Thinking about when I had a dream that turned out to technically be a prophecy bc it perfectly predicted a large plot development in Warframe’s storyline that I hadn’t gotten even close to yet

#ik this sounds silly but im not joking. it was technically just my subconscious guessing/speculating and happening to get it right #but I will still call it a prophecy bc it sounds cooler and isn’t *technically* wrong #for those who don’t care about warframe spoilers #I was very early game & didn’t know about Operators yet and I had a very vivid dream where I was a human(?) inside a cryopod #and I was controlling a warframe with my mind and I compelled it to come to me and take me out of the pod #and take me back to the orbiter #and there’s no way I’d seen anything about it bc I wasn’t playing it with friends and had no contact with the community or other players #was literally just a wild guess that turned out to pretty much hit the nail on the head #it even put me in the correct room that the Operator is in. that room had not been opened at the point in the story I was at #the fact this was a dream specifically also is really funny to me. very thematically accurate format for a warframe plot prediction

#it’s been the hottest summer in the history of our city and most ppl don’t have refrigerated air it’s just swamp coolers #which dont work really well either when it’s above a certain temp or when it’s humid at all #so they were like oh sorry it’s not getting super cool it’s because it’s soooooo hot out #anyway my nosy neighbor just came up to me and she was like you see those AC maintenance guys over there? they just told me our unit has #been operating at 0% all summer our property just refuses to pay for it to get fixed so they’re going to like serve papers to the office #or something #like i feel like i should be mad but i’m #mostly just impressed that i survived the hottest summer in one of the hottest cities in the us without AC and didn’t notice

my brother and I are big 'talk with our hands' people more than our parents. sometimes you can follow exactly what he's talking about even if you don't quite understand the terminology bc he acts out reconnecting components and using tools, and draws wire layouts in the air. tracing them on a board only he can see. very detailed movements.

#the place he was at recently wanted him to do smth impossible - the spare part they had didn't have the necessary software. like. #the reason the machine had been messed up all this time was bc they were trying to operate it with not-quite-compatible software. hello??? #it was like. a simpler version. older. they were all 'but it's the same kind of board so it should work fine. fix it!' [INCORRECT BUZZER] #so actually finding the correct type of board that had the correct version of that program was A Whole Thing. then he had to check it. #to be EXTRA SURE. then drive back out to the plant like an hour and a half away from the workshop the next day. #then check it again there. and install it. and now the machine is working the way it's actually SUPPOSED TO... #it was like a 3-day ordeal. bc the plant guys didn't want to keep the actual correct (slightly more expensive) replacement part on-hand. :I #this particular type of factory is like 110*F on cooler days where he's at so having to spend any more time there than necessary sucks.
