PLANETARY ASPECTS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY
Let’s us understand the aspect first in non-technical way and then astrologically.
When we were in school then one can always remember that there was a teacher who speaks very less but his / her eyes use to speak.
When we use to talk then his / her one glance on us was like warning to stop talking and pay attention in class lecture.
So here one can understand that the aspect of the teacher on the student change the behavior of that student and draw his attention towards the lecture and the student stop misbehaving as he is under the aspect of the teacher’s attention.
When we go in any ashram or any holy places then if any saint or yogi see us then we feel blessed and happy in our heart because we got caught by the sight / dristi of a holy person.
We get scared when any criminal sees us and we get tension and worry as they can harm us.
In the same way in planetary aspects of Vedic astrology all the planets are have 7th aspect / dristi but there are few special planet which have some extra dristi / aspect apart from the regular 7th aspect.
Mars got 4th , 7th and 8th aspect.
Saturn got 3rd, 7th and 10th aspect.
Jupiter got 5th , 7th and 9th aspect.
Mars and Saturn are malefic planet and Jupiter is benefic planet in Vedic astrology.
The nature of functional benefic and malefic keeps on changing as per the position of the horoscope. According to KP Vedic astrology the significances decide the functionality of a planet.
So, a planet with good significance aspecting a weak negative planet will strengthen that planet to perform positively and minimize the negativity of it and vise versa.
When a planet aspect on another planet then it also imparts its qualities on that planet and thus change its usual normal nature, be it positive or negative in either ways.
The aspects of the planet give its impact on the houses also, be it positive or negative.
Let’s understand with an example :
It is seen that Saturn in 5th house of a vedic horoscope delay or deny marriage. Saturn being a very big planet does have the capability to give such impact.
It is known that Saturn has 3 aspects / dristi i.e the 3rd, 7th and the 10th. When Saturn is positioned in 5th house then its 3rd aspect is on 7th house which is house of marriage, the 7th aspect is on 11th house which is know as the house of fulfillment of wishes and the 10th aspect is on 2nd house which signify family in a horoscope.
So due to Saturn’s aspect / dristi on the 7th house of the horoscope it creates hurdles and thus delay the matter of marriage or completely deny it. ( this is in general, an observation )
Saturn’s aspect / dristi on the 11th house delay the wishes or completely deny the wish.
Saturn’s aspect / dristi on the 2nd house delay in making a family or deny for making a new family or adding a member to the family.
Like wise there are positive effects also from the aspects.
Readers should understand that Vedic astrology is very very complex subject and aspect / dristi is one of the parameters while making an analysis for a prediction so one should not jump with the gun only by studying the aspects.
Delhi abhi bhi bahut dur hai / Katmandu is very far. This is a dialogue and not Vedic astrology ha ha ha ha ha . . . . . .

IMPACT OF EXALTED PLANET IN A VEDIC HOROSCOPE
A planet in Vedic horoscope can either be exalted, debilitated or neutral as per their placements in that horoscope.
Generally, there is a feeling or understand that an exalted planet in a horoscope will always give good results. Its because when we study Vedic astrology in general it is said so. But as one proceeds further in their studies in Vedic astrology then he finds that astrology in general gives only an understand but that is not the final prediction. So is with the exalted planet in a horoscope also in a horoscope.
According to KP Vedic astrology a planet gives results of the nakshatra lord it is placed in and the planet itself becomes the source and the sublord shows us the quality of the event.
So based on this dictum one can understand that exalted planet need not always give only positive and good results. It can also give negative and bad results.
This is because the significance of an exalted planet also depends on the conjunction with other planets, aspects / dristi and the sublord of that planet. If the significance is not encouraging then the results given by the exalted planet will give bad results.
One thing is definite that an exalted planet will give its results powerfully and then be it positive or negative as per the significance of the planet for an event.

UNDERSTANDING MALEFIC PLANET IN KENDRA, MY VIEW WITH A TWIST
Vedic astrology is a complex shastra and not every answer is a straight forward one.
The prediction in a horoscope is cumulations of many small parameters which are weaved together to interpret a meaning and that’s we call prediction.
In Vedic horoscope analysis there are natural malefic and functional malefic.
A functional malefic planet can be a natural benefic planet also Eg Jupiter.
So in Vedic astrology when a malefic planet is located in the kendra ( 1, 4, 7 and 10th house ) then it will give its impact on that house but it cannot be guaranteed that it will give full negative results only.
A natural malefic planet can be a functional benefic planet and so it will give good results apart from it natural negative nature.
According to KP Vedic astrology padhatti / system a planet is considered negative when it signifies negative houses according to the demand of the event.
It need not be always that the planet needs to signify only 6,8 and 12th house to be negative.
Not going much into teaching, if a negative planet is there in the Kendra then it will spoil the signification of that house ( a single house shows many events ). The aspects / dristi of planet will also give its impact on the houses it aspect. Example Mars has 4,7 and 8th aspect / dristi.
Now there is a catch and that is not every person will experience the same impact / results of a same malefic planet in a same position. It will differ from person to person as the nature of the planet can get altered due to conjunction with other planet, aspect from a benefic planet, degree of the planet and the current ruling mahadasha period.
One can learn the actual impact of a malefic planet only after studying the horoscope from all the angles as just saying that a negative planet in the kendra will always give negative results is absolutely untrue.
Astrology is really complex shastra. What looks to be a easy prediction, I gave a twist and now you are etching your head ha ha ha ha . . . .

CAN SATURN MAHADASHA CAUSE A DELAY IN A CAREER WHEN SATURN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE 10TH HOUSE
It is a wrong believe that Saturn always delays an event in a person’s life as it is a slow-moving planet.
In fact if its Saturn then it will always give the thing on correct time only so that one do not misuse the actions of that event.
In vedic astrology all planets are good and all planets are bad and all planets are neutral. So it would be wrong to say that Saturn will not delay an event like job if it has nothing to do with 10th house ( house of profession ).
As per KP vedic astrology the cuspal sublord of the 10th house decide the destiny of our profession.
If the 10th cuspal sublord signify good houses then one will have good fortune in his profession and if it signify bad houses then one will find hurdles and deceive from getting benefits from his profession and the cause of it can be because of any planet as per his horoscope.
It is not specific that a same planet will be the significator of profession in all horoscope. It will differ from horoscope to horoscope as per the placements of the planets in that horoscope.
There are many parameters that influence the nature on the outcome of the significance of the 10th cuspal sublord. For example the conjunctions with other planets will give its impact on the significations, the dristi / aspect will also give its impact on the significations etc etc.
The current mahadasha ruling period on that time also plays a vital role in giving its impact on the significance as it decide the time of delivery of an event that its signifying during its ruling period.
For example if a person has good significance of his 10th house cuspal sublord but going thru a bad significance mahadasha period then that person will face some hurdles or bit hard time in his profession during the mahadasha ruling period. ( antardasha period is not considered, its only for understanding, please note that ).
In a nutshell, saturn should not be considered as a delay making planet if it is not connected with the 10th house of profession, some other planet also can give such negative impact.
