Detest - an enemies to lovers story - chapter one

So I completely forgot to post this on here but here is the first chapter of my new book

As the sister of Becky lynch a lot is expected from you , to be as good as her , to follow in her footsteps but you have always wanted to blaze your own path in the wwe. Although you might not be a wrestler anymore you did still work for the wwe as a medic , in fact you were the head medic.

Everybody loved you , you were kind to all and always had a helping hand to lend , well except for one person , Rhea ripley, she hated you and you hated her , in fact hate isn't even a strong enough word it was detest. Ever since you had met her she just had it out for you.

One of the closest people to you since you started working for the wwe was Finn balór , he was like a big brother to you , he taught you how to wrestle when Becky was training aswell . (The age won't really make sense but just go with it) you were 12 and Becky was 15 , you and Becky weren't close back then because all she saw you as was her annoying little sister but as you both got older she came to realise that you weren't actually annoying and the both of you ended up becoming really close , while continuing your thoughts you were snapped back into reality by someone calling your name 'quin' you knew exactly who it was because only one person called you by your last name 'ripley' you replied 'what can I do for you today' you ask with a fake smile 'I'm being made come here to get my arm checked' she sneers back 'being made by who? Casper' you smirk 'shut up quin, luis and fergal are outside' your head immediately rises as you hadn't seen Finn in a month because he had been away travelling , you opened the door and ushered them inside before giving Finn a huge hug 'howya little lynch' he asks while laughing , u pull away and slap his arm 'when are you going to stop calling me that' 'never-' he was cut off by someone clearing their throat 'I still need my arm checked quin' you walk over to her and grab her arm without looking st her 'someone's in a mood today' you remark 'I'm not in a mood I just don't like dealing with you more than I have to' you scoff at her last comment 'your arm is fine u just need to rest it for a day or two' so she gets up and walks out , Damian and Finn walk over to you 'ignore her kiddo she's just stressed' 'she doesn't seem any different than usual to me' Finn puffs out a laugh as Damian cracks a smile , while Becky walks in with your niece roux 'look roux it's y/n' her head immediately shoot's up from her mothers shoulder as she sees you and starts calling your name as you walk over and take her into your arms and hug her ' my favourite human' you say 'I thought that was us' you hear someone say as liv , Raquel and Alexa walk into the medic room 'fine this is my favourite little human' you say before everyone begins chatting to eachother

*rheas pov*

Honestly I didn't want to be in that room any longer with her I can't stand her , she makes my blood boil and I don't understand why . She made me feel weird inside and I couldn't tell if it was good or bad from the second I met her so I decided to just avoid her as much as possible but she took that as dislike so I just played it off like it was so she would leave me alone , but the truth was it wasn't hate , I think it's intruigement? She was just so graceful , when she walked , when she talked , her posture ,her hair , her makeup even the way she dresses . No Rhea stop u don't like her , i hate her , no hate isn't strong enough , i detest her. She knows how to test my patience in all the worst ways . The only reason we met is because w years ago I was doing an interveiw and her sister was going past and we started fighting about Tim tams and then she was looking at me and smiled when I met her eyes , her smile ignited something in me , god that damned smile I hate how it makes me feel. It just pisses me off how she got I her job in this company by Becky being her sister and Finn basically being her brother , I worked my ass off to get here and she just waltzes in and gets the head medic job.

I was walking back to my locker room an hour later when I bump into someone 'oh sor- oh it's you' I sneer 'why are you always such a bitch' she snaps , I whip back around and grab her arms before checking if anybody is around and pinning them above her head 'what did you just say to me?' I smirk knowing I'm in control , I can hear her heart beating it's going that fast 'do I make u nervous baby?' 'No you don't scare me' 'then why is your heart beating to fast' I question 'because u look hot' I jump back in disgust letting go of her arms and walking off while I hear her laughing . Do I find her attractive ? Yes. Do I like her ? No. She's a stuck up twat who uses everyone around her to try get a better life for herself and I won't be a person for her to leech off. She can do that to her sister for as long as she wants , not me , I don't need to be her friend

Pairing: Damian Priest x Fem reader

Description: While stressed out pushing yourself past your limits a training session with Damian proves how you aren't okay

You felt excited to train with Damian for the day despite the chronic stomach pain, the throbbing pain in your head, and anxiety in your chest. You had a very packed and busy month from your big win at smackdown and your thrilling tag team match with Rhea to your upcoming match against Becky Lynch, interviews, and meetings about storylines which was okay for the first three weeks but it became a hectic, then stressful, chaotic, and now it was truly unbearable leaving you a nervous wreck all the time from the moment you wake up til you try to sleep being lucky to get an hour or two where you weren't in pain or sick. You smile seeing damian feeling your heart flutter and grow hugging him tightly as you walk inside the gym together already knowing you were going to be in a lot more pain and exhausted when you're done, taking a sip of water before you stretch joking with damian and Dom who happened to be in the gym training for his match against Shelton Benjamin. You learn a few tricks in between practicing new moves and feeling cold chills go throughout your body as time goes on not noticing dom asking damian if you were sick from how pale and exhausted you looked but you were determined to finish training even if you had to take a few breaks. You feel pure adrenaline as you spar with damian while dom stands ring side until you stop taking a breath looking at the ceiling "You need a minute?", "I'm alri-" the last thing you remember was feeling lightheaded seeing both their faces full of concern and fear before everything went black, "Woah hey hey!" damian catches you as you fall laying you down as dom touched your forehead feeling the coldness and clammy feeling along with the warmth and sweat taking you to the ER. The doctor determined that you passed out from stress, dehydration, and chronic pain from an ulcer that was in your stomach, thankfully you would only need to have antibiotics for the ulcer and just properly take care of yourself to get better, waking up feeling very heavy and drained "God you scared the shit out of us" you hug dom as you slowly lean up taking a drink of cold water feeling much better when you and damian go to your home. "You can go home" he shakes his head stopping you before you can say anything else "I will be losing my mind if I don't know you're okay...I care about you too much for that to happen.." you turn and look at him feeling your heart stop "Too much? What do you mean?" he sighs as he grabs your shoulders "I...I've always meant it when I say this but I mean it much more when I tell you" you raise a brow as you realize what he means, going for it and closing the space between the two of you pulling him to you in a kiss pulling away and laughing as you see the look on his face "Well that's one way to get to the point mi vida" you both laugh sharing a second and quicker kiss going upstairs to your bedroom falling asleep with a smile and plans of a date the next morning.

spy x family episode 6

I didn't really like this episode as much as I liked the previous ones (but to be honest, episode 5 is going to be really, really hard to top in my opinion).

I feel like this episode didn't feel as impactful is because it very much focuses on introducing new characters and arcs (Eden gang, the Handler; Yor acceptance of herself and her wish to be a mother to Anya) rather than expanding on pre-existing dynamics.

Despite how much I love that Yor and Anya had their moment to shine, I just didn't feel it was as rich and prolonged as episode 5 dedicated to 1) embarrassing Twilight into his grave 2) deepening the bond between Anya and Loid in the cutest ways.

I hope they will have more mother-daughter scenes and moments, because of course, as well as in manga, that chapter/half of the episode is a set-up for Yor's future character development arc, so it didn't feel as meaningful as Anya&Loid's scenes together in eps 4&5 (1 too, but it was introduction and did focus mainly on their relationship as well). My theory behind which chapters this season going to cover is that the finale is going to be introducing Bond to the family, so I'm sure there's still plenty of room to expand on Yor and Anya, and both of them separately. And we still have yet to see the entrance of another character of this show, Loid's stress ulcers. So there's a lot to be looking forward to.

Of course we get to see the Meme Queen, the legend incarnate

Eden kids are super cute, I finally get to see animated Becky, Damian is delightfully bratty as he should perfectly be.

But that being said, I don't think ep6 is weak! I think it's a very solid episode, it just serves a different purpose than the previous ones. So it doesn't feel like a separate, singled out whole episode and more like an prologue to what's coming, and I think it's fine.

and I'm very much looking forward to episode 7, because it seems like it's based on chapter 9. And it's fucking hilarious, I love this chapter.

Also based on the pacing, I very much fear that the last episode before hiatus is going to be THIS FUCKING CLIFFHANGER, and to be honest I'm not emotionally ready (god yes please give food for my starved twiyor ass).

(also I hope we get to see the aquarium chapter with penguins)
