he wants to remember your laugh and how it sounded like wind chimes on a summer day. he remembers every detail about you because he can't let go of your memory. it's all he has left, and it makes him feel like he's not completely alone in this world anymore.

he can't bear the thought of never seeing you again, and so he spends his days replaying your memories together over and over again in his mind until they become ingrained into every part of him. but even after all these years . . . he still misses you terribly . . .
