The year is coming to a close, so of course there's a lot of "Wow this year was really bad, wasn't it?" buzz, and something just popped into my head as I was scrolling twitter seeing those types of posts and agreeing with them in my head, but ALSO feeling this pang of "but also it was wonderful in a lot of ways for me too!" and then immediately feeling guilty.
And obviously, I shut that thought right down. Because we so easily forget that the two things can coexist. It can both be a terrible year and a wonderful year. It seems like those things are completely binary and that it should be ONE or the OTHER, but the human experience is such that it doesn't work that way- and a whole year is a long span of time. Even individual things can be both wonderful and terrible at the same time.
For example; My partner and I are ending this year with the purchase of a home. We closed at the end of last month and have officially started living at the new place, but it's far from 100% wonderful. We have an electrical issue that we need to get fixed right off the bat so we can do laundry. The sheer amount of work to do re; moving in is absolutely overwhelming and terrible and I constantly want to just QUIT (good thing I can't bc I'm locked into this mortgage so I guess we make it work!). But even with how terrible it is (Moving in the middle of winter also is AWFUL), it's wonderful because we finally have our own place to be, we don't live with his parents anymore, I can have my play partners over and we can actually do things and not sneak around like fucking teenagers. I don't have to worry about other people living with me spraying cologne or using scented detergent or other things that might set off my allergies. It's OURS. Mixed bag that it is.
And... I just wanted to remind anyone who needed to hear it that, yes, there is a lot of stuff that makes this year objectively terrible, but if you also had good things happen, none of those things are negated by the bad things in the world at large or even in your life. There is room for both. And you're allowed to both like and dislike this year for it. Sure there are things I wish were different- I would REALLY love if we took covid seriously, if bigots weren't winning what feels like constantly... but I also recognize that I feel better about myself than I ever have in my life, my relationship with my partner is the best it's ever been, and I have real friends and a social life that I haven't had in YEARS. I'm living my best life and I'm going to keep living it the best I can.

so about that gal that colby’s been seen with, the one who took the pic w him w the flower r smthg, for the ppl think that they’re together, i think she’s more likely with some guy named ‘Bronny’ who’s dad is an NBA player apparently??? they were rumored to be dating for a w h i l e ,and like he has no trouble liking her pics constantly if that’s the metric we’re using to determine who she’s with(so my guess is Colby & her are literally just friends,hopefuly ppl havent spammed her like mssinger)
i mean, if she's been linked to other guys recently, it wouldn't be the first time colby has been with a girl that was fucking around with other guys at the same time.
they might just be friends, but if it is more, it's not that deep or committed, so to speak.
i think snc are just having fun, including the girls they're with. and i don't think we as a fandom should take it to heart or think that this means they're in a relationship with said girls. just as a reminder to everyone :)

i’m crying at this and the comments lmfao like i said we have no survival instincts or any sense of self preservation. we are doomed. if it was a one time thing then whatever but it’s a clear pattern with black boys/men when they start getting money. no other race does this and it’s concerning, that’s literally all people are calling out. you think other races wouldn’t say the same thing if their men started giving all their wealth away as soon as they made it?

Bronny's Consulting Cardiologist's Statement
Bronny James' consulting cardiologist, Dr. Merije Chukumerije, said in a statement that Bronny was "successfully treated for a sudden cardiac arrest." However, the doctor shifted the praise towards the USC athletics' medical staff for their "swift and effective response." Dr. Chukumerije stressed that the incoming USC freshman was "fully conscious, neurologically intact and stable" as he entered the hospital. Then the James family also applauded the university staff.
After the horrific incident, their spokesperson said - "LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes."
What Happened Monday Morning?
The high school graduate was reportedly rushed to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center. His condition was "a Code 3" on Monday morning. The health emergency took place at the USC basketball facility. It seems the rising basketball star did not spend a long time in the ICU.

“Bronnie has reminded me of my last days with my dying father, who was craving emotional support from me. Presently, my mother is also diagnosed with a terminal illness and requires the same support. Lastly, I, who is witnessing this and is on the way to becoming an orphan, also need emotional help. Now, if everyone expects, then who will provide this so-called emotional support?
I am still not sure about many things.

Can I do anything against my distant family member who is getting involved in scams run by government people or politicians? I’m not sure if I can really tell him that he’s crossing the line, and once you choose the wrong path to earn quick money, then you can never go back to being right. I never expected that he’d fall prey to such means to maintain his survival after retirement. It’s complicated to point out that someone is earning money through foul ways if you not earning money at all.

NBA 2022-2023 Predictions
With the upcoming NBA season starting just a month from now, ESPN is already talking about who they have favored to win in this upcoming season. The reigning champions, the Golden State Warriors, managed to reassemble their squad and stick together to run it back in an attempt to go for back-to-back champions. The Finals MVP, Steph Curry has been putting in some serious work this offseason running open gym games with other NBA players working on their game. The general managers of the Warriors has already made it known that he plans to keep this squad together for as long as he possibly can, and that he believes that this team has the potential to be another dynasty to be compared with other legends of the game.
Speaking of legends, LeBron James is returning to the Los Angeles Lakers for his 20th season in the league. That’s right, twenty seasons playing for the National Basketball Association, that is over half of his life. LeBron continues to put in millions of dollars yearly into maintaining his physical dominance in efforts to sustain his longevity and love for the game. He has publicly come out and said that he plans on playing long enough to be able to team up with his first son, Bronny James, on the court one day. The Lakers have had more than enough time to get ready for this season. After their disappointing miss from the playoffs last year, the offseason started earlier than anticipated, which historically has been a good sign for Lebron and the teammates that surround him. Last time that LeBron missed the playoffs he led his team to the title the very next year.
The Western Conference is as stacked as it always is this year, with the Los Angeles Clippers finally being able to experience a fully healthy team. I personally believe that the Clippers have what it takes to win it all this upcoming year if they are fortunate enough to stay healthy. That is really what it all comes down to when it comes to the NBA playoffs, whatever team is healthiest and has the most depth will most likely go further than any other teams. The Eastern Conference has certainly gotten more competitive over the last couple of years. With Kevin Durant ultimately coming to an agreement to stay on the Brooklyn Nets, I believe that the Nets are the team most likely to make it out of the East. This is a team that has had great potential for years now, and it is finally time to uphold that potential and play basketball at the highest level that these superstars are known for playing at. The biggest competition that the Nets will have to face this year in the East will more than likely be the Boston Celtics, who they played in these most recent playoffs and ultimately got swept by. After a trip to the NBA finals, the Celtics managed to add Malcolm Brogdon, who is a lethal two-way player, to their starting lineup. Superstar Jayson Tatum is still on the rise as he leads the Celtics to another competitive year this year in the Eastern Conference. As mentioned earlier, playoffs really depend on who has the healthiest team. Hoping that everyone stays healthy throughout the year, I believe that it will be the Boston Celtics versus the Brooklyn Nets in the Eastern Conference Finals, with Brooklyn coming out on top of that series. In the Western Conference Finals, I believe that matchup will be between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors, with the Clippers winning that one just by a margin. This will setup a NBA finals of Clippers versus Brooklyn, who I believe that the Clippers have the more fierce team to take home the championship trophy for this upcoming 2022-2023 NBA season.

Twitter had time today they really had bronny trending for going to prom with his white girlfriend, it was straight clowning him and his dad for 20 minutes (they pulled out the picture with Bron and his white prom date). I don’t care cause he’s made it clear he wants nothing to do with black females but damn what did they expect from these sierra canyon kids. The black athletes are with white girls, the white kids are with white kids or with a black girl who’s in the all white friend group.
i won’t speak too much but i will say the way that we’re giving away our wealth to them after a few generations is getting spooky. not saying this is gonna happen 100% here but the odds aren’t looking great rn. cute pics tho!
