Look all I'm saying is that we have Patty calling Dante to invite him to her 18th birthday party. Where she specifically points out to him that she is no longer a kid. Let's not forget that her calling him is also a direct call back to the first episode of the anime, where Dante tells Patty to give him a call in 10 years and he will take her out on a date. Capcom could have implemented Patty's cameo many different ways, yet they choose to have this call back in the game.

Also in Nico's report on Patty, she talks about how Dante knows the young woman and that Patty still visits Dante from time to time at DMC. Nico then points out that Patty just turned 18 and that she is popular and well liked in school and that >she turns down all the guys.< Why point this out unless something is being suggested?

So we have two heavily suggested hints in one game that Patty is in fact in love with Dante. It's actually very on the nose too. Everything regarding Patty in DMC5 includes hints of her feelings for Dante. Capcom didn't need to include these hints and yet they choose to. I find this very interesting.

Patty to Dante's rescue in DMC6?

I will say out of all the "love interest" options Dante has, an older Patty would be the best choice in my opinion. It feels like she genuinely cares more about him then anyone in the series. So now that she is older and has romantic feelings for Dante.... I don't know.... Age difference or not, I can just see it.

IF they ever did get together, I highly doubt it would happened immediately. Dante would of course fight it. He would at first doubt her feelings are actually romantic and then he would believe she deserves someone better than himself (although who is better than Dante?) and someone closer to her age etc. Not to mention he would fear her safety in a relationship with him, afraid demons would use her as his weakness. Which is why I feel he keeps himself at a certain distance from everyone already. He doesn't want to ever lose someone he cares about again.

Also I wanna point out something else real quick.... I have yet to read the Pre-DMC5 novel "Before The Nightmare" myself. But regardless, it is apparently stated that demon wise, Dante is still considered young. Meaning since he is half demon he could live to be hundreds of years old.
