TULSA KING follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), after he is released from prison after 25 years and is unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a crew from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet. Delany will play Margaret, an affluent and influential equestrian and owner of a sprawling horse farm and animal preserve. She is a formidable presence and a trustee of the Annie Oakley Society.
Delany made her mark as Army nurse Colleen McMurphy on “China Beach,” for which she received two Emmy Awards and four nominations for Best Dramatic Actress. Delany also received an Emmy nomination for a guest-starring role on the CBS drama “Family Law.” Delany’s additional television credits include “Body of Proof,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Hand of God,” and most recently “The American Guest.” She has also been the voice of Lois Lane on “Superman: TAS,” “The Batman” and “Justice League” and “Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.” On film, she has appeared in “Light Sleeper,” “Housesitter,” “Tombstone” and “Fly Away Home” among many others. Theater credits include “A Life” and “Translations” on Broadway, “Blood Moon” off-Broadway, “Much Ado About Nothing” at the Old Globe Theatre, the Pulitzer prize-winning play “Dinner with Friends,” “The Parisian Woman,” “The Night of the Iguana,” “Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties,” and most recently the premiere of “Good Night Nobody” at the McCarter Theater.
The series also stars Andrea Savage ("I'm Sorry”), Martin Starr ("Silicon Valley"), Max Casella (“The Tender Bar”), Domenick Lombardozzi (“The Irishman”), Vincent Piazza (“Boardwalk Empire”), Jay Will (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”), A.C. Peterson (“Superman & Lois") and Garrett Hedlund (“The United States vs. Billie Holiday”).
Mirroring the successful 2021 launches of 1883 and MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN, Paramount Network will air a linear sneak peek of TULSA KING’s debut episode on Nov. 13, as a special simulcast event immediately following the highly anticipated Season 5 premiere of “Yellowstone.” Similarly, the second episode of TULSA KING will air behind “Yellowstone” on Nov. 20. Paramount+ UK Launch Event
Talent Quotes/Excerpts
June 20, 2022
TULSA KING
Sylvester Stallone
What we have here is a great story about a guy getting an new chance in life, a fresh start - it’s not over ‘til it’s over – something everyone can relate to.
No matter how much money you have, you want to be loved and have something to love. You may not attain it but you keep trying.
Through all the episodes, they’re funny they’re serious - there’s true passion.
YELLOWSTONE
Kevin Costner
Cinematic storytelling is what Paramount does. Now, Paramount is taking that incredible movie legacy and bringing the same approach to television – pushing TV and streaming to where they’ve never gone before with Yellowstone leading the way.
Taylor Sheridan has created a truly gripping story – a story about family, power, deception and redemption. No one could have predicted that Yellowstone would break records in the United States with 20 million viewers globally…making it not only the #1 show in America, but the Netherlands and Canada as well.
BASS REEVES
David Oyelowo
It’s a role I’ve been obsessed with playing for several years now. I mean, this is the guy the iconic Lone Ranger was based on – and who, unfortunately, got whitewashed out of history.
STAR TREK
Sonequa Martin-Green
Being a part of the Star Trek universe is a journey like no other. It is truly an honor to play Captain Michael Burnham of the USS Discovery. Not only because she’s the first Black woman to captain a starship – but because I get to be a part of an extraordinary decades-long history with the most passionate fans in the world.
Kate Malgrew
In Star Trek Voyager, I had the pleasure of playing Captain Kathryn Janeway – the first female Star Trek captain. And it’s been so much fun being the voice of Captain Janeway on the animated series, Star Trek Prodigy. There’s nothing more joyful than inspiring children to imagine what’s possible throughout and beyond the stars.
In fact, Paramount+ is bringing the entire Star Trek universe to life: with movies and franchises that cross back and forth – from series, to films, to animation. We truly have something for everyone.
YELLOWJACKETS
Melanie Lynskey
The story is so clever and compelling – and does such a beautiful job of exploring the inner worlds of teenage girls, who don’t fit into stereotypes or neat boxes.
 Tawny Cypress
The show is a psychological thriller, but it’s also a coming of age story about the ways we’re shaped by our past. And what makes Yellowjackets such a pleasure for an actor is that it is unafraid to present women as complicated, layered, and imperfect – in other words, real women.
GEORGE & TAMMY
Jessica Chastain
Our new series George & Tammy tells the beautiful story of two lost souls who find each other through music. I had the privilege of playing the great Tammy Wynette – a true pioneer of country music.
Her talent was as big as her heart, and she profoundly influenced generations of musicians, especially women. But behind that music was a story about love, heartbreak, and redemption. And we did our best to tell it in a way that is unvarnished and true.
Michael Shannon
In the series, we uncovered a complex, moving, very human story about life and love.
And what makes this series remarkable is the power of George & Tammy’s music – the way it shaped these two extraordinary artists, and the way it helps convey this story’s dramatic weight beyond words.
The Man Who Fell to Earth
Chiwetel Ejiofor
We’re all so proud of this show and so excited to share it with you today.
 Naomie Harris
Our show is really about the idea that true connection is universal, and the very key to our survival.
 Bill Nighy
I have the honor of picking up where the great David Bowie left off, playing the alien Thomas Jerome Newton.
Of course, 25 years later, he’s a bit older and worse for wear, which is why I got the part.
And while this is a story of imagination, the themes we explore are ones we all grapple with every day.
The writing is truly exceptional and the cinematic quality of this series is so beautiful, you won’t be able to take your eyes off the screen.
1883
Tim McGraw
What drew me to 1883 was that this was such a unique moment in world history as industrialization was transforming the way people lived. And the canvas Taylor created is an expansive, authentic look at a rapidly changing society.
He didn’t use a single pixel of CGI. Our 400-person cast and crew traversed the United States for 7 months. We filmed from coast to coast, going from 100 degree heat out in the open plains, to below freezing temperatures in the mountains.
What you see is not special effects – the horses, the river crossings, the fights, it’s all real, designed to take you into the heart of the American west. And the challenge is what excited me – because I knew that if we could get it right, we’d be creating something totally new.
Faith Hill
Filming this series has been unlike anything Tim and I have ever done. And it’s been worth every second – because we’re creating something that audiences have connected with so deeply.
1883 has become such a blockbuster hit because, at its heart, it’s a story about universal themes that speak to who we are as humans – seeking new worlds, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, and, at its core, protecting the enduring bonds of family. They touch on ideas that all of us – no matter where we’re from – can connect to.
It was such a success that Taylor wanted to go deeper into this world, with a story about
a legendary lawman – but with a twist.
THE OFFER
Matthew Goode
In our limited series The Offer, we go behind-the-scenes to explore the making of The Godfather. When I read the script, I just knew I had to be part of telling his remarkable story.
iCARLY
Miranda Cosgrove
I play a teenager who has to balance high school and being an international star – she was the original influencer.
I love working with Paramount+ on our show – because we have the broadest diversity of content of any streaming service, including an incredible library of Kids and Family content.
Teen Wolf
Tyler Hoechlin
When we joined this series as young actors over ten years ago, I never imagined that today, Teen Wolf would continue to be beloved around the world. Not a week passes that I don’t hear from fans asking when we’re going to resurrect the franchise.
What’s so appealing about Teen Wolf, particularly for young people, is that werewolves have secret identities. And there’s something captivating about that idea – because it’s what every young person, no matter where they live, struggles with as they come to terms with who they are.
 Tyler Posey
So we’re incredibly excited about partnering again with Jeff Davis on our new Teen Wolf movie on Paramount+. The story takes us back to Beacon Hills with the wolves howling again. And get ready for Jeff Davis’ new series that will premiere at the same time as the movie, Wolf Pack. You can catch up on the franchise with the entire 100-episode library of Teen Wolf on Paramount+.
 HALO
Pablo Schreiber
Halo is a franchise that has touched generations – and being a part of its legacy is a dream come true.  Bringing this series to life has been more than just fun, more than a labor of love. It’s a responsibility to do right by the diehard fans of Halo – and to people who just love great television.
 Natascha McElhone
What makes my character so compelling is that she’s constantly challenging and upending the status quo. It’s been rewarding to play such a complex woman who manages to subvert expectations and constantly surprise us.
Hopefully with these rich characters the show brings to life, we’re able to explore deeper questions about humanity – about what other forms of intelligence we create and adapt to and whether we improve or degrade because of it.
THE FIRST LADY
Gillian Anderson
THE FIRST LADY is a female-driven story about three distinct eras of American history.
