this makes me think. would neuvillette be able to recognize zhongli as the ex geo archon in the first place? i mean i'm pretty sure neuv will know immediately that zl is a fellow dragon, but technically zhongli doesn't have the gnosis anymore so??? and if my crack theory is right and zl is secretly the geo dragon sovereign then wouldn't neuv default to being sympathizing bc he knows how it feels like running at half the power? wouldn't that be so funny hauhasjdhjasd

and like. how would neuv 'judge' him in this case? fellow brethren he thought he must avenge turned out to be the 'usurper' he must put on trial - except he's not really a usurper he's just a silly man playing 5d chess. and yes he definitely has blood on his hand but then you could also say he was just trying to get his power back from being stolen by hp in the archon war? ogh. honestly, that would be suuuuuch a fun topic to explore….. hyv please. hyv take my big brain theory and make it canon i beg- /silly

Dragon Sovereigns are supposed to be wielders of their main element and their main element only, lest they be deemed impure and won't incarnate into a true dragon/their true form.

Despite this, loads of fans state Azhdaha is the Geo Sovereign despite his ability to wield all elements (save for dendro...but ig to be fair there were basically no enemies wielding dendro at that time besides like...slimes).

Would this mean he's potentially a reincarnation like Neuvillette instead?

I...don't really think so...because Azhdaha stated him as his current self is older than mankind and the mountains, and the mountains were said to be made by Phanes/PO. So if his current incarnation is older than even humanity, then wouldn't that mean it's more in line for him to be the OG Geo Sovereign vs a reincarnation like Neuv?

It's just, unlike a "true" OG Sovereign (according to the Vishaps in lore), he's "impure" due to being able to wield all elements. I'm confusion...but his age matches up, alongside Zhongli stating he's an elemental being.

Kinda unrelated, but people state it's obvious you're a Light Realm being if you're incompatible with the Human Realm's environment (hence the dragon vishaps somewhat being in pain I think in Enka), but the Geo Vishaps in Liyue are dancing and chilling with no worries lol
