i may give up on my 'a phantom among us' comic

this has been a long time coming post. if you follow the comic you'll notice it's been over a month now i think since the last update, and the last few updates have had weeks between them.

when i started the comic it was meant to be this silly quick idea and i wrote the entire script for it. and then people started reading it and i suddenly felt this pressure that it had to be a proper story, more serious, because if not everyone would be disappointed. and so i added things to the plot and i've been needing to now add extra scenes into the script and i just... haven't.

and i've needed to do this for months and i just keep not doing it because working on the comic feels like some horrible chore. i don't like working on it. and so the simple answer is: then don't. it's meant to be for fun and if it's not fun anymore then stop. but then i think about the people who comment on every one of my updates on webtoon and i feel so horribly sick with guilt that they've invested time into something that might be abandoned.

but it's time i could spend on my other original projects that i care more about. but won't it look terrible if people find it and see it was never finished? wont' that look bad on me? and i should for once finish some project i come up with, do you know how many comic and animatic ideas i've had, even storyboarded out, and then never made?

i just... don't know what to do

A little late again... Honestly I've been having such a hard time drawing this comic that I actively dread having to draw another page and I'm sort of hating doing it. But I don't want to give up on something, especially for those of you who read this and comment on each update. I just need to figure out how to make this better. Possibly might go on a short hiatus in the next few weeks to rewrite. I've done it as a 2 parter because I realised it was a lot longer than my aim for pages per episode, which is 4-6 pages because that's about what I can get done in a day and I have other work to do and can't devote more than 2 days a week to working on this comic.
