I finally found an Adria faceclaim that I don’t hate!
Tumblr media
(Now I’m thinking about changing her name, because I think Adria is too close to Adrasteia)

I know she's been a minor character and a thorn in Nova's side so far, but I'm curious, so 39 for Adria. And because I enjoy the villains, 19 for Basilio, please?
Hi! Thanks for the ask!
What's your character's guilty pleasure?
Adria's guilty pleasure is going into Basilio's records room in the palace to read through old indictments/execution warrants. She likes to know what people did, so if she comes across them/their relatives she can taunt them accurately. She's really not supposed to do this--Basilio doesn't want anyone, even his heir, looking at that stuff too closely--a lot of charges were trumped up, and if she starts talking people might start putting it together.
What does your character consider to be their lowest point?
Basilio has two-- the fact that he knows he couldn't have beat Leandro in battle, and had to send Giacomo to the palace if he wanted any chance at the throne. He hates that he alone wasn't enough to win, and especially hates that he had to send a sorcerer to get it done.
His second one is giving Enrico North Circi. At the time, it seemed like a fun way to torture him, but it has come back to bite him. Turns out, giving half of your empire to a notoriously bad-tempered man who hates you isn't a good idea. He also resents why he had to do it--he could never have won the loyalty of the North--he pretends not to mind, but it stings.

for the alphabet soup, a, k and v!!
Nothing for k, but
For A:
Attilio di Mercurio: Stopped talking to his parents when he was a teenager, and created a little found family with his best friends. They fought evil together, and it was awesome, until the woman he loved betrayed him and married into the tyrannical aristocracy. He still took in her children, and keeps fighting for them when they get separated. This guy looks at the child of a woman he loved who left him and goes: “Guess I’m a dad now.”
Adria Bianchi: The worst. Just awful. Basilio’s appointed heir, practically runs Invernino and makes Novellia’s life miserable. Never worked a day in her life and it shows. Giacomo has to work closely with her at Invernino, and she’s so annoying that it’s part of the reason he eventually sees through Basilio after three decades. She’s fun to write though!
Arnoldo Gentilini: Love this man so much. He’s the embodiment of the “looks tough but is actually a huge softie trope.” He was originally created as part of the backstory, as a casualty of war, but everytime I write about him I get really sad and try and find a way to bring him back.
Agrippina Corvi: The coolest. Married into the family of deposed reantica nobles at a time when it was dangerous to be associated with them, and keeps up a library in her house of all the books that Basilio and his government want to get rid of. Her and Rodrigo are a terrifying bicon power couple who raise three equally crafty children.
For V:
Vincenzo Milani: Enrico’s second in command after the war. Not the smartest, but has enough emotional intelligence to keep his boss from doing stupid things out of guilt. He and Giacomo become fast friends after he arrives at court. They have one brain cell between them and they never use it (it drives Martino insane!)
Thanks for the ask!
