First minis done in 2024 for me. Group of emperor's children contemptor dreadnoughts I painted for my legions imperialis force. Only came with two lascannon, so grabbed a pair of leftovers from the vanguard miniatures gladiator suits I'd done previously and slapped them on. Made some city bases for them from patterned plasticard to match my titanicus legio.

2 Contemptor Dreadnoughts of the World Eaters Legion, 245th Company.
Armed with a Multi-Melta and chainfist, Draghir Khor is the belligerent and bloodthirsty Devoured of a Red Butchers squad, interred within the Sarum-made sarcophagi of the Contemptor after debilitating injuries sustained on the killing grounds of Istvaan V.
Hrakh the Blessed walks into battle armed with a Kheres-pattern assault cannon. Though bearing the ill-fated mark of the War Hounds and entombed before the legion's mass implementation of psycho-surgery, Hrakh's lust for gruesome violence and perceived favour with the Blood God has earned him the respect of the warriors of the 245th.

Note
I know that the Raven Guard are probably the last legion to ask about dreadnoughts, but, I’d try my luck anyway. What’s your favorite dreadnought pattern? In terms of design or utility.
"This will be complicated as I like dreadnought with a suitable design for the legion Also the utility of the dreadnought has to be close enough to match the legion's tactic and stuff. I took time to see all the dreadnought designs, I admit I liked all of them whenever it was their utility or design, the close ones to be my fav would be Contemptor-Incaendius Class Dreadnought from the Blood Angel Legion and the Contemptor-Cortus Class Dreadnought" Corvus said, being honest about her answers before she take a sip from her cup of earl grey tea

Let it never be said the 6th are, in their primitiveness, incapable of artifice. I have seen, in one instance, one of their Dreadnoughts (a Contemptor pattern, or perhaps a late-model Furibundum) panoplied for war at a muster. They had about their left calf a thong of leather, along which were arrayed the teeth of various foes the pilot had slain in their career. From their pelvis, a loincloth of fur descended - no doubt the pelt of some great Fenrisian Wolf (though I am informed by my sources that no such creature exists). In equal aspects awing and grim, it was quite a sight.

“I never liked the boxes you put them in.” Triko says pointing at a Dreadnought. “I can bring back the Contemptor pattern and move them in them. You can name the price since you are a first time customer.”
@askthewanderer40k
'Are you saying you have an STC for the Contemptor Pattern Dreadnought?' Sanguinius asked the Rogue Trader.

OC page 2
Apthocary Sindi Larsyle: Female space marine from the second legion recently released from stasis. After hearing what happened to her legion she refused to return to the Imperium.
Character notes: 7’9, has agreed to change her armor to prevent her identity from being obtained. Severe hatred for the Wolves due to their part in her legions purge. Claims to be a prototype for a version of female space marines.
Inquisitor Octus Vorai: Blood relative to Triko from a former lovers bloodline many years ago, he has requested to stay with him due to him wanting to learn about the past and to help his last remaining family member.
Character Notes: 5’11, 26 years old. Has nightmares about seeing his family being slaughtered as a kid. Graduated from the Schola Progenia on Terra, has become more loyal to Triko than to the Imperium and will use his clearance to help however he can. 40K exclusive
Lametrius Cyburion: Lementers dreadnought who requested to join along with Triko to repay a debt the Lementers believed they had. After many attempts to refuse Triko eventually caved in and Lametrius serves as heavy weapons support for ground battle and gives advice to Triko about fighting and philosophy.
Character notes: As with all Lementers, constant melancholy. After joining he was transferred out of the Castraferrum Pattern and move into a Contemptor Pattern Dreadnought to improve battle capabilities. Due to the change in dreadnoughts, Lametrius has been able to awaken more often and lifespan has increased. 40K exclusive
Willian Osnar: a Voidborne child from Triko’s ship who displayed powerful Psyker abilities as a toddler. His parents since died due to an incursion from Nurglite daemons, due to this he has been reclusive in his personality but is a little open to Triko.
Character notes: 7 years old, this goes without saying but NO flirting or anything of the sort whatsoever. 4’2 ft tall (127 cm). Alpha level Psyker, kept in check by Octus and Daravyn. Extra Anti daemon precautions placed for safety reasons due to him being a powerful Psyker. 40K exclusive
Phosis T’kor: A marine hailing from the Thousand Sons. Once a devotee of Tzeench, he witnessed the flesh change in his brothers, who instead of feeling like it was a gift, felt it was a curse. He left the Thousand Sons saying he left to ‘study’ the galaxy, learn it’s secrets. In reality he left chaos as a whole. Rather than kill him Tzeench let him go for reasons unknown. He recently met with Triko after saying he is willing to pay for smuggling. Rather than denying his request, he sent him to Octus, who cleared him of Chaos taint and labeled him redeemed. He joined the crew shortly after.
Character notes: Still harbors resentment towards the wolves, they did destroy his homeworld. Also an Alpha grade Psyker due to genetics. Due to being a powerful Psyker and vast knowledge of the warp, he has been appointed Carto-Artifex. Has not met Willian yet but can feel a powerful psykic presence from the ship somewhere. Non exclusive.

“Ancient Glory”
- miniature by Baramyne The DD
"I have seen worlds burn and crushed nations underfoot, torn down the idols of false gods and slaughtered kings like cattle. Presume not to order me, tiny man, for I am war, and you are no more than chaff before the scythe..." —Venerable Targas of the Executioners

The First Squad Champion
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He is done, nothing really major done save for the adding of blood angels red and yriel yellow to the eyes.
He is a former marine of the Blood Angels chapter, which will be something that is a reoccurring theme across the force, that is loyalists turning traitor and traitors changing their allegiance. I have ideas that may take shape soon hopefully.
One idea is a Contemptor dreadnought that will be made from bits of the legion specific contemptors. With the other being up-armouring the predators, with the former Iron Warrior Predator having spaced armour. However, the Deimos pattern Predator will have reactive armour (if I can find a good way of making it).
Now for the rest of the five man squad.

Progressing through the army, here is Honored Brother Victor Noa, first chapter master of the Red Spectres. Brought to the brink of death while cleansing their home-world Lore of a disastrous heretical uprising, Chapter Master Noa was interred in the only dreadnought chassis the company owned at the time; an archaic Contemptor Pattern suit. Now he serves the chapter in its times of greatest need.

Company of the Dead Dreadnought #4: Venerable Gracchus
Venerable Gracchus was once Lieutenant Antiochus Ben-Iosef, a Chemos born Astartus and a member of the Legion’s destroyer cadre. A deeply empathetic man by nature, Antiochus was chosen for a role with the Destroyers precisely because Fulgrim believed that a man of conscience was a far better choice for the very brutal tasks often asked of the Destroyers andtheir proscribed weaponry. Indeed, Ben-Iosef and men like him could rightly be described as the moral core of the Emperor’s Children at their best.
A veteran of many battles, Antiochus lost himself in the study of archaeo linguistics. He was particularly fascinated by “micro-linguae” - languages spoken by comparatively small but highly literate populations, rarely found outside the specific territorial holdings of that population: Basque, Magyar, Tingarian, the bizarre and apparently Aeldari derived language of the Pan-Hieratic Enclaves, etc. He produced limited quantities of beautifully hand illuminated manuscripts, and had established such a reputation that on at least one occasion he was allegedly used as a linguistic aide for a Mechanicum expedition escorted by the Third.
During the Enochid Suppression, Antiochus was nearly annihilated by Demiurg naval gunfire so intensely accurate that it allegedly melted a hole from the fore of his thunderhawk gunship to the aft without actually destroying the craft. Only his central nervous system survived unruined. Antiochus was interred at the end of the campaign, and his stasis coffin was paired with a Contemptor. Fulgrim chose an honorific cognomen taken from names of the famous Ancient Roman reformers, the Gracchi brothers.
Gracchus was one of a small number of the legionary ancients in the Warrior Lodges. Having long been frustrated with what he saw as mismanagement of the Great Crusade in the Emperor’s absence, Gracchus had come to believe that Fulgrim’s increasing instability was a result of mental strain: his gene-father was changing because of the horrible choices he’d been forced to make. He had come to accept that Fulgrim might make a break with Terra, and was prepared to support it. Unfortunately, these same conflicted morals made it clear to Fulgrim that Gracchus, like so many others, would remain loyal to Terra. This was to be a very poor assessment.
At Istvaan III, Gracchus was part of the first wave. The subsequent betrayal of the Venerable and his battle brothers turned any sympathy for Fulgrim into venom, and the Dreadnought flew into such a rage that he rampaged, unrestrained, until eventually becoming isolated with a small group of Ordo Reductor Mechanicum forces under Caleb Decima. It was with Decima that Gracchus escaped Istvaan, and through Decima that Gracchus eventually reached the Company of the Dead.
Gracchus was built mostly using a standard Contemptor kit. He is armed with a Kheres pattern assault cannon and a Toxiferno cannon. The Toxiferno cannon is not produced in any official form, and this was converted from a VSF/Steampunk style lascannon produced by Zinge. The Toxiferno is not a common choice; it is a truly nasty weapon, but has a relatively short range. I’ve found it to be quite effective, but owing to range I’d probably not arm an entire Cohort with the things.
