An enemy character feeling a sense of responsibility for their wounded foe because they're being trusted by mistake. Delirious characters Saying Things they wouldn't otherwise say, because they don't realize who they're actually speaking to. The variations are endless. But it's such a good opportunity for some angst and it's an excuse to get your hurt character revealing something about themself vis-a-vis whoever-they're-hallucinating that they wouldn't otherwise reveal.
