the premise of the kenobi show with obiwan trying to stay hidden and live his life and whatnot becomes immediately ten times funnier when you remember that at this point in time maul is traversing the galaxy still absolutely bonkers insane obsessed with finding obiwan. meanwhile obiwan is crying in his little sand hut and hasn’t spared a single thought for maul. we absolutely do not need any senseless cameos in the show, but i would make an exception for maul, simply because i think it would be very funny to have one (1) scene where obiwan is struggling with the Big Sad only to have it cut to maul like, overturning rocks on some desolate planet muttering to himself about kenobi
