This one was also for a fanfic, one I actually started and never finished because apparently I have the attention span of a 6 year old on a sugar high :(

It was supposed to take place after a headcannon, where Chase get's his wish granted but only in exchange for working for Ex Libris. Anywho, the organization was hosting a party or ball sort of thing and the whole fic was Chase insisting on and doing Buddy's make up. I don't think I had realized that Buddy already wears eyeliner. I always thought that was just what his eye lashes looked like in the artstyle. And since Chase wanted to be a boy band member I thought it would fit him if he knew a thing or two about make up.

Also this was back when I thought that the outfit Silver made for Chase in Chapter 12 was going to be his official heroine outfit, kinda like Buddy's. What they're wearing in the picture were kinda fancified versions of their normal outfits

“How many eyes did they have?” they had asked.

“How many eyes?” I had responded.

“Yes, how many eyes.”

I sat and thought for a moment. Did I remember how many eyes they had had. It had to be a normal amount of eyes. Unless they had no eyes.

I remembered now. They had had no face. “None.”

“They had no eyes?” they asked.

“They had no face, their skin felt like wax but more spongey? I don’t know how I’d describe it.”

“And they took Gerry?”

“They took him, he was screaming, I remember the scream.”

“How did it sound like?”

“A normal human scream. He was my friend and they took him.”

“The person with no face took Gerry.”

“Yes, they took him and did something with him but I don’t know what.”

“Do you remember anything else about the person with no face?” they had asked.

“They didn’t speak but it felt like they had, responses to sentences never said had come from my mouth and it felt like they had said things, it didn’t make any sense!”

“Anything else about the individual?”

“Everything else about them seemed normal but at first I didn’t know what, they had normal clothes, normal hair, and their skin looked fine until I tried to grab them.”

“Did you not notice their face?”

“At first it seemed like they had one, but their eyes were cold and glassy and all the proportions were off, their nose was too thin, their eyes too wide, mouth too thin curving up in an uneasy smile. They seemed so normal but so off at the same time.”

The interviewer paused and thought for a moment. “Were they the only one there?”

“No.”

“There were more?” they had asked, sounding more concerned.

“I think there were, I remember more hands pulling at him than there should have been.”

I looked at the interviewer, noticing how their nose looked just a little too small but not quite. Their lips just a little too thin. 

“Where did this happen?” they asked.
