You know what, before code purple the dads and the kids had to live with the doodler right? Like the whole point was the doodler was in Earth and not the other place (faerune?) so they went to the other place later, so everything that the other place is going through rn the kids, let me say that again, the kids had to go through too right? So I mean, can you blame them? They did save everyone on earth if that’s what happened, and I mean think of what they went through during the forgotten realms, it was 2 maybe more generations of shitty, neglectful, abusive, bad fathers that lead them there, the trauma, the pain, the near death experiences, that was all because their fathers weren’t good enough, and their grandfathers weren’t good enough, and so on so fourth! So don’t you think that might’ve influenced their parenting a bit? Maybe might’ve put more pressure than need be on their shoulders to be good dads? I’m not trying to say that dooming an entire dimension to the Doodlers bs is okay, I’m just saying I get where they’re coming from and I think a lot of people would’ve done the same in their situation
