The Christmas markets in Manchester were magical, you really loved exploring around the markets and you just couldn't wait to grab a bite to eat.

"It is lovely here, not too many people which is good because I dislike people pushing me out the way" you laughed as both you and Christian both agreed as you were certainly not in the mood for that. "Fancy a hot chocolate while we walk around the stalls?" he asked as he wandered over to the stall already without you even answering him. "A white hot chocolate for you, my love" he grinned as he passed over the warm cup as you wrapped your hands around it, slightly warming you up. "Thank you, ooh look at those decorations. They are so cute, maybe we should get some for the tree. When we eventually put the tree up" you hinted. "Hm is that a hint that you want the tree up" he laughed as you nodded convincingly. "Maybe it was, maybe" he rolled his eyes as you paid for your decorations. "Do you want to go ice skating? It seems proper quiet" you asked Christian as you knew he would hate it. "Oh okay" Christian let out a nervous little laugh. "Come on babe, let's go" you smiled as you took his hand tightly as you tried your hardest as you went on the ice not to take Christian down with you. As you tried to move a little bit faster, Christian grabbed your arm as tightly as he possibly could. Not letting go at all. "Chris" you laughed as you watched him wobble, losing his balance. "Shh I can't do this, I am going to break my ankle. The gaffer is going to absolutely scream and kill me if I fall over" he shouted as he gripped your arm so tightly he could barely move it. "I don't think ice skating is for me" he mumbled as you watched as he climbed off of the ice and threw his skates off. "No I don't think it is, come on babe let's go and do something else" he laughed as you handed your ice skates back.

So my idea for Chris would be some kind of angst to smut depending on if you were comfortable. (I know he didn't sign for United in January but say he signed on deadline day) y/n is fuming he's signed for them and not speaking to him. But y/n can't stay angry at him for too long and they make up 🙏

I have no idea if this is what you wanted but I had a go at it.

It wasn’t even the fact that he had signed for a new club, in a new country. It was the fact that he hadn’t even told you that he was in conversation or even considering a move and you thought that the two of you would always talk about things like that. After all, it did kind of concern the two of you if you have to move to another country or city. He didn’t even tell you that he signed the contract, you found out through social media which made you all that more annoyed. In all fairness to Christian, after signing the new contract for Manchester United he did do a lot of grovelling apologising for not speaking to you about it but you just gave him the cold shoulder. You were happy that he got a contract for a team that he wanted to play for especially with everything that had happened but still, he should’ve talked to you.

“I am happy for you,” you told him one random day. You had enough of ignoring him and you were now calm enough to actually talk it all through.

“I can never stay angry at you,” You huffed taking a seat next to Christian who instantly wrapped his arm around you and brought you into a hug. He had missed your closeness the past few days so the fact you were allowing him closer was nice for him because he missed it. And you.

“I love you and I’m sorry that I didn’t talk to you beforehand,” Christian apologised once again pressing a kiss against your temple.

“I love you too,” you replied pressing a tender kiss against his lips which got more and more passionate. It may have also led to Christian apologising to you in another way.

Listen, I think Ange is doing some great stuff here.

I’m not going to sit here and pretend I knew who Vicario was or that I like James Maddison, but they are players that we need. Madders can do things we’ve needed for ages.
