calling you because you brought in so many! They're so good! And Zorroku told us to save every pit to plant to make more peach trees so we have! You're the Marfu from the Black Wolf White Rock Clan, welcome to the Thunder Herd Clan! And if I can just say, Razor is the most amazing bird I've ever seen." She greeted you sweetly, warmly and excitedly as she came over and sat on the bed with you. She was gorgeous and very well dressed, her own clothes beautiful and clean and her own hair braided gorgeously, you immediately liked her based on Razor's reaction to her alone plus you got a feeling this was your new best friend while you were here and you needed a friend right now.
"Thank you, how much trouble am I in?" You asked worriedly.
"Trouble?" Glasha tilted her head in confusion.
"I fell asleep in front of your family only after two cups of tea, they must be so disappointed in me for being so weak." You worried but she just looked at you like you in confused disbelief before she couldn't help herself and outright giggled at the preposterous notion.
"No, that tea was meant to relax you and help you sleep, you've had a big, long day, we wanted to make sure you rested and got refreshed, that tea was supposed to make you sleep. You're not in trouble at all, don't worry, you haven't done anything wrong." Glasha reassured you as she reached out and pet your arm before she held and squeezed your hand comfortingly and could see what her brother Zorroku, her father and grandmother saw in you and liked you so much already.
"Oh," was all you could say in return as your tears dried up.
"But I did get to try what was in the pestle, that was delicious, do you have what you need to make more?" She asked you eagerly.
"Yes, yes I do, I uh, I suppose you should bring me to the kitchen to help make the next meal." You realized as you felt your satchels next to you and took the satchel that had your clothes and personal belongings in it and set it down next to the bed.
"Only if you want to, you don't have to." Glasha reassured you again.
"But that's why I'm here, I'm here to cook." You moved to get out of bed.
"You're here to make our family whole and to help our clan become great and prosper. The cooking is a bonus." Glasha giggled and you gave her a funny look.
"That would be news to me." You found yourself saying. "Who's tent am I in?" You asked as you looked around, still in awe by the luxury that surrounded you, especially surprised to see all the gifts your old warchief and his family bestowed on you, surrounding you, you never thought you would see them again, or if you did, it would be in the possession of someone else.
"Yours, do you like it? Zorroku got you the best tent he could find while my other brothers filled it with the best stuff we had in the spoils horde along with all the gifts the Black Wolf White Rock Clan gave you too, and if you don't like the scent of the incense, we have several varieties that we got from the last raid, they're all over there on your bedside table and the incense burners are above your head and in the main tent, you must be extremely special if you got all this given to you by your old clan, they said you were the adopted daughter of Warchief Khagra himself that he and his wife called you 'daughter' and that all his daughters called you 'sister', all my brothers want to marry you and they're all trying to impress you by getting you the best they can get their hands on." Glasha grinned mischievously but you frowned and looked at her like she was crazy, you felt you knew that wasn't true, not unless what you believed to be a secret was now well known here. But if that were the case it was being blown way out of proportion, for now you just had to play dumb until you figured it out.
"What? I'm just a cook, I don't need all of this, I'd be happy with a bed roll in the kitchen." You answered as you shook the sleep from your head.
"You may think that of yourself now but our grandmother sees you differently, she was the one who told my father and my brothers to go make peace and an alliance with the Black Wolf White Rock Clan and to leave late last night and to ride all night just to get to you, she says that under your care as warchieftess since whoever you choose to marry will become warchief, that our clan will only know greatness, she's a sorceress, and she's been teaching me the art and the craft and I see what she sees in you. I know you must be scared and have tried to prepare yourself for the worst and I know you fear us, but please don't be afraid of us, we would never hurt you, we're your friends and family first and you are our equal, not our servant." Glasha insisted. Well, fuck, ok, so that's how they knew you existed. You showed up on the magical plane after all. The last witch's spell to hide you from it must have worn off or Mama Arob's own magic must be more powerful than Grub's and was able to see underneath it.
"But I'm human, that goes against every tradition every orc clan has, no warchief is allowed to have a human wife, not unless he has at least one or two full blooded others above her since humans weaken strong orc family lines." You gently argued, repeating what was common law among every orc clan you had ever encountered.
"Except us, the Thunder Herd Clan is different, you'll hear it in our language and you'll see it by the way we treat others and each other, we know some ways become old and we understand that you abandon the old in favor of the new, just like the grasses, you move on when they get old to find fresh new grass that feeds better than the old and you are the epitome of fresh new grass." Glasha explained with another giggle. "Yotul is not from the Thunder Herd Clan though, she has always had trouble with understanding that." Glasha added.
"How often does the clan move to find new grass?" You asked thoughtfully as you considered her words carefully.
"Only twice a year, once in fall to the winter grounds then again in spring to the summer grounds and we just moved here to our summer grounds only a couple of days ago that's why my father and my brothers came and got you now so that your seeds will grow into a proper garden to be harvested this fall before we move to the winter grounds. But Mama Arob told us that with the seeds in your bags, you'll make a garden so great, we won't need to move at all in only a years time, that we'll move to the winter grounds for the last time this winter, but next spring when we come back, we'll be back for good." Glasha beamed and you simply listened to this revelation, not wanting to believe your ears because it was too good to be true.
"Come, my sisters and I have already started to make the dirt ready for you to start planting tonight, it's a full moon tonight, that's the blessing for the seeds you'll plant and why they got you when they did." Glasha said as she grabbed your hands and pulled you from bed and led you out of your tent to the gardens space outside the kitchen tent that was nearby, where the sun was just finishing setting and the moon was already rising, it was now dusk where she and her sisters had already dug up the earth to get it ready for you. You almost started crying tears of joy, being so moved by the gesture before you got your seeds and saplings and other plants carefully planted them as Glasha and all her sisters and sisters in law who all introduced themselves to you in a very friendly and welcoming manner, hugging you tightly and kissing your cheeks affectionately then planted all the peach stones from all the peaches they had eaten, that Zorroku had insisted be saved for you in a grid pattern as you directed them to- to make an orchard along with apple seeds and other fruit and nut trees and saplings so that it would be a mighty orchard and grove and vinyard, you were so happy and thrilled Zorroku had actually listened to you and that you now had dozens and dozens of pits to plant and once they were planted, Glasha and her sisters got special water out of a cauldron that had been moved to the kitchen and used it to water all the seeds, Glasha proudly informed you that it was 'blessed water' and you didn't argue, instead you got some yourself and watered what you planted too, very much so, to the point you thought you over watered it. Then the crows seemed come to you, a whole flock and they outright landed all over your arms and shoulders and even your head which got the other girls to laugh at how ridiculous you looked as all the crows greeted you with 'hi!' or 'hello!' before you greeted them all back in turn.
"It seems I have some correspondence to do, excuse me, Glasha, please help get my tent flap would you?" You requested with a giggle of your own as she helped you into your own tent where Razor was still happily chewing down on his horse steak.
"Ok, everyone on the couch." You urged and they obeyed before you sat at your desk and got some paper and a quill and your ink and got ready to write some correspondence.
"You can stay and hang out if you want." You offered to her, wanting to keep some company just in case you got any visitors in the form of Yotul and her sons, you'd have a witness to whatever would happen.
"Well actually I was going to go get some snacks for the ravens, but when I come back I'll hang out with you." Glasha offered as she quickly left and tried to get as many scraps left over from dinner together as she could before she returned with a bowl of them before she pulled up a chair too and fed the ravens as you called them each by name over to your desk to take the messages in the little holders off the crow's legs to read it and then write down your reply on the back as you talked to the ravens and they talked back like parrots which Glasha was completely tickled to witness especially when they talked to her to and said 'thank you' to her for feeding them.
"So what do they say?" Glasha asked curiously as she nodded over to the correspondence.
"They're all asking the same thing, if your family has mistreated me yet." You answered as you soon got tired of writing the same thing over and over again.
"And what's your answer?" Glasha asked cautiously.
"The answer is of course 'no', I mean some of your brothers hate me so much they refuse to talk to me, but that's fine, they keep their distance which is what I would prefer them to do." You answered honestly before you cooed to the ravens. "No they haven't, they've all been so good to me yes they have!" You cooed to ravens in the same cooing tone you would use with in infant as you pet the ravens affectionately as they soaked up your affections like a sponge as the others hopped around your tent, cawing 'big tent!' and 'nice tent!' the whole time which had cracked Glasha up when they first started doing that.
"What? Which ones?" Glasha gasped in horror.
"Uh well, I'm pretty sure I'd be raped by Winag and Silug if they got half a chance by the way they keep staring at me like a hungry dog looks at a steak. Yalak, Grushnag and Murnag refuse to say one word to me at all. Which I get and understand, your father told me I could choose whoever I wanted without asking them and most, if not all orcs think that humans are inferior and I'd be pissed off too if my father agreed to have me married off to people I viewed as inferior without asking me first." You explained, feeling you could be safe with being yourself and being blunt and honest with Glasha.
"OK, you're right about Winag and Silug, they are my half brothers and they look forward to raping their conquests the most, I can't imagine how many kids they have that they'll never recognize. I don't think they know how to fuck unless it's rape, it's disgusting and I would advise you to stay away from them as much as you can and never be alone with them, I mean, they're my half brothers and they look at me like that sometimes and it's gross. But where you're wrong is Yalak, Grushnag and Murnag. None of them hate you, they're all scared and intimidated by you." She elaborated and you blinked in surprise at that which prompted Glasha to explain.
"Ok so Yalak is naturally really quiet because he likes to watch and observe a lot and try to figure everything and everyone out so he's still trying to figure you out by observing you, Grushnag and Murnag, the twins, they're just really shy and they know they're kinda ugly and you're beautiful and they think they're unworthy of you because not only are you smart and clever and talented and gifted but you're really beautiful too and they're really insecure. They're the ones who picked out your bed and the furs and a few of the interior decorations where Zorroku got the tent and the rest of your stuff that didn't come with you and the twins will be doing the furs of your bucks and wolves for you because they're awkward talkers but they're better at showing their affection by doing nice things for people. They really are nice but you have to get under all the awkwardness first. But the only one who doesn't like you is Yotul, I don't know what her problem is, just ignore her, she'll get over whatever problems she has, I mean it has to be with humans in general because she has no reason to be this hateful towards you. She shamed and dishonored my father and the rest of the family by not giving you a proper greeting and by just outright stealing your spice without asking, my father told us about the special conditions you have which is fine, it shouldn't have been a problem to begin with but I understand that you've met and hosted almost every clan on the continent and even some farther than that and every orc clan is different and if all you knew about us was our reputation, I could see where you would draw certain conclusions..." Glasha explained.
"What do you know of your step mother?" You asked carefully.
"That she's from the Yellow River Clan, but she doesn't speak their language well, she's taught us Yowl and often slips into Yowl when she's angry or upset or worried, but I don't know who else speaks Yowl so maybe she was traded to them from somewhere else, I don't know, she's like an onion, she has many layers of...I don't know, she's a hard woman to get to know because she just doesn't like to talk about herself or her past before coming into the clan." Glasha answered and you nodded in understanding.
"Could you tell me about your mother?" You asked her sweetly.
"Oh my mother was Warchieftess Sharn, first wife of my father and mother to Zorroku, myself, my sister Morn and the twins but she died giving birth to the twins and when she did that's when Yotul became warchieftess and adopted myself and all my siblings." Glasha informed you as you realized she had an accent you recognized.
"Your mother wasn't from the Silver Snow Clan from the mountains was she?" You asked as you recognized that name as Glasha's eyes got wide in excitement.
"Yes." Glasha confirmed.
"Your mother was Sharn The Magnificent, so named because she rode a white major wolf and was the most beautiful warrior of the whole clan, I know, because when the Silver Snow Clan came and made an alliance with us with Khagra's father, Khagra did everything he could to woo her even though he wasn't of age yet, my mother was one of her servants and fell in love with my dad and stayed in the Black Wolf White Rock clan and remembered her really well and has always spoken of her in awed reverance. How did your father manage to get her?" You asked in awe.
"Oh he got her a herd of silver draft horses once her wolf, Lightning, died." Glasha revealed and you nodded in understanding.
"So how well do you speak Ragash?" You asked in Ragash, the native dialect of the Silver Snow Clan and Glasha visibly lit up brighter than the sun and practically bounced in her seat and started going on and started talking so fast you could barely keep up with her as you finished up your correspondence and simply listened in amusement.
"But anyway, in the Thunder Herd Clan we have four meals a day. A late breakfast, because we usually like to stay up late and sleep in late, lunch, dinner and the midnight meal, which is our biggest meal of the day, think of it as a second dinner and it's the one we'll be preparing when you get done with your letters," Glasha said just as you were getting done getting all the messages and writing your responses and you nodded and when you were done you beckoned all the birds to get on you again so you could leave and then told them to go home so they flew off of you and flew in the direction of the Black Wolf White Rock Clan before you followed Glasha into the kitchen tent as she brought you around the kitchen itself and showed you what was what and what they had to work with as you began to find your bearings again as well as show you the small mountain of peaches from home before you pulled ingredients out your food satchel and showed your new 'sisters' what you've brought and what you used to make that spice blend you made earlier as you began teaching them what you had discovered and already knew before Zorroku and his brothers came into the kitchen, carrying a cut up horse carcass and put it on a leather blanket in the middle of the cooking tent and at least with the skin off, it kinda of looked like a cow....with a giant neck... and a horse's head...and fucking horse hoofs and you put the back of your hand to your mouth to keep from vomiting at the thought of a baby horse being slaughtered even though this was clearly an adult, you could only hope that it had lived a good life and that it's death was as quick and painless as possible.
"Did you sleep ok Peaches?" Zorroku asked you hopefully and you're surprised to hear him speak to you again.
"Yes, thank you." You answer as you nod and try to smile bravely.
"If you need or want anything let me know." Zorroku offered before another one of his brothers chimed in.
"Actually I brought you a guitar because you like music so much." Yalak offered as he pushed through his brothers and presented you with a guitar that was wrapped up in a little blanket as you watched Zorroku's face scrunch up in jealousy which was curious to you.
"Oh wow, uh, thank you," You thanked him graciously as you took it from him, not wanting to offend him refusing it from him. "Uh, I just don't remember my warchief or my father telling you that I played guitar...out loud." You mumbled under your breath as you unwrapped it, realizing it was actually a very fine one.
"Wow, this is exquisite, thank you." You thanked Yalak earnestly, this was so surreal to you as you put the guitar's strap over your shoulder and tested the chords before Nar his way to you too.
"But I brought you a little one." Nar said as he came forward and offered you something else. Being the youngest and the smallest of them all, he looked to be about 12 or 13, just reached maturity and his full height as the beginnings of facial hair seemed to bloom on his face as you carefully took the guitar off and set it down on the counter gently and carefully and took what he offered you, it was also wrapped in a nice little blanket and when you wrapped it you found a violin case, inside was a very fine violin with it's bow and a thing of resin for the bow strings.
"Oh my goodness, it's a violin! Thank you so much! I love the violin." You beamed, this was...so not real. There had to be a catch to all of this as you put the violin to your shoulder as they all looked at you curiously as you ran the bow over the strings and began to play a melody before they all lit up as they recognized what you were playing, a very old lullaby that Yotul always sang to them in her native dialect Yawl, before the youngest left and fetched his mother who came into the kitchen tent and stared in shock as you played it so well, she hadn't heard it played on a violin in a long time, since she herself had never learned the instrument.
"Where did you learn that song?!" She demanded as tears welled in her eyes and you dropped the violin to your side and hid it behind you to save it from her smashing it since it seems she was now angry with you as if you had been caught doing something wrong as you watched as her sons and daughters moved between the two of you to keep her from getting close to you.
"You are Yotul Koddeth of the Great Storm Breaker Clan from the high north, your mother was Veggo Koddeth and your father was The Great and Mighty Warchief Krul Koddeth, a family name that had lasted four generations, a king among warchiefs and who had taught my warchief Khagra and his father the art of alliances over war as a very young boy until he was betrayed by his brother and your uncle Tangir The Bone Splitter who split your father's skull in front of you and your sister and your mother because she had not given him sons yet and was the biggest reason your uncle had for overthrowing your family since he had three sons but by three different women, two of which were human, he then sold you to the Yellow River Clan before you were then traded to the Thunder Herd Clan, after he sold you to the Yellow River Clan, your uncle sold your sister Bula to Khagra as a wife when he was only five and she was only six, while your mother was sold as the family's babysitter and caretaker and medicine woman, it is your mother and sister who taught me your mother tongue Yowl, your culture and this song and many other songs and legends from the Great Storm Breaker Clan. I played this song, hoping to remind you that you are not alone and that your past is important and should be embraced rather than buried just because of your piece of shit uncle and his family, your family is not forgotten and lives on and is thriving and that even though I am not of your blood, I have been placed in your family. I know I am unworthy of the honor that is being in your family but your sister has never stopped hoping you had survived and done well, your mother passed on only two years ago, warm and at peace in her bed and remarried and you have a half brother and a half sister in the Black Wolf White Rock Clan, I don't know if your sister knows you are now the warchieftess of the Thunder Herd Clan and I don't know if your own sons recognized their aunt, they didn't seem like they did when they met her or their cousins because your nieces and nephews are the warchief's own sons and daughters, but I know she would be very pleased to know how well you've done by getting this far and I understand why you would hate me because I am a human on account of your uncle and now, because I was able to make one good meal, things are being handed to me whereas you've had to work hard for everything you have, please understand I have no choice in this and am trying to make the best out of everything." You bravely professed in Yowl as you knelt down and bowed your head respectfully, half expecting her to cut it off as small gasps were heard through her children who had gathered around you to protect you from their mother as you closed your eyes, tears falling from them as you tried to embrace death. You had connected all the dots from everything your new father in law told you and one look at her you knew exactly who she was. Even if she did not want to admit it.
"She's a warchieftess too?" Yotul asked in astonishment in Yowl back as she just couldn't stop smiling while crying, which surprised you greatly, having expected to be cut down where you knelt or screamed at for defaming her native tongue by presuming to speak it to her.
"Yes, she has four daughters and had had five sons but the oldest two unfortunately died in the last raid so now she only has three sons, the middle who is now considered the eldest, by the name of Grecko, he has two wives, they're twins themselves and both orcs and 4 kids, two sets of twins, a set of girls and a set of boys who are almost a year old now, their names are..." You began to list off all her family from your clan before she came near, her children warily parting for her before she gently picked you up to stand on your feet before moving your chin to look up at her as you continued to talk and tell her about a family which she never knew she had.
"And your youngest nephew, he's ten now, Shuzug, has a penchant for peaches, he can eat a whole bushel all by himself." You finished off before she hugged you tightly and started sobbing and laughing herself.
"Gods I hate that my mother in law is right, when she said I would be getting family back as a daughter in law and when I saw you were human I thought you were my uncle's child or grandchild that just didn't look very orc, I never imagined it would be like this, just telling me about them makes me feel whole and less lonely and closer now than I have since I parted from them." Yotul cried happily as she was almost squeezing the breath out of you as Glasha took the violin and it's bow from your hands so you could hug her step mother back fully.
"Next time your husband goes there, go with him. They'll all be very happy to see you again." You offered as you hugged her back as tight as you could. "You and your sister look a lot alike, you'll have to forgive me if I call you by your sister's name by accident." You admitted which got her to laugh and her kids to relax and her sons to clean off the blood from themselves and go to the main tent with their kids to let their wives and sisters continue to cook as well as tell their dad what you just revealed before Glasha also revealed your connection to her own mother and the fact that you also spoke Ragash too which Crowthu, Zorroku, her sister Marn and the twins, nearly cried at hearing that too. You were family returned to them to them too and they too also felt closer to being whole since Sharn's loss.
"I would be ok with that." Yotul chuckled. "I'm so sorry for being so rude, I honestly thought you were my uncle's granddaughter or something and I'm so relieved you're obviously not, I'm very happy you're here with us now daughter." She offered as she held your face and placed her forehead to yours after kissing it and your cheeks affectionately and you felt so much relief wash over you and you felt you knew she was telling the truth and that you could trust her and that you were very dear to her, which made you want to have her dear to you in turn.
"Actually what you may not know is Tangir was overthrown and killed by your other uncle Wuglat only a year after selling you and your sister and mother, your uncle Wuglat brought back the law of only full blooded orcs could ever be warchief or warchieftess and be allowed into the family as an equal and only concubine or lower could ever be allowed to be human or non orc, a law I thought all orcs had accepted and implemented, which is why I'm shocked I'm here and why your sons are all trying to court me." You confessed, still keeping to Yowl.
"Oh, well yesterday I would have agreed with that, but you'll find, you'll be the exception to the rule, you are one of us and a full fledged member of this family now and you'll be treated as such from this moment on, come meet my grand-kids," she invited before she took your hand and led you out of the kitchen tent to hers where Crowthu and his sons were playing with their kids on the floor and was happy and relieved if not surprised to see you with Yotul and especially to see both of you smiling.
"Oh good, I was hoping you had those, when I wasn't Warchief Khagra's personal cook I was their babysitter for their kids and grand-kids." You informed her proudly which she was really thrilled to hear before she went around the room to introduce you to all the kids who you met happily.
"This is Yalak's son, YakYak," Yotul introduced as she picked him up and kissed his super chubby cheeks and handed him to you.
"Oh my goodness! Look at how handsome and fierce you are!" You cooed to him which got him to laugh and babble to you, you put him on your hip because he was so heavy even though he was only a year old, he was just so round and had so many rolls as his thick straight black hair stuck straight up on top of his head like a natural mohawk and he was absolutely precious, but you couldn't say that about a male baby orc, handsome was ok but usually fierce or frightening or something along those lines were the preferred complimentary terms while Yalak beamed proudly that you took to his son readily.
"Which one is his mother?" You asked as you swayed in place to keep him entertained as you tried to match all the girls in the kitchen to the guys since you hadn't seen who was with who yet.
"Rek." Yotul answered and you nodded in understanding as you mentally checked Yalak's name off your list, you weren't especially keen on coming between any couple, especially one that already had children. You didn't particularly want that kind of competition because of the competition that always palpable between Grecko's wives.
"And this fussy girl is Ori, Zorroku's daughter, her mother died giving birth to her this past winter, so Rek has taken her as her own daughter but she is, as you can see, very fussy." Crowthu offered as he did his best to keep the little girl happy who was still incredibly fussy in his arms and looked very small for an orc her age if not a bit sickly while Zorroku practiced play fighting with very blunt wooden axes with his older nephews, his attention split between that and you as he hoped you would take to his daughter too.
"Here, trade." You offered Yak Yak as an exchange as Yotul took YakYak away from you so you could get Ori. "Well hello there Ori, I'm Bella, or Peaches I should say, what's going on? Why are you so fussy?" You asked her rhetorically, in a cooing tone as you sat down cross legged on the floor with Crowthu and Yotul who happily played with Yak Yak and put Ori on her back in front of you to look her over, testing her limbs and range of motion and strength which all seemed fine if not on the weak side before you pressed against her tummy a little and she screamed bloody murder.
"Wow, ok, that's some tummy troubles right there! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, I really didn't. I'm just trying to see what's wrong that's all, please forgive me Sweetie. But great set of lungs Munchkin! Pretty sure the whole village heard you!" You cooed to her as you picked her up again and kissed her all over to get her to calm down again which worked like a charm and looked around for a blanket before you swaddled her up tightly as that seemed to settle her down some more before you took her legs and got her to do a crunch before the biggest and smelliest fart ever came out of that baby and she immediately stopped fussing and settled down completely as you tried and failed not to gag which earned snickering laugh from everyone.
"Yup, figured it was bad gas huh." You cooed as you picked her up and held her close to your face as you nuzzled your nose with hers which got her to giggle as Zorroku and his parents were near tears seeing you take to Ori the way you had and clearly knew what you were doing.
"Has she had any medicine for her tummy? Because the gas is only part of it, there's still a bit of a problem there." You asked lightly even though you knew the problem was much more serious than you were letting on as Crowthu, Yotul, Zorroku and Arob who all shook their heads no.
"Ok, come on, you little lady, are coming with me and I'll make you some medicine to help you with that tummy of yours." You cooed to Ori as you found your feet and picked her up and put her on your hip before spinning around in place which got her to shriek and giggle in delight again before you passed everyone back to the kitchen to get back into your satchels before you got her arms out and skinned a peach and gave it to her to chew on so the skin wouldn't choke her while you prepared your tonic for her as she sat down on your bench in front of you, propped up by bags of grain as she happily and quietly chowed down on her first peach and loved it.
"That peach is so yummy huh?" You cooed to her as you got everything together and made what you needed before you grabbed another orange and another peach and juiced them to help make it taste better before you got her to drink it, she preferred her straight up peach but she still drank it with some coaxing as the other women watched on in curious amusement. Glasha doing so the most.
"Good girl!" You cooed so proudly when she drank it all which got her to grin happily, showing off her tiny tusks that had just broken through her gums recently as you brought her back to her grandparents and their sons and reached into her mouth and rubbed her gums for her which she nearly rolled her eyes back into her head because it felt so good as she bit down onto your fingers and gnawed on your fingers to get more relief.
"Oh, I wouldn't put my fingers..." Yotul grimaced as she watched you do that.
"It's ok, they're clean, besides she needs something soft yet just hard enough to chew on because..." you began before turning your attention back to Ori - "All teething babies are angry and fussy growly pants and teething tusks hurt huh?" You teasingly growled at her as you rubbed your fingers on her gums some more which got her to laugh before she bit down on your fingers again and giggled evilly as you pretended she was hurting you.
"Oh no! Ori's eating my fingers! Whatever will I do? Nooooo! Someone avenge me!" You teased her in a singsong tone with a giggle of your own as you tickled her with your hand as your arm was wrapped around her which got her to laugh a deep belly laugh which got you to laugh which got everyone else to laugh.
"Here, she's not gonna want to leave you now." Yotul said as she put a mother sling around you and put Ori into it.
"But what if she needs to nurse?" You asked.
"I'm in the kitchen with you, I'll nurse her and give her right back." Rek immediately offered, relieved you had taken Ori off her hands so to speak, Ori got on her nerves from being so damn fussy all the time. "Because this is honestly the happiest she's ever been." Rek added.
"Oh you poor thing, all babies should be overflowing with happiness, well come on, Ori, let's go cook that midnight meal. And are you gonna be my helper? Yes you are, best ever." You cooed to her before you and the other women left to go to the kitchen as Zorroku managed to wipe his tears away discretely so you wouldn't see him cry, but fuck all if he didn't fall hopelessly head over heels in love with you in that instant.
"Hey, how much wine do we have?" You asked as you looked at the carcass that had started to get broken down further by the others in the kitchen.
"Lots." Glasha said as she pointed over to the giant jugs in one of the corners as you went over and sampled some, it was good wine, one of the jugs was actually sweet and tasted amazing and you mixed some with the dry and put a bunch of spices into it before you made another herb brush you carved yourself a roast and you stabbed it all over before you drenched it in the wine before putting it with the spit on the others and noticed how all the other girls were now copying you and doing what you were doing.
"Actually, here, I want to see if this works too," You said as you got some oranges and cut them up and before putting segments into the large holes that you stabbed through the roasts before you cut up the rind and got the oily juice from the rind along with some ground black peppercorns and put that on the outside of the roast and then sat next to the fire and continued to brush on the liquids as they were turned on the spits before you directed Rek to keep doing that before you went and made some sweet bread, putting more oranges and peaches and that sweet wine into it, the other women surprised you'd be putting fruit into bread before you let it rest and rise in a large bowl before you started on more bread, putting more butter and garlic and herbs into this kind as they continued to watch you curiously, to them, bread was bread was bread, it never occurred to them to add anything to it.
"Ooh, do we have any cheese?" You asked which they pointed to the rounds of cheese in another corner before you went over to try it on it's own before you found they had a few varieties of it. And you chose a good hard one before you brought it over to the garlic-y bread dough to put into it later once the bread was ready to take it on. You continued to keep yourself busy, doing a little bit of everything in between cooing and playing with Ori who you gave a carrot to- to chew on in lieu of your fingers as she happily sat on your hip and watched on as you walked around the kitchen as that tonic you gave her settled her tummy more than anything ever had before.
"Hey Rek? How often do you eat onions?" You asked Rek curiously as you thought over Ori's tummy troubles. No baby should have gas that smelled that bad, it wreaked of sulfur and something was seriously wrong with Ori but you didn't want to alarm anyone.
"With every meal, I love onions plus it's just the Thunder Herd way." Rek answered with a shrug.
"Well Ori has tummy troubles, I know some babies can't handle onions if they nurse from mothers who eat them a lot, would you consider not eating them? For like a day and see if that helps?" You proposed bravely.
"She'll get used to it, all babies do." Rek answered, not wanting to give them up right as Arob came into the kitchen to see how things were progressing in here.
"It makes me so happy to see you fitting in so well here Peaches." Arob cooed to you as sidled up beside you.
"Thanks, it's nice that everyone is so welcoming, I wasn't expecting it. But I am very worried about Ori. I think she might be sensitive to onions." You murmured to Arob quietly.
"Ori might be, she's never let me examine her without crying like I was killing her and Zorroku took her back before I could get very far." Arob answered before she tried to examine Ori now that she was happy in your care and was able to give a good and thorough once over thanks to another peach she happily munched on.
"Oh good heavens, yes, onions and garlic, she'll grow out of it eventually but if she doesn't stop it now, she'll be allergic for life and that will spell trouble for her in the future." Abol realized, kicking herself that she didn't think of that sooner and really kicking herself that she didn't realize it was that that was going on.
"Yeah, I figured from the sulfur smell of her gas it would be onions. I didn't want to worry anyone but you see and can sense how sick she is- right? She's so small and sickly skinny, especially for a baby orc her age, she looks like she's still a newborn. You feel the sickness in her guts right? The onions in the milk are just making it so much worse. I just wish I could nurse her because I would stay away from those for her sake, but I don't know how Zorroku would feel about that, or really anyone else though, or if that's even possible." You confessed softly in a hushed whisper so that only Arob would hear you, knowing if Ori couldn't nurse from a mother who didn't eat onions, she would only get much worse and fail to thrive altogether.
"Oh yes you could, Zorroku already adores you and wants you to be her mother and for you to be his wife, that simple spell wouldn't take much at all to get your breasts to start milking." Arob waived off as she immediately set to work making it.
"Yeah, could you please tell me why that is? Since when does every single warcheiften's son want to get with a human like me? I am not that special, not special enough to be warcheiftess and I was supposed to be hidden. How did you find me?" You asked her, keeping your voice whisper quiet as your anxiousness began to fill your voice again.
"Peaches- you were hidden, but, you looked like this." Mama Arob chuckled as she took a black blanket and draped it over Ori who cooed and jabbered and kicked at the blanket, thinking it was a game.
"It was the movement and everything around the blanket that pointed to you under it that caught my attention." Arob grinned as she pulled the blanket off and you twisted your lips at the analogy. Dang it.
"Yes but my 'gifts' and 'blessings' only apply to me personally I can't transfer them to a whole clan. I've tried and they just keep sticking stronger to me instead." You explained.
"Oh I know, we would never ask that of you and we don't expect that of you either, it's because they stick to you and only you that we knew we needed you here with us. Your presence alone is all the blessing we want." Arob explained.
"But I only know how to cook and only know a thing or two about medicine and child care, that shouldn't make me this special and it definitely shouldn't make me warchieftess. Yalak and Nar gave me instruments for crying out loud, something I clearly do not recall my warchief or my father telling them that I like. Glasha was going on on earlier about whoever I choose is going to be warchief? There has to be some mistake about that. Humans haven't been allowed into a warchief's inner family for...forever, as long as anyone's memory. What the ever loving fuck is going on?" You whispered to her before she snickered a laugh at you using profanity, wondering if you'd ever be comfortable being so candid, with how proper and polite you were, she thought it would take at least a week to get you comfortable enough for that.
"Peaches, I got a prophetic vision and it repeated over and over again with dread that spread to the whole family and then to the whole clan until I took heed of the visions themselves given to me that all pointed to you and when I looked at the spiritual plane, everything pointed to you. The fates and the gods themselves have chosen you as our path to glory, think about it, who would be better as warchieftess than someone who's hosted almost every clan on the continent and knows all there is to know about them? Who knows our history and our patchwork and are able to connect things like you do? Only you could have realized the connection between us and the Black Wolf White Rock Clan because you cared to. And because you feel that maternal lines matter just as much as paternal ones which is absolutely true and more need to think the way you do. You were able to glean so much by asking a few simple questions in a flattering way, your brilliant mind and your unassuming human body are what makes you invaluable because everyone, especially your old warchief underestimates you. A mistake they have all made but will make no more. Every alliance your warchief has ever made has been within your ears being able to hear it. You may not recall it all right now, but I'll help you. You know that alliances are the way of the future and you will help our clan gain them and therefore push our clan into the future too. Plus with all these foods and spices you've brought with you, I will help make it all grow. So do not worry. You are where you should be. Plus Zorroku has been praying to the gods for a proper mother for Ori because while Rek has nursed her, she doesn't love Ori as her own child and in just a few moments you've swooped in and scooped her up and are healing her better than I ever could and obviously care for her, enough that you're willing to give up certain foods just so that you could give her the milk she needs, no other woman around here would be willing to do that. All you need is to drink this special milk that I'm making you and you'll produce milk for her as if she was your babe and she can sleep with you tonight if you wish and Zorroku will only fall that much more in love with you." Arob reassured you.
"But he's the first born, isn't it against..." You began to argue before she shushed you.
"No, that does not matter to us at all, all those laws against humans need to be put out of your head, you're a Marfu which means Warchief's family, you're one of us, the fact that you're human has no bearing whatsoever on anything anymore, we are very different than every other orc clan you know of. What governs other orcs does not govern us. We will set president for all others and that begins with you." Arob insisted as she went ahead and made her special drink to help you produce milk before she blessed it, magicking it and offered it to you and you took it and started to drink it.
"Wow, it's like...mostly butter, honeyed butter." You noted as you took a moment to clear all the fat that had begun to build up as a film in your mouth before you drank the rest, it tasted extremely sweet though, you tried to get every drop and the more you drank the more the little cup made for you to drink until you felt like you had drunk at least a liter or two of it out this little cup and the more you drank the wider Arob grinned.
"Oh yes, orc milk is very high in fats and extremely nutritious, it's what helps our babies grow so big so fast." Arob boasted.
"But wont my body not make it the same an orc?" You asked worriedly before you finished it off, tilting your head back and tipping the little cup so that you got every single drop because it was just that good, you would have drunk a keg of it if you could as the cup finally seemed to reach it's limit.
"Oh no, that drink will make your whole body always give your babies exactly what they need and want, including her, you'll be quite hungry from now on and put on some really good curves." Arob reassured you before you felt the drink start to take effect, your breasts doubling then tripling in size until they were as big as large cantaloupes which they had been the size of large grapefruits before as you felt them grow very heavy.
"Holy shit, wow, ok, that was fast." You marveled as you looked down at your chest in surprise as your breasts nearly overflowed the top of your dress before they ached something awful, Arob still snickering at your candor. "Oh please tell me you're hungry Ori." You urged as you got your breast out and offered it to her hungry mouth as you sat down on a stool at the same time Zek, Rek and Grat were nursing their sons and daughters as the others took noticed the change in you and that you were trying to nurse Ori and once Arob and the others helped you through the latching process, Ori seemed to guzzle your milk down, her eyes rolling back into her head in pleasure again as you felt the intense pull within the breast from your ribs as she greedily sucked every bit down. Finally getting the first milk she was unfortunately denied at birth to set up her gut properly, your milk being especially rich, two to three times as rich as normal orc milk, extra sweet, having again two to three times the sweetness as others and super nutritious, it was so packed with nutrients it would ensure Ori would catch up in no time before she drained that breast completely then you switched her to the other breast and held her and rocked her and hummed to her as she drained that one too, nodding off once she was very full for the first time in her life before you put your breasts away back into your dress and put her to lay down in a little pen that was set up in the main tent with her cousins in the family's main tent.
"Um, hey so what I and your grandmother found out is Ori is becoming allergic to onions and garlic and Rek refuses to not eat those to help Ori so I volunteered to stay away from those for Ori's sake and your grandmother made me this drink that made it so I could nurse Ori and so I drank it and I nursed her and she drank a ton, um, if that's ok with you and not totally weird." You whispered to Zorroku who was surprised to see his daughter back and completely out, usually she didn't go down that easy, usually he had to rock her to sleep after she nursed and she didn't nurse well, hence why she was so small.
"Oh that explains why she hasn't eaten well. Thank you so much for doing that for her, that's not weird at all and completely alright, thank you, very very much... Bella." Zorroku gratefully and trying to be respectful of you and your actual name and try not to stare at your heaving breasts now threatening to spill from your dress and keep his gaze locked with yours which was really hard for him to do.
"Hey don't start that now, I was just getting used to 'Peaches'." You teased him with a grin and twinkle in your eye which got him to blush bashfully but smile ever so brightly before you left and all the women got back to work on preparing the midnight meal. You checked on the roasts while baking all the different kinds of bread while Zek roasted the onions, keeping her hands on the greens of the onions so that the onion bulb would roast in the fire, but not before you hollowed the cores out and put fat into the cores from your special leather pouch of fat before Rek went back to roasting them over the fire, turning them to make sure they cooked all the way through and the others boiled and roasted the vegetables along with roasting the bones in the fire to cook the bone marrow inside them before you helped split them and scoop out all the marrow to put it into a big bowl for everyone to scoop out and go along with their meal.
"What do we do with the bones now?" You asked.
"We throw them out?" Rek answered as if that should have been obvious.
"You don't make soup or stew with them?" You asked.
"No?" They all answered back.
"Oh my gods, ok, can I use this cauldron here? Is it ok if I use this?" You asked them before Arob immediately nodded her permission and you filled it with new water from the well in the kitchen since the 'blessed water' had been previously drained and they all helped you bring it over to the fire and got it to boil first.
"Why are you boiling the water?" Glasha asked you curiously.
"Not all water is clean water, boiling the water before you do anything with it can help keep you from getting sick, I've seen far too many mighty warriors be taken down by drinking let alone eating anything prepared with dirty and unclean water." You answered and once the water boiled for a good fifteen minutes you put it over the more burnt out coals to simmer over night before you added all the roasted bones and even more onions, both fresh and roasted and garlic and whole vegetables and different spices and things before you got a giant hunk of meat that had been ignored from the carcass because it was too tough to eat roasted over the fire and was usually given to the slaves to eat or discarded before you put that in there too along with a bunch of wine too. "There and come morning we'll have a nice stew, bones give water a flavor meat usually can't give." You said once you were done just as the roasts, the heart and the liver were coming off the spit before you put them in a large but kind of shallow bowl.
"Now, let those roasts rest for a little bit, if you serve them now, all the juice will leave it, let it rest and relax and it'll be more tender and juicy." You directed before they looked at you a little strangely but they did as you directed them too as you added even more of the spiced wine they had been basting them in, then watched as the meat suddenly began to re-soak up all the juices it had started to exude and even the wine, their eyes going wide in surprise as Arob just grinned proudly and you roasted a wheel of cheese on the fire, something else they had never seen done or had considered doing and once it was done you let it spill out onto a plate before drizzling honey onto it.
"Tada! Ok, now the midnight meal is ready." You announced before they all got their food and brought it back into the main tent as their brothers had set up a proper table, sniffing the scents rolling off the food hungrily and licking their lips. You sat down at the table between Arob and Zorroku who you noticed kept trying to subtly catch as many glances at your breasts now that they were noticeably bigger but didn't want to make you uncomfortable by just staring but it was kind of hard because that dress had been made for your previous smaller breasts in mind and now gave you ample cleavage that was threatening to completely overflow your dress as every guy was now eyeing and you wanted to scream, normally you would have feared that you were just a breath away from getting raped but somehow you knew that Crowthu, Yotul and Arob would keep that from happening.
"Oh my gods they're just breasts! Arob gave them to me to nurse Ori ok?! You can all stop staring at them now for fucks sake!" You exclaimed exasperatedly before the whole table erupted into the loudest, heartiest laughter as you took a small towel that had somehow found it's way into your pocket and stuffed it into your dress to try to cover all your cleavage as you couldn't help but laugh too as you blushed beet red.
"That's my girl," Arob smiled proudly as she pat your back.
"Sorry," Zorroku tried to apologize but he was currently choking on his bread and laughing too hard.
"We'll get you better fitting clothes tomorrow Peaches." Yotul offered as she tried to calm down her own laughter. Not thinking she'd get to see that side of you for another couple of weeks yet and quite liked it.
"Was wine used with the meat tonight?" Crowthu asked curiously as he noticed the deep reddish hue to his roast as he cut into it and grinned when orange segments, now purple from the wine came falling out as well as the roast itself and it practically oozed wine.
"Yup, and oranges, I hope you like it." You answered as you began to eat.
"Oh my gods, what was used with the onions?" Yotul asked as she noticed they were delightfully greasy but so good she was eating the onion by itself before she got another one.
"A mix of beef fat, beef bone marrow and butter." You answered.
"Ok you need a herd of cows to call your own, this is too good." Crowthu said as he did the same, marveling at how improved the onions were as Rek was on her third second onion and quickly grabbed a third.
"Does the Great Thunder Herd Clan take offense to pigs?" You asked thoughtfully and very carefully.
"No? Why would we?" Crowthu asked and Yotul burst out laughing, snorting at the question.
"I take it that rumor didn't get spread here." You put to her with a grin as you leaned forward to share a meaningful look with her.
"No," Yotul laughed as she shook her head no.
"What rumor?" Nar asked from his spot right across from you as both you and Yotul blushed deeply and snickered to each other.
"OK, you want to say this or do you want me to tell it?" You asked Yotul.
"You'll say it better than I will." Yotul returned before you just gulped down your wine to get to relax enough to explain this. "Ok, so among elves and humans, there is this rumor, that's very hurtful, insulting and horrible, which if you had any brains in you at all, you'd know it isn't true but it's regarded as a legend among most elves and some humans who live around elves that how orcs came into existence is a pig fucked a human girl and she gave birth to the first orc and the more the pig fucked her, the more orcs came into existence and from there they bred each other and orcs came into existence because they're not really people, they're half people, half beast and that's why every elf I've ever met seems to have a stick shoved right up their ass they're so fucking aloof like they think they know they're better than anyone else. But I've only met a handful." You explained as your blush crept down to your neck and chest as Crowthu and his kids looked at you in horrified shock.
"Like I said, it's a horrible hurtful rumor and not true in the least. But orcs who live near elves hear this so much and if and when they get invited to a feast, they're only served pigs and it's like a practical joke that they're in a way cannibals, eating their forefathers and so some orc clans refuse to eat pigs or pork rather, it's called a pig when it's alive and pork once it's dead and you're butchering it, but anyway, that's the rumor and that's why I asked that question the way I did. But it's a good thing that rumor is false because pigs are a wonderful, magical animal that make some amazing, like ridiculously good meat and fat. Like a pig will give you bacon from the belly, which is the strips of meat you guys ate this morning at breakfast, ham comes from the legs, which is the round pink meat you had at breakfast with your fried eggs too." You explained as Crowthu and his sons all made that 'oh yeah' hum.
"Anyway, Khagra and Bula sent plenty of both with me so we can have that for breakfast tomorrow if you want, also, bacon is referred to as the five layers of happiness, because when you look at it from the side, there's the skin, then a layer of fat, a thin layer of muscle, another layer of fat then another layer of muscle then another of fat then you reach the guts and once you cure it in salt, it keeps and keeps for a very long time and you slice it really thin and then fry it until it's crunchy or even chewy and oh gods is it good or you shave the hair off the whole pig by pouring boiling water over it then you take a razor and shave off the hair and the very outer layer of skin then you skin it and you fry the skin and you make chicharone once it's fried and it's so good, just so good, and then you can cut off all four legs and cure them and make ham, or roast them and then the loins, you chop those up into steaks and grill those if you want or what you could do, is instead of taking the pig apart and cooking everything separately, you gut it, spread it flat by dislocating the ribs from the spine and then roast the thing whole for like a full day and night, over white coals of really good wood and the skin crisps up really nicely and all the meat is like, pinch tender you gently pinch a piece of meat and it's so tender it shreds itself, I personally love it." You explained.
"Does my sister and her family eat pigs?" Yotul asked curiously.
"Oh yeah, they prefer them, it was your mother's favorite because the fish from the lakes and the stream isn't the same as it is in the sea, is that what you've found?" You asked her and she nodded yes adamantly.
"Yeah, the fish is shit around here." Yotul spat in disgust.
"Which ones do you eat? Because the lake fish, the skinny ones with the blue gils, I've made those for your sister and her family and they like those, you just have to coat them in flour and pepper and fry them in oil. Now the catfish, the ones who have long whiskers but don't touch them because they're just bendy barbs who like to stick to rivers with the wide white bellies, those can taste like the muck you pull them from if you eat the yellow meat which is the fatty meat, never eat the fatty yellow meat, it's so gross. Now there is a tiny shrimp with armor that looks like a tiny lobster, you can find those in most rivers and streams in the rocks, those are good if you boil them in heavy pepper water. I was going to go hunting for them in the morning to see if you'd like those." You offered her as she seemed to melt at that idea that you'd go through that much trouble for her.
"You don't have to go out of your way just for me." She offered which got her husband and children to blink in surprise as seeing the complete change in her attitude and self.
"Ok, I'll admit I love them, so if you don't like them, I'll eat them." You giggled.
"Ok, yeah, I haven't had shrimp in...forever, it's something I miss a lot." Yotul nodded. "So tell me more about Bula and her family." She invited you as Arob refilled your wine cup which you really didn't need, you felt free and comfortable around them now, but the wine was absolutely delicious.
"Oh my gosh, ok, so Bula like I said, she has three sons now, she had five but lost the eldest two in the last raid, so that's why the Black Wolf White Rock Clan really doesn't like to go to war or on raids and is more focused on protecting ourselves and does a lot of alliances so we, or I should say they, don't get raided, the middle one is now the oldest, and your sister has six daughters, four have been married off and the youngest two are still at home, now Grecko, who's now considered the first born, he's a character, he's not the most handsome guy." You couldn't help but wince but still laughed trying to say that which got everyone else to laugh too as Zorroku and all his brothers and father nodded in agreement to that. "But that's because the gods were very kind to us by not giving him his looks, because he has charm for days! And he's only 14, now, he wooed his wives when he was 12. Oh my gods, so his two wives are twins themselves and they are gorgeous, like if you think I'm pretty, they're leaps and bounds ahead and above me, it's not a fair comparison at all and..." You broke into a puddle of giggles. "Ok so Aysha and Ahshna, that's the only way to tell them apart, so they're actually from River City, I forget what we needed to go there in the first place, but anyway so Warchief Khagra and his sons went to a...um." You looked up at the ceiling as your blush got almost impossibly red. "To a variety of establishment that no noblewoman should ever enter." You tried to delicately say.
"Whorehouse," Yotul grinned with a giggle and you nodded in confirmation as you tried to keep your own giggling under control.
"Right, anyway, now that they're both warchieftesses, no one ever talks about it because you'll get your head chopped off because it's considered disrespectful, but anyway Aysha and Ahshna were drum dancers, very good ones, well they still are whenever there is a party and their mother was the head uh...worker there, like she ran that place better than some warchief's run their hordes and she's the one who's now in charge of the Black Wolf White Rock Clan's treasury, like that's how good she is, but when she's not in business mode, she's hilarious and a very easy going woman, I love and adore her, she's Mama Borba and she's also in charge of teaching everyone in the village all there is to know about math and household expenses, how to keep your house in order and of course the... uh... bedroom." You couldn't stop giggling and blushing and it got everyone to laugh in turn to see you talking about things like this because it was very entertaining. "Well considering she was a professional at it, she's qualified to teach it!" You exclaimed as you tried to reign in your own giggles as you covered your blushing face with your palms for a moment to hide for a second.
"So anyway, back to Grecko, so he's a natural poet and song writer and a very gifted musician, he's the one who taught me everything I know when it comes to music, anyway, he composed so many poems and songs for his wives and sang them like all day long while he was there, which he has a voice smoother than velvet, deeper than the oceans and it's so good, like he starts to sing and every single girl within earshot, our knees go weak and our hearts flutter and for the twins, it's like it melts their clothes off, it's dangerous, his first time bedding them was, very surprising for everyone, their wedding night back at the Black Wolf White Rock Clan village, and he bed them both at the same time and it was loud, so loud it kept the whole village up and me and Shuzug literally gagged from the top of a peach tree that we camped out in because we were both at that 'ew sex is gross and disgusting' stage and had to leave that night to go get damn golden eagle eggs out of a nest on a mountain that night just to get away from it and neither of us could look at him in the eye for like a week after because just...the noises they made and the things they said was just...shouldn't be physically possible, and.... ewwww!" You shuddered and gagged and squirmed in your seat as the whole family roared with laughter as you were pretty sure your cheeks were going to permanently be red but your mouth hurt from smiling so brightly and your sides started to hurt from laughing so much.
"Why is it ew?" Yoltul asked as she was laughing so hard she was crying.
"Because he's like my little brother! We grew up together! I'll have the same reaction when Shuzug gets married, in fact I don't know if he'll live to see me in a month because he's the kind of brilliant that most misconstrue as crazy. Which half of his ideas are in fact crazy nonsense, like he sent me 8 crows tonight and all of them were like 'Are you ok? I'm going to go climb the mountain for more eagle eggs tonight.' or 'Are you hurt in any way shape or form? I'm also going to a wolf den and kidnap some wild wolf pups to domesticate them, even if they're not black.' Because that's the Black Wolf White Rock Clan's thing, we breed black wolves on purpose, the huge den with the huge ass white rock in the middle of the village was a black wolf den that we just built around. Or the other ones were, 'I'm going to find a mountain lion den and steal a cub and raise it and domesticate it' or 'I'm going to go hunting for a bear with nothing but a knife' or 'steal the bear cub and raise it' and I'm like 'Dude!! I have aged 50 years just reading these! Half of my hair is now white, I have wrinkles and I've had a new heart attack every time I read a new message, you absolute fool! NO! Please don't do these things, please run them by your parents if you're dead set on them but please just don't go out and do these things without telling anyone ok?' Because I was all of his impulse control. I can't count the number of times both of his parents came to me and go 'Shuzug has this idea that will get him killed please talk him out of it.' because he has this crazy idea that because he's "so smart", he's smarter than anyone and everyone else, and I try to remind him that 'no, you may be book smart but you are sense stupid boy!' and you need to be smart in both before you go off and do anything on your own. That's why I'm sure his mother had the biggest reasons for not wanting me to go because now she has to watch him like a hawk herself to make sure he doesn't kill himself doing something stupid. Anyway then the middle son is Yar, Yar is so fucking annoying. He thinks he is the gods gift to women, which he isn't," You murmured with a meaningful look which just got everyone to laugh even more. "But he thinks that, and so he lifts great big weights so he has giant muscles, he has more muscle than sense or brains combined." You explained.
"Yeah, he's a big fucker." Zorroku nodded in agreement as his brothers nodded too and you snickered a laugh and had an inner struggle whether you should illuminate on that or not as you bit your lips to keep your face from splitting in half smiling so wide.
"Oh, wait, there's something there, come on, tell us." Yalak invited as he made sure your wine cup was full again from sitting kitty corner and across from Zorroku.
"It would be unkind to speak ill of family." You tried to be diplomatic about this even though you were dying to tell them.
"Come on! We won't tell we promise!" Nar offered.
"If this leaves this tent, he would never forgive me." You countered.
"It won't." They all swore, eager to hear all this juicy gossip about their own family.
"Ok so Yar, is all about being the biggest macho man and embraces everything that is masculine and rejects anything and everything even remotely feminine and it's getting toxic and everyone is sick of his shit and it's to the point, that every animal he eats, he only eats the male of every animal and he eats their cock and balls first to make his own manhood more "potent"." You explained as they all looked at you in disgust, some of them gagging at the thought. "And he has gone to every witch, every wizard, sorcerer, sorceress, every magic practicing person around and has paid unholy amounts of money on blessings for himself, to bless his strength, to bless his prowess, to bless his manliness, to just make him the epitome of manliness, and he has always dragged me along because, again, I'm the voice of reason to those boys and I am usually very discrete and I ask nicer and with more grace than he'll ever possess and so they gave me recipes for special medicine to prepare and feed him so that his muscles not only get big but stay big and his sense of pain is dulled significantly while his other senses, like his sight and his hearing get better along with improving his stamina among other things and the medicine works, it works very well but because he overdoses on it and eats it as fast as I can make it, it has had an unfortunate side effect, it has since shrunk his own cock and balls to the point that little three year old orc boys have the same size cock and balls he does and I've seen human men with much bigger cocks and balls than him and that is coincidentally why he's now single because he had two wives too who left him the moment everything shrunk before they could ever bear him children and he never bothered to learn how to please a woman otherwise and now women look at him with pants on and say 'hell yeah' and then try to screw him and say 'fuck no!' with his pants off and somehow women rejecting him is the woman's problem and not his and every girl in the clan knows this and stays far away from him so now he's just...toxic in personality and attitude." You revealed and everyone lost their minds laughing so loud and so hard they were all crying and nearly fell off the benches at the table, all of them shielding their manhood with their hands as if the very words could make that happen to them.
"Is there a way to reverse it?" Crowthu asked, having been tempted to ask for you to make up that medicine for himself and his sons.
"Not really no, not that I know of anyway, he went back to every witch and wizard and demanded that they give him an even bigger cock and balls than he had before and they all told him that there was no such spell and flatly refused to make one up and he tried to strong arm them and intimidate them and threaten them and it was a disaster because they all begrudgingly gave him the most fragile ever blessings he bought and paid for because he's a demanding jerk and difficult to deal with but they liked me so much, they added in very strong and robust blessings just for me for free as a bonus because I patiently dealt with him and was very respectful and gracious with them, and because I'm so interested in food and spices and to a degree, medicine, they've given me plants and herbs and spices and blessed me with recipes for medicine and poison alike and then when Yar went back to them and demanded what he did, they easily broke their previous blessings and out of spite, transferred to me all the blessings they had given him only stronger and much better versions of them, that's why I can I hunt as well as I can and if I ever needed to- could swing a battle ax or war hammer and carry a heavy broadsword as good as, if not better than any other warrior. And whatever weapons I use, to me they'll feel super light and the bow will feel like I'm pulling back a loose string and in the moment, I'm two to three times stronger than my opponents and faster than lightning itself, it's like time itself slows down for me and that's how I was able to kill those wolves as fast as I could. But the problem with all of that is, is none of it is transferable, and as a human woman who 1. isn't allowed to go on raids or to battle or war or anything like that and 2. I have absolutely no desire to do any of that and the thought of a raid, battle or war terrifies me and gives me horrific night terrors- so the blessings are completely useless to me and were only given to me out of spite." You answered, feeling the wine loosen your lips and they all nodded in understanding.
"And actually we owe you an apology about the wolves and the bucks, we should have believed you. We will never doubt you or underestimate you again." Yalak offered.
"Thanks." You nodded before you all finally relaxed completely, feeling more free and at ease at this table than you ever did at home and enjoyed the meal as you finally got all of them to talk to you and to finally get to know everyone and you were pleasantly surprised when you actually felt like you were surrounded by friends and family as you fought to keep your eyes open the more the night wore on, usually you would have been asleep for a couple of hours by now. When you finally went to bed, you took Ori with you, after making sure it was ok with Rek and Zorroku, as you made space for her in your bed after all her things were brought into your room by Zorroku, Glasha and Rek before you were left alone for the night, she woke up briefly, just wanting to nurse again as your whole body curled around her in your bed, your mothering instincts kicking in very strongly and telling you to so, petting her silky but thin hair as your arm was her pillow, singing softly to her, until she fell asleep in your arms, cuddled close to you as you made sure the bed was piled high with furs and that extra wood was on your fire so that your tent would be really warm for her as you reflected on your day and the great and wonderful changes that had occurred and how your world just changed but really, it just improved by leaps and bounds. You thought you just might be happy here after all and your dreams that night were just more and more dreams of Zorroku that you had had during your nap earlier.

Tumblr media
Tumblr thought it would be hilarious to delete all my work and not let me answer requests :').
YES I SHALL WRITE THE PLATONIC ANGRY PARENTS-
And thank you-I woke up and was talking to my friend in the morning and my brain just: jojo villain yandere dads. Mudad mudad mudad mudad anger.
Anyways, here they are- Do these even count as headcanons???? I dunno-
Dio, Part 1
Vampire form of course.
First thing first, We all know he'd be a great dad. Protective already, But make him a yandere platonic father? Oh boy, Trust me, You'd be spoiled and treated like royalty.
Now, I'm gonna say in this scenario you were on of his victims child. I'll say you'll be around 5 to eight.
Somehow you managed to catch his eye, Is it because your parent was just as bad as his? You reminded him of his mother? Or maybe you resemble him, and have three moles on your ear. Or, perhaps, A younger joestar? Either way, You somehow had him feeling like a father, and, according to one of my friends, Araki had said DIO would treat his children like they were royalty, And they would be so spoiled.
So, Mudad would end up taking you in, kidnapping, whichever honestly. He'd be holding you like a loving pet owner would, if you got scared, he'd probably be confused. Honestly he'd have you turned into a vampire quickly, as he knew he wouldn't be able to have children as a Vampire.
Truthfully, I think you'd end up never noticing how he'd occasionally pull you closer, or how he'd glare at anyone your age or older going near you. Or how he'd give you some strict rules, Like no dating anyone. E v e r. And why would you ever want to hurt your papa like that?! You wouldn't want to do that, right?! Of course you wouldn't! Dio knew you'd never betray him like that!!
Truth be told, he'd guilt you if you tried to go against his words. But punishments? No no, He'd never actually purposefully hurt you, Unlike his love interest, he'd NEVER want to cause you pain ever. He'd hate himself and wouldn't forgive himself for years. Centuries. Infact, he'd beg for your forgiveness.
The Pillarmen
And satannnaaaaa
First of all, You aren't a pillarchild. You'd most likely be some kind of god, vampire, or a young hamon learner. Or even related to the Joestars or Ceasar.
So, Let's say you're immortal who can walk in the sun. We all know you'd be the joestar side, Right? So, That means you'd end up hating or feeling pity for the pillarmen. First, You'd probably end up trying to make Santana hally when he awakens. Unlike with Joseph, He'd probably know not to attempt to attack you. Let's say you have symbols like Dio Over heaven, We all know how that would work.
You'd end up as a being worshipped by them, probably kidnapped after they destroy the Joestars.
Let's say they defeated Joseph and the others, and you were still a deity, You'd most likely be weaker then them in this scenario. They'd probably treat you like a kitten at first, like a baby before they all felt a connection. As if you were a child of their own, so they'd give you rules. And we all know how rules go with yanderes.
Let's say uh- you fell for a mortal.
"No. No."
[Crush name has fallen from a high place.]
"DADS WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUU-"
"NO CUSSING IN THIS CHRISTIAN MINECRAFT SERVER!"
or something like that :')
Honestly, You'd have bird dad, and a bunch of other dads. Santana would honestly be like the cool big brother honestly. You'd probably want horns too so-
They would totally buy you halloween horns to put on your head so you'd be happy baby
Now, Hamon user? They'd probably find you like a cute animal at first, probably going easy on you like it was a game of tag. Soon, they'd realize how weak and fragile you are, After all, You are just starting hamon. They'd probably kidnap you to spite Joseph and his side at first, before... Well, You didn't expect to become a vampire and treated like royalty when all you've been treated like is uh... Considering Lisalisa is your coach, I'd say you'd be happy if it was someone else doing this for you.
Josephs sibling? WOAH Joseph, When did you get a cute sibling? Pfft, Not your sibling anymore, They just adopted your ex sibling nerd.
But, All jokes aside, They'd probably be surprised that you were more mature then your brother, and...you sorta resemble a certain Coach... Oh, Humans all look the same, haha.
They'd probably kidnap you infront of Joseph just to make him feel guilt and rage, After all, Why not get their prized treasure and make Joseph angry? They'd give you more rules, until Joseph was gone, of course.
And, sadly, Not even you crying would stop them from making you into a vampire infront of your big brother, breaking both of your hearts.
Don't worry you got ice cream later smh.
Ceasars sibling? Mini pancake? Haha, They'd kidnap you as soon as they felt parent like tendencies. No denying them, infact, they'd make sure you saw ceasar get defeated by the ro ck. But don't worry! You have new parents and a brother-! Haha, Poor you.
Part 3 DIO AKA mudad!
Honest to god you'd probably have to be a stand user with a weak or strong stand, or, you were one of his kids he had with a lucky woman who survived and got a naked polaroid of him as a 'wow you lived! Congrats, now go have my kid lmao' gift. Or, Maybe you were a normal kid who was kind to him, even if he,,,,  did some questionable murder infront of you. And maybe you were a young
Now, Let's say you were a strong stand user. He'd end up wanting to use a flesh bud until he realized... He never had a kid, that he knows of, and decided to raise you! At first he'd be upset you had a strong stand like your mudad, but realized you could protect yourself from those dreadful joestars! Congrats, You became a Brando! :) How unlucky, Considering this DIO would probably force vampire masks onto you, or even using fleshbuds as a threat. Either way, You'll always be papas baby!
Yoshikage kira.
Like I said in my first post of this, He'd want to have a nice average life. You having a stand wouldn't be a problem, Since he'd probably convince you Josuke and the others are awful and rude.
Josukes sibling? Well, He'd end up telling you he can help your brother with his murder issue if you come with him. You don't exactly have a choice since Killer queen would easily overpower you if you had disagreed. You'd end up being a normal and peaceful child before long, Infact, He'd have to pretend he had adopted you behind his 'wifes' back.
Hayotos friend he never talks about? Congrats, You are now stuck with a crazy and loving father! And a mother, I suppose. And you get your best friend as a brother! You'd never be able to leave, how sad. But, You'd have your new mom and your dad to talk to-! And killer queen cuddle time.
Now, Let's say you were his own kid. Wowzers! You think its normal for your father to bring women hands home, after all, You are pretty young and your father told you most adults do this. Ah. How enjoyable.
Doppio/Diavolo
Oh dear. You poor child.
Either you were related to trish, and he somehow felt like you wouldn't be a problem before they felt more of a father love towards you, Most likely somehow getting rif of the traitors and your big sister.
"Where's big sister?"
"Don't worry about her, She's spending time with your mother."
Smh quit LIEING you jERK!
But seriously, Doppio would be like the fun mom asking you if you'd like bake cupcakes in his spare time! Read you bed time stories and whatnot! Diavolo would be awkward and "wanna play baseball or whatever kids like to do these days?" Awkward dad alert.
"My kid is fine!"
The kid they kidnapped/raised:
Casually trying to beat another kid with a baseball.❤💚💛
Honestly they'd insult everyone elses kids while here their kid is, casually scared of baseball.
Pucci
Papa priest! We all know he'd adopt you! I head canon him as gay, considering DIO and him were totally a thing.
So, He'd probably have you study Lord DIO bibles, and casually have you hate Jolyne. Probably even give you a stand, And even show you that DIO is the best! Worship! Protect yourself and all that!
Jotaro would probably scare you,  so I can see you holding onto Pucci while Jotaro appears anytime, so pucci would infact love it when you snuggle onto him lime a cute kitten. Hell, you even Sneeze like a kitten!
Honestly You'd be kept under watch 24/7, but you'd think it was normal, after all, Your father would mever do something so awful like Those Joestars claim...right?
Diego
Oh wow- dino dad :)
Let's say you were a big fan of his, Then, Well,You wouldn't mind having him as a dad, Now would you? He is your idol, Right? Yeah. Yeah!
He'd probably carry you around upside down, Hot pants just questioning his sanity as he drops you a million times. Hot pants would probably end up carrying you most of the time.
Mama hot pants and father Diego. Y es.
And, Let's say you were traveling with Johnny. Congrats. You've put yourself in a even worse situation considering Diego would become worried and paranoid over those two idiots hurting you! And he hates the idea of his baby boy/girl/child being hurt by barbarians!!!
Even though he'd probably hurt you on accident if I'm gonna be honest.
Kidnapping isn't a very easy job, so of course he had to knock you out! What was he supposed to do?! Ask you to come stay with him forever?! No! Maybe! HuawhuKaia-
Honestly not too many rules, just don't leave his side ever! Except when going to the bathroom. You'll be tied to his horse. No whining >:(.
Funny Valentine
Honestly what did you think he was going to do? Pick some random child? No no, He'd choose the PERFECT child! You were so lucky! Wow! The daughter of the mos powerful man ever! Lucky you, Right?
No. You don't get alone time unless it's you sleeping or bathing. You wear what he wants, and no.
Dating not allowed. Bad. No no no no no.
"No. No dating. Your lips will fall off."
"but mommys lips didn't-"
"Your face will melt off."
Basically you'd be bossed around and treated like royalty, as long as you listen to you dad!
Honestly I don't know if this is headcanons, if if it isn't feel free to scream at me in the comments-
AND I AM SO SORRY ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO ACTUALLY ANSWER, SO I HOPE YOU SEE THIS AND ARE ABLE TO ENJOY IT??? I GUESS???

Chapter 236
Tumblr media
Trey
Last thing I want to do is end my marriage. That's never what you think about when making a stupid choice. Following up with a thought instead of thinking it through. That's where impulse gets you. To the point of a failed marriage.
"Jayla?" I say rubbing her leg.
"Where did my mother go?"
I shrug a bit. "She is about as..."
Chris comes walking into the room. "The hell wrong with you Cammies?"
"Ain't nothing wrong with me. There's only one Cammie." Cammie snaps.
"Oh yeah?" Chris says leaving back out. "Mama Cammie."
"Christopher." She snaps rolling her neck.
Chris shrugs once he is behind her back. I chuckle. Cammie and her mother do act similar to one another. Especially when mad or upset. They really look alike then. Gwen sits on the bed. She plays with her phone then she sighs heavily.
"I don't know what to say." Mama Cammie sighs.
"There's nothing to say. It was years ago."
Mama Cammie shakes her head. "Imagine someone hurting your son. You gonna feel like it's nothing? Someone needs some scars. I will be upset until I feel like I did something."
"It's too late."
"No it is not. You went to the hospital. I'm sure they did an assessment on you. I just got to find out what it said and who I need to press some charges against."
Cammie narrows her eyes at her. "You can't do that. Everyone knows… Everyone will know. No."
"Well your father... Lonnie is coming to California."
"Why did you tell him?" Cammie yells scaring Caden.
I move to her to get Caden. She swats at me holding him closer to her. Shit. I don't know what to do. I know she doesn't want me to walk out. I'm not even going to attempt to walk out.
"Better to tell Lonnie than me." Mama Cammie snaps. "I can't handle this."
"That's the problem."
Mama Cammie stands up. "I'm just so angry with you."
"Cause it's my fault?" Cammie cries.
"No. Of course not." Mama Cammie puts her hands on her hips. "You never had to go through any of this alone. I know we were close. You told me everything. I never wanted nothing but you to be the best Cammie you could. Dancing on some stage doesn't tell your whole story. All I saw was you not wanting to talk about that boy because I told you what would happen loving him. I just thought you couldn't take me saying I told you so. So I didn't say it."
"Good." Cammie snaps.
I try once again to take Caden. He wasn't liking Cammie being upset. He was ignoring every attempt she made of calming him down.
"I've dealt with... I don't know Jayla. If you never wanted me there then how could I be there?" Mama Cammie shrugs. "What do you want?"
"Nothing." Cammie says letting me take Caden.
He screams loudly. Shit. I walk around the room. Mama Cammie takes him from me. He cries loud again but calms down as she dramatically rocks him. Cammie's ass is fucking spoiled. You mad at your Mama cause she wasn't there but now you mad at her for trying to fight for you. My Jayla.
"Mama, you are a counselor. How would you help your client connect with her daughter?"
"Son, I just say some horse, you know what. They just like hearing someone neutral. They like being able to speak and someone listens."
I chuckle. "Jayla not listening to nobody."
"Jayla is Jayla." Her mother says. "I'm just mad at her for not thinking we were close to share stories. We just yell at each other. She should have been diagnosed years ago."
Cammie sucks her teeth. "With what?"
"Best baby making genes." Gwen says in a baby voice to Caden. "You so sweet."
"But I made that though."
Gwen smiles. "With Trey's help."
I chuckle. "Yeah that was me. Sweetness."
"Sugar flowing through your veins. Just freaking sweet." Cammie says cutting me an evil angry look.
"Jayla text your father and tell him not to come. He might feel unwanted and not come."
I chuckle. "I'm sure he already on the way."
Cammie randomly looks down her shirt. She grabs Lane's cup from the table and puts it in her shirt then sigh. Someone clears their throat. I don't know if it was Cammie or her mother. They were both looking at me. I chuckle to myself. A part of me was thinking damn I like Mommy titties. Leaking milk. I turn around and walk out the room. Bout to get hard in front of the wrong mama. Still tryna make her like me. That family is tough at getting close to. I walk into my mama's bedroom.
"Gwen taking your place with the boys." I say.
"I kicked that Chuckie Doll out of here." She snaps. "Bad ass little boy. Opened the gift I had for Forrest. Talking about it's for his brother."
I laugh. "That's where he got those pacifiers?"
She rolls her eyes. "Your wife is right majority of the time when it comes to her kids. Remember that. She knows what she doing. I should've learned how to beat his cute face when he was less mischievous. Not so smart."
"Cammie and her Mama had a talk."
"Good." Ma nods. "Gwen knows her daughter as well. She controls that crazy side."
I nod thinking about the conversation. "Damn were you there?"
"I already know, Tremaine. I didn't have to be there. Best thing you can do for your marriage is get those two back together. I was wrong about Cammie's mother. Just like I was wrong about Cammie. They rub you the wrong way at first."
I nod in agreement. Nothing needed. That's so true.

Rollie
"You trying to piss me off on purpose."
I turn around looking at Leah. "Who?"
She looks me up and down. "You."
"What the fuck you talking about?" I ask calmly.
"Don't worry about it."
I shrug. "Fine."
All I did was walk in the bedroom and open my suitcase. I didn't do anything else. She didn't say anything else. So what am I supposed to say to what? I'm making her mad on purpose. By walking in the room? I check my phone to be sure she didn't send me anything. I don't even know.
"Aye, come here."
"No. You can't erase stuff with your fucking charm."
I sit down facing. "Is it cause you pregnant? What is it?"
"Just leave it alone."
"Yo, come here." I say again. Still trying not to be overly aggressive which I do a lot.
She sucks her teeth then walk over to me but not close enough to touch. "What's the difference between me here and there?"
I stand up going to her. Good question. I walk into her belly on purpose. She like 7 months and it really shows how close she is to having the baby.
"What did I do?"
"Same shit you always do." She snaps. I rub her hips. She battles with herself then gives in. "I tell Jordan no or I take something from her then you come and undo me completely. Take my opinion away like I'm not her mother."
I shrug. "Oh."
"Oh?"
"I thought I did something else." I say then chuckle. "What I did today that I need to fix?"
She folds her arm. "Did you ask why her phone was in here?"
"She just said it was in here. Leah." I pause. "I don't know what she said. I told her to go get her phone."
"She was texting in some group chat with older boys and girls. I don't remember all the shit they were talking about but nobody was filtering anything."
I frown. "Why didn't you tell me?"
She shrugs. "When did I have time, Rollie?"
"I know you did." I nod. "We have a child coming. If you doing all the parent shit alone what you need me for? Talk to me while the shit happening. You should have called me into the room before you took her phone. Now she has to be punished again when we could have done it together the first time."
"Blame it on me."
I slap her thigh then walk away. "Stop whining. I'll be back."
"Rollie?" My mom says stopping in the hallway. "While I'm already being the worst mother on the planet, I minus well talk to you. You probably feel like I did you wrong as well. Well I didn't. But I do want to say that you are being selfish by holding something against me that's your fault. I mean... what I'm saying is I won't take back what I said about you running the streets trying to get yourself killed. You made the decision to continue running the streets instead of getting your life together."
She pauses, maybe for a response. I'm not sure why cause ain't shit to say.
"You could have been anything more than a convicted felon. I never wanted you to limit yourself to that. Your father wouldn't have it. But anyway. I really want to be in your life. You are still my baby boy. My only son. My first child. The first person I knew I would have and love forever. Nobody was there for you more than me your whole life. So yeah... I'm a bitch I know. But you aren't too far from the block in a male sense. You just stubborn."
I shrug. "Okay."
"Okay, nothing Rollie." She snaps.
"So what do you want?" I shrug. These fucking women.
She giggles. "A hug."
I frown my face. A fucking hug? "Okay, Cheesy."
I hug her short ass. I don't know who this lady is that wants to work on her fucking attitude. Never has she wanted to work with people to correct the shit her ass has done. But she saying let's forget the shit in the past. I'm okay with that. I do want her to be in my child's life. She was a great mother. Like she said she was always there for me when I was doing right. I'm just getting my damn life together.
"I can make you feel better and be a man about mine. I should have listened to you. Finished high school and went to college."
"You aren't even 40. You can be everything you could have been at 20." She smiles patting my back. "I'm sorry we had to go through so much to undo a broken heart. I should have just... I don't know. Don't know what I should have done."
I hug her tighter. My mother was probably 5'5 with 6' heels. I look down at her teeth. Top of her head came to my shoulders and she had on shoes. I never thought about what I would do if my mother came to me apologetic or whatever the hell she calls this. Didn't expect it. But she my mama at the end of the day and I would go broke paying someone else to wipe her ass if she needed it. I guess we all growing up.
"Are we done here? You soft."
She walks away abruptly. I don't know about this suddenly redemption shit. It's all good though. Like I said I want her in my child's life. She fucking spoils Lane and he adores her like his other grandma. So I can try.
"Why are you standing in the hallway, Rollie? I just knew you weren't doing what you should have been." Leah whines. "Can you get my food from the front door?"
"Yeah." I say walking away. "Then do what?"
She sucks her teeth. "Get your daughter."
"Oh." I say walking away then cutting my eyes back towards her.
When she became my daughter? Before we was mad about her being my daughter. Now she calling her that. Jordan sees me coming and hides.
"I heard what mommy said. Don't come get me."
"Go to your mother." I say walking to the front.
She whines. "She won't listen. She just yells."
"I'm coming in there. Give me that phone then go stand near the door. Wait for me."
"You said I could get it." She whines.
"Don't make this hard on us."
She stomps out the room leaving her phone on the couch. I sigh.
"Get back in here. I said give it to me."
"Not fair." She whispers.
I take the phone from her. "Stop acting."
Know she doesn't get in trouble. Might get this piece of shit taken for a night. She has a damn tablet anyway. I walk to the front door and take the food. She could have told me it wasn't paid for. I go dig through Cammie's purse and take a 50 dollar bill from a stack. Look at this shit. Fucking rich ass. I'll tell her. Maybe.

This is Cody Posey. Cody murdered his entire family when he was 14 years old; a few years later, at age 21, he was released back into society.
Cody had been living on a ranch in Hondo, New Mexico with his father, Delbert "Paul" Posey, his step-mother, Tryone, and his step-sister, 13 year old Marilea Schmid. From day one Cody's life had been troubled; two electricians would later recall doing some work for Paul when Cody was approximately 18 months old; apparently baby Cody did something which his father didn't appreciate, and Paul took his belt off. The electricians claim they had to physically pull the man off of this baby. Cody's biological mother, Carla Burst, couldn't deal with the abuse, she left Paul pretty early on. A bitter custody battle which stretched out over the years ensued; Carla finally gained full custody after Cody was beaten black and blue with a board by his father. The boy was thrilled to be with his Mama, but tragically Cody's happiness would only last a few months; there was a roll over car wreck which took the life of Carla Burst. Cody begged and pleaded not to be placed with his father, but that's precisely where he was sent.
From here on out Cody was abused each and every single day. The boy was beaten and forced to work 7 days a week on the ranch, from dawn to dusk, often without any food at all. But simple beatings and work wasn't the worst of it, Paul was sadistic bastard; he used an electric cattle prod on his son, beat the child with a lasso, dragged him behind a horse, and this is only some of the physical abuse in which this child withstood! Sadly Paul's wife, Tryone, was no better, and even Cody's stepsister was recruited to join in on the abuse; Marilea was rewarded for telling her parents whenever Cody did something his father wouldn't approve of. Even at school Cody could find no solace; he was watched like a hawk by his perfect stepsister who was just slightly younger than him, and beaten for every and any little thing. For Cody there were no buddies to hang out with, no football teams to cheer for, no days spent riding around on his bicycle, no little girlfriends to crush on. Cody was nothing more than an unpaid ranch hand and his father's whipping boy, and that's it. Well, I say unpaid, but that's not completely true: Cody was allowed ten dollars per month. Paul cashed the monthly SSI checks which Cody received from his mother's death, yet the boy reportedly worked every single day for months with holes in his boots until he could save enough allowance to purchase a new pair of work boots! Yes, child protective services was called several times throughout the years (I read somewhere that the abuse was reported 7 times!) but nothing was ever done; it's just one of those cases where everyone dropped the ball.
All of this went on for years, and maybe the teen never would've retaliated but Tryone and Paul finally pushed the boy too damn far. You know that old saying: There's only so many times you can kick a dog before he bites back? Cody finally bit back. On the evening before of the murders, 4th of July in 2004, Cody claims he was called to his parent's bedroom; when he walked in to see what was required of him, Cody found his stepmother, Tyrone, laying completely naked in her bed. Paul ordered that Cody be intimate with Tryone while he watched, and his nude stepmother attempted to pull the teen to her chest. When Cody refused, his father burnt him on the shoulder with a scrap of metal and a torch! The teen bit Tryone, an act for which Cody was burnt by his father once again. He somehow managed to get away from the situation, the teenager ran to his bedroom where he claims to have cowered in fear the rest of the night. Paul and Tryone had been abusing this young man for years; they'd beaten, tortured, isolated, starved, and humiliated him, but they would not sexually abuse him. In the morning Cody went out to perform his usual duties which included cleaning out the horse stalls. He wasn't performing this "chore" quickly enough, and his father slapped him; Cody later testified that this was when "I more or less lost my mind", it's thought that the teen likely dissociated. Cody grabbed a .38 Special out of his sister's saddlebag, went into the house, and walked up behind his step mother who was nestled up on the couch with a book; the teenager blew a couple of holes through his female abuser's skull. When his father and step sister heard the gun blasts they immediately ran to see what was the matter; the teen shot Paul, then he turned the gun on his sister. How could he leave Marilea alive when it had been her job in life to tattle on him for everything? When his family was dead, the teen loaded the bodies up in a backhoe, dumped them in a ravine, then covered them up with piles of manure. That right there says a whole heck of a lot about the way Cody felt, doesn't it? He physically buried his family in actual crap! Afterwords the teen discarded the murder weapon in a local body of water, drove his murdered father's vehicle to the store for a bottle of Sprite, then he went off to stay with a buddy until his arrest.
So the ranch was owned by a well known local reporter named Sam Donaldson, and by the 6th of July Sam had grown concerned. Paul had been strangely silent, so Sam and his wife decided to drive out to the property and see what was going on. Though Cody had buried the bodies in a crappy shallow grave, he hadn't even attempted to clean up any of the blood or gore; after walking into the home Sam called police. Cody was promptly arrested and charged with triple homicide, crimes to which he quickly confessed; the three corpses were soon recovered.
Much of the abuse in which Cody had survived came out during trial; literally dozens of witnesses testified on the teenagers behalf. A ranch hand named Isabel Vasquez testified to having seen Paul hit Cody in the stomach and shoulder with a pipe for no reason whatsoever, he had watched Paul strike the teen with rocks the size of golf balls, and in the photo I'm enclosing Isabel is demonstrating how Paul used a large metal hook to punish Cody for not moving bales of hay quickly enough.
The physical and emotional abuse was backed up by many witnesses, but of course nobody had been around during the attempted sexual abuse. That said, there's evidence which points towards it being the truth: during the investigation police discovered incestuous pornography on Paul's personal computer. This type of porn, much of it parent/child incest, had often been frequented while Cody and his sister were at school.
Sandy Schmid was Paul's second wife; the two had been married for 5 years while Cody was little. Sandy testified that Paul had always been abusive, and while she was living in the home she had done her very best to protect her stepson from his father's wrath. Sandy also stated that Paul had always had a strange obsession with incest porn. Nearly everyone begged the judge to have mercy on this young man, including the biological father of Cody's murdered stepsister; Marilea's dad, Jake Schmid testified on his daughter's killers behalf! It's a strange situation though, because Jake knew Cody pretty well; Jake had married Paul's second wife, Sandy, so when Jake would pick up Marilea for weekend visits, Cody would come with and spend time with the stepmother. Jake stated on the stand that he had always believed Paul to be abusive towards Cody, that he'd seen fear in the boy's eyes more than once when it was time to go home; Marilea's father also said that he did not hold any ill will towards the young man for what he had done, he felt nothing but empathy for his daughter's killer.
Now not everyone felt sorry for the teenager; the state claimed that Cody's abuse was widely over exaggerated. Their case was that Cody had become angry after his father smacked him as punishment for not cleaning out the horse stalls quickly enough, and they submitted seemingly happy family photos as proof that there had been no ongoing abuse. One of the few witnesses for the prosecution was Verlin Posey, Paul's brother. Verlin claimed that he had never noticed any abuse, nor did he ever see any bruises on Cody. Verlin was seemingly pleased with the idea that his nephew would be spending his life in prison: "One lifetime in prison is a pretty small debt for three.".
Cody was convicted of 1st degree murder in the case of his stepsister, Marilea, 2nd degree murder for killing stepmother Tryone, and manslaughter in the case of his father, Paul. There were also 4 charges of evidence tampering; Cody was looking at life imprisonment. Apparently it was left up to the judge to decide whether the teen was sentenced as an adult or a youthful offender. After hearing all of the evidence in this case, the judge had mercy; Cody was sentenced to psychiatric treatment, and to remain in a juvenile facility until he turned 21 years of age.
In September of '06 a couple of Paul's relatives (I'm willing to bet it was his brother, Verlin) filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the creators of the video game Grand Theft Auto and Sony, among others. In a nutshell, they claimed that the teen had been trained to kill by the video game GTA.
While incarcerated the teen finished highschool and continued his education with college. On October 9th of 2010, which was Cody's 21st birthday, he was released; today he is free, and that's pretty much all we know. He's blending in somewhere, presumably living amongst us.

*I usually *try* to leave my opinion at the door, so to speak, but it's not really possible in this case; this is one killer who I would not mind living next door to me. There is so much abuse which was witnessed by people, so much was left out of this article. They isolated and abused this kid in every way possible. Anyways, I hope Cody is faring well out there, and that adult life is kinder to him than childhood was. Everyone has their breaking point, right? Have you ever thought about it? What could drive you to murder?

so this is probably super weird but could we please maybe see Deb Kate and Anthony for spicy Sunday?? I just love them, they are so young and trauma free and in love!
Right so Debutante Kaye isn’t good at cooking, but you mentioned she might have skills elsewhere thag Anthony find more than appealing 🌶🌶🌶 Can we see a sneak peak?
Ahhh... These two little horn dogs. There's a reason Kate was pregnant just five months after their wedding: They're horny teenagers who just figured out how to do the sex.
Surely, there was something wrong with her. There had to be. There had to be something wrong with her, because surely every woman did not go around all day desiring their husbands this much. Mary had of course sat in the room with her above the Horse and Harrier the night before her wedding, her fingers twisting uncomfortably.
"Darling, I know this may seem a little... ridiculous to you, given you've already likely-"
Kate's cheeks had burned. "Mama, Anthony and I haven't- we've... kissed and perhaps once or twice he removed his shirt when I asked but that's all."
Mary had looked so surprised, her lips parted with it for several moments before she said- "Well, of course, I only- many couples when their is love involved preempt their marital vows."
Kate had startled, her mind racing. "Mama, I don't want to hear about you and Appa!"
"I didn't mean to-" Mary cut herself off with a sigh, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Darling, are you... do you have any questions?"
And it had bubbled out of Kate before she could stop it. "What if I'm not very... good at it? What if he doesn't find me... pleasing I suppose?"
Mary stared back at her for a long moment before she sighed, brushing Kate's hair back from her forehead, tucking it behind her ear. "My darling, where there is love there is no reason to be scared. There is nothing so natural as this when you're in love, I promise."
But Kate hadn't believed her. Hadn't believed her even as she'd sat down on the bed in the tiny cottage not far from Anthony's family's farmhouse, with her cheeks burning as Anthony had cleared his throat.
"Alone at last and I'm not worried your father will find out and skin me alive."
She'd chuckled despite her nervousness, "He wouldn't skin you. He might have hit you in the knees with a cane."
"Much better." Anthony had agreed, silence tense and awkward between them before Anthony had sighed, "I'm sorry, I'm very nervous."
"So am I." She'd sighed, relaxing a little as Anthony had tucked his arm around her waist, still in her wedding dress, his chin resting on her shoulder.
"I've only... done this once before and I'm worried you won't... enjoy yourself." Anthony admitted, his fingers intertwined with hers and suddenly the idea seemed so ludicrous.
"Anthony I can't imagine being with you in any way would not be enjoyable."
"If you don't enjoy anything, you have to tell me. I'm your husband and all I want is to please you." He'd had his forehead pressed against hers, his hands soft on her face just before their lips touched. And his hands had shaken a little when he'd tugged at her corset, and hers had ripped a button from his shirt as she'd tugged at it, and his voice had been reverent when he'd made her his wife and they'd gasped together. You are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and when they'd lay together in the after with the fire crackling in the grate, gasping for air, Kate hadn't been able to stop herself from letting out a hysterical giggle.
"I think I'm going to quite like being a wife."
Anthony's breath had shuddered nuzzling against her bare chest where he'd collapsed. "I absolutely bloody love being a husband. I'm not going to work tomorrow, we aren't leaving this bed Mrs Bridgerton until I know what absolutely every inch of you tastes like, I'm afraid."
"Well if you insist."
"I do. I'm afraid I do."
Of course it had been rather embarrassing to stand in front of Anthony's mother the day after their day in bed, when she must have known the reason for their absence, but Anthony hadn't seemed at all bothered. And Kate had thought this would change. That her cheeks wouldn't grow hot whenever she saw Anthony, that she'd grow used to how his body looked as he wielded the scythe, how he looked on his horse, powerful and strong and hers and she burned.
But it didn't. And she didn't. And all she did was desire her husband, it seemed. She burned for him in the morning, when he stood from their bed as the dawn broke naked as the day he was born and his skin glowed in the sun as he groaned, looking back at her in bed. Pull the sheets up, my love. If I see you like that I'll never leave. And she thought about him all day. Thought about the way his hands, rough from work, felt on her skin, the way his lips felt against hers the way his lips felt trailing down her body. The way his voice broke on her name as his hips stuttered against hers. The moment he came through the front door in the afternoon, her hands reached for him tugging his lips down to hers, swallowing the fevered groan that rose in his chest I thought about you all day sweetheart while her fingers tugged at the fastenings on his breeches. And it never stopped.
She loved the land that they lived on, the fields that rolled on forever and the animals in the distance, the peace and quiet. And as the afternoon sun set she'd become fond of sitting among the wildflowers that grew behind the cottage picking flowers to sit on the table in their kitchen, watching for the first signs of Anthony, jumping over the fence from the farm.
It was just like that today, the birds chirping in the afternoon sun, flowers all around her.
"My lady!"
Anthony's voice carried on the wind towards her, forcing her head up in surprise given he shouldn't be home for another hour at least, but there he was, jumping down from the fence. The sun was shining in his hair casting little streaks of red into it, the shadow on his cheeks the slight beard that grew during the day, the grin on his face, always so handsome at this time of day. his neckcloth abandoned, braces hanging around his waist, his shirt unbuttoned nearly to his navel.
"You're early!" She called back, watching him run towards her, his boots crunching through the grass, his smile growing as she stood, waiting for what she knew would come.
"I was extra quick about my work today." He caught her around the waist, spinning her around as he lifted her, his lips clashing against hers, his tongue slipping over hers, a grin on his face as he pulled back, his thumb swiping gently over her cheekbones. "I thought about you all day."
Kate sighed letting herself relax against his chest the closeness between them tugging at the heat in her stomach. "What did you think about? My cooking no doubt."
Anthony chuckled, ducking down to kiss her quickly again. "Oh no doubt Mrs Bridgerton." His fingers were skimming over her thighs, still through her dress but she could feel the heat of his hand, his voice deepening in her ear. "I thought as well about how I wanted to sink between your legs the minute I got home, how I wanted to take you right here, amongst the flowers."
Kate felt her cheeks burn, her fingers already tugging his shirt from his breeches. "Why out here?"
Anthony chuckled, tugging at her dress until it slipped down, leaving her in her corsets. "When we first met, and we'd sit together at the edge of the park I wanted you so badly. I'd go back to my inn and think about how you'd feel around me, and i'd finish in my hand just thinking about it."
Kate let out a groan, tugging Anthony's shirt from his chest, letting it float to the ground, the feel of his warm skin under her hands, warm against her own skin.
"If you'd asked me, I would have let you."
Anthony groaned, his fingers slipping between her legs eyes fluttering closed at the feel of her, swallowing her gasp with his tongue. "Don't tell me that, don't tell me that sweetheart."
Already she couldn't breathe, her arms wrapping tightly around his neck as Anthony's fingers slipped over her, into her, his eyes catching with hers, burning together in the fading light.
"You're so perfect, sweetheart, so perfect."
heat was building quickly between them, Kate's hips rocking towards him a little desperately, her eyes slipping closed as Anthony's hand gripped at her chest, his lips nipping at her neck, pushing her higher and higher, the heat, even in the open air, stifling and-
No, Anthony, I want you. I want you instead.
Anthony let out a desperate growl, his lips crashing against hers again, his hands tugging at her hips until her legs were wrapped around his waist. One hand shot up, cradling her head as he lay them down in the grass, the weight of his body against hers, the slide of his skin against hers, her body trapped between the firm wall of his chest and the soft grass.
A groan rose between them as Anthony's hips rocked towards her, joining them together. Kate let out a desperate gasp, her fingers pushing Anthony's hair back from his eyes. There was a muscle clenching in his jaw as his hips rolled towards hers, rocking them together gently as though he was holding himself back, just as he always did at the beginning, and she loved him for it. Loved the slow dismantling of his self control as though he couldn't remember how to be himself, how to do anything when they were like this, desperate for more, desperate for her.
It was heady, looking at Anthony like this, desperate moans and gasps of her name falling from his lips, every muscle in his body coiled tight, powerful and strong above her as his rough hands roamed over her soft skin, tugging and pulling as she encouraged him against her.
It feels so good, Anthony. So good, I know you can give me more
The feel of his skin against hers, the smell of sweat that clung to his skin from the hard day's work he'd done to provide for her, it was all overwhelming as his eyes fluttered closed, fighting and fighting to regain control, and he couldn't. Another growl fell from his chest as his hips snapped towards her, her own hips rocking up to meet him as they hurtled towards the end, the heat in her stomach climbing higher and higher, pushing and ebbing and flowing between them until everything shattered.
Her fingernails cut into his skin as she clutched him to her chest, her vision blurring at the edges. Anthony's hips stuttered against her, once twice three times, his shoulders heaving.
Kate!
And everything went still as he collapsed against her.
"I love you." Anthony was still breathless as his lips brushed her neck messily, clinging desperately to her as he always did in these moments after. Content and happy, and satisfied. "I have no idea what I ever did to deserve you, but for the rest of my life I'll be glad I did it."
A stupid giggle fell from her lips as she kissed the top of his head, taking in the smell of him. "In all honestly, my head was turned by the way your muscles moved when you unloaded your cart."
And she'd remember Anthony's beautiful laughter for the rest of her life.
So no. Kate truly shouldn't have been surprised when she sat in her mother in law's kitchen with nausea rolling over her, stiflingly hot for autumn, struggling for words as she fanned herself.
"I'm sorry, Violet, I've been feeling rather unwell these last few days, perhaps my cooking truly has finally been the downfall of me."
And her mother in law took one look at her and sighed, "Kate, darling, when was the last time you had your courses?"
Kate had frowned, thinking back, her mind turning before "You don't think I could be-?"
Violet chuckled, "Why? From the grass stains I've seen you trying to get out of your clothing I'm not sure anyone could call your marriage chaste, my dear."
And perhaps she shouldn't have, but Kate couldn't help but feel a little smug. "No. Not particularly."
