the thing i haven’t seen anyone talk about is how different pirate!sunshipdou’s skins are to the rest of the guqqieverse

(everything is under the cut if you want to read it)

so lets take guqqie’s area unknown skin and then compare that to her pirates skin. The eyes are off, the hair is different style, even the skin tone is slightly different.

while yes, this may be explained out of universe as POW just wanting their skins to fit with the style of pirates smp and not fully caring about the guqqieverse because they are just a cameo (glances at aimsey showing up in a scott stream)

but i beg to differ, i beg to ignore the more realistic and probably true out of universe explanation and instead go on this wild goose chase for the fun of it.

okay so it was basically outright said in Recollection that arg!guqqie goes to every universe and replaces the guqqie there with a clone of herself and that why they all look the same then why doesn’t p!guqqie look like the rest?

my basically crack theory is that arg!guqqie is too busy with au!sunshipduo to do anything about p!sunshipduo.

arg!guqqie has been too focused on screwing over area unknown to give a shit about some pirate people because as we know, au!sunshipduo is the first time arg!guqqie’s plans failed

and we can infer that shes a perfectionist so of course she cant let her failure just sit there, she needs to separate them and watch as au!aimsey struggles with guilt and not knowing if they caused it while guqqie…well guqqie is making wine and becoming an alcoholic (each has their own way to cope ig)

and oh when she gets to pirates, their guqqie is dead and everyone knows it while p!aimsey is…undead??? either way they suffer so arg!guqqie just goes “eh, they died either way” and moves back to giving au!sunshipduo more trauma
