Been feeling this lately. Having to run through the flames of facebooks triggers to get to the safety of the event. I've taken to saving the links to the zoom meetings elsewhere so that I don't have to go via Facebook. I enjoyed playing around with the fire effects. I drew my friend's character. :) We did an art trade and was wondering of some things to draw while I wait to have the energy to connect to myself again. I'm pleased with how they came out, I'm not normally good at drawing dogs so I'm rather pleased with myself. I wanted to draw something dynamic and feel that it shows real expression. Here's my first ever drawing of a person using digital art that I am proud of! I've always had judgements of myself about not being able to draw people so here we have it! I think it vaguely looks like me which is a plus! I didn't realize how long I was! It's real validating to really look at myself and see what I look like in order to draw me without having the 'You're vain' international gudgements. They don't have clothes on yet because I figured it would be a good idea to have their base shape good first so that I can then put clothes on them and have the way the fabric moves and falls correctly. It also illustrates that women and people seemed female at birth might be seen in society as just a body. Though as I process my trauma - I'm hoping to reclaim myself. Be happy within my own skin. And not see my body as something to be ashamed of. Take up my space that I am. I am working through and doing character sheets for my comic. Here is Cadnora in current time. They are tired, overwhelmed and the result of society. How it has treated them so far. Anxious. Depressed and expressionless. Laking energy and the ability to connect to themselves easily.
