throwing my opinion in here. i really only like roleswap/arcana swap/whatever if they're well thought out and more importantly actually work in the context of the media. like you can absolutely switch hamuko and aigis in p3 and the story still works adn their characterization can still show through despite the change in the narrative. but switch harry and kim in disco elysium? thats not the same story. or even the same character at all. which i know is kinda the point but like thats unrecognizable

i think it really depends for me when it comes to other games and the like. i'm not sure how to describe it rn tho,, got a headache
