I find it incredibly bizarre that liberals will see "authority" and "autocratic" as bad while simultaneously oblivious to the fact that liberal democracy is equally, if not more "authoritarian" and "autocratic".
The first liberal democracies were borne out of bloody revolution and were immediate catastrophic failures. The american constitution had to be rewritten and multiple rebelling put down by the so-called "non-authoritarian" nascent liberal democratic state. The french liberal democracy also had their own "reign of terror" and fell instantly to a "autocratic" takeover. This is not even touching on the fact that both states forbid certain people from voting or even considering certain peoples as people themselves. Both states maintained large slave populations. Both states prevented free people without capital from voting. Is this not "authoritarian"? not "autocratic"?
One of the founding theorists of Liberalism, john stuart mill, was a utuilitarian who advocated for women's suffrage, but also believed democracy should no be extended to "barbarous races". john locke, the "father of Liberalism", likewise had similar views on racism and slavery, especially with his defense on property rights. Of course, the liberal state gets to decide who counts as a "barbarous race" thus, in america, indigenous people, poc, poor whites, were not allowed to vote. Similarly in liberal france. In India and Hong Kong, the liberal democratic "uk" refused to let Indians or Chinese vote, instead appointing royal governors. Is this not fundamentally "authoritarian" and "autocratic"?
Modern liberal democracies are no better. Is it not "authoritarian" to violently suppress indigenous people protesting for their land and their rights? Is it not "authoritarian" to have police that rampantly target and kill POC extra-judicially? Is it not "authoritarian" and "autocratic" that the state implements policies that the majority of citizen do not agree with? Most of all, is it not entirely "authoritarian" and "autocratic" that the maintenance of liberal democracies relies on the complete subjugation of the global south for resource extraction? In modern liberal democracies, prisoners and those who have had criminal records are stripped of their right to participate. Is this not "authoritarian"? Does this not strip people of their "freedoms"? Does this not give the state an incentive to put those who disagree with it in prison? Is that not "autocratic"?
The state hold the monopoly on violence. Therefore, it is the state that determines what kinds of violence is permitted and what is not. All liberal democracies, by the very foundational theses of liberalism itself, are states of, for, and by the bourgeoisie. Therefore, they get to determine what is violence. Under liberal democracies, it is abject violence to protest for civil rights; to protest and block fossil fuels extraction; to strike and march for workers rights. Therefore, the state meets these defined violence with unmatched violence of their own, justified by the monopoly on violence. Likewise, violence against property is considered one of the greatest forms of violence there is. Thus why the state responds so violently to theft of property, property damage, and etc.. The lesson to learn here is that it is NOT ENOUGH to simply brand something as "autocratic", "authoritarian", "free", having "liberty", or "violent". ALL of these are useless unless properly defined. Autocratic to who? authoritarian for what to do what? freedom to do what and for who? liberty for whom to do what? violent against and for who? Dig deep enough and you'll find the answer to these questions always come back to the same group: the bourgeoisie, to do whatever they want.
A proletarian state, on the other hand, will have the same type of monopoly on violence. The same kind of definitions for violence, freedoms, authority, etc. for the state. However, because the script is flipped (that it is no longer the bourgeoisie in power making these decisions), these material and ideological definitions change diametrically. It is not violent for workers to beat a factory owner to death and go on strike for higher wages. It is not violent for people to demand rights for minorities, POC, LGBT, etc.. Freedom under a dictatorship of the proletariat is freedom of the working class to do what they want. The proletarian state is uses its authority to suppress the bourgeoisie, uplift the proletariat, build critical infrastructure, and defend the gains of the proletariat. This is a fundamental material change in contrast to dictatorships of the bourgeoisie.

A man was arrested in the western Kosovo town of Peja/Pec on Tuesday on suspicion of killing his wife in the second femicide in the country in less than a week, prompting President Vjosa Osmani to declare a day of mourning.
The man had previously been found guilty of domestic violence in February 2022, sentenced to three months in prison and given a fine of 100 euros, Pec/Peja Basic Court spokeswoman Tringa Zhuti told BIRN. To avoid prison, the man paid an extra 300-euro fine instead. Justice Minister Albulena Haxhiu said she had invited the interior minister, the director of the Kosovo police service, the acting chief prosecutor and senior judicial and prosecution officials to a meeting to discuss a response.
“Despite the dedication, the measures undertaken, the campaigns initiated with the aim of gender equality, murders against women continue,” Haxhiu wrote on Facebook. “Violators have often become murderers precisely because of the lack of adequate punishment by the relevant institutions.”
Tuesday’s killing came five days after police arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of murdering his ex-wife and wounding her brother in the town of Ferizaj/Urosevac. The man was remanded in custody for 30 days.
Osmani, the president, declared April 17 a day of mourning “in remembrance of all the women and girls murdered in Kosovo as a result of gender-based violence”.
“Tomorrow will be a state day of mourning in Kosovo,” Osmani wrote on Facebook, “but our society will mourn every day as long as our women and girls are being murdered.”
In August last year, Amnesty International issued a report decrying the lack of institutional protection for victims of domestic violence in Kosovo, which has seen a series of protests over the past several years against gender-based violence and femicide.
Last May, BIRN reported that a lack of financial independence and support from family and society means many women in Kosovo who try to flee domestic violence end up returning to abusive husbands. There is also a lack of safe houses, with only seven across the country.
On Tuesday, activists of the Collective for Feminist Thought and Action tried to enter the Peace, Security and Women of Kosovo forum hosted by the Kosovo presidency, demanding a state of emergency be declared in the wake of the latest femicide.
They were turned back by police who said their presence posed “a security risk” and could harm Kosovo’s image, the activists said. Shkodran Nikçi, a spokesman for the Basic Prosecution, said an autopsy would be performed on the body of the woman killed in Peja/Pec and that the suspected murder weapon had been seized.

OnlyFans creator and former New York City traffic court judge Gregory Locke took to social media over the weekend to comment publicly for the first time on his removal from the bench.
Locke was fired from his job as an administrative court judge following a complaint from city council member Vickie Paladino. He'd been in the position since April 2022.
Palindino’s complaint took issue with a tweet of Locke’s that told her to “choke on a dick.” The post was in response to Paladino’s own tweet calling Drag Queen Story Hour “an absolutely shameful display.”
Locke had previously tweeted his dissent to other politicians about a myriad of issues.
The complaint led to Locke being fired for “unprofessional behavior,” according to the New York Post.
The tweets may have been perceived as having run afoul of rules of conduct that mandate judges avoid actions that “cast reasonable doubt” on their impartiality, even in their "extra-judicial activities."
Locke’s inciting tweets have since been deleted as his account autodeletes after a certain amount of days.
“Last week, I was fired from my job as a New York City Administrative Law Judge,” Locke tweeted on Sunday night. “This came after a member of the City Council took issue with tweets I wrote in response to their bigoted and misguided statements about drag queens and about the queer community at large. The Councilmember and news outlets also took this opportunity to expose me for unrelated x-rated work, none of which occurred during or at work for the City.”
The New York Post story that broke the news of Locke’s firing trumpeted the lawyer’s x-rated Twitter account. On it, Locke sometimes showed his face, admitted to others that he was a judge, and promoted for-pay x-rated OnlyFans and JustForFans accounts. In some of his captions, he referred to his job and sexual acts, in line with the “storylines” of popular porn accounts which take a nod from the narratives of studio porn. In another post, Locke also stipulated that tweets about work were about things he was doing not as a judge but as a partner in the law firm he founded in April 2021, Locke LLP — the firm continued to do business even as Locke took on his role as a judge.
Much of the media about the firing centered on Locke's sex work as the cause of the firing.
“It is disappointing that the City of New York decided to take the side of a documented bigot instead of seizing an opportunity to stand against ever-growing anti-LGBTQ hatred, particularly the fervent hatred toward the trans and nonbinary communities,” Locke continued. “The ethics rules guiding New York City Administrative Law Judges do not require a judge to abstain from politics or political speech. I remain steadfast in my insistence that my tweets, even if not polite, did not violate any ethical guidelines.
“The most vulnerable members of the queer community are fighting for their lives, and the only people offended by my tweets are those more interested in policing language than opposing policies and politics which kill.”
“I will continue my private work,” Locke wrote, referencing his own firm, “using my legal skills to represent paid clients and to offer pro bono services for members of the LGBTQ community who need it most. I will also continue my work on [OnlyFans and JustForFans.]”
To promote those accounts, the lawyer also operates a separate promotional Twitter account.
“Sex work, including porn, is not shameful and I will not filter my thoughts and actions to appease those who enact harm on my community,” he finished. “This started not as a political disagreement, but as a human one. A politician used their influence to win this battle, underscoring just how important it is — now more than ever — to stand up against bigotry and ensure the protection of the rights of the most vulnerable.”

QUICK TIME EVENT!!
What character has the highest in game confirmed kill count (only aa 1-6 and aai not gaa)
Extra discussion event: who has the most implied victims ? Shelley de Killer? redd white? Or maybe even Manfred von Karma?
hm. i honestly have no idea for this one.
i can’t recall anyone having a confirmed kill count except for joe darke from rfta. he has 5, which is not even that high.
i think the medical malpractice in 2-2 also had a confirmed number, though i wouldn’t know whether that counts towards a kill count or towards mimi miney or dr gray.
extra discussion: oh. very interesting. i think this is specifically difficult to determine, because you have no idea how long some characters have been. well. doing this. for manfred von karma you have a pretty solid idea (40 years), but that doesn’t mean he’s been murdering for forty years straight.
i think i’m personally leaning towards de killer. he’s still active (as opposed to redd white), he’s infamous amongst the police and prosecution (edgeworth recognised his calling card) and has not been caught, meaning he’s been doing this for a while and is good at it. also it is his job, so he probably does it year round. but i think redd white, having half the judicial system and police in his pocket, also has a SIGNIFICANT amount of victims.

Thinking about the Spider-Man post I made about how Spider-Man is just extra judicial state violence proposed as a good thing and people immediately started reblogging it with tags about how at least Peter isn't a cop. Like you guys a man with the worst neurosis in the world inflicting violence onto anyone he thinks is a criminal before leaving them tied up battered and bruised For the police is just being a cop without even the pretend facade of laws in the way. Like Peter Parker's Spider-Man is a jackass who will do anything to anyone as long as it soothes his perpetual neurotic breakdowns.
They even just had to address recently how Spider-Man was acting with Daredevil about the whole murder thing considering what Peter did in the 80s. Go to Germany, butt in where Wolverine tells you to leave it, accidentally kill a woman with a single punch to the chest, find Ned Leeds dead body in a hotel room, go back to America and take zero responsibility for any of it. Classic Peter Parker playbook. Cause if it isn't clear "responsibility" to Peter Parker's Spider-Man is whatever makes him feel better not actual responsibility. And writers had definitely begun to unpack that before fucking Zeb Wells came in

TRUE NARRATIVES:
A true narrative is an exposition of actual occurrences or experiences. It attempts to  communicate accurate facts about things  like people, places, and events. Realistic  stories aim to give an authentic portrayal of reality and frequently follow a chronological order.
Example:
Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer is a true narrative that recounts the author's firsthand experience of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster.
TESTIMONIES:
A testimony statement or declaration given  under oath, usually in court, is referred to as  testimony. It is provided in order to offer  proof or detail regarding accertain incident, circumstance, or experience based on the  witness's personal  experience.
Example:
In the case of the 'War on Drugs' campaign led by Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, testimonies could come from various sources, such as victims, witnesses, law enforcement officials, or human rights advocates, providing accounts of incidents related to the anti-drug operations.
CRITIQUE:
Testimony: The war on drugs campaign led by Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte
Introduction: The introduction of President Duterte's 'War on Drugs' campaign lacked a comprehensive explanation of its objectives and strategies. While the intention to curb drug-related crimes was stated, there was a lack of clarity on the methods employed and the potential consequences.
Summary: The summary of the campaign highlighted the significant increase in police operations targeting drug suspects, resulting in thousands of deaths. However, it failed to address the allegations of extra judicial killings and human rights abuses associated with these operations, presenting a biased portrayal of the campaign's impact.
Evaluation: The evaluation of the 'War on Drugs' campaign neglected to critically analyze its effectiveness in achieving its stated goals while upholding human rights standards. There was a failure to acknowledge the widespread condemnation from international organizations and human rights advocates, undermining the credibility of the campaign's outcomes.
Conclusion: The conclusion of the testimony failed to address the underlying issues of impunity, lack of accountability, and the erosion of democratic principles in the pursuit of law enforcement objectives. It overlooked the need for holistic approaches to address drug abuse and trafficking while respecting human rights and due process.

This is probably not the most pressing thing but I desperately wish people would stop acting surprised when people say they hate America and that's its an evil institution.
It's not even a race thing because I've meet asian and African people that act surprised when I say I'm afraid to go back. Like nigga the place where you can get lynched by a police officer and they give him a reward? And this happens almost daily??? The place of the trans genocide? The place where they got mass shootings in schools grocery stores churches and movie theaters???
"Oh I went to America and had a great time" congrats somebody paid for your good time in blood and it's surprising you made it out alive with these extra judicial killings done by any man with a bone to pic with marginalized people

To Investigate or Not To Investigate?
The International Criminal Court wants to Investigate and Persecute Former President Rodrigo Duterte of “War Agasinst Humanity” for the alleged Human rights violation and extrajudicial killings, lack of due process, and targeting of individuals without proper evidence. Human rights organizations, as well as some governments and the United Nations, expressed concern about the methods employed and the impact on the rule of law. The ICC wants to investigate Him form 2016 until 2019 on when he was president and before the Philippines drop out of the ICC.
The Duterte Admistration argued that the campaign was necessary to address the drug problem in the country and that it aimed to protect the Filipino people from the harms of illegal drugs. The President and his supporters maintained that the tough stance on drugs was essential for public safety and national security. There were calls for independent investigations into the reported human rights violations, both domestically and internationally. Some critics argued that the campaign disproportionately targeted marginalized communities and raised questions about the effectiveness of such a heavy-handed approach in addressing the root causes of drug-related issues. Also They said the The ICC is not under Philippines Jurisdiction and thus violating the Philippine Sovereignty.
As a Political Science Student I should disseminate wither Rodrigo Duterte should be Investigated or not. Firstly I agree with the Duterte Administration that the ICC has no jurisdiction over the Philippines, but the ICC counter says that they would only like to investigate with the help of the Commission of Human rights. Second the Drug war really was bloody with many Extra Judicial Killings with Drug lords and addict both innocent and Guilty without legal process called the Tokhang and Duterte’s Shoot to call policy said to the police. This can be interpreted as a crime against humanity because it was Systematic. Lastly the only way for the ICC to be fully used in when the country is lawless and stateless in order for the country to have a judicial system to prosecute persons, but in the case of the Philippine neither it is stateless and lawless and it also has a working judicial system. With this I can say that Former President Duterte should be investigated Firstly in the Philippines because it has a working judicial system even if the Supreme court doesn’t want to investigate the country is not lawless and stateless, so the Answer is to be not investigated. If he was guilty in court but the state doesn’t want to prosecute and put him to jail, then the ICC can help because the state became lawless in terms of its judicial system. So therefore if this was the Situation then yes he should be Investigated and prosecuted.

Dumping Ground For ‘Desaparecidos’ Uncovered In The U.S.!
WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – In the Philippines, “salvaged” is synonymous with extra-judicial killing. In many cases, the bodies of the murder victims are never found. The word is equivalent to ‘desaparecidos’ in the Americas — people who have disappeared, presumed killed by members of the armed services or the police. For the longest time — in the land of the…
