do you think vanessa might finally ditch rhona as a friend soon? rhona treated her in such a shitty way lately and I feel like the whole ‘don’t tell marlon’ thing next week might become a bigger issue between them. and then there’s charity being a suspect in graham’s murder case which has to cause tension between them in one way or another. like what if rhona is the reason the police consider her a suspect in the first place? that would be interesting to watch.. sorry just my wishful thinking.
OOOOOH that’s interesting. They did make a point of having Rhona there when Charity threatened to kill Graham if he came near her kids again. I don’t think any of that will have a lasting effect on their friendship unless Charity ends up being the actual killer because nothing has consequences on Emmerdale and people joke around with their attempted-murderers all the time (looking at you Jai), but I’d love to see an argument between Vanessa and Rhona! How Rhona has been so blind about Graham of all people is beyond me!
Ask 2: What do you think about Charity’s comment about Cara being her kind of woman? Ngl I thought it was a bit disrespectful with Vanessa sitting right there.
Ask 3: Charity straight up said she fancied Cara right in front of Vanessa and she didn't even care. Weird. I'm just so annoyed that the writers all write Charity differently. It's like they haven't figured out who she is. I get whiplash from watching her, it's like she has multiple personalities. This is one thing that has bothered me for a long time and it stresses me out. They always use her for plot in other peoples stories (Cains) and they always write her weirdly in those.
The Cara comment literally didn’t bother me at all?! And I’ve seen comments about Charity cheating with Cara and I was like????????????? That’s a tad much? First of all, I didn’t really take “she’s my kind of woman” to literally mean she’d be into her, but that they were like-minded women? And anyway, I don’t see the problem in saying you admire another woman. People lost their shit when Charity seemed interested in the Uptown Hunks and it never crossed my mind that she had actually meant it? I don’t know. Maybe I’m too naive.
Ask 4: Next time Michelle goes on a month long holiday they should have Vanessa move away and then come back. Like she gets a job offer somewhere else. Decides to move away with Charity and the kids. Obviously there's drama where Charity's like we can't move and Vanessa's like I only get this chance once. The day they are supposed to move Charity says she can't because she can't leave her home and family begging Vanessa to stay.Vanessa goes anyway leaving Charity (lots of angst and drama). She then comes back one month later walks in to the pub says she can't live without Charity etc.. Charity is angry and won't hear anything she has to say. Vanessa has to work really hard to win her back (lots of angst and drama) They obviously get back together in the end
We found a masochist among us. But really, if well-written that sl could be fantastic. If not done at all, I’d read the fanfiction!

BELLE OF THE BALL Emmerdale’s Jamie Tate will fall for Belle Dingle on return to soap says Kim Tate actress Claire King
The actress is set to welcome her on-screen son in the coming days
EMMERDALE star Claire King has teased that there will be a blossoming romance between her on-screen son Jamie Tate and Belle Dingle.
The actress plays Kim Tate on the ITV soap and is set to welcome Jamie, played by Alexander Lincoln, in the coming days, two decades since the character was last portrayed on the show.
Speaking about Jamie’s impending arrival to the Dales, Claire hinted that Belle, played by Eden Taylor-Draper, has a thing for him.
She coyly told Digital Spy: “Belle has got a little interest in him.”
The comments come after we revealed that Jamie is left horrified to see his mum Kim in Emmerdale village when he is tricked into moving there.
In his first interview since joining the soap, actor Alexander has revealed his character won’t be happy when he realises his evil mother Kim has manipulated him into moving to the village.
Alexander said: “The job vacancy came up and he saw an opportunity and wanted to go. And he thought Kim was in prison so it seemed like a great opportunity and then it turns out…
“He doesn’t expect to see her at all, thinks she’s still in prison. Under the circumstances it’s pure shock a bit of frustration as he wanted to start a new life, admittedly back in the village, but stay away from Kim’s ways.”
Alexander added: “Jamie is in his last year of vets school and he’s estranged from his more.
“He’s more innocent and naive than Kim and really doesn’t want anything to do with her.”
Jamie is horrified when he sees his mother is in the village and orchestrated his return.
And unlike his on-the-run nephew Joe, Jamie has no relationship with Kim’s right-hand man Graham Foster.
Alexander added: “Jamie sees him as an extension of Kim. He’s just a paid-for butler, there is no real relationship there. No love lost.”
But the actor, who is making his television debut as Jamie, is definitely happy to be considered the show’s new eye candy.
He added: “I didn’t know it would be [the village hunk] I didn’t even know that was a possibility.
“I mean yeah, it’s great. I’ll take it, that’s fine, absolutely. I’ve got a lot to live up to I think buy yeah it’s great, good feeling.”

WHAT A SOAP STAR! EastEnders’ Eve Unwin star has had roles on Corrie AND Emmerdale – but do you recognise her?
EASTENDERS' Eve Unwin star has had roles on Coronation Street AND Emmerdale - but do you recognise her?
Actress Heather Peace, 46, made her first appearance on the BBC soap on Friday night as Stacey Slater's new wife.
Last week the cleaner told her ex Martin Fowler that she tied the knot in prison.
Stacey was locked up after Ruby Allen accused Stacey of shoving her down the stairs and deliberately causing her miscarriage, but has since then returned to the Square.
Heather made her first dramatic appearance on the hit show last week when she punched Zack Hudson in the face in The Prince Albert.
During the episode she overheard the hunk talking to Nancy Carter and assumed that he was Stacey's ex Martin Fowler.
"That's payback for Ruby from Stacey," she shouted after whacking him in the face.
This isn't the first time that Heather has appeared on our screens in a soap.

I love Robron, they literally make emceed ale the best soap. When I saw Robert speaking to the guy, I noticed he might be the new guy that is staying in emmerdale at least for awhile. "Aidan O’Callaghan joins soap as a mystery hunk set to cause a ‘stir’ for two favourites. The most exciting part for me was that I got to play an Irish character on it". This was from a news report on emmerdale a week or so ago. If they make him a character like Rebecca or Alex. I will hate him the same as Vanessa.
Honestly that just sounds like the media and the actor himself trying to big it up when really he isn't all that also wasn't that an article by the Irish media that the Sun?? then picked up. I'm pretty sure he isn't going to be anything more than a guy in a club who talks to Robert.

Iain MacLeod on Robron future & new upcoming character.
Emmerdale will soon have a hunky new male character striding about the Yorkshire village. Possibly wearing wellies.
Soap boss Iain MacLeod tells us: “There’s a big story that will be rooted in the Dingle family that will require a sexy young thing to appear but I can’t say too much more. It’s a new, brooding male lead.”
The hunk, who is yet to be cast, will join the show in September. There is some worry that he is being brought in to break up Robron (that’s Robert and Aaron, for the uninitiated).
But fear not, despite all their ups and downs, the pair are destined to see out their days together.
MacLeod says an hour-long special next month will see their future as a couple left hanging in the balance.
He reveals: “I’m as anxious as everyone else to see Robert and Aaron have a happy ending but the best soap couples are the ones with inbuilt conflict and the ones who make mistakes, make-up, break-up and hurt each other.
“But in two, three, five years’ time, will Robert and Aaron be together? Yes, is the answer to that.”
On the sensitive topic of Rhona’s rape by hideous husband Pierce, which drew complaints, MacLeod is unrepentant. “I totally stand by it,” he says. There’s always the off button, remember.

Who is playing Jamie Tate? When is he back in Emmerdale?
TV newcomer Alexander Lincoln will play the grown-up James who is estranged from his mean mum and has not been in touch with her for some time. Back in 1999 he fled with Kim (Claire King) in a helicopter, and returns to his childhood home in the coming weeks making what is promised to be an explosive entrance – but there is no love lost between the relatives.
“Jamie basically wants nothing to do with Kim,” says Lincoln. “He comes to the village to start a new job (his half-sister Zoe used to run the veterinary practice) and doesn’t even know his mum is out of prison. She tries to bring him back into the fold, even though he wants to distance himself from her and the Tate legacy.
“Unlike Kim, Jamie is innocent and naïve. He’s a good guy and is constantly saying he’s not like his mum, but can be easily manipulated by her.”
Kim is desperate to make amends with her boy and their relationship will show a rare vulnerability in the village vixen – has motherhood mellowed the minx? And could the bad blood mean he turns out to be her greatest foe?
Lincoln fills the posh totty vacancy left by Porteous, who departed last year, but he’s taking it in his stride. “I’ve been called the new village hunk which I didn’t even know was a possibility, but I’ll take it!” laughs the actor, who is embarking on his first major TV part after playing roles in some UK feature films and co-running his own production company, Lowkey Films.
But don't expect Jamie to automatically pick up where Joe left off and become the next love interest for Charley Webb's character Debbie Dingle, whose heart was broken by Joe - the actress reckons it's too obvious for Jamie to fill his step nephew's shoes. "I don’t think she’d go near him after everything that’s happened with Kim turning up and destroying her life and what happened to Joe. To go for her son would just be stupid - though maybe she could turn the tables, strings him along only to dump him!”
