December 13. 1912 was the first performance in The Metropolitan Opera New York from the Intermezzo “The Secret of Suzanne” from the Composer Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari (1876-1948).
This short piece was followed by the Opera “Pagliacci” with Enrico Caruso that night. Here we see the original evening cast document.

VERDI: QUATTRO PEZZI SACRI
Las Quattro Pezzi Sacri de Giuseppe Verdi ocupan el lugar central en este nuevo álbum del mismo nombre del Rundfunkchor Berlin y la Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin bajo la dirección de Gijs Leenaars. Ya disponible.

El álbum también incluye piezas menos conocidas para coro de otros compositores italianos de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Al final de su vida, Giuseppe Verdi volvió al punto de partida de su carrera: la composición de música sacra.
Escritas por separado durante las últimas décadas de la vida del compositor, las cuatro obras para distintas instrumentaciones se publicaron en 1898 bajo el título colectivo de Quattro pezzi sacri. Esto indica que no deben entenderse como una sola obra cerrada, sino como una colección de piezas sueltas que originalmente no estaban juntas. El himno "O salutaris hostia" de Giachino Rossini se introdujo posteriormente como movimiento en una de sus obras más excepcionales: "Petite messe solennelle".
El álbum también incluye dos piezas corales de "Otto cori op.2" de Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari, que posteriormente fue conocido sobre todo por sus obras operísticas. En esta primera pieza con textos en italiano y alemán se revela su amor por la música italiana del Renacimiento. Otra rareza es "A Raffaello Divino" de Marco Enrico Bossi, cuyo catálogo de composiciones sigue siendo en gran parte desconocido, salvo sus obras para órgano. Como respuesta a la dramática obra tardía de Verdi, el "Réquiem" de Giacomo Puccini cierra el álbum. Puccini escribió el breve réquiem para el cuarto aniversario de la muerte de Giuseppe Verdi, el 27 de enero de 1905.
Rundfunkchor de Berlín
Con unos 60 conciertos anuales, numerosos CD y tres Grammys, el Rundfunkchor de Berlín es uno de los coros más importantes del mundo. Su amplio repertorio y su riqueza sonora lo han convertido en el socio elegido por las principales orquestas y directores de su ciudad natal, pero también a nivel internacional.
Gijs Leenaars
A partir de la temporada 2015/16 Gijs Leenaars asume su cargo como nuevo director principal
y director artístico del Rundfunkchor de Berlín. Leenaars está considerado uno de los directores de coro más interesantes de la nueva generación. Su programación, sorprendentemente imaginativa, reúne los clásicos del repertorio coral con obras poco interpretadas de todas las épocas.
Orquesta Sinfónica Alemana de Berlín
La Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin celebra su 75 aniversario en la temporada 2021-22. Desde su fundación en 1946, ha adquirido reconocimiento en todo el mundo. Su dramaturgia, sus programas de concierto únicos y su compromiso con la música contemporánea caracterizan a la orquesta.

Bach’ta da etkileri açık bir biçimde duyulduğu gibi, İtalya 18. yüzyılda müzik dünyasının sonsuz ilham kaynağıyken enstrümantal müziğin ülkede tekrar yükselişe geçmesi yüzyıllar aldı. Bu konserde sizleri şef Cem Mansur yönetiminde “Alpler’in ve Çağların Ötesinde” unutulmayacak bir müzik yolculuğuna davet ediyoruz.
