How about some headcanons where Sylvain Felix and Dimitri are feeling shy around a female reader?
aaaaa three of my fav boys💖 the hcs are a bit short so i did some drabbles with them. thank you for your patience, i hope you like them! i did a gn!reader since there was nothing in the scenarios that would specify them as a fem!reader.
cw: gn!reader, sfw
sylvain
i can't really imagine sylvain getting shy around anyone lol
but he will get flustered around you if he truly likes you (and isn’t just physically attracted to you)
if you compliment him he'll be a bit thrown off but will quickly recover and compliment you back/flirt back with you
rather than getting shy, he gets nervous and tries to hide it shows this by being overly enthusiastic
((think his s-support scene with byleth where he says he’ll go blind if he doesn’t want him to look at other girls))
sometimes it can be too much but you know he means well
“I love your hair.” Sylvain paused at your words, leaving you to walk forward without him. You turned around in confusion to see him standing still for a moment before catching up with you. He tried to play off his reaction but you could tell he was flustered.
“I love your hair and your eyes and your outfit and your-” You cut him off with a laugh that caused him to smile sheepishly.
“Ok I get it!”
felix
it’s hard to tell when he’s shy around you since he can be very stand offish to begin with
he won’t make an effort to speak to you if he can avoid it
if he sees you, he may go as far as to turn the other way or hide at the training grounds or in his room
he’ll ignore you but you catch him very obviously staring at you a lot before he “casually” turns around like nothing happened
For once, Felix wasn’t focusing on his training. He should have been practicing the new move he learned from Byleth before the next battle but how could he when you were mere feet from him, practicing magic? Despite the fact that you two had only had a handful of conversations, he was smitten and seeing your body move and your eyes narrow in concentration as you cast spells certainly didn’t help. His brown eyes burned holes into your back. Knowing he was watching you so intensely made you so nervous your spell completely missed the target. You instinctively turned around to see if he saw the embarrassing moment but as soon as your eyes met his, he was suddenly very interested in his sword.
dimitri
dima is painfully shy around you
he really can’t hide it if he wanted too lmao
he'll be a bit awkward around you but it’s endearing
as much as he wants to talk to you and get to know you, he becomes too timid to try
so he ends up talking about mundane topics like the weather
save yourself the pain and lead the conversation/take charge please
Dimitri silently pleaded with the rest of the war council to stay in the room so he wouldn’t have to be alone with you. It wasn’t that he didn’t like you; it was actually the complete opposite. He liked you so much that he seemed to forget how to act and every potentially interesting conversation topic exited his mind until he was only left with subjects like the weather or what the dining hall was serving. Sylvain was the last to leave the room, throwing the blonde a wink and knowing smile over his shoulder as he walked out.  Finally it was just the two of you alone in the meeting room. You shot him a grin and he returned it with a strained tight lipped smile.
“I hear they’re serving onion gratin soup today.” He fought the urge to cringe at his own awkwardness. It was an extremely lame attempt at small talk but judging your interested expression, you didn’t mind. You answered him by lacing your fingers with his and you leading him out the door. Pink dusted his cheeks and his eyes were wide at the sudden contact and forwardness, especially when you finally spoke.
“Why don’t we go eat together?”

If requests are still open can I please have male or gn reader with Marco (op) please? Maybe they go on a coffee date because its been a long day for reader and their stressed. Thank you <3<3
♥  pairing: marco x gn!reader (no pronouns specified)
♡ genre: COMFORT
♥ warnings/info: just some nice fluff for the ceo of marco
♡♥♡
Just the sight of him, seated at a table tucked in the corner of the coffeeshop, calmed you down. It seemed like everything that could go wrong did go wrong today; you slept through your alarm, had to skip breakfast, and completely missed an important appointment due to how late you were. You barely had time to breathe with the constant chaos but luckily, Marco was there for you. The only thing working in your favor today was him getting off work early.
You two agreed to meet at a little cafe close to your shared apartment. Cozy was the perfect word to describe the coffee shop; dim lighting with quiet jazz playing in the background, the calm background noise of the quiet conversations of the patrons. The couches were laden with fluffy pillows of all designs and colors, giving the cafe a charming and unique aesthetic. Small tables and chairs were scattered across the room and seated at one of them was your partner.
He smiled at you from his seat, one steaming cup of coffee in front of him and another beverage in his raised hand. Your heart melted at the gesture and you walked over to the table and sat down across from him. Before even greeting you, he held his hand out on the table. You placed yours in it and you relaxed at the gentle rubbing of his thumb across the back of it.
“Rough day?” Forgoing a verbal response due to your exhaustion, you nodded. He found the slight pout on your face adorable though he wished it was there due to better circumstances. It was obvious he was right; one look at your hunched shoulders and furrowed brows told him.
“Tell me about it yoi.” Every frustration, no matter how small, poured from your lips before you could think twice. Tension melted from your body from venting and your mood lifted little by little with every nod of his head or small interjection from him. Expressions flashed across his face as he listened to your words; soft eyes, sympathetic smiles and the slight downturn of his lips let you know you had his full attention. Throughout your rant his thumb continued to stroke your hand and gave supporting squeezes when you looked overwhelmed or were getting too worked up.
You got everything out of your system in a few minutes, feeling lighter than you hand when you first entered the building. The lull in conversation allowed you to bask in the serene atmosphere and you even closed your eyes for a moment to take it all in. When you opened them again, you were met with Marco staring at you. Your bad day was all but forgotten when you saw his adoring gaze.

Can I have some fluff with Flirty!Ace pls?
Thanks :3
♥  pairing: ace x gn!reader (they/them pronouns)
♡ description: FLUFF
♥ warnings/info: flirty ace, reader is a wbp, izo is there because i love him bye.
♥ ♡ ♥
Ironically, your division captain wasn’t the first Whitebeard Pirate to greet you. Ace, a man with sunkissed skin, freckles and a charming smile that had you flustered, introduced himself as soon as you stepped onto the Moby Dick.
You didn’t notice him at first, too busy focusing on not dropping all of your belongings that had to be moved onto the ship. Not only was it a lot but you had no clue where to bring it. Luckily he was there. He seemed to appear out of thin air to catch the bag that was falling off your shoulder, placing it on his own. He didn’t have to introduce himself, of course you knew who he was; who didn’t know Fire Fist Ace?
“I’m Ace, nice to meet you.” He shifted the bag higher up on his shoulder. This left one of your hands free and allowed him to gently grasp it in a handshake. His politeness caught you off guard; you never would’ve guessed a pirate, let alone him, had such good manners. You smiled at him and told him your name.
“So where are we putting these?” His kindness was shocking too. Pirates weren’t inherently mean but many didn’t go out of their way to help others. Sure you were now on the same crew but pirates were also notorious for being colder to rookies. You barely even knew this man and he was already willing to help you. You opened your mouth to answer then shut it, your cheeks heating up in embarrassment at the realization that you didn’t know.
“Uh…” You trailed off. He just grinned at you.
“Not sure?” You nodded sheepishly and mumbled an apology.
“No worries, we’ll figure it out. What division are you in?” You told him and he pouted cutely.
“You’re in Izo’s, not mine. I would’ve loved to have you with me.” His smirk hinted at something more than friendliness but you didn’t want to assume anything. Maybe he was just really nice. You two talked the entire way to your room where he finally placed your stuff down. He offered to help you unpack but you declined, already feeling like you burdened him enough despite the fact that he assured you you hadn’t.
“Well I’ll see you around.” His hand grazed your shoulder as he left you alone, hoping you weren’t imagining things.
Ace seemed to pop up everywhere you were; whether it be the dining hall when you were on dish duty or the supply room where you had to fetch something or like now, the deck where you were told to mop. They seemed like menial tasks but you knew you had to work your way up. Luckily you knew better than to let him distract you, talking to him as you did your task. But he made it so hard to focus when he was constantly showering you with compliments, sliding in little remarks that had you trying to hide a bashful smile. You nearly slipped on the wet floor when you heard your commander’s voice from behind you.
“If you could stop flirting with my division member that’d be great.” Izo looked unimpressed, his arms folded and a slight frown on his face. Without an ounce of shame, Ace laughed but kept his eyes on you.
“I can’t help it, they’re just so beautiful.” The longer you were part of the crew, the more bold his flirting had become. The older man rolled his eyes, sick of his crewmate constantly hovering around you.
“Appreciate their beauty when they’re not in the middle of a task.” He spoke with an air of finality that left no room for argument. Even the ever stubborn Ace didn’t bother to fight back. Rather than his usual goodbye, he kissed your cheek.
“I’ll see you later.” You watched his retreating figure, hand covering your burning cheek where his lips had been.

hat
♥  pairing: gn!reader x luffy
♡ description: FLUFF; Your child need Luffy’s hat more than he did.
♥ warnings/info: thought of luffy putting his hat on his kid when they get scared and wrote this in like five minutes
♥   ♡   ♥
“Baby there’s a reason Daddy can’t swim, you’ll be fine!” You and Luffy had spent at least ten minutes trying to convince your child they would be okay in the water. They said they wanted to learn to swim yet refused to go in the water. Every time you tried to back down and say they didn’t have to learn today, they stubbornly insisted and the cycle began again. You chalked it up to simple kid logic. No matter what you told them though, they didn’t take it to heart.
“But Daddy can do anything! So if he can’t swim then the sea is bad and I’m not going in it!” Luffy grinned widely at the praises but quickly stifled it when he saw your glare. Maybe he shouldn’t have told them all about his adventures and the strong enemies he defeated. You held the child tightly in your arms as the sun beat down on all of you on the deck of the Sunny.
“Daddy ate the Gum Gum Fruit, that's why he can’t swim. And that’s why he’s all stretchy too.” He pulled his cheeks out into a silly face, his tongue sticking out. Your little one couldn’t help but giggle and pull his skin even farther. It definitely hurt a bit but Luffy allowed it since it made them happy. It seems they were finally calming down. “How about we go in with you?”
Your child looked between the two of you before slowly nodding. You all exited the ship and stood on the beach of the island you docked at. With one hand in Luffy’s and the other in your’s, your child approached the ocean cautiously. You both made sure to praise their bravery. When the tide came in and the water washed over their feet, they squealed and clung to your leg. You stroked the top of their head.
“You’re okay baby. We’re right here.” They became less tense at your words. Luffy took his hand out of your child's, causing them to look at him, panic written all over their face. Before they could protest, he gently placed his straw hat atop the child’s head, just like Shanks had done all those years ago to him.

♥  pairing: luffy x gn!reader (no pronouns)
♡ description: FLUFF; Surely there was no way the little figure in front of you was the infamous Straw Hat Luffy, the fearsome pirate who had taken down some of the strongest enemies on the seas.
♡  warnings/info: request for @cutelittleriot for taking care of post-gear third luffy. this was such a cute idea :’)
♥   ♡   ♥
He was so cute. Surely there was no way the little one in front of you was the infamous Straw Hat Luffy, the fearsome pirate who had taken down some of the strongest enemies on the seas.
Your crew knew the effect of using Gear Third but you had never actually witnessed it. He looked up at you, displeased to be stuck in his new form. A long whine left his pouting lips.
“This sucks.” His blunt statement made you laugh.
“It’s only for a few minutes. You’ll be back to normal soon.” The frustrated look didn’t leave his face. You had to pull out the big guns.
“I’ll take you back to the ship.” You crouched down with your arms slightly open. You could sense his hesitance. “If you let me carry you, we’ll get there sooner. I’m sure dinner is almost ready and Sanji is making meat.”
Normally he’d stubbornly refuse to accept your help but he was already exhausted from pushing his body so hard he only hesitated for a moment before walking towards you. Plus he was never one to refuse your embrace or food. You held him against your torso, arms securely around his tiny frame and his hands rested over your wrists. It felt odd to feel you like this since he was usually the one holding you but it certainly wasn’t unpleasant. It definitely would’ve been better if he was his usual size and not so worn out. Since there was no danger, his fatigue took over. He wanted to stay awake but his body wouldn’t let him. Finally he gave in to his drooping eyes and fell asleep in your arms.
You looked down at the sound of his snoring and smiled. Just when you thought he couldn’t get any cuter. You adjusted your hold so his head was resting on your shoulder allowing you to stroke his back. Even in his sleep he couldn’t resist holding you; his tiny arms stretched to wrap around your shoulders, his weakened ability just barely enough to reach.  The rest of the trek back to the Sunny was spent listening to his steady breathing and mumbling about meat in his sleep.

♥  pairing: sabo x gn!reader, no pronouns
♡ description: FLUFF; Sabo was incredibly close to ripping his hair out. Your obliviousness was simultaneously endearing and infuriating. At this point he wasn’t even sure if grabbing you by the shoulders and screaming that he was in love with you at the top of his lungs was enough for you to understand his feelings.
♡ warnings/info: fluff for sabo’s birthday! request for @eternalreverie-sabostan My Beloved
♥   ♡   ♥
“What about new gloves or something?” It felt like you had been suggesting birthday gifts for hours but Sabo had shot every single one of them down.
“Don’t need them. All I really want is to spend my birthday with you.” He thought for sure you’d pick up on what he meant but you stayed unaware.
As usual. He thought bitterly.
“We can go to a restaurant on the island we’re going to dock at and have dinner there.” There were still a few days left before his birthday but you wanted to make sure you were prepared. If he wouldn’t accept a gift then you would make sure he had the best birthday possible. “Maybe we can find a nice ramen place. Ooh maybe there will be a cafe so we can get cake! Or a bakery. We can get some bread too for dinner the next night and-”
Sabo tuned out your rambling as he stared at you with hearts in his eyes. He was touched that you remembered his favorite food. Your thoughtfulness was just one of the reasons he fell in love with you months ago; in his opinion, it was hard not to. If there was one thing he wanted for his birthday, it was for you to finally understand how he felt.
“You got me flowers? But it’s your birthday!” Sabo was incredibly close to ripping his hair out. Your obliviousness was simultaneously endearing and infuriating. At this point he wasn’t even sure if grabbing you by the shoulders and screaming that he was in love with you at the top of his lungs was enough for you to understand his feelings. But any anger or frustration he felt was quelled when he saw the smile on your face as you brought the roses up to your nose, inhaling their scent. You had mentioned you loved the smell of fresh roses before, a small comment in passing that he stored in his memory for a moment like this. He had woken up early to search the island you had docked at to find a bouquet. It had taken a while to find a florist but he managed to find a bouquet he believed was good enough to give to you. The velvety petals of the roses were a vibrant red and the delicate floral scent they gave off was enticing. He knew you would love them so the price tag was worth it.
“Let me put these in my room and we can go.” He grabbed your elbow as you turned to leave, making you face him.
“Wait.” He muttered, taking a flower out of the bouquet and snapping part of the stem off. Your confusion only grew as he tucked it behind your ear, letting his gloved fingers linger on your face. “Beautiful.” His voice was barely audible. You were so stunned you didn’t know what to say.
“Please tell me you understand what I’m trying to convey right now.” You could hear the desperation in his voice. A small part of your brain hoped you understood correctly; that he was as head over heels for you as you were for him. However, the larger, more cynical part of your brain squashed that wishful thinking.
“You thought the flower would look nice in my hair…?” It was official, Sabo was going to lose it. His awful habit of acting recklessly and letting his emotions motivate him couldn’t be suppressed anymore. He gripped your shoulders and moved his face closer to yours.
“I LOVE YOU! NOT AS A FRIEND! I’M ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH YOU AND APPARENTLY NOTHING I DID HAS HINTED AT THAT!” His eyes didn’t stray from yours for a second and you knew he meant every word. Memories of all the hints he dropped the last few months replayed in your head; all the times he gave you little presents just because, the favors he did without needing to be asked, every instance of him putting in the extra effort to show his affection that you had foolishly misinterpreted.
“Sabo…” The trailing off of your voice made his shoulders sag in defeat. Maybe you weren’t oblivious to his feelings; maybe you were ignoring them so you could avoid rejecting him. Maybe you did it to try and spare his feelings and save his pride. “I didn’t know you felt that way.” The revelation was so shocking you were at a loss for words. It was like your brain stopped working and any ability to express yourself vanished.
“If you don’t feel the same way that’s fine but I just needed you to know. I’ve been trying to show you for months but that clearly didn’t work.” There was an awkward pause as his statement hung in the air. Finally you broke it with the sound of your hand smacking your forehead.
“I’m so stupid!” You scolded yourself, giggling at the end. Now he was confused.
“Wha-”
“I’m in love with you too! I didn’t want to read into everything too much because I was scared you didn’t feel the same.” The look on his face was absolutely priceless; frustration giving way to jaw dropping shock and wide eyes. You couldn’t help but laugh at his expense a bit. He groaned and put his head on your shoulder as he wrapped his arms around you.
“I can’t believe this.” You nodded, something he felt rather than saw, in agreement. His laughter was muffled against your body. It seems you weren’t the only dense one.

♥  pairing: sanji x gn!reader
♡ description: FLUFF AND SMUT (NSFW IS UNDER THE CUT); You weren’t a chef by any means but Sanji loved your food anyway.
♥  warnings/info: the fluff is corny as fuck i’m sorry, sanji’s corny as fuck sometimes though so it’s okay, pretty short for once, no actual sex but implied 69, no genitalia or pronouns specified for the reader
♥   ♡   ♥
“I know it’s not as good as the ones you make-“ Tears brimmed his eyes as he looked at the cake on the table.
“I love it.” He answered immediately.
“You haven’t even tasted it yet.”
“The fact that you made it means it’s delicious because I know you made it with love Y/N-swan.” He picked you up and spun you around, causing you to squeal. Your initial shock melted into bliss and you couldn’t help but giggle into his neck. Finally he put you down but kept his arms around you.
“Seriously though, thank you.” He spoke in a much more serious and quieter voice. It wasn’t easy for Sanji to accept things like this, even from someone he loved. You kissed him once, twice and went to pull away when he guided you back for a third one that lasted much longer. “I love you.” You told him you loved him back and basked in his embrace for a moment in companionable silence until he broke it.
“Never kick me out of the kitchen again, it was so hard being away from you my love.” He gave you pecks over your entire face, making sure to emphasize the smacking sound. You laughed again and tried to wriggle your way out of his grip.
“Sanji, it was only an hour!”
♥ NSFW BEGINS HERE ♥
Minutes after he swallowed his last bite and put his fork down, you were pouting as he shifted your body so you were hovering above his face.
“Sanji,” You dragged out the last syllable in a whine. “I’m supposed to be treating you on your birthday.” It had barely been seconds since your knees hit the floor before he hauled you up, smashing his lips against yours in a heated kiss before you could protest. His strength was no match for you as he moved you like you weighed nothing so you were on top of him with your head facing his cock and your hole over his face. You couldn’t see it but he was smiling dreamily as he took in the sight just inches from him.
“Trust me love, this is definitely a treat for me.”

♥  pairing: sanji x gn!reader
♡ description: ANGST/FLUFF; Sanji teaching you to cook meant more to you than he knew.
♥  warnings/info: near-death experiences, sanji teaches you how to cook, this turned out way angstier than i intended oop, written for my liege
♥   ♡   ♥
His brows raised at your request.
“You want to learn how to cook?” He asked, delicately shaking the ashes off the end of his cigarette.
“Not that your cooking isn’t good, it’s amazing and I love every dish you make and I’d never try to replace you as the ship’s cook but I think it’d be good to know how to cook in case-” Something happened to you. The thought filled you with dread but his delighted laugh cut you off. He didn’t seem to realize what you were going to say.
“Of course I’ll teach you. We can make something right now if you’re ready.” He walked around the kitchen, gathering exactly what ingredients he needed for the recipe. Originally he was going to cook something more complicated but he changed it so you would be able to handle it. You watched him as you washed your hands and put on an apron. When he noticed you had put the cloth over your head, he put the fresh vegetables in his hands on the counter and rushed over to you.
“Let me.” He whispered softly in your ear as he tied the apron. Before he separated from you he planted a kiss on the back of your neck and turned you around. You could practically see the hearts in his eyes; the immense amount of love he had for you shown in such a simple gaze. You couldn’t fight the urge to smile at him. You two stayed like that for another moment before you broke out of your trance.
“Let’s get started.”
You expected to struggle with cooking the dish but Sanji made it easy. Not that cooking was easy; you’d watched him in the kitchen enough to know how difficult it truly was, but the dish was fairly simple and he was the best person to learn from. He patiently explained everything step by step and showed you exactly what you needed to do. Whenever you messed up, he praised your efforts before quickly fixing it. You two enjoyed the companionable silence before he spoke up while stirring the sauce that was simmering on the stove top.
“So what made you want to learn how to cook? Not that I’m complaining, I love that you want to, especially together but you’ve never expressed interest in it and I’m curious.” The question made you stop chopping the pepper in front of you as you purse your lips.
You had two reasons for wanting to learn how to cook. The first was one that brought tears to your eyes; you had to be prepared if he did die. It was the harsh reality of the pirate lifestyle: the crew wouldn’t survive long without a proper chef. Half the crew was useless in the kitchen and the ones who weren’t had other jobs that were too important to give up. That meant unfortunately you had to be ready for the worst case scenario. You didn’t realize this until the last battle the crew had fought.
The fight left Sanji unconscious and left you at his bedside praying for whatever higher power was out there, if there even was one, to heal him. The enemy’s Devil Fruit power was infamous for sapping its victim’s energy, causing them to be out of commission for as long as a month, if they even managed to survive. It was also notorious for claiming countless victims; once powerful fighters dropped like flies if they were hit from an attack at full power. You weren’t sure how powerful a hit Sanji took but apparently it wasn’t as strong as you feared it was because Chopper assured you he’d be fine in a few days.
What struck you the most is he took the hit for you.
He practically spent hours a day telling you how much he loved you through his sweet words and selfless actions. Guilt occasionally filled you at how much he did for you; no matter how small the burden, he was willing to bear it for you with a smile on his face. This was on a new level. He risked his life without a second thought for you and you felt sick at the thought of a life without him. No more waking up next to him or feeling his lips on yours or tasting his amazing food, full of the best ingredients and love for you. You spent most of the time at his bedside holding his hand while crying.
The second reason was he needed the love he so selflessly gave to be given back. His actions weren’t just limited to you; he went above and beyond for everyone (although he somehow managed to surpass that when it came to you and women). It seemed like he didn’t know how to be selfish; everything he did was to ensure the happiness of others. His heart was so big and he had so much love to give and you wanted to make sure he knew he deserved as much in return. If you knew how to cook that was one burden you could shoulder for him. Plus he deserved to be taken care of. It took a moment to collect your thoughts, trying to figure out how to put them into words.
“I just… want you to know you’re loved.” He began to ask what you meant when you cut him off. “You do so much for everyone, so much for me, and sometimes it feels like I can’t give you much in return. Especially after what happened in the last battle…” You trail off as several scenes flood your mind: the light of incoming attack, his body seemingly appearing out of nowhere to shield you, his anguished scream as he was hit, his bandaged body on the bed in Chopper’s office. Before you could stop yourself you started to cry. “What if something happens to you? You survived this time but what if the next time is different?”
Within seconds he had walked over to you and turned your body so he could hold you. One hand soothingly stroked your back while the other cradled your head as you sobbed. Tears soaked his shirt but that didn’t matter. Your arms wrapped around him tightly, as if you were scared your words would come true.
“Don’t ever think for a second I don’t feel loved by you. I haven’t been loved most of my life,” The statement made you cry even harder. “But you always manage to make me feel like I’m worthy of it and that the love I give you is returned tenfold. Every day I wake up and think about how lucky I am to have someone who loves me as much as you do.” You felt the top of your head begin to dampen and you realized you weren’t the only one crying. Sanji’s past was something he didn’t like to talk about but you knew enough to know the lack of love left a lasting impact on him.
“And don’t worry. I’m not dying anytime soon.” He pulled back and looked at you with the same love-struck expression he always did; the one that made you feel like you were a star in the sky.
“If I’m gone, who's going to cook for you?”

thick thighs save lives
♥  pairing: ace x gn!reader
♡ description: FLUFF; To say Ace loved your thighs would be an understatement.
♥ warnings/info: non-sexual body worship, cute domestic shit, modern!au, cliche title and not beta’d because i’m lazy
♥ ♡ ♥
To say Ace loved your thighs would be an understatement.
He would take any opportunity he could to touch them. Sitting next to you in the car, he insisted on having his hand on them; one on the steering wheel and the other on the plush thigh he loved so much. Periodically he’d rub and squeeze the flesh; not always in a sexual way, sometimes just appreciating your body.
His handsy behavior wasn’t limited to the car. Whether you two were in public or private made no difference for him. A hand on your thigh was necessary at all times.
Laying his head on your lap and feeling the soft flesh give to the weight of his head was the best way to comfort him. He constantly told you they were his favorite pillow, always making him able to calm him down within minutes especially when you played with his hair. Every problem seemed to disappear when he was so close to you.
His favorite way to indulge in his obsession had to be how you two were presently; his head resting between your thighs as he watched you play a video game. Sometimes it was a movie or a show, but for moments like right now it was a game. You were exploring in Breath of the Wild; no real goal in mind or quest you wanted to complete, just wandering around Hyrule and taking in the beautiful open world. Other than the occasional monster or sneak attack from the Yiga Clan, it was the perfect way to relax. The companionable silence accompanied by the soft music of the game.
Every once in awhile, one of you would make an offhand comment about the game but the rest of your time was spent just enjoying each other's presence. But of course he could never resist your thighs. Periodically he’d turn his head slightly to place light kisses on them, never more than a lingering touch and certainly not enough to imply he wanted to take things further. He couldn’t fight the urge to wrap his arms around your thighs and caress the smooth skin. And with the way you felt so worshiped, you certainly didn’t mind.

marry you
♥  pairing: mista x gn!reader (no pronouns used)
♡ description: FLUFF (SOME ANGST); Mista proposes three times in the most Mista way imaginable.
♥ warnings/info: mentions of death and suicide (none actually occur), everyone lives because real hotties ignore canon. cringe warning i guess lmao it’s really fluffy.
♥ ♡ ♥
“When this is over, I’m gonna marry you.” Mista said it nonchalantly as he twirled his spaghetti with a fork.
You nearly spit out your wine, earning a concerned look from Fugo. The rest of the gang were too engrossed in discussing the next mission. You knew it’d be more dangerous than your previous ones; you were escorting the Don’s daughter after all.  After assuring him you were fine, you turned to your boyfriend. His smile stretched from ear to ear and his eyes were practically shut with how big his grin was. You felt yourself melting.
“Just like that? You’re not even going to ask me?” You smiled back at him as you dug back into your own dish.
“Do you want to marry me?” If you didn’t know what he was saying, you were assuming he was asking you to pass the salt; he made it sound like it was the most mundane question he could ask rather than proposing to spend the rest of your lives together. The idea wasn’t awful; in fact you loved the idea of buying a house, raising kids and growing old with him. You nodded.
“Cool. Then it’s settled.” The subject was dropped almost as quickly as it came up and in typical Mista fashion he was already onto the next topic. You could hardly follow his debate with Narancia about whether water is wet or not as thoughts of your future filled your head.
---
The second time he “proposed” was when you and the rest of the members, minus Fugo, were on the small motorboat. Trish still had yet to regain consciousness and she laid right by the motor. Abbacchio and Narancia had fallen asleep after the events of the day and Giorno looked about halfway to joining them, his eyes drooping and head nodding forward before shooting back up. Bruno looked tired too but refused to let his guard down, carefully steering the boat and calculating the gang’s next move. You and Mista were huddled together towards the front of the boat. Though you had stopped crying awhile ago, his arms remained wrapped around you and he kissed your forehead softly every few minutes.
“You’ll all be killed, without a doubt.”
Every time Fugo’s words replayed in your head, you felt your stomach lurch. The thought of losing any of your teammates was sickening but unfortunately not unlikely. Being a member of Passione was dangerous to begin with; any mission could be your last. But betraying the Don was basically suicide. Yet everyone stepped onto the boat willing to take the risk and follow Bucciarati to fight for what was right.
“I know it’s hard but try not to think about everything right now,” Mista said with his lips against your forehead, “Think about our wedding. I’ll even take my hat off for it, you know you love my hair. I’m telling you again, I’m gonna marry you.” You felt his lips form a smile but you couldn’t bring yourself to return it. You nodded in response, words failing you. Thoughts of your future with Mista were plagued with thoughts of you standing over his gravestone.
---
His third proposal was a bit too late. You fussed over your outfit again to occupy your mind and ease your nerves. In less than an hour you’d be Mista’s spouse. After everything you two had been through, both before and after betraying the organization, you could hardly believe your shared dream was about to become a reality. One member of your wedding party handed you a bouquet; white roses neatly held together with a ribbon of the same color. You thanked them and tried to steady your breathing.
You never took Mista as one to cry when he saw you walking down the aisle but tears sprung to his eyes when you stepped out of the venue. He always said he was an ugly crier and would surely laugh when he watched the video of your wedding but he couldn’t help it. The person he loved more than anything in the world was about to become his forever and he’d be forever yours too. You glanced to the side as you walked to find your gang members’ in the front pew watching you. Narancia waved as if you could wave back to him as he held his phone in the other hand, no doubt recording every single moment despite the fact that you hired a professional cameraperson. Bruno looked happy and a bit smug; he always knew this would happen when he first introduced you and Mista. He could tell by the way you two looked at each other when you shook hands and exchanged names that you’d end up together and he was thankful he was alive to see it. Giorno had the same serene smile he always did and you could practically feel the warmth radiating from it. The Pistols were settled in his breast pocket and he had to lightly pat them every so often to remind them to be quiet. Even Abbacchio wasn’t immune to the joy of the ceremony; he was smiling slightly and nodded at you as you passed. In all your wildest dreams, you never thought you would all be lucky enough to survive going up against Diavolo but here you all were. You quickly smiled at all of them in return and turned your attention back to your fiancé.
When you stopped in front of him, he couldn’t contain the wow that fell from his lips, earning a few laughs from your guests. He felt no shame about that, all he heard in that moment was your own quiet giggle and the sight of your eyes lighting up with pure joy. You nearly expressed your own amazement but held back. He looked incredible; black suit fitted perfectly to every inch of his body and the brown locks you loved so much were on full display.
The ceremony was nearing its end in what seemed like the blink of an eye. Your left ring finger was no longer bare and you’d have to start hyphenating your name from now on; all that was left was the kiss. He grabbed your waist, pulling you forward so eagerly you nearly fell but he held you tight and your lips met. Nothing could describe the pure joy you felt in that moment. Every single moment leading up to this point was worth it no matter how painful they were. You didn’t know who to thank for it; maybe it was some higher being out there or it could be Mista’s incredible luck that seemed to save him at every corner. Regardless of who or what was responsible you were happier than ever and it would only get better from here; you two were already talking about children. The kiss lasted far longer than necessary but you didn’t care. All the people in front of you faded away, leaving only you and your now husband in your own world. Finally both of you pulled back but continued to embrace each other. He smiled smugly and leaned in close to you, not that anyone would hear over the sound of their cheers.
“Like I said, I’m gonna marry you.”

take care
♥  pairing: ace x gn!reader (no pronouns used)
♡ description: FLUFF; You need Ace to take care of you when you’re drunk but he’s certainly not complaining.
♥ warnings/info: alcohol, ace taking care of reader when they’re drunk, inspired from the fact that i wander off every time i get drunk lmao, can you tell i’m down astronomically for this man
♥   ♡   ♥
In your defense, you didn’t intend to get drunk when your captain suggested you left the ship to explore the island you docked at.
You had only planned to walk around and enjoy the scenery, maybe buy some stuff that caught your eye at the marketplace or try some local cuisine; generally just savor the rare chance to be on dry land and get some personal space. You loved the Whitebeard pirates and the nurses you worked with but being at sea with them for most of your days sometimes wore on your nerves. You figured a drink at the tavern you passed on the main street would help ease some of your tension.
Whitebeard was more than happy to let you and the other nurses explore the islands you docked at, encouraging you to let loose. But he had one rule: anyone that wasn’t a pirate had to be accompanied by one. It made sense; you could patch up the pirates on your ship but you could never fight like them. You knew basic self defense (your captain ensured you learned) but you’d definitely lose in a fight against a Devil Fruit user. Which is how you ended up hanging off of Ace’s shoulder as you stumbled down the dark street.
The several drinks you had certainly helped you blow off some steam. Ace quickly caught you as you trip over your own two feet, pausing to steady you before walking again. You whined at the sight of the ship in the distance which caused him to laugh.
“Don’t wanna go back yet?” You sloppily shook your head. Your hair covered your face at the movement and he pushed it back with his fingers, his touch lingering on your face. If your face wasn’t hot from the alcohol then it certainly was now. “Then let’s keep walking around.”
He let you lead the way with a steady grip on you, only interfering with your path when you strayed too far from the side of the street. The light from the lanterns danced in the reflection of your eyes and it amused you to no end if the dazed smile on your face was anything to go by. Sometimes you’d stop and point something menial out; a firefly or a stray cat and Ace couldn’t help but smile at your enthusiasm. You were cute in general but he thought you were adorable when you were drunk.
“Let’s get you water and something to eat if we’re going to stay out. This way babe.” He lightly tugged your hand to guide you but you stood in place. When you snatched your hand out of his grasp, he turned to look at you and saw your hands were covering your face. In a panic he stepped back in front of you and tried to remove your hands. “What’s wrong?” Whatever you said was too muffled to understand. “What is it babe?” Finally you let your hands down but refused to look at him.
“You called me babe.” It felt stupid saying it outloud; you were a grown adult blushing like a schoolchild at the pet name but you blamed the alcohol. His surprise melted into relief at your reason and he couldn’t help but tease you.
“Did you like that?” You playfully swatted his shoulder.
“Obviously!” You walked ahead of him to avoid further embarrassment but he caught right up to you and scooped you up in his arms. You shrieked at first but then uncontrollably giggled at his playfulness. He laughed right along with you, dipping and spinning you around like there was music playing but the only sounds were the muted sounds of the city.

sticker
♥  pairing: ace x gn!reader
♡ description: FLUFF; You couldn’t help but fall for the man on the train with the “sticker.”
♥  warnings/info: tooth-rotting fluff, modern!au, you take care of a little kid, inspired by how we tell kids at my job that our tattoos are stickers because i think it’s cute.
♥   ♡   ♥
You couldn’t help but smile watching the little girl next to you. You were watching a friend’s daughter and took her to the city. Her eyes sparkled the entire day; she was at that age where all the stores and people and little aspects of the city amazed her. You held her hand tightly to keep her from running around the train car you just entered.
“Up!” She demanded. “Wanna see the window!” It was impossible for her to watch the buildings pass with everyone else sitting down so you appeased her and lifted her into your arms. Her little hands wrapped around your neck as she laid her head on your shoulder to take in the moving scenery. Even if she was excited, it was still a long day for a kid her age and she’d probably be knocked out within the next few stops. The train arrived at the next station and people exited the car quickly, not wanting to miss their stop. You absentmindedly stroked her back in hopes of lulling her to sleep before a voice interrupted you.
“Excuse me, would you like to sit down?” Your focus shifted to a man standing next to you. Firstly, you noticed he was very handsome. He had long black hair, soft black eyes, and freckles that covered his face like stars in the sky. What really caught your attention was the tattoo on his arm; the letters ASCE with an X over the S. It intrigued you; you had no clue what it could mean. You were so taken with his beauty you didn’t realize he was talking to you, gesturing to a newly open seat.
“Yes, if you don’t mind.” You took a moment to answer him. Careful not to move the child in your arms too much, you sat down with her on your lap and placed your bag in between your feet. “Thank you so much.” His eyes turned into crescents as he brightly smiled at you. For a second time you were in awe of him.
“Of course.” He adjusted his bag to hold onto the handrail above your seat. He made sure to give you two enough space to sit down even though the car was crowded. “She looks like she needs it.” Your eyes shifted to the girl in your arms who was blinking blearily, fighting to stay awake and see the buildings pass by like she wanted to. You couldn’t help but smile softly at her.
“Yeah it was a long day for her. She won’t admit it but I’m sure she’s glad to go home and take a nap.” A quiet nuh-uh was muffled by your shoulder causing you and the stranger to laugh. She lifted her head up to pout at the two of you when she noticed the tattoo on the man’s arm.
“What’s that?” Like most children, she didn’t understand the concept of boundaries and poked the inked skin on his arm. You immediately guided her hand back down to her side.
“C/N! That’s rude. You can’t touch people without asking, especially strangers.” Your scolding went over her head as she kept her eyes on the stranger’s tattoo. “I’m sorry.” You apologized for her behavior but the man only laughed.
“No worries! I have a little brother, he used to do the same thing.” He flashed you another dazzling smile at the mention of his brother before turning back to her. “It’s a sticker. It’s super strong though so it doesn’t come off. See?” He ran his finger over it and her mouth dropped at the sight of the undisturbed ink. She expected it to peel off but it stayed on his skin.
“I want a sticker like that!” She looked between the two of you expectantly, pointing at the ink. “Can I get one?”
“You have to be old to get one, sorry.” He looked genuinely apologetic as he explained it to her. She pouted again. A grumpy toddler being told news like that was sure to upset her so you ran your fingers through her hair to prevent a tantrum. She relaxed in your hold and only took a moment more before she fell asleep. You had quite a few stops to go before you reached your destination so you decided to strike up a conversation with the stranger.
“So how old is your brother?”
The PA system announced that your stop was next and you couldn’t help but frown. You didn’t want to stop talking to the man in front of you; he was kind, polite, funny and able to draw you in effortlessly. You two had been talking almost the entire ride.
“That’s our stop.” You told him with a slight pout. He smiled at how it almost looked like the little girl’s pout.
“Aw, mine’s the one after.” He told you, disappointment in his voice. There was a moment of silence while you stood up and put your bag on your back. “This is a bit forward but would you want to keep talking? I know we just met but-” The train gradually slowed down and you knew this would be goodbye if you didn’t act quickly. You pulled out your phone, opened a new contact and handed it to him.
“I definitely want to keep talking.” You told him as your cheeks heated up. After putting in his number, he gave your phone back. “I’ll see you around.” You looked at the screen and smiled. “Ace.”

unexpected
♥  pairing: ace x gn!reader (no pronouns used)
♡ description: FLUFF; Your plans for spending Valentine’s Day alone again are unexpectedly ruined but you’re not complaining.
♥ warnings/info: based on this hc request. brief mention of drinking. other than that it’s just soft valentine’s day fluff of my favorite boy.
♥ ♡ ♥
Ace hid himself behind the corner of the hall at the sound of your and Marco’s voices.
“You’ve never spent Valentine’s Day with anyone?! You’re lying.” He could hear the shock in the doctor’s voice and felt it himself. There’s no way someone like you could spend a holiday dedicated to love alone.
“Stop,” You whined, followed by what sounded like a playful smack and Marco’s laughter. “It sucks. I’d love to spend it with someone, it seems so nice.”
“Hopefully this year that changes but if not you know you’re always welcome to spend it with the crew.” This time you laughed.
“A night of drinking with a bunch of rowdy pirates when I want to be wined and dined? Let me get back to you on that.” You both let out one last chuckle and said your goodbyes before parting ways. Before you could catch him, Ace was already walking away, plotting.
—
“You’re actually wearing a shirt? Did you lose a bet?” Whitebeard couldn’t help but poke fun at Ace. The younger man narrowed his eyes in response.
“Very funny Pops, but no I’m just a little cold today.” He adjusted the sleeves of the button up shirt he was wearing.
“Oh yeah, it’s freezing on a tropical island and when you have a fire Devil Fruit ability.” Marco deadpanned, causing the other crew members around him to laugh. Ace’s eyes widened and he flushed at being caught. Rather than facing more of their teasing, he set off in search of you.
The last thing you expected when you opened your door was Ace standing there in a dress shirt, black slacks and dress shoes. Immediately you knew he had to have borrowed it from someone; you weren’t even sure if he owned a shirt with how often you saw his bare chest.  Most notably he was missing his signature orange hat, giving you a very rare, unblocked view of his hair. He looked incredible, not that he didn’t always look amazing but there was something about seeing him all dressed up that made you even more in awe of his beauty. You could tell he was self conscious. He kept alternating between fidgeting with his sleeves and wrapping his arms around his torso; it was ironic he was more self conscious when wearing a shirt than when he was topless.
“Um hi.” His voice was awkward, a far cry from his usual comfortable way of speaking to you.
“Hi Ace!” You attempted to hide how affected you were by his outfit and smiled at him, “You look nice. What’s the occasion?” Part of you was scared to hear his answer. If he was going to drink with the rest of the crew, this is the last thing he’d wear so there must’ve been another reason for. Your stomach turned at the thought of him having a date. Even though you were happy for your friend, it hurt to think of the man you had such strong feelings for going on a date with someone else.
“I have a date,” Your heart sank but you maintained your smile. “Hopefully.” Your brows furrowed and your head tilted slightly to the side.
“What do you mean?” His eyes shifted around the empty hallway before looking back to you.
“Can I come in?” Despite your confusion, you nodded and let him in. Rather than sitting on your bed next to you, he opted to stand a few feet away. The silence was nothing like the typical silences between you two; normally a lull in conversation was spent basking in each other’s company instead of the tense atmosphere you found yourself in now.
“You look really nice.” His eyes widened cutely before he smiled softly. He stayed silent and you could feel the nervousness radiating off of him.
“I’m jealous. I want to spend Valentine’s Day with someone for once.” You said lightheartedly with an exaggerated pout. It was a weak attempt at a joke but you had to do something to lighten up the mood. He shifted before taking a deep breath. Ace was impulsive by nature and confessing to you was no exception; he practically exploded after a moment.
“I don’t know exactly when it started, but I’ve liked you for a while. It’s cheesy but I’ve never connected with someone like this and somewhere along the line I ended up falling for you. I know this isn’t really my style,” He gestured to his outfit. “But you deserve to be treated like royalty on Valentine’s Day and that’s exactly what I want to do.” His eyes bore into yours; desperate for you to return his feelings.
To say you were stunned was an understatement. You didn’t expect Ace to show up so dressed up and you certainly didn’t expect him to pour his heart out like this. More than anything you didn’t expect him to reciprocate your feelings. You practically lunged at him and wrapped your arms around him.
“I feel the same way Ace.” Your confession was muffled by your face being buried in his shoulder but he heard you. His hands flew up to hold you and he let out a sigh of relief. When you two pull back he wastes no time cupping your face with his hands and bringing his lips to yours. They move urgently against each other, the desperation from months of pining for each other evident. You two kissed until you needed air and pulled back with heaving chests and dazed smiles.
“Looks like you do have a date tonight.”

lazy day
♥  pairing: nami x robin x gn!reader
♡ description: FLUFF; Chaotic pirate life was worth it when you had moments like these with your girlfriends.
♥ warnings/info: these bitches gay! good for them good for them. just lazy day cuddling with my girls. inspired by the fact that nami and robin canonically share a bed post timeskip and beta’d by the biggest nami simp i know.
It was rare that the crew was able to have a lazy day. It seemed like life as a Straw Hat was one adventure after another with barely any breaks between them. But you’d grown used to the constant chaos throughout your time with them. It was days like these that kept you sane.
Robin took care of business in the library while you prepared the hot water and tangerines you picked from Nami’s orchard. You were one of the few people she trusted to guard her beloved trees from Luffy and his insatiable appetite. She also cherished the hours spent talking with you while she took care of them, you leaning against one while she gardened. Sanji pestered you as soon as you walked into the kitchen, insisting on helping you but you wanted to do this yourself to truly show your appreciation for your girlfriend. Plus he was the last person you wanted to deal with on what was essentially your day off.
Robin caught up with you in the hallway leading to your shared quarters and greeted you with a soft smile and a kiss on the cheek. She was still getting used to being physically affectionate, especially initiating it. The idea of being loved wasn’t something she had much of in her life and she struggled to accept it now. Baby steps like this showed her progress though and it made you happy to see she was slowly accepting the love she deserved. She held a book in her hands. It was one she’d read to you and Nami a countless amount of times yet you never grew tired of it. The story itself wasn’t particularly amazing; it was a cliche tale but Robin’s soothing voice could make any book captivating.
Nami was already snuggled up in bed when you entered the room. The large bed you shared with the other two women on the ship seemed to engulf her as she waited for you and Robin. You knew the last battle took a lot out of her which made you two insist she relax while you two set everything up. You and Robin placed the book and tangerines on the bedside table and began to make tea at the counter next to the entrance. She passed you three teacups to fill with the hot water you got from the kitchen. Each already had a teabag in it; ginger for Robin, peach tea for Nami, and your favorite brew for yourself. Nami had put the tea bags in even though you told her to stay in bed and your heart fluttered at the small gesture. When the tea was finished steeping you two headed over to the bed.
The three of you drank your tea, enjoying the comfortable silence. “Finally.” the navigator exclaimed dramatically, a pout on her lips. As soon as the cups were safely on the bedside table she pulled you with Robin in between the two of you. You both laughed softly at her antics, knowing how cuddly she became when you were alone. It had taken her a while to accept affection too; in the beginning she’d flinch every time she was touched. But months later she was practically attached to you and Robin as soon as everyone else was gone. She passed Robin the book as you all settled in.
You couldn’t help but melt into the mattress. Robin held the book with two hands but used extras to stroke yours and Nami’s hair. The minute she began to read you felt all the stress and tension leave your body. You never felt more at peace than during these fleeting moments with your girlfriends, lost in your own little world with no worries or danger. You felt safe in their embrace. Turning your head to the side, Nami looked just as peaceful as you. She had a small smile on her lips as she hung on every word that came out of Robin’s mouth. Her eyes flitted to you and her smile grew. The way she lazily blinked at you reminded you of a cat and you couldn’t help but smile back.
It only took about fifteen minutes before your eyes began to droop closed. Staying awake when you were so comfortable was impossible; you were amazed you even made it this far. Another look to your left showed the redhead fast asleep on the other woman’s chest. Her mouth was slightly open and her chest lightly rose and fell. The sight of her so peaceful was reassuring. Nightmares of Arlong still plagued her and despite her insistence that she was fine you’d spent many sleepless nights with Robin being awoken by her screams, soothing her until she was brought back to reality. She didn’t say it but you knew moments like this meant the world to her, as did you and Robin.
“Go to sleep my love.” The brunette softly whispered when she felt your eyelashes fluttering against her skin. Her voice came out lazily like she was on the verge of falling asleep too. You nodded and took the book from her to put it back then cuddled back into her. She placed another delicate kiss on your forehead then Nami’s before she closed her eyes. You fell asleep to the sound of their rhythmic breathing and the warmth of their embrace.

♥  pairing: gn reader x ace
♡ description: FLUFF; If you won’t take care of yourself then he will.
♥ warnings/info: sick!reader, mentions of sex because ace is nasty, the fact that this wasn’t the first fic i posted on here feels wrong
“And what exactly do you think you’re doing?” The voice cut through the silence of the night and made you flinch a little. Despite your best efforts to sneak out of your room, Ace seemed to know what you were up to.
“Just wanted some fresh air. It’s supposed to help when you’re sick, you know.” It was a weak argument, certainly one he wouldn’t accept, but you figured it was worth a shot. The sound of the waves crashing were all that could be heard as you waited for his response. After a moment, he smirked.
“While that may be true, I seem to remember Marco giving you specific orders not to get out of bed.” He walked over to you, his hands behind his head. “Very interesting that you’re out here on the deck though.”
“I know what he said but like I told you, I needed fresh air.” At this point it felt like you were trying to convince yourself. You know what the doctor had told you; he lectured you for about ten minutes about getting bed rest, knowing how hard you found it to not be up and about. It seemed to fall on deaf ears as you now gripped the railing of the ship to help steady yourself as a wave of lightheadedness engulfed you. Ace immediately noticed and rushed to grab your waist. The smile was gone from his face, replaced by a concerned look.
“We’re going back inside. Now.” After going through all the trouble to sneak out, you weren’t ready to give in no matter how bad of an idea it was to stay out. But of course, Ace knew you better than anyone and could see you had an argument on the tip of your tongue. Rather than let you speak, he simply threw you over his shoulder and held you tightly to ensure you wouldn’t wriggle out of his grasp.
You halfheartedly pounded your fists on his back but he barely felt the impact due to your weakened state. “I don’t think Pops will be too happy to hear about you manhandling me.”
“Oh please, I’m sure the entire ship hears me manhandling you every night.” You didn’t have to see his face to know he was grinning smugly. “Plus Pops wants you to rest too, we all do. We hate seeing you so miserable. Especially me.” He mumbled the last part. You knew how hard it was for him to express his feelings and you appreciated the gesture. You lightly stroked his back to express your gratitude and silently let him know you cared about him too. Knowing he had your best interest at heart, you allowed your body to go limp.
“Can you at least carry me normally?” He laughed lightly and gently shifted your body until he was carrying you bridal style. Your lips gingerly brushed over his neck and your eyes shut. Your room was one of the farthest from the deck so you allowed yourself to rest as he carried you.
Once you finally reached your bedroom, he placed you down on the bed carefully. He climbed in after you and pulled the covers up. “What’re you doing Ace? You’re going to get sick!” He softly laughed and kissed your forehead.
“How else am I going to make sure you don’t escape again?” You leaned into his touch as he stroked your hair, watching your eyes slide shut. “Plus if I get sick you can take care of me. Though I’m not too sure you want to carry me.”

happily ever after
♥ pairing: nami x gn!reader
♡ description: FLUFF and a little angst; “What about your slipper?” You asked playfully. She laughed and leaned in for another kiss. “He can keep it. I have everything I want right here.” Her fingers intertwined with yours and you knew she wasn’t just talking about the money.
♥  warnings/info: for @onepiece-bingo (money and fairy tales), based on one of my favorite chapter cover images, vinsmoke family (minus sanji) are here and they suck. also thank you to @lawscorazon and @smoleeveewrites for beta-ing!!
Tumblr media
She looked incredible. Her long pink gown showing off her shoulders and that tattoo you loved so much, delicate hands covered by gloves and her red hair curled. If she was going to play the part of a princess, she needed a crown. Luckily the last heist you two pulled off landed you the golden tiara that you placed atop her head. You then glanced over the rows of shoes in her walk-in closet, trying to choose a good pair for tonight as she sat on one of the plush chairs. Reaching up, you grabbed the glass slippers on the top shelf and held them up to her. She gave her approval with a nod and held out one of her feet. You playfully rolled your eyes and got on one knee to slip on the shoes for her. You kissed her hand before guiding her to stand up with you. She thanked you with an overdramatic curtsey before taking your arm to escort her to the carriage. You were almost jealous of your target. It must’ve shown on your face as you sat next to her in the pumpkin Nami blackmailed a fairy into transforming. Your girlfriend playfully poked your cheek.
“Stop pouting. If it makes you feel better I’d much rather be at the ball with you tonight than Prince Yonji.”
Her gloved hand stroked your face as she smiled at you. Even after all these years your heart skipped a beat at her affection. You felt the bump of her promise ring under the fabric and placed a kiss on it, this time making her the flustered one. Going over the plan one more time, you set off on your journey.
Prince Yonji was holding a ball to find a wife. Nami was to infiltrate the gala, sneak into the treasure room, and carry as much as she could with the help of the mice you enlisted. It seemed simple enough but it wasn’t going to be easy by a longshot. You had gathered intel over the months about security blindspots and secret passages but there was always the possibility the information was wrong. Plus any of you could get caught; your mind raced at the thought of everything that could go wrong.  Your stomach churned at the thought of what would happen if you were caught. The Vinsmokes were notorious for their brutality and their path to the throne was stained with blood.
Luckily the palace wasn’t far and you were pulled out of your worried thoughts as the carriage came to a halt. A beautifully cared for garden made way to the big gray palace, accented with dreary black turrets. It would have been a beautiful building had it not been for the black and blue flag that sat atop one of the towers, a symbol of evil. The statues of King Judge and his four children were eyesores on the front lawn and you couldn’t help but sneer at them.
The ball had begun about an hour ago but some people were still trickling in, giving her the perfect cover to enter. Now that it was time to execute the plan, your nerves set in. This was by far your biggest job yet and while you had complete faith in Nami, the thought of anything happening to her terrified you; you two had been through so much together and losing her would destroy you. Reluctantly you gave her one final kiss, keeping your lips pressed to hers for a few extra seconds.
“Good luck.” Turning back at your words, she winked and stuck her tongue out at you.
“As if I need it.” And with that, she walked off into the castle.
Things had been peaceful before the Vinsmoke family assumed the throne. You and Nami owned a little cottage in Cocoyasi Village. The bright yellow home was small and barely had enough room for the both of you but you wouldn’t have it any other way; you were happy. You spent your days tending to the tangerine orchard in your backyard, the fruits loved by everyone in the village. Nami always managed to convince people to buy more than they planned to and was especially good at upselling people at markets in other villages. Although you often caught her sneaking free fruits to kids but you could never get mad at her for it; her kindness towards children was just one of the many things that made you fall for her. You hoped to have some of your own with her some day.
That peace was gone the second the Vinsmoke family took over.
Your village was destroyed in the middle of the night before news of the old royal family being overthrown by the tyrants had even spread. You awoke to the sounds of screaming and a bright orange tint being cast over the walls of your bedroom. Looking out the window, you realized fire had enveloped the village. Nami had awoken too and looked at you in horror.
“We have to go!” Her words spurred you both into action and you exited the house with your hands clasped, running until your lungs burned from the exertion and smoke. No matter where you turned you were surrounded by fire. Anguished screams turned to white noise as you desperately searched for an exit, all thought leaving your head except for making it out alive.
“Over there!” She pulled your hand in the direction of an alley adjacent to a building that was untouched by the flames; you bitterly realized it was the bakery you two frequented. Your body was acting based on instinct as you climbed the fence and took hold of her hand again. It could’ve been minutes or hours before you made it to the outskirts of town. You couldn’t help but look back at the once beautiful, peaceful village you called home with tears streaming down your face, hardly believing within hours it would be burned to ashes.
As you stared at the flag bearing the signature symbol of Germa 66 that had been raised at the entrance, you both vowed to help the village any way you could and thus your life of crime began.
The carriage was parked to a spot on the side of the grounds hidden away from the public after you dropped her off at the main entrance, figuring it’d look less suspicious than her entering through an employees-only side door. There wasn’t much to do during her time inside and your ability to talk to animals came in handy, allowing you to converse with Chopper, the reindeer that pulled your carriage. You spoke of your lives before the tyrants took over. He had lived with a doctor studying medicine before he was ruthlessly killed by the royal family for no reason other than crossing paths with one of the sons on a bad day. You told him about how your village was destroyed and was just barely surviving; only a fraction of the buildings rebuilt even though it’d been years since it was attacked. Just like you and your partner, the animal was also trying to help his own village. He traveled around the kingdom treating people who couldn’t afford treatment normally. His ultimate goal was to build a hospital, which he told you with a bright smile, which is why he accepted side jobs like this. His cut was going to achieving his dream.
Eventually the conversation between you and Chopper died down, both of you lost in your own thoughts, and you took to watching outside the window for her to pass the time. You wished you had a view of the ballroom but even more than that you wished you could be in there with her, dancing the night away and indulging in all the delicious food and drink.Of course she was on a mission and probably on her way back by now but you couldn’t help but daydream of enjoying a lavish party like that with her. But this would all be worth it for the payout. A good amount would be spent back to your shared home village, poverty afflicting the area for quite some time and depending on how much she was able to steal, you’d finally be able to get that citrine encrusted engagement ring for her.
“She’s coming!” You snapped out of your train of thought. You quickly put on your quiver and grabbed your bow, loading it with an arrow. Your eyes scanned the area for any signs of movement, weapon raised at the ready. Luckily you only noticed the mice and Nami rushing to the carriage, loot in hand. From the looks of it, it was your biggest haul yet and could probably be able to cover food for the village for a few months. When everything was loaded, you sat next to her and gave Chopper the signal to leave. No one spoke as you kept your eyes trained on the back window, making sure no one followed you. Only when you were a safe distance away did you both melt into the seat, catching your breath. You noticed her bare foot; one of her slippers must have fallen off in her haste to get away.
“What about your slipper?” You asked playfully. She laughed and leaned in for another kiss.
“He can keep it. I have everything I want right here.” Her fingers intertwined with yours and you knew she wasn’t just talking about the money. Her head rested against your shoulder, the night catching up with her and her eyes blinked slowly in an almost cat-like way. It only took a few moments of gently being rocked by the movement of the carriage before they finally fluttered shut completely and she fell asleep. You kissed her head and let her rest.
You two drove off into the night and lived happily ever after.
