Pssssst.. Did you know that you can still play the G3 My Little Pony browser games, even on your phone?

Thanks to Web Archive and a Flash emulator called Ruffle, some of the 2000s web games still work! You don't even need to install Ruffle to do this, Web Archive's got you covered!

Henlo pals, I’ve been recieving lots of messages n replies asking how I had access to the old G3 site, and as I promised to @valerieponyrainbow and @rainbowsdahling, I decided to make a guide on how to use WaybackMachine. I hope the pics will load for those on mobile.

1. Go to WayBackMachine. But what is it, I hear you ask, shouting in the distance, crying. Well, WBM is simply a form of digital/online archive. It was made in order to prevent good memories, information and past activities from vanishing forever. It’s also free. Wholesome!!

Two important things before we start and lose ourselves in Ponyville. Firstly, you need to use a laptop, PC, whatever, but a phone or tablet won’t work for the games. Also, unfortunately, not every game will work, since the site isn’t meant to be visited anymore: finding the right game to work can take a lot of tries. Anyway, have fun!!

2. Type “mylittlepony” in the search bar. Or anything else for that matter. Your blog, facebook, walmart. Pretty much everything is on there, if the owner of the site didn’t block WBM. Once you hit “browse history”, you’ll get lots of results in the case of mylittlepony. You need to pick the first site.

3. Pick a year, a month and a day, and the time of the snapshot. Here I chose July 29, 2008, because it has merely a few loading mistakes. However, i suggest you chose the year 2006-2007 for the games, because the most recent versions will ask you to download adobe flash player (and that won’t work).

4. Once you’ve clicked on the snapshot time, you’ll be redirected to the website! Chose the page of your choice and have fun!

If it doesn’t work for you, try another day, year or month. And if you still have problems for the games, I’ve got some for you right here, and they work just fine:

Some more next gen! I have three NG universes, two of which I've drawn one character each from thus far. Here is one from the missing verse, which is technically the second verse of the three. I drew two hybrid characters from the first two because they're fun to draw, so I didn't go with that here. THIS TIME I actually drew the main (or one of the major) character of this second universe, whom is purely pony. This universe is the Kimonoverse- named after the above pony, whom is a major character in it. Its other name is the Pure Crackverse- why? Because every pairing in this universe was the result of a randomly generated ship machine. I rolled through ships until one popped up that I found unusual but also thought could work, and did that many times over. Some of the pairings in this universe are more "crack" than others, but for me, if the particular pairing wasn't in the top 3 of my personal ships for those characters, it was enough to be considered for this universe. ANYWAY! I actually draw a full-blooded pony character. Let's talk about her. Name: Princess Kimono Sparkle. Parents: Princess Twilight Sparkle and Cheerilee (birthed by Twi). Sibling Status: Only child. Special Talent: Observing the path of fate. Titles: Daughter of the Princess of Friendship; The Prophetess. Bio: Kimono was named after Cheerilee's grandmother, to whom she bears a striking resemblance (a personal headcanon of mine is that Cheerilee is of Japanese descent. I consider her mother to be Cherry Blossom and her grandmother is Kimono- both G3 ponies). Kimono's cutie mark appeared when she was extremely young, only 4 years old, and her parents didn't understand what it meant until she was 12. She also has a marking on her forehead that resembles an eye. Kimono is friendly and kind. She gets along with most others, especially children, but sometimes withdraws into books and will read for hours on end. Similar to her parents, she does well in a teaching role and enjoys helping and educating others. She can be a bit passive and struggles with particularly unruly or mean parties, something she's trying to work on. Kimono does her best to be a good role model and to make her parents proud. She has a heavy investment in magic and a special interest in magical creatures. Her special talent is observing the path of fate. She refuses to call it "reading the future" as she can view multiple outcomes, indicating to her that the future is not always certain. She will do this for others (Oracle is one of her jobs) but only selectively and carefully. Most of her "observation" comes to her suddenly, often alerting her to dangers. Her predictions become more significant in nature over time. As her ability to glimpse future possibilities became stronger, reaching farther forward, being clearer, and showing events of higher importance, Kimono herself gradually became more subdued. She was never a wildly bubbly or high-energy pony, but there were subtle differences. A quieter voice, spending more time independent of others, and rarely moving faster than a light trot. She never became mean or really withdrawn- she still interacted well with the population and did her job. Her tone and demeanor read as content and happy, not rushing anything. But she was different. Then Cheerilee passed away. Kimono withdrew more and while she continued to be around friends and teach foals, she refused to do any "observing." Just over a year later, Kimono abruptly vanished from Ponyville- no warning, no letter, nothing seen. Everything was done to try to locate her, but all failed. Nobody could find her. (oh I should probably mention that the Kimonoverse is also the universe with the darkest stuff happening in it)
