The GT3 had been co-developed by a special team of Bentley engineers working with Malcolm Wilson's company, M-Sport Ltd. 2023 Bevo Francis Top 50 Watch List Announced

Kansas City, MO – Small College Basketball and the National Awards Committee are extremely excited to announce the Bevo Francis Top 50 Watch List for the 2022-23 season. The Top 50 Watch List consists of some of the top players from NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA. 

John McCarthy had this to say about this year’s Top 100 Watch List: “Congratulations to the 50 players on this prestigious list,” stated McCarthy. “There are approximately 13,000-16,000 players that compete at the small college levels; as such, this is a very elite list. Thank you to our National Awards Committee for all of their insight and guidance on the creation of this list.”

The Clarence “Bevo” Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be season statistics and individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements. This is an incredibly prestigious award, as this award will only be given to one player within Small College Basketball per season.

2023 marks the seventh year of the Bevo Francis Award. Past winners include Dominez Burnett of Davenport University in 2016, Justin Pitts of Northwest Missouri State University in 2017, Emanuel Terry of Lincoln Memorial University in 2018, Aston Francis of Wheaton College in 2019, Kyle Mangas of Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020 and Trevor Hudgins of Northwest Missouri State University in 2022. The award was not presented during the 2021 season.

On March 15th , the list will be reduced to the Top 25 players. On April 1 st , the finalists of this year’s award will be announced, followed by the Bevo Francis Award winner being crowned on April 3rd .

Aziraphale Fell just transferred to Terreville High and already, everything is going badly - until quirky Anathema Device and her nerdy boyfriend Newton invite him to join the Angelic Times, the school newspaper. Immediately, Aziraphale is assigned to interview the sports team, the Demons - including creepy Chris Hastur, intimidating Cedric Ligur, goth captain Beelz, and actually cute (!!) ginger boy, Crowley.

since @shitty-furry-2 has me thinking about a sc dating sim (god help us all) here are some school-centric ideas from a fic i wisely did not end up writing

-Sly: Bad boy with messy hair and winning smile. Actually pretty smart, but never does his homework. Popular, thanks to his constant jokes, but often detested, thanks to his constant jokes

-Carmelita: Scary hall monitor. Not necessarily the brightest student, but the hardest-working. Not leaving this school without at least five scholarships. Totally doesn’t like you or anything, ugh

-Bentley: The brightest student. Member of pretty much every club, including the terrible dorky ones. Especially those ones. Teachers like him because he’s quiet and smart. Other students, not so much.

-Murray: He’s a jock, right? WRONG. Being a jock requires being on at least one sports team. Murray does not do well in a school environment. His favourite class is Lunch, because he just wants to hang out and eat stuff. He cannot do maths. Pity him

-Neyla: An enigma. Effortlessly glides from class to class, getting good grades despite apparently doing no work. Violates uniform guidelines in the name of fashion. Popular, but out of fear.

-Penelope: Nerrrrrrrrrrrd! Third contender for valedictorian after Bentley and Carmelita. Has no friends, but doesn’t seem to notice or care.

-Dimitri: Weird exchange kid. Lots and lots of energy, but people struggle to work out what the hell he’s saying. Great news! This is a boarding school and he is your roommate. You sleep next to this guy. Every night.

The transaxle from his James Dean’s 550 Spyder sold for a whopping $382,000. The auction went through Bring a Trailer a couple of weeks ago, and saw a steel display stand with axles, axle tubes, drum brake assemblies, and a starter all find new homes.

Dean was driving the famed Porsche – dubbed the ‘Little Bastard’ – in the hills above Los Angeles on 30 September 1955, when he was killed after being T-boned by a Ford Tudor while heading to a race meeting. The Porsche was sold a while back, however, the transaxle was somehow separated from the vehicle before the sale.

Renault and Ikea team up to make a flat-pack car you build at home

Instead of building your own shelf and desk, you could soon be assembling your own car! French car maker Renault announced this week that it’s working on a project with Swedish flat-pack furniture giant, Ikea.

Codenamed Höga, meaning ‘high’ in Swedish, the vehicle would be intended for city use, and measure 2.3 metres long and 1.8 metres high. It’ll come at a cost though, as Ikea and Renault aim to market it for approximately AU$8300.

Like all other items at Ikea, it would arrive as in flat-pack form, then when fully assembled the model would encompass large windows, four-wheel steering, and a ‘skateboard’-style base, plus enough space to fit a wheelchair, pram, or bicycle next to the driver. Nifty.

When you can, why not? David Beckham joined the Barclay, Reuben and Dellal families in investing in the growing vehicle electrification company, Lunaz.

The company specialises in converting some of the most iconic classic cars in history to electric power, bringing to market some of the world’s first fully-electric Range Rover, Bentley, Rolls-Royce and Jaguar sports cars through its Lunaz Design brand.
