tina i will warn you, despite what my url might tell you, i have sincerely not watched an anime since 2017. maayyyyybe early 2018. here is a rec list from my hazy memories tho 

haikyuu — volleyball babies :’) ★★★★★noragami — ok i won’t lie there are some parts of this that make me go :| but the plot is really intriguing and i kept up with the manga for a while. also the intros of this HIT ★★★★☆kuroko no basket — yes this is a basketball anime. yes they also have superpowers somehow. it’s best if you don’t question it tho. ★★★★☆free! — this is the swimming anime and (as much as i clearly love sports anime) it never rly had a hold on me like the others. it was pretty popular tho and i remember one or two episodes being fairly entertaining ★★★☆☆bungou stray dogs — ok LISTEN… this is another one where you just have to suspend your beliefs a little bit. like yes theyre all named after famous authors. yes they also have superpowers. but it truly was peak entertainment for me ★★★★★devilman crybaby — this anime was stupid. i’ll say it. but i remember a mutual’s art made me want to watch it. then another mutual’s graphic really made me want to watch it. so i guess the real clown here is me… i remember it being like? really weird and nsfw? and oddly graphic tho? so maybe don’t watch this actually. ★★★☆☆boku no hero academia — ok i wont lie i stopped watching this around hm… the internship arc iirc? and a lot of parts definitely made me :/ like, for example, mineta’s entire existence… if you close your eyes enough it’s good, but you have to be willing to put up with weird shit. also more superpowers. ★★★☆☆shokugeki no souma — this was probably the dumbest thing i ever watched.. BUT. i will admit the food animation was nice. there was weirdly sexual groaning though? like every time they ate a new dish they’d be like euuughh this is soo delicious!! like. bro that’s not necessary. just say it tastes good. but i mean,, you can watch this if you want (for the food ONLY), just don’t expect a good plot or even good characters. ★★☆☆☆yuuri on ice — listen,,, just typing the name of this gave me an aneurysm, i’m not gonna lie. this is a good anime… it is.. it’s just….. you really do have to fight a terrible war if you ever want to go through the tag. there is some weird shit in there. so if you watch this,,, do not invest yourself deeply. you will be tempted, but don’t do it. just take it from a war veteran. ★★★★☆ballroom e youkoso — this is just a fun sports anime about ballroom dancing. really nothing else about it. i dont remember the ending and idk if i ever finished it but i remember it being alright ★★★☆☆
