So at some point while I was playing Pokemon Shield last night, I checked my status and saw something called "Pokerus" on 3 of my pokemon. I google it and we figure out it's a super rare buff that lets you level up a lot faster (1/21,845 chance) but it only lasts for 1-4 days. We kept looking around and it looks like this feature has been around since probably the very first pokemon game?? I've never heard of it and I've been playing Pokemon for 10 years.

The way you get Pokerus is just randomly against a wild pokemon that has it. Once your pokemon catches it and is cured, it can never get it again. You can halt it from healing by sticking it in a box though! The virus spreads to other team members next to it too, so your whole team can get it!

I've gotten back into the mood of working on my project (an idea that I've been working on off and on for almost 3 years) and man I love it. I'm so pleased and happy with my characters and I enjoy trying to draw them and have fun with everything. I still don't have official designs for everyone because *laughs in can't draw* but that's besides the point lol. I love to write and I love writing about my children. So, if you see OC drawings the future, you know why lol
