dates come in two types: exciting and relaxing. it depends on what your mood and his mood is in, or your schedules. surprisingly he considers a lot of things while planning a date... sometimes. the other times, he's impulsively taking you somewhere in the middle of the day when there's nothing else to do.

the exciting dates are usually last-minute unplanned ones. what even are you guys gonna do today? more or less you end up in an arcade with a few games rinne (or you) has been dying to try, or a pachinko parlor with nothing but a couple of coins in your pocket for this kind of thing. maybe even shopping too...

don't worry, rinne has kept some coins so both of you can come home after this. or not. just hope he won't spend it accidentally...

more relaxed dates are 50/50: planned ones in advance, or it's just you two unexpectedly going on a date. a drive around town with the windows open, grabbing a drink at a nearby store and sipping away at conversation, or maybe lounging in bed while watching a movie and cuddled up together. it's the little things, really

he's an absolute sucker for affection. nothing too loud or flashy in public though (though he IS that kind of person), just the simple kiss on the back of your hand, on the lips, forehead, interlocking your hands together, hell, if he could, he's give you piggy back rides if you're feeling tired. he'll laugh at your flustered state though, but not in an insulting way. pickup lines are his forte too, expect one everytime he gives you any affection.

lives? oh he's always waiting for you. he's searching for you in the crowd, sending you a wink your way when he sees you. lord have mercy for all his fans around you, they might fall to their knees... maybe you're one of them too. your congratulations at the end of every live is worth it, so he gives it his all while having fun~

if you asked any crazyb member how he is around, they'd shake their heads and sigh. let's just say he talks about you a lot. a lot a lot. his pride and joy, even

i'm not so sure about how his hometown may react to you, but if rinne chose you, then you must be good to him. so i think they'd allow it. hiiro is very supportive!

- a fun and loving guy. what more could you ask for?

dates are very... fancy? all of them are planned out in advance with your input, don't mind the cost for a second here. of course if you prefer not-so fancy or non-grandiose dates, he'll take that into consideration. each date is almost perfect, suited to your tastes no matter how insane or simple they may be.

...but what about himeru's tastes, you ask? um... well... yeah, himeru would say it's to his tastes too but you can't be so sure right.... either way, he makes sure you know if you're uncomfortable, and he often checks up on you on how you're feeling. feeling ill/sick/tired? take a rest, himeru insists.

with affection, he keeps it on the low publicly. a simple kiss here and there, some words of affirmation and maybe a gentle pat on your shoulder. in private, it used to be exactly the same since he can't really show his feelings well (and probably wants to keep distance) but... soon enough, with a little bit of time... he gets closer. and a bit more affectionate. which means more lingering kisses

he gives it his absolute all during lives. like if he wasn't already then he absolutely is going so hard at lives. does the same thing with rinne, searching for you in the crowd and subtly sending a wink your way. at least like this, he can brush it off as fanservice on camera... but you know it's for you <3

rinne is ecstatic, probably telling you all about what himeru's doing during practices and when you arent around. that one time he smiled at the mention of your name, him stopping by a store he knew you liked on the way to practice... kohaku comments on that too. niki as well.

i guess you really have an effect on him, hm?

stopping by a sweet store for any of your dates is an absolute must. maybe it already came planned in kohaku's date plan, or it was completely impulsive. either way, your dates often end (or start) very sweetly with a good bite of his favorite sweet. he might even give you some of his, if he's feeling extra happy...

not a fan of sweets? that's fine. he'll just quickly buy some for himself

your dates vary, but kohaku always ensures they're safe from any sort of danger to you. he's fine with the thrill, not so much with horror-related attractions, but anything that could potentially hurt you in any way is an absolute no to him. it'll take a whole lot of convincing and proof that what you want to do is (at least somewhat) safe, if you want to go for a more dangerous/risky activity. (don't scare him though, please...)

affection... is a bit tricky on his end. he's fine with you being affectionate, a simple hug or pat on the shoulder is fine (not patting his head though... playing with his hair is OK) and he smiles ever so faintly from it. in public he might get flustered easily at even the idea of giving back that affection (except when he hugs you protectively when the situation calls for it)... but privately, he'll give it all back. a kiss on the cheek, a soft hug... but he prefers showing his love through helping you out more.

if his performance isn't already great, it seemed to get better after he knew you were going to watch? he also sends you a wink, which causes a massive stir around you. i think kohaku barely does fanservice, so imagine your favorite idol literally winking at /you/?! of course everyone goes insane. but that wink was just for you~ (not like you get way more affections back home...)

crazy:b was surprised at first knowing kohaku, the youngest of all three, was the first one out of the three to get a significant other. not himeru though (or at least not visibly.) expect rinne to tease the absolute shit out of both of you, good luck.... oh, and tsukasa? might be doubtful at first, but if his cousin wills it, he is very supportive!

...he might've grown soft at your presence...

dates? you already know where. that restaurant you've both been trying to dine. or maybe walking around town, trying out all the foods people are serving around in small shops. you could make a food blog from all the little things you both have tried (of course, he makes sure to avoid stores that could trigger any food allergies you may have)

or, let's say you both are on a very tight budget. that's fine— niki loves to cook anyway! it doesn't even have to be a date, he'd cook meals for the both of you and even teach you how to cook certain dishes. it doesn't matter if you're bad or good, he'll help out on parts you might stumble on~ and in turn, you can do the same. every meal is served with a plate of food straight from the pan, and each bite is as warm and comforting as him

speaking of warm and comforting, he likes giving hugs the most. whether it'd be from behind, facing each other, being hugged, or consoling you with a hand on your head and an arm wrapped around your waist, he loves it all. he also loves giving other forms of affection, like kisses all around your face and holding your hands. he is the same publicly and privately when it comes to affection, unless for any circumstance where he can't show you love.

sometimes you can notice in lives that niki makes a lot of mistakes in choreography... but that's fine! that's part of his charm~ niki's trying harder though, knowing you're in the crowd... and if he spots you, you can see how his eyes immediately lights up and he might even send a kiss your way. not just a wink, no, a kiss. i wish the best for those around you, they may never recover from niki shiina's flying kiss...

expect rinne to say a lot about niki after announcing your relationship to them. and i mean a lot. a lot lot. niki butts in and quickly tries to divert the conversation sometimes, and kohaku and himeru are just watching. they're supportive despite their silence, don't worry!

HiMERU

🌼 red chrysanthemums: how long does it take for them to say ‘i love you’?

– Takes a while, actually. He doesn't know when to say it. He is unsure whether to even say it to you at all. But he loves you, he loves you so much, and it shows through all his acts of service that he does for you.

You return home from a long day at work, exhausted. But before you could lay down in bed, you remember that you hadn't tidied up the mess you made on the kitchen room table last night. However, when you enter the kitchen, the only thing you find is your lover drinking a cup of tea.

"Welcome back, my love," HiMERU greets you, pulling a chair out of the table for you to sit beside him. He had brewed you a cup as well.

"HiMERU, did you...?" you trail off.

"Yes, all your notes are in this binder," he replies.

You flip through the binder to see that he has organised all your notes to their respectful places.

"You must've had a busy day today," he continues. "Drink up, alright? I'll prepare a bath for you when you're finished here."

You were about to cry at that moment, grateful to be with someone like him, but you sucked it up and sat beside him, leaning your head onto his shoulder as the two of you drank your tea in comfortable silence.

– He wants to tell you that he loves you, he really does, but due to the complexity of his 'character' which is HiMERU, he doesn't think it's right for him to say it.

– But he loves you. The real 'him' loves you.

– Eventually, it isn't HiMERU who tells you this, but you. You take it in your own hands to tell him that you love him, assuring him that you love him and only him, no matter what he thinks of himself.

– Once you tell him those words, he won't be able to contain himself any longer. He'll return those words to you as he holds you tightly.

"(Y/N), I love you more than you could ever know."

🌼 peony: how do they get their s/o to blush? how does their s/o make them blush?

– It's extremely easy to get flustered with HiMERU being your boyfriend. He's a handsome man, sexy even. His performances and charisma on stage show it, and it even makes you blush when you watch them!

– Even off stage, HiMERU is just eye candy. Sometimes he catches you staring at him and you immediately blush. He doesn’t need to do anything for you to get so flustered.

– However, when he does try, all he needs to do is whisper in your ear, telling you nothing but sweet things. He even cups your cheek before planting a kiss on your lips.

– To get him to blush though? Oh, that’s going to be a challenge. He’s a mild-mannered man, and he's able to control his emotions very well. He’s always so calm, so it’s hard to make him blush the way he does it to you.

– The only way to get him to blush is by sleeping. Of course, the constant affection that you give him does make his heart flutter, but you just don't see it in his cheeks. He doesn't blush as much as you, perhaps only a hint of light pink can be seen, but it's not too clear.

– So, by being next to him in bed as you get your good nights rest, HiMERU realises how lucky he is to have you. He's thankful that you came into his life, the way you acknowledge all his flaws, but love him nonetheless. He appreciates how you love him unconditionally. Seeing you sleep next to him so peacefully makes him realise all of that, and he just can't help but blush. He blushes not only because you look beautiful as you're sleeping but because of how beautiful you are as a person.

I did both of your requests in one posts since I find it so cute and perfect! This was really rushed since I had a sudden inspiration and I need to write it down before it ends. We also hit 500 likes yesterday! thank you all for the support, it means so so much to me. I love you all !!

Two Pink Guys..

The sun shines so brightly above you and Niki. You two just finished buying ingredients from the grocery shop for Niki's new special recipe. It was a desert that needed a lot of fruits. You and Niki were walking peacefully on the sidewalk when you noticed a pink cat following behind you. It was unusual to see a pink kitten roaming the busy streets; when you informed Niki about the kitten, he stopped and looked behind him. While doing so, Niki attempted to picture the kitten with a big smile on his face. The kitten suddenly began curling up on your foot, its tail gently waving.

"He seems to like you (Name)-san!" Niki teased before taking a video of the small cute animal curling on your foot, which he then stopped and started patting the kitten on his head. While the kitten was being gentle and kind to you, it reminded you of your boyfriend Kohaku, as well as a risky thought entered your mind as you stared at the kitten.

"I wanna take you home kitty!"

You gently trail your fingers on the back of the kitten, smiling ever so slightly when you hear it purr in amusement. Luckily you have a spare paper bag that you can safely put the kitten in, you did that and the small pink thing looked a bit startled by the sudden movement but then calmed down when you put him inside of the paper bag. You give him a sweet smile then tilt your head towards Niki.

Niki laughs after taking a small peek inside the paper bag. "The kitten looks so cute inside the paper bag!" He laughs again before picking up the grocery bags. "Are you sure you want to take that home? Kohaku would be so surprised!" Niki inquired, gesturing you to follow him. You gladly obliged and followed him with a smile on your lips, returning your gaze to the kitten and nodding.

"Of course! Kohaku will be surprised when he sees the kitten! It looks a lot like him!" you replied cheerfully, and Niki nodded in agreement. "Now that you mention it, it does look like Kohaku-kun" he replied as you both crossed a pedestrian lane. Before you left, you walked Niki home and gave him a thumbs up as a good luck for his special recipe before you went home too. Once you arrived at your home, you took a small peak at the kitten who was now curiously looking around the paper bag, a giggle escaped your mouth and poke the kitten's head gently.

You then open the door creating a small squeak from it, you remove your shoes then place them properly on the shoe stand. After that you heard a slight noise coming from the paper bag, you tilted your head to your right and saw that the cat was out of the bag. It was now walking towards the living room where you saw a familiar pink-head sleeping on the couch, his sleeping figure covered by your blanket. Your heart almost melted at the scene and let out a giggle of amusement, you carefully crouched down to pick up the kitten and put it on top of Kohaku's chest.

The sudden heaviness in Kohaku's chest jolted him awake, and he opened his eyes to be met by the kitten's eyes staring back at him. Kohaku's eyes widen slightly as he notices the kitten and cautiously rises from his position then sat on the couch, the kitten now sitting on his lap. Kohaku's eyes wandered around the room before coming to a halt when he heard faint laughter behind the closed door. "(Name)? is this some kind of prank?" the pink-headed boy crossed his arm, but his gaze softened when he noticed the kitten purring slightly on his lap.

You walk out of your hiding spot and look at the two pink guys interacting with each other, Kohaku was patting the cat with his hand with a mixed up expression. You carefully sat beside him with a smile on your lips. "That was a way to wake you up" you teased, giggling slightly as the kitten slowly made its way to your lap. "He looks fairly like you so I brought him home.." you let out a small laugh and pat the pink-furred kitten who appears to be more comfortable with you. "You're not wrong, the pink fur he has is almost the same color as mine-"

You carefully pick up the kitten and place it close to Kohaku's cheeks; the kitten curiously licks his cheeks, causing him to blush instantly. His cheeks had turned a light red, making it impossible not to pinch them. You placed the kitten on Kohaku's lap and began pinching both of his cheeks with your hands, a smirk on your lips. "(N-name)! That was unexpected.." He said, slightly flustered, his cheeks turning redder by the second. "Your cheeks are just so squishy! I just want to bite it!" you teased as you giggled and gently pinched his cheeks.

Kohaku gave up and let you gently pinch his cheeks; you then kissed him on the cheek to tease him even more, and you got the reaction you wanted. As the kitten peacefully lays on Kohaku's lap, ignoring both you and Kohaku's antics, your laughter and his denials begin to fill the air. Who knows, maybe this will be a day to remember. Perhaps you can use this day in the future to tease Kohaku.

HOW YOU END UP ON A DATE WITH THEM

ft. kiryu kuro, sakuma rei, shiina niki

You’re set up on a blind date, except it starts out terribly–with you getting stood up. You are going to be having words with your friends about this later.

Kuro sees you sitting alone and ends up pretending to be your date in an attempt to save you from the crushing embarrassment he can see you stewing in. When he strolls over to you, the relief in your eyes is palpable and he doesn’t have the heart to brush you off after that.

He ends up taking you to a nearby fair. You stroll past various game stalls, where he makes multiple attempts to win you the plushies you’d been eyeing. He feels a sense of accomplishment when your eyes brighten at the sight of the cuddly soft toy in his arms, but there’s still that underlying guilt. He feels as though he’s somehow having taken advantage of you, even when you clutch the plushie to your chest. It intensifies when you insist on buying him a snack as thanks. Later, when he walks you home hand-in-hand under the stars, he can’t take it anymore, and it’s right there at your doorstep that Kuro confesses that he’s not your actual date.

You admit, a little embarrassed, that you knew all along–your friends weren’t foolish enough to leave you without a few descriptors of your supposed date–but you were having so much fun with him that you felt there was no right moment to let him know. You bow and tell him you’re sorry for taking advantage of him, keeping your gaze fixed on your feet.

There’s a moment of silence where you avoid eye-contact, when you hear a low chuckle.

“If ya liked this one so much,” Kuro gives you a crooked smile. “Then how ‘bout we go on another one. This Saturday work for ya? I’ll pick ya up at 8?”

You nod, a little flustered. Just before he leaves, he presses a quick kiss to your cheek and adds, “Oh, and this time? I’m your actual date~”

You and Rei get set up on the same blind date, something which was clearly Kaoru’s fault. After all, he’s the only point of contact between your friend group and Rei’s. You will be getting him back for this.

It’s a little awkward at first, when you sit at Café Cinnamon bored out of your mind, and look up to see the Sakuma Rei, ½ of UNDEAD’s main attractions, lowering himself to sit in the seat opposite you.

At your flabbergasted look, Rei lets out a nervous chuckle and says, “I think this might be my seat, Y/N-kun?” which answers absolutely nothing of the 50-plus questions swirling around in your brain.

However, as the date does go smoothly, despite your reservations. The two of you are able to have conversations, about work, about life after graduation, about your hobbies, and it ends up showing that you two have quite a lot in common! It’s actually–dare you say it–fun. Talking to Rei is nice. He’s an interesting conversation partner, filled with anecdotes about abroad, and you can tell he feels the same way about you.

You end up staying much longer than you were expecting. The Rei of UNDEAD differs quite a bit from the Rei you’ve come to know over the course of these few hours, and it’s interesting, learning where they overlap and where they separate. Who can blame you for wanting to stay longer? When a pretty boy gives you his undivided attention and listens to you ramble on about your latest hyperfixations, well…that kind of thing can make anyone’s ego swell.

The date comes to a close with a brief argument over who pays for the date, which you win, of course. Hesitantly, you turn to Rei as you add that, “You can pay for the next one, ‘kay, Sakuma-kun?” which is followed by a blink, and a goofy smile spreading across the self-proclaimed vampire’s face.

“Kukuku, but of course, Y/N-kun. It would be this old man’s pleasure to take you out again~”

It isn’t an uncommon occurrence for you to be invited to go out on a date with Niki, except neither of you realise it’s a date. You call it a ‘friendly outing’, both inside your head and to others, and are treated to a lot of skeptical glances from your friends who aren’t quite certain if you’re pulling a fast one on them or if you’re just that stupid.

You’ve been on many of these ‘outings’ before, usually consisting of the two of you going window shopping where you hold hands and point out cute things that you think he’d like–or that you wish you could buy–followed by a date at a cook-your-own-meal restaurant where Niki takes the reins and conducts the meal with the skill of a chef. He feeds you the food he’s grilling, and it’s cute, honestly. You give off the vibes of a domestic couple, what with the way you eagerly light up as Niki holds his chopsticks to your mouth and how naturally you hold Niki’s hair out of his eyes so he can better see what he’s doing.

You go on like that for quite some time, actually, until some old lady chances upon the two of you strolling past and comments on what a “cute couple you two make”. She coos over you for a bit longer before going on her own merry way, oblivious to the bombshell she’s just dropped.

It’s then you start to realise that, yes, this does qualify as a date and the two of you have basically been dating already for the past few weeks.

After you get over the initial embarrassment, you realise there’s no need to act like this is your first date because, it’s not. You’ve basically been speedrunning the date process. At this point, you’ve practically been dating for over a month, which explains all the raised eyebrows from your friends. Oh, you’re never living this down, are you…?

You huffed angrily as you continue to mindlessly scroll down your phone, still standing right next to the man who was in all of his glory eating the crêpe he had bought with your money that he had lost.

Rinne glances back at you ever so slightly only to realize that when you said you were pissed off at him, you really did meant it this time because you hadn't talked to him at all in the past 30 minutes.

But, he'll admit — it is his fault this time. He fucked up big time, he should've paid more attention to your wallet but what can he even do now?

You were mad at him for losing your wallet and yourself for even trust him with it in the first place and now you're both stuck there until some kind person finds you your wallet and gives it back to you.

You're just praying that it isn't in someone else's house right now since you had quite a lot of money in there along with important stuffs.

He glances back at you one last time, now feeling a bit guilty for losing your wallet. He knows apologizing will not do anything, but he wants to make you feel better somehow about this.

He leans onto you slightly, his head nearly making contact with yours in a playful manner.

"C'mon, baby. I'm sorry, 'kay? I know I fucked up big time, but this won't happen ever again." He sighed, trying to make himself sound as sad as possible now that he sees you're still ignoring him. "The least you could do is say something t' me, yer so cruel for ignoring me, y'know..." He sobbed out fake tears.

"Rinne Amagi, you lost my fucking wallet!" You snapped back angrily as you tried to push his heavy ass away from you.

"But it was an honest mistake! Even someone like me can make mistakes, y'know?"

"An "honest mistake"...?! You're an honest mistake!" You huffed out angrily one last time before finally pushing him away from you before turning your back on him out of anger.

He sighed quietly, looking at you with a visible frown on his face, the ice cream inside the crêpe soon beginning to melt due to being left out for too long, but he didn't even felt like eating it right now.

He had bought it for you both, thinking it would be kind and romantic for him to share it with you even though he used your money to buy it, but it was clear you wanted nothing to do with him right now. And to think that he bought your favorite flavor too even though he doesn't like it.

He sighs in defeat as he looks away from you and mindlessly ate the last bits of the crêpe while his free hand subconsciously finding its way towards you and fiddled with your fingers innocently, as if he did not just lost your wallet.

You huffed out in annoyance, watching his fingers intertwined with yours. Despite how annoyed you are with him right now, you didn't made any move on pushing his hands away from yours at all.

You don't know what he's trying to do, but he's dead wrong if he thinks he can just fix this whole thing up by holding your hand.

... But still, it's kind of cute. You guess.

Silence enveloped the two of you once again as he quietly finishes off the crêpe all by himself as he fiddles with your fingers innocently before trapping them in his hands — he has no intention of letting go of your hand anytime soon now.

"I'm really sorry for losing your wallet, 'kay? I'll get ya the plush you wanted at the arcade after we find yer wallet." He said, holding onto your hand tightly with a face showing visible guilt for what he had done.

You huffed, squeezing his hand slightly. You were obviously still mad at him, but you couldn't stay mad at him for long either, and it was a change of pace to finally see him taking full responsibility for once.

"You better, dumbass."

He nods as he places a quick kiss on your forehead as an apology while his free hand went to pat at the rear pocket of his pants and felt something familiar to a wallet.

How strange, he swears he didn't bring his wallet with him at all today.

... Or —

He patted on it multiple of times before finally pulling it out of his pocket, and lo and behold — it was your wallet within his hands.

Rinne was more shocked than you were because he was sure that he had lost it and it wasn't with him the whole time. He doesn't even know whether to feel relieved or not right now.

"W-well... Look at that! Our case's solved, ya have your wallet back!"

"Rinne Amagi." You spat out his name in a rather threatening manner as you look at him dead in the eyes.

"Hey, at least we don't hafta waste our time lookin' around for this thing anymore!" He tried to reason with you, but it only leads to him having his ear pulled by you.

"Hey, thanks for helping me out with this again, Doll." Rinne said, fidgeting in place as he waits for you to finish applying his stage makeup.

You click your tongue at him, "I told you not to move! Do you want your eyeliner to be smudged?"

"... Isn't that what it's supposed to look like, though?" Rinne cocked his head to the side, smirking.

Looking back to the reference photo from the Helter-Spider performance, you frown. "What? No. That's the eyeshadow."

"Riiight..." Rinne rolled his eyes before he adjusted his seated position - wanting to get a little more comfortable so he could stay still. However, a thought had been nagging in the back of his head ever since he asked you for help on this look. "... Ugh, you'd think after me comin' here and workin' so hard to be an idol I'd get used to all of the beauty product stuff, but there's something about it that just doesn't click with me."

You offer him a reassuring smile, "It's not everyone's forte! It just takes practice, like everything else does. You already have the basics down... drawing a whole spiderweb on your own face can be a little tricky. I don't think you should be embarrassed."

Rinne opened his mouth for a moment, then promptly closed it again - his cheeks heating up as you got close to his face.

Ever so gently, you take his head in your hand, caressing his cheek before tilting it to the side. "Close your eyes for me?"

"Perfect... Good boy," You coo, uncapping your eyeliner pen and beginning to draw over his eyelid.

A small, flustered grumble manages to slip out of Rinne's lips, but he manages to stay still and let you do your work. After the first few strokes, he seems to relax a bit further.

Rinne would never openly admit this, but... he really does like getting this kind of pampering from you. Your expertise when it comes to make-up, having so much personal attention just on him, and the feeling of your hand cradling his jaw... it's all so soothing.

"You know what, Rinne?" You start, smiling at his tranquil looking face.

"... You know that I don't, Doll." Rinne replied, a small smile growing on his lips. "Other than... you love me?"

You chuckle, "Close." you whisper into his ear, playfully blowing on it. "I’m always thinking about that… What I actually was thinking was that I hope you never get better at applying your own makeup."

Rinne's eyes shoot open, his face turning a bright red from your teasing. "Huh?! The hell are you talkin' about?!"

“Well,” You give him a cheeky smile, kissing his cheek, "That way... whenever Crazy:B’s makeup artist cancels, I get to get up close and personal with the man I love."

Absolutely scandalized, Rinne nearly falls out of his chair, covering his cheek with his hand. "H-Hey! That’s playing dirty! No k-"

"No kissing before marriage? Yeah, yeah... you've said it before. Though..." You put the cap back onto your eyeliner and placed it on the counter. "I don't recall you complaining about my kisses last night..."

💪🏽 - Bridal carry [Reader Receiver]

As you often enjoy doing, you had invited Rinne out to go on a shopping date. The two of you always have a good time together, trying on outfits and looking through all sorts of stores just to windowshop.

One of the (many, many...) things you love about Rinne is that he never shies away from showing what he likes, and what he wants. Whenever you see something catch his eye, you take little mental notes for future gifts. Rinne’s always in charge of carrying the bags on these little shopping dates of yours, but it’s a small price to pay for all the gifts you end up treating him to.

Just then, a wave of dizziness hits you, causing you to stumble forward for a moment before you catch yourself. “Ugh…” You cover your eyes with you palm for a moment – hoping the light-headed feeling will pass… even though you know it won’t. You seem to be having the start of a fainting spell.

“You doing okay, Doll?” Rinne asked, noticing your wobbly stance.

“Yeah, yeah… just a little clumsy – you know me! Too busy looking at my handsome boyfriend…” You fib, not wanting to cause him any concern.

Before you stumble again, your knees buckling, Rinne quickly reaches out to hold you upright. “You sure you’re doing okay, Doll?” he asked, concern reflected in his gaze.

You hesitate, not exactly sure if you want to tell Rinne the truth… it’d end your date early. Still, you’re in no condition to keep walking, especially not in the hot sun. “I… um…” you begin, embarrassment starting to settle in.

Not letting you continue, Rinne effortlessly lifts you up into his arms. “Y’know what, Doll? I decided I’m bored with shopping. Let’s head back to Niki’s and see if we can raid his fridge.” he winked at you, grinning.

As Rinne carried you through ES, you couldn’t help but feel a mix of embarrassment and warmth. With your head resting against his chest, you could hear the steady beat of his heart.

Once you arrive to the familiar apartment building, Rinne shifts both you and the copious shopping bags he had been carrying around so he can get his key to Niki’s apartment out of his pocket. Before he places the key into the lock, Rinne looks down at you – smiling. “… Don’t worry, Doll. I’ve always got ya.”

– Moderately jealous, but of course, he hides this part of him from you. He thinks these feelings are unnecessary as he continues to keep up his composed and reserved nature. If he trusts you, then he won't be too worried. After all, he can see clearly how much you love him.

– So, if you're no longer paying attention to him but to another, he won't say anything. He'll keep his cool demeanour and let you speak to the guy until you're finished.

– But there may be times these feelings outweigh his maturity. He's not going to be mad at you, in fact, he'll be really gentle with you. He'll confide in you calmly about his jealousy, hoping you'll understand.

– Your relationship is built on communication and understanding. What a healthy relationship indeed!

🌼 honeysuckle: if their s/o was hurt, what would they do?

– As expected, he'll keep calm. First, he'll ask you if you're okay, comforting you if needed. Then he'll attend to your wounds, gently applying ointment to your skin and placing a plaster on it.
