#i've never wanted to see a politics channel more #discourse #ask to tag #this is a joke btw #but also i wanna say 'ive joked plenty of times about trump' is just not true?? #the closest thing i can remember is 'i never called myself a republican' which isn't even 'i'm not a republican' #so like... it's understandable why people would think he's secretly a trump supporter #i believe that he's changed since he seems to have shown an improvement but it also wasn't that long ago #like the war cry and his 'fuck you if you're offended' response was in august 2020 #and i obviously know he's addressed it many times by now and shown growth in how he handled similar situations #and i don't believe that holding someone accountable forever for his past views is productive at all #but still #acting as if he’s always been clear on his platform is a bit disingenuous #happy he addressed it quickly ig but i wish he didn't make it sound like he's been openly against trump and 100% transparent to his viewers #he made one vague tweet for the elections that didn't mean anything #it makes this all seem less genuine? which i don't believe it is #or actually i don't wanna believe it is #politics cw #this is what i signed up for when i made the conscious choice to stan white gamer men #dream critical
